Pretty Pink Posh: Be Mine Hearts

For the background of my card, I used the Half Heart stencils. I love these stencils because you can use different color inks for each side of the heart. I used the following inks:

Layer A – Distress Oxide, Abandoned Coral Ink
Layer B – Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves Ink

Pretty Pink Posh: Be Mine Hearts

For the stamped images, I used the Valentine Cupcakes stamp set and the Sweet Chocolates stamp set. I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors:

Cupcake: Sand (dog), Flesh Color (dog’s eye), Sugar Almond Pink (nose), Purple and Light Carmine (cupcake wrapper), Light Carmine (heart). I used the Blender marker to blend the colors.

Chocolates: Mid Brown, Purple, Light Carmine, Blender
Hearts: Purple, Light Carmine, Blender

Pretty Pink Posh: Be Mine Hearts

I added the stamps to two Eyelet Hearts. I used the largest die in the set and inked each side of the heart with the same color Distress Oxide inks I used for the stencil — Abandoned Coral and Seedless Preserves. I die cut another heart from white cardstock and layered it on top.

I die cut the Be Mine Shadow from white cardstock and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in Purple and Light Carmine. I used a water brush to blend the colors.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a sweet day!

Lucky Strips Shamrock

Hello crafty friends! It’s Dana here today with a colorful St. Patrick’s Day card to share with you all.

Pretty Pink Posh: Lucky Strips Shamrock

I started my card by making my card panel with the Simple Strips die. I die cut a rainbow of cardstock strips and attached them to my panel in rainbow order. Next, I used the Shamrock Shaker die to die cut a large shamrock out of a white panel. I then attached the panel over my rainbow with foam adhesive. I love all the clean white space with the colorful strips showing from behind.

Pretty Pink Posh: Lucky Strips Shamrock

For my sentiment I used the Lucky Shadow dies. I die cut the shadow from vellum and the word lucky from gold cardstock. Once the two die cuts were glued together I attached the sentiment to the center of my shamrock with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a few Sparkling Clear sequins to finish my card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Lucky Strips Shamrock

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I think this same card design will work great with other larger dies. I hope I inspired you to create one of your own.

Enjoy your day, Dana

Sweet Valentine Cupcakes + Video

Hello friends! This is Mindy and I’m here to share one of my favorite cards created from the
Valentine release using the Valentine Cupcakes. I have a full video tutorial explaining how I
created this card and the supplies used.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

A couple sets that I’m going to be using to create this card are the Valentine Cupcakes and
Sweet Chocolates stamp set. My images are colored on X-Press It Cardstock and colored with Olo Markers.

Another one of my favorites from this release is the Layered Heart Lattice stencil. I ink blended it with Salt Water Taffy and Candied Apple Distress inks.

The Eyelet Rectangle adds just a perfect touch to my Valentine design and so I trimmed my
stenciled panel down to fit just inside of the rectangle. Then adding my cupcakes and sentiment
with foam tape.

I hope you were inspired by today’s card and video. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Valentine Chocolates

Hello, Gemma here today, sharing a card with the new Sweet Chocolates stamp set. I teamed it with the new Eyelet Hearts die set, to create a chocolate box.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sweet Valentine Chocolates

I began by stamping out images from the Sweet Chocolates stamp set. I coloured them with copic markers, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Copic marker colours

  • R20-24 R30
  • YR23-24
  • E55-59
  • E40-41

Next, I die cut the largest die in the Eyelet Hearts set from two colours of pearlescent card. On the pink die cut, I used scissors to cut along the stitched line and remove the eyelet details.

I adhered the die cut hearts together, then the chocolate images on top. I added some layers behind each chocolate for dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sweet Valentine Chocolates

For the background, I die cut the Pierced Hearts cover plate with white card. This adds subtle details which is perfect for backgrounds.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sweet Valentine Chocolates

I stamped a small ‘wishes’ on the panel, from the older Holiday Scripts stamp set. I then stamped the word ‘Sweet’ from the Sweet Chocolates stamp set with worn lipstick distress oxide ink, then die cut it with the coordinating die. Finally, I adhered all the pieces to an A2 card base to finish.

Have a great day! Thank you for stopping by!

Lucky Rainbow

Good morning! It’s Lindsey here and I have a simple card to share that works great for St. Patrick’s Day but could be used all year. There are lots of times I’ve thought “I’m so lucky/blessed to know them,” and I’m so glad to have a fun way to tell them now.

Pretty Pink Posh: Lucky Rainbow

I started by dry embossing the smallest shamrock stencil from the new Layered Shamrocks stencils on my card base. Then I used the Simple Strips Dies to cut a rainbow of colors, adding a strip of gold right down the center.

Pretty Pink Posh: Lucky Rainbow

What’s at the end of every rainbow? A pot of gold, of course. The Cauldron Shaker Die worked perfectly for that. I popped up the center portion a bit, so you could see the dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Lucky Rainbow

Then, I added a sparkly gold sentiment using just the word layer of the Lucky Shadow Die. I stamped “to know you” from the Lucky stamp set to complete my card.

And there you have it. I’m looking forward to mailing this one. Thanks so much for joining me today!

Pastel Valentine Cupcakes

Hello everyone, June here! Today I’m back with another card I made using the new release using a variety of products.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Valentine Cupcakes

One thing I instantly noticed when I saw the Valentine Cupcakes stamp set is the familiar image on one of them – the bird on one cupcake matches the ones in the A Little Birdie stamp set! Stuff like this always sparks  an idea for a card.

So I went ahead and stamped some images from those 2 sets and colored them with Copic Markers. I also used some hearts from the new Decorative Hearts stamp set to make a little cluster of images to go in the center of my card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Valentine Cupcakes

For my background I used the Scallop Ovals and as always, I blended a background using Distress Oxide. I decided to use one of the stencils from the Layered Heart Lattice stencils on its own for a more subtle look. I used a blend of Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Saltwater Taffy to get the perfect shade of pink. For the panel behind the oval I used a bit of Lost Shadow and splattered some Hickory Smoke onto it.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Valentine Cupcakes

I adhered my panels with foam tape to give it some dimension. To finish off my card, I stamped and embossed the ‘XOXO’ that’s in the Decorative Hearts stamp set I used before.

And that’s it for today! I hope you enjoyed today’s blog post.

Pastel Valentine Cupcake

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today with a “sweet” Valentine’s Day card to share with you all.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Valentine Cupcake

I started my card by using the Big Valentine Cupcake dies along with the Valentine Mug Addition dies to create my images. I die cut the pieces from white cardstock and ink blended the individual pieces with finger daubers before assembling. I then added a few white paint splatters to my images and set them aside to dry.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Valentine Cupcake

Next, I used the Layered Heart Lattice stencil (2 layers) to create my card panel.  Such a sweet stencil for Valentine’s Day, but will also make the most adorable baby card too! Once my panel was finished I die cut it with the largest Eyelet Rectangle die. I then attached my cupcake and sweets to my card panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I used the Sentiment Strips: Valentine stamp set along with the Sentiment Strips dies for my sentiment.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Valentine Cupcake

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card. I just love how the Valentine Mug Addition dies can coordinate with the cupcake. It gives you so many options and fun possibilities. I can’t wait to see what you create.

Enjoy your day, Dana

Day 3: January Blog Hop + New Release Now Available

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE //  If you missed Day 2 CLICK HERE

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I’m thrilled to be back on the blog with this Valentine card showcasing the ever so cute Valentine Train, it’s such an amazing new stamp set, and what a great addition to the Pretty Pink Posh catalog!

I started off by stamping all the images from Valentine Train on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the matching dies, and colored everything using my alcohol markers using a salmon + red + brown color palette which I like a lot! And to make my card even cuter, I also stamped and colored a kitty from Cuddly Cats that I fussy cut to fit inside the empty wagon.

Next I cut a Pierced Hearts panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, and I wanted my background to contrast with the images, so I colored the panel using tumbled glass and broken china oxide inks. I mixed some broken china oxide ink with water and used a small brush to make splatters on the paper, and then did the same with copic opaque white ink.

I white heat embossed my “I choo choo choose you” greeting from Valentine Train on black cardstock and trim it into a scalloped banner using a Sentiment Strips die, attached it in the middle of the panel using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck my images using 1mm foam squares as well.

To finish my card, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and applied some morning dew nuvo drops on the hearts to make them sparkle. And that’s it! I hope that you like this adorable Valentine card. Thank you so much for stopping by, and see you next time!
