Halloween Theme Week: Day 4

Hello Crafty Friends! It is Hanh here with you today with a sweet Halloween card featuring these whimsical Halloween Candy Hearts along with some iconic Halloween images from Ghost Friends, Potion Bottle Shaker Dies, Halloween Bucket Additions Dies and Halloween Holder Additions Dies.

I stamped the candy heart and ghost images from the Halloween Candy Hearts Stamp and Ghost Friends Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Halloween Candy Hearts Coordinating Dies and Ghost Friends Coordinating Dies to diecut them out. I also diecut the pumpkins from the Potion Bottle Shaker Dies and Halloween Holder Additions Dies and some candy corn from the Halloween Bucket Additions Dies out of Neenah Solar White and black cardstock. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock with the largest die from the Stitched Torn Rectangles Dies. I stamped the “Boo to You” sentiment from the Halloween Greetings Stamp set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I wanted to keep the card design clean and simple to save all of the attention for these adorable images. 

I adhered all of the colored images onto the panel with foam tape for some dimension and interest. I added a piece of craft foam to the back of the panel before I adhered it to a white A2 cardbase (4.25″ x 5.5″). I finished the card with a few onto the white panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension. I finished the card with a few sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.
