Merry Christmas!

Hello crafty friends, Merry Christmas! Leica here and I’m excited to show you how to make a fun A2-sized Christmas shaker card. Trust me, this card is an absolute delight to make, and whoever gets it will be over the moon! It’s so satisfying to give it a little shake. Let’s jump in!

I started with a white A2-sized piece of cardstock and gave it a fun background using the Layered Stockings Stencil. This stencil has three layers, and you can customize  your card panels with different ink colors. For my card, I used Festive Berries and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Inks. I added some splatters of gold acrylic ink to make it even more interesting.

To create the shaker part, I cut out a red frame using the Fancy Cake dies. I glued a clear sheet on the back of the frame. Then, I added foam tape on the back of the frame and filled it up with the Jolly Santa Mix before sealing it shut.

Next up, I assembled a Christmas stocking using the Build A Stocking Dies and filled it with bits from the Holiday Mug Additions Dies. For the words, I cut out “Merry” in gold glitter foam and placed it on top of the stocking. Then, I added “Christmas” on a strip of white cardstock and raised it up with some foam tape just below “Merry.”

Finally, I glued the card panel onto a standard A2-sized card base, and there you have it—my Christmas shaker card! I hope I’ve inspired you to give shaker cards a try. Be sure to share your creations with us using #prettypinkposhstamps. Happy crafting!

Christmas Stocking

Hello friends! It’s Leica, and I’m here with a lovely and easy Christmas card to share. I used some new dies from the holiday collection.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Stocking

First, I cut a light pink piece of paper with the Pierced Snowflakes Plate. This die is super detailed and perfect for holiday cards. Then, I used different colored paper from Spellbinders to cut out pieces for the stocking from the Build A Stocking die set. I also used a few parts from the Holiday Mug Additions.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Stocking

I added the word “joy” to the stocking and heat-embossed “to the world” in white on a strip of paper. I stuck it just below the “joy.” To make it shine, I attached some Metallic Silver Pearls. I finished it off by adding a red border to make the card stand out. The card measures 4.5 inches by 5.75 inches.

That’s it for my holiday card. I hope you like it and feel inspired to make your own cards using the latest Pretty Pink Posh dies. Happy crafting!

Merry Christmas Mug

Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Leica, and I’m thrilled to share this square-shaped Christmas card with you today. I used the latest Pretty Pink Posh dies and stencils. Let’s dive in!

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Christmas Mug

First, I cut a 5-inch square piece of white cardstock and added a candy cane pattern using the Layered Candy Canes stencils. I used Distress Oxide Inks in red (Festive Berries) and pink (Spun Sugar). They blend together nicely. To make things more interesting, I added some gold paint splatters.

Next, I cut out a cute mug using the Winter Mug Dies in light pink. Then, I made it even more adorable with Santa’s belt and buckle from the new Holiday Mug Additions. I also added some greenery and a couple of Christmas trees for extra fun. The sticks for those trees come from the Stitched Strip dies. Oh, and there’s a candy cane in there too, from the Winter Mug Dies.

For the sentiment, I used the Merry Christmas Shadow, cutting it from pink glitter foam and white cardstock. Finally, I glued the card panel onto a 5-inch square card base.

Thanks a million for stopping by! I’m absolutely smitten with how this card turned out. I hope you have a blast crafting with the Holiday Mug Additions. It’s a ton of fun to mix and match with the Winter Mug Dies!

Poinsettia Happy Holidays + Video

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video today for a Christmas card mixing new previously released products. I just love that I can mix and match from different releases to make a card!

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I started with using the Layered Winter Wreath Stencils to add brown to the twig details of the A stencil, red to the berries of the B stencil and two green inks for the leaf and pine needles of the C stencil. When the stenciling was done, I used the largest Eyelet Rectangle Die to cut out the wreath so that it looked centered in the middle of the rectangle.

Next I stamped my images from the Poinsettia Corners stamp set on some cream colored cardstock and colored them in with Ohuhu Art Markers, then used the Poinsettia Corners coordinating dies to cut them out. I stamped them in a brown ink to match the colors and have a softer look to the poinsettias – I love the off-white poinsettia look of the colors!

Poinsettia Happy Holidays + Video

For my sentiment, I’m using a cranberry red colored cardstock to cut two layers of the Happy Holidays Shadow Dies – just the words for this card. I used an adhesive sheet when die cutting so that I could easily adhere the two layers of the words together for extra stability when I’m ready to glue the sentiment to the card.

To assemble the card, I adhered the Eyelet Rectangle and Winter Wreath panel to an A2 size of brown cardstock which was then adhered to an A2 card base. I popped up the two Poinsettia Corners clusters with foam adhesive and then my liquid adhesive to adhere the sentiment to the center of the card.

For final touches, I used the Matte Gold Confetti Mix to add some shine around the card and some gold glitter embellishment to the center of the Poinsettia Corners images. I just love how rich this card looks and makes a beautiful holiday card.

I hope this brought you some inspiration today and that you’re excited for the Christmas season!

Happy Retirement

Hello, Gemma here today to share a retirement celebration card. I used the Happy New Year stamp set, which is perfect for lots of occasions, not just New Year.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Retirement

I began by embossing images from the Happy New Year stamp set on dark blue card with pale gold embossing powder. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out, adding some extra layers behind for dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Retirement

I used pencils to add colour to the images. I first added a layer of white pencil, then added a colour over the top. If you have metallic paints, that would be a great alternative.

For the bottle, I used a gold gel pen to add a shine to the cork and foil at the top.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Retirement

I cut a card base to 4.25” x 5.25, then adhered a panel of the dark blue card on top. To add some details, I took the Snowfall stencil and coloured through the spaces in the stencil with the gold gel pen. You could use a gold paste but this was a quick and easy alternative, with no clean up required.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Retirement

The sentiment is from the Celebration Scripts stamp set. I embossed both words with the same pale gold embossing powder on dark blue card. I used the coordinating die to cut out the larger word, adding some layers for dimension. I then cut the smaller word into a strip and adhered both to the card to finish.

Have a great day! Thank you for stopping by!

Merry Christmas Birds

Hi friends! It’s Zsofi here today and I am sharing a heartwarming winter scene mixing old and new stamps and die sets. Let’s dive in, shall we?

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Christmas Birds

First I stamped and coloured the images from Winter Birds with Copic markers and cut them out with their coordinating dies.

I needed a home for these cute birds so I die cut one of the Decorative Birdhouses from white cardstock and coloured the main part of it with Copic markers too, making sure that the colours match the birds. While I was die cutting I also cut a few Pine Sprigs from green textured cardstock.

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Christmas Birds

Then I worked on the background: I took a 4,25*5,5 inches blue cardstock and used the Winter Words stencil with a blue ink to get a tone-on-tone background. I added some metallic white and black splatters to make it even more festive. When the splatters were dry, I assembled the scene using 3D foam tape and a little silver thread to hang the house on the branches.

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Christmas Birds

For the sentiment, I chose the Merry Christmas Shadow dies and cut the script from pink glitter cardstock, while the shadow from vellum. I also white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Christmas stamp set on black cardstock and adhered them all to the bottom of the card.

As a finishing touch I stamped a few music notes around the house and added glossy accents to the berries, scarves and beaks.

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Christmas Birds

I hope you liked my card and got inspired to mix your older stash with the new ones. Thank you for stopping by and see you soon!

Merry Rex-Mas

Hello friends! It’s Leica and today I’ve got an adorable Christmas card filled with the most charming dinosaurs from Pretty Pink Posh.

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Rex-Mas

I started with a white A2-sized cardstock. Along the edges, I gently blended some Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink. To make it more interesting, I splashed some gold acrylic paint onto the card panel.

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Rex-Mas

Next up, I stamped, colored, and cut out the dinosaurs from the Christmas Dinosaurs stamp set. I used Ohuhu markers to give them their colors and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment onto the card panel and then foam mounted the dinosaurs for dimension. For a touch of shine and pizzazz, I added some Pistachio Pearls. Finally, I stuck the card panel onto an A2-sized card base.

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Rex-Mas

Thanks so much for popping over to the PPP blog today! I hope I’ve lit a creative spark in you to create some holiday cards using the Christmas Dinosaurs stamp set. Merry Rex-mas to you!

Christmas Pine Wreath

Hello, Gemma here with a card to share featuring the Winter Birds stamp set, and the previously released Pine Wreath stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Pine Wreath

I stamped out images from both sets and coloured them with Copic markers, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Pine Wreath

Copic colours:

  • Birds: E44-49 E99 R32-35 N0-1
  • Accessories: R24-27 G14-17
  • Holly and berries: G24 G46 R24
  • Pine cones: E53-57
  • Lights: Y11-17 C3
  • Bow: R22-27

I stamped the pine wreath with two colours of green ink for more texture, and used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Pine Wreath

To add interest to my background, I die cut a panel of white card with the Pierced Snowflakes plate. I stamped a sentiment from the Winter Birds stamp set, then adhered the panel to my A2 card base.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Pine Wreath

Next, I added the wreath and birds, then finished my card by adhering a few musical notes inside the wreath.

That’s it for this post. Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Theme Week: Day 7

Happy Holidays, my sweet friends! I’m Laura Evangeline joining Pretty Pink Posh here on the blog for a fun Christmas Theme Week. The project I created to share today is inspired by a gift card.

Save 15% on all items in our Christmas section during theme week!

I’m an avid collector of gift cards with cute designs (as well as postage stamps), and when I saw this one, I knew the Winter Foliage die set would be perfect to create a matching greeting card!

To keep things simple, I die cut the Gift Card Bag from kraft cardstock and all the images from Winter Foliage in white as well as the “For You” sentiment.

I then used Distress Oxide inks to color blend the pieces to match the gift card. I also used a bit of ink to shade the gift bag and color the white card base pale blue to match the background of the gift card.

After ink blending and assembling all of the flowers, I splattered several colors of ink over the pieces and set them aside to dry.

While everything dried, I trimmed the handle off the gift bag, replaced it with a bit of baker’s twine, and then used foam adhesive to attach the bag to a piece of woodgrain embossed white cardstock.

Once all the elements were dry, I was able to adhere everything together and slip in the gift card. I love how this turned out. It was so fun to create, and I can’t wait to create another gift card inspired card!
