Love You Valentine Card
Hello Crafty Friends! It is Hanh here with you today. I am so excited to share with you a sweet Valentine’s Day card featuring the adorable Valentine Tags set. Have you started collecting these Tags Stamp & Die sets? This Valentine Tags is the second set that was released. I absolutely love them! You really get a bang for your buck with these. They obviously can be stamped and diecut to make tags for gift bags and boxes. They can also be used to make cards, as I have done today. In addition to those options, these coordinating Valentine Tags Dies are great basic tag shapes that can be used as stand alone tag dies. I can see myself using these coordinating dies with the Valentine Ghost Friends to make a whole set of matching tags. I sure hope there are more of these Tags Stamp & Die sets released in the future. So let’s get started.
I stamped the image from the Valentine Tags Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Valentine Tags Dies to diecut it out. I colored it with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Ghost: C00/0/1, R000/20
Hearts: R14/24/27
Pink background: RV000/10
For the background, I used the largest die from the Pinking Rectangles Dies to diecut a piece of pink cardsctock. I used the Layered Cupid Items Stencil to lightly ink blend a subtle background with Saltwater Taffy and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the backside of this panel before it was adhered to a white A2 card base.
For the sentiment, I stamped the “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from the Valentine Banner Greetings stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I used the Banner Greetings 2 Dies to diecut a banner out. I adhered the colored tag and the sentiment banner to the pink panel with a combo of liquid glue and foam tape for a bit of dimension. I finished the card with a few tiny hearts diecut from one of the dies from the Box of Chocolate Dies.
