Springtime Chick Shaker
Hello friends! It’s Mindy Eggen here with you today, and I’m excited to share how I created this adorable Springtime Chick Shaker card.

This project is full of cheerful spring details and fun dimension, making it a perfect card to celebrate the season.

The Chick Shaker creates the focal point and interactive element, while the Watercolor Circle stencil helps build a soft and playful spring scene. I added extra charm with the Stitched Clouds and Springtime Holder Additions to bring the background to life, and finished the design with a sentiment from the Easter Banner Greetings and Banner Greetings 3 sets.
To give the die-cut pieces more depth and visual interest, I used ink blending in colors that coordinated with the cardstock choices. This simple technique adds subtle shading and dimension without overwhelming the design.
For the shaker element, I filled it with Bunny Hop Shaker Beads for movement and texture, and added Lemon Drop Jewels to the flower centers for a touch of sparkle and shine.
