Hello, crafty friends! Leica here with a super cool Thanksgiving card to show you. I used some fall stencils and dies from Pretty Pink Posh to make this card extra special.
To start things off, I took a piece of white cardstock that’s 4.75 inches square. Then, I ink blended it with Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink. I also used a stencil called Falling Branches, and I used the same ink to make a cool pattern. I did this to make the colors match nicely. To add a border of color, I glued the card panel onto a 5-inch square brown cardstock.
Next, I used the beautiful dies from the Fall CornucopiaDies. I cut them from different colored cardstock and put some right onto the card. Others I made pop up a bit by using foam tape. I also added a sentiment on a black strip, and I white heat embossed it to make it stand out. Then, I used foam tape for added dimension.
Last thing I did was glue the card panel onto a 5-inch white card base, and ta-da, the card is done! I really hope this makes you feel excited to try making your own Thanksgiving cards using theFall Cornucopia Dies.
I stamped out three images from theChristmas Cupcakes stamp set, coloured them with copic markers, then die cut them with thecoordinating dies. I love to add sparkle for Christmas, so used liquid glue and loose glitter to add glistening details to each of the cupcakes.
Copic Colours:
Tree cupcake wrapper: R22-24, N0-1, Tree cupcake: G40 G43 G14, Y13-15 Tree: E57, G07 G14 G17 Santa: E00 E11-13 R30 R20 N0-1 Santa hat: R22-27 Gingerbread Man cupcake wrapper: R24 G14 Gingerbread man cake: E40-41 B01 Gingerbread man: E30-33 R24 G14
Next, I worked on the background. I used theStitched Torn Rectanglesto die cut two large panels in sparkle red and pearl green card. I also cut the second largest rectangle from white card. On the white card panel. I stamped a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Christmas set.
Next, I offset layered the red and green panels along the longest edge of the white card panel. I needed to cut down the larger panels so I could add this layered detail to both edges.
I adhered the layered panels on an A2 landscape card base, then added the Christmas Cupcakes on top with foam strips to finish.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope this card inspired you!
For the second card, I create a stocking shaped card and build the shaker up above the card panel. I used a non traditional Christmas color scheme of light colors and so the Christmas Tree Clay Confetti for inside the shaker. The Sentiment Strips: Christmas Stamp Set has a ton of perfectly sized sentiments and I used one with white heat embossing. These sentiment strips work perfectly with the previously released Sentiment Strips Dies.
Finally the third shaker is an end to end shaker or a rectangular shaker with the Stocking Shaker Die used to create a flat die cut to decorate the shaker window. To create the rectangle shaker frame, I used the stitched rectangle from the Fancy Cake Die. For inside the shaker I used the Christmas Magic Shaker Beads. I love the way the beads move so quickly inside a shaker window!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope these cards inspired you!
Hi there, crafty friends! Leica here, and I’ve got a jolly Christmas shaker card to share with you. I used some dies, stencils, and shaker bits from the Pretty Pink Posh October release.
To kick things off, I used the Jade ink from Pigment Craft Co to color in the Layered Christmas Trees stencils. Then, I added some Finnabair Snowflake Paste to add detail to the tree (it’s the B layer of the set). I decided to skip adding the tree stems.
Next, I made a pink frame using the Fancy Cake dies. I glued a piece of clear plastic on the back and put foam tape all around it to create a well for the shaker part. Then, I filled it up with some Christmas Cookie Shaker Beads. It’s a blast to shake this card with those beads inside!
For the words, I used hot foil to make “Merry Christmas” in gold on white cardstock and cut it with the matching Merry Christmas Shadow die. Then, I added some pizzazz by white heat embossing “Merry” on a strip of red cardstock and sticking it onto the card panel with foam.
Finally, I glued the card panel onto a standard A2-sized cardstock, and that wraps up my card.
Thanks a ton for stopping by, and I really hope you enjoy today’s card share. Have a splendid day!
Hello, crafty friends! It’s Leica here and I’m thrilled to share a fall-themed Thank You card that’s a breeze to create thanks to the fall dies and stencils from Pretty Pink Posh. The best part? No marker coloring required this time, making it a real treat. I’ve been all about these marker-free creations lately!
So, let’s dive in. I started with a 4.5-inch white cardstock, which served as the canvas for my card. To give it a fun backdrop, I used the Layered Fall Wreath Stencils. Using Distress Oxide Inks in shades like Dried Marigold, Mowed Lawn, Spiced Marmalade, and Twisted Citron, I was able to achieve the look of patterned paper with the magic of PPP stencils.
Next up, I cut the Easter Basket Dies in kraft cardstock and filled it to the brim with gorgeous sunflowers. I created these blooms using the Fall Cornucopia and Fall Mug Additions dies, all cut from Spellbinders cardstock. To add an extra dash of charm, I nestled some leaves behind the sunflowers and playfully placed a couple of acorns on the left side of the basket.
For the sentiment, I went with the heartfelt ‘Thankful For You’ stamped from the Sentiment Strips: Fall stamp set onto a tag, discreetly tucked behind one of the sunflowers. To frame the stenciled panel, I cut a dark green cardstock to 4.75-inch square and layered my stenciled panel atop it. This gave the card a splendid border of color. Finally, I glued the card panel onto a white card base.
And that’s a wrap for my card! I have to gush about how much I adore the Easter Basket Dies—it’s such a delight to fill it with cheerful sunflowers for an autumn-themed masterpiece. My hope is that this card inspires you to dust off this basket die and embark on your own crafting journey this season. Happy crafting!
Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video making holiday tags that you can use when gift wrapping or to top goodie bags filled with sweet treats.
I started with die cutting all of my parts of the tags with colorful cardstock and holiday patterned paper. I love rainbows for Christmas! I cut the Merry Script Die out of silver metallic cardstock and white sparkle cardstock. Next, I cut the patterned paper with the square from the Mini Scallop Card Dies and the card base out of different colored cardstock so we can make six tags in total.
The two layers of cardstock for the Merry Scriptsentiment are layered together so the silver just peeks out to the right of the white sparkle cardstock. The squares were adhered to the front of the Mini Scallop Card. The colors of the paper inspired my colors for the next step, stamping and coloring my images.
I stamped the Christmas Cupcakes stamp set onto some white cardstock that is alcohol marker friendly. I wanted my images to have a grey outline, but I do not have an alcohol marker ink that is dark grey. So I started with stamping my cupcakes with a fadeout ink and colored them with a “no line coloring” look. I used my MISTI to stamp, so I put the paper back into the MISTI and stamped over my colored images with a grey ink to achieve the look!
After the images were cut out with the Christmas Cupcakes coordinating dies, it’s time to assemble the rest of the tags! I picked which cupcake would look best with the colored cardstock and patterned paper and adhered it to the Mini Scallop Card. My Merry Script sentiment was then adhered to the tags!
In my video, I share how I turned one of these little tags into a gift tag that can be later used as an ornament by using a hole punch and some twine. I hope this inspires you to create your own holiday tags for the season!
Hi crafty friends! Rebecca here with a card featuring the easiest way to color in stamped images! First I stamped out several of the pumpkins from the Autumn Pumpkin stamp set.
In different colors of ink. I quickly poured clear fine detail embossing powder on top and heat set the pumpkins. Next I used blending brushes to blend the same colors of ink that I had stamped on each of the pumpkins starting at the bottom and pulling the color to the top. This easy blending colors the pumpkins to look like they’ve been colored with blending and shading but only takes a few quick minutes!
Next I used the with the same colors of ink to create a rainbow argyle background.
I layered a piece of white cardstock cut with the Stitched Torn Rectangle Dies on top of the argyle background and then popped up the sentiment strip and pumpkins on top.
I love this technique as it is the easiest way for my to create shaded and colored stamped images in minutes! I hope you’ll give it a try! Thanks for stopping by!
Hello! It’s Lindsey here. It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the entire mug collection of dies. There are so many fun bits and pieces in them, and in the Fall Mug Additions, the cute little acorn immediately caught my eye. Probably because I’ve loved finding acorns ever since I was a little girl.
Well, I die cut one acorn, blended some ink on, and loved it so much that I die cut another…and another…and another. Before long I had a little stack of colorful acorns.
I pushed the acorns aside to work on another card, but when I glanced down at the pile, I thought it looked so cute that I grabbed some press n’ seal to keep it all in place, and glued it right down onto a card. Quite possibly the easiest card ever!
Not wanting to take any attention away from the acorns, I stamped a simple sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Fall stamps and called it a day.
Simple cards just make my heart happy. :) I hope they make your heart happy, too! Thanks so much for joining me today!
Hello friends. It’s Lisa Mears on the blog today and I’m popping in to share some Christmas tags that I made, along with a tutorial on how to make them.
I used the largest die from theScallop Square Tag dies for the base of my tags. I die cut the tag from white cardstock. I masked off the sides of the tags with Scrapbook.com Mint Tape and then inked a background inside the square. I added ink to the top of the tag to resemble the sky, but I did not ink the bottom of the tag. Instead, I left the bottom of the tag white so that it would resemble snow.
For the images of my tags, I used theChristmas Dinosaurs stamp set. I stamped the images onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors: Bright Yellow, Yellow, May Green, Light Green, Mid Brown, Turquoise Green, Carmine Red, Red, Violet, English Lavender, Persian Blue, Light Gray and the Blender.
After coloring the stamps, I die cut them with the coordinating dies. Next, I arranged the stamps onto the tags and stamped the sentiment. I punched a hole in the top of the tags and added a red bow.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day! Lisa Mears
