Thankful Pumpkin Kitty

Hey there, crafty friends! Leica here, bursting with excitement to share my cute autumn thank-you card with you. I used the Pumpkin Shaker Die and some other dies from Pretty Pink Posh to make this card extra special. Let’s jump right into the creative fun!

Thankful Pumpkin Kitty

To start, I cut out the largest die from the Stitched Torn Rectangles dies using purple cardstock. Then, I used Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink to add a purple touch at the bottom for an ombre look. To make things interesting, I splashed on some purple watercolor and white ink.

Now, the star of the show: the Pumpkin Shaker Die! I thought it’d be adorable to have a cat on top of the pumpkin. So, I mixed things up by using the fox head from the Fall Mug Additions and the whiskers from the Halloween Mug Additions dies. Super cute, right?

Thankful Pumpkin Kitty

Adding a bit of elegance, I used brown cardstock to foil the Thankful Script. Then, I used the Thankful Shadow Die to make it stand out. I also heat embossed “for you” in white on a strip of black cardstock and put it just under the Thankful script. It added a cool touch!

For an extra pop, I glued teal cardstock behind the card panel. Lastly, I glued the card panel onto an A2-sized white card base.

Thankful Pumpkin Kitty

That’s the story of my pumpkin shaker card with a sweet kitty twist. I pictured it in my mind, and I’m so glad it turned out cute. Thanks for spending time with me today! Have a fantastic day filled with creativity and smiles.

Happy Fall Jar

Hi friends! This is Amanda from Twiddler’s Nook and I’m thrilled to be on the Pretty Pink Posh blog today sharing a card I created with the fall release. I paired the super fun Fall Jar stamps and dies with the Deco Leaves stencil.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Fall Jar

I can tell the seasons are changing when I’m reaching for all of those rich, deep colors in my inks and copic markers. It’s almost subconscious because I love fall so much!

Today, I started my card with the messy background so it had time to dry while I was working on the other elements. First I inked up a 4×5.25 inch white piece of cardstock with distress oxide inks in aged mahogany and crackling campfire. I splattered the panel with water and blotted it dry before attaching the Deco Leaves stencil over the top and spreading Thermoweb Aged Copper Metallix through it.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Fall Jar

I removed the stencil, set the panel aside and cleaned everything before switching gears to stamping and coloring.

I stamped out all of those sweet images from the Fall Jar stamp set and colored everything with copic markers before using the coordinating dies to cut it all out. Then I used liquid glue to adhere all of the parts and pieces together except the mouse. He needed to stand out in a foam square.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Fall Jar

When my stenciled background was dry, I used liquid glue to adhere it to a white card base. Then I used the main die in the Spring Circles die set to cut a green label. I added the jar to that with foam strips and did the same to add the label to my background panel.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Fall Jar

To finish things off, I tied jute twine around the top of the card and tied it in a bow. Then I added Touch of Gloss to the berries, small leaves and spots on the mushroom.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Autumn Theme Week: Day 7

Autumn Theme Week: Day 7

Hi friends! Welcome to the last day of Autumn Theme Week.

It’s Zsofi here today and I am sharing a heartwarming Fall scene mixing old and new stamp sets. I love all the different pumpkins from the Autumn Pumpkins stamp set and wanted to pair them with some cute critters. I chose the adorable foxes from Winter Woodland.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 7

First I stamped and coloured the imags with Copic markers and cut them out with their coordinating dies.

Then I gold foiled the Thankful Hot Foil plate using a Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Platform. I found that the best results I get with the Hammermill 100lb white cardstock, it is a game changer. The Thankful Shadow die cut the sentiment perfectly, it looks amazing. I white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment from the Fall Jar stamp set on a thin strip of black cardstock.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 7

For the background I die cut light grey cardstock with the largest Stitched Torn Rectangles die an added a little bit of shading to the edges with black ink. I also added gold splatters to the panel using Gansai Tambi watercolours. It is an easy way to get some texture.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 7

Then I assembled the scene using 3D foam squares behind the foxes, so they stand out. As a fishing touch I used a white gel pen to add highlights and a black glaze pen to make the eyes and noses shiny. I also added a bit of glossy accents to the stems of the pumpkins. Isn’t it a lovely scene of gratitude?

Autumn Theme Week: Day 7

I wish you liked my card and got inspired to mix your older stamps with the new ones. Make sure you check out the previous days’ posts too, to see all the amazing Autumn inspiration from the design team.

Thank you for stopping by and see you soon,
Zsofi

Autumn Theme Week: Day 6

Autumn Theme Week: Day 6

Hi everyone! This is Sindhu with you today and I’m very excited to share with you a couple of fall themed cards. One is full of colour and the other is almost monochromatic.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 6

Here is the list of supplies I used to make card 1-

I started by creating a mask that I cut free hand. Instead of a perfect circle, I went for a wonky, fun look. I adhered the mask at the bottom left of the white cardstock panel that measures 4”x5.25”. Then, I lightly ink blended the whole panel with a soft kraft coloured ink. On it, I stenciled the background using the same ink with a heavier hand to achieve a slightly darker shade.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 6

Once I was happy with the background, I splattered kraft and green inks on it and removed the initially placed mask. On a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock,  I stamped the images and coloured them with Copic markers. I used coordinating dies to cut them out.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 6

Copic colours used-

  • Squirrel- E35, E33, E31, E30. For the white part- W3, W1, W00. Cheeks- R22, R20, R000.
  • Acorns- E59, E57, E55 and caps of the Acorn- E41, E40.

Glued the images in place and stamped the sentiment. Glued the finished panel on a kraft card base.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 6

Products used for card 2-

To make this card, I started by stamping several leaves on a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and used the coordinating stencil to colour them. It was SO easy and lots of fun! I used dye inks to ink blend inside the leaves and I chose shades of green, red, orange and yellow.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 6

I used coordinating dies to cut them out. Then, on a piece of white cardstock measuring 4”×5.25”, I lightly ink blended a soft blue on the background. I also splattered blue ink on it. Once dry, I adhered the leaves and cut off the parts that were hanging off the edges. Then, glued the frame and finished the card with a pastel blue card base.

I hope you like the cards and are inspired to create some fall themed cards.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 5

Autumn Theme Week: Day 5

Hi friends, Jeanne here. There are so many beautiful Autumn stamps and dies available at Pretty Pink Posh, that the hardest thing to do is choose a favorite. I’m mixing a little old with the new on this bright and whimsical card!

Autumn Theme Week: Day 5

The Fall Jar is a new favorite for me! I love the jar and all the different ways you can personalize it with sunflowers, fall leaves, sprigs of wheat, butterflies and the cutest mouse ever!

Autumn Theme Week: Day 5

Whenever I get a new stamp set I will ink it several times and then color all the images experimenting with different color combinations. After I cut them all with the coordinating die set it’s time to play! I arrange the images on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card front before committing and adhering everything in place.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 5

The clear plastic also allows me to move the entire arrangement at one time as I decide what background will complete the perfect arrangement. I am smitten with the Stacked Edges and Stitched Strips that make assembling backgrounds a snap. The die cuts fit together perfectly like puzzle pieces for a clean smooth die cut background.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 5

I just add double sided adhesive to my card front and then start adhering the die cut strips. When you flip the card over, it’s easy to trim off the excess from the outer edges. I always cut several strips at one time and then keep the spares in an envelope so I have lots to choose from when it’s time to make.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 5

I hope you’re enjoying these crisp fall days. I love that I can capture every season from the comfort of my home with my favorite fall images.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 4

Hi Friends! It is Melody here on the blog today for another day of the Autumn Theme Week. My card is created with a mix of Pretty Pink Posh products, both new and previously released. Let’s get started!

Save 15% on all items in our Thanksgiving section during theme week!

One of my favorite new products from the Fall Release is the Fall Jar Stamp Set. There are a variety of different stamps to fill the jar and create different scenes. I started by stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloring with Copic Markers. Then I die cut the images with the Fall Jar Coordinating Dies.

I added twine around the top of the jar and added the tag with a stamped sentiment from the Fall Jar Stamp Set. Next I stenciled the green cardstock with the Deco Leaves Stencil. I added a panel of vellum die cut with the Stitched Torn Rectangles Dies. The vellum helps the stamped images stand out from the background but still lets the pattern show through.

On the bottom portion of the card I stamped the Fall Borders Stamp Set with Kraft Ink on Kraft cardstock. To separate the patterns I added a strip of cardstock die cut with the Stitched Strips Dies and border die cut with the Eyelet Borders Dies

I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Fall Stamp Set and a few Metallic Gold Jewels.

Thanks so much for joining me today.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 3

Autumn Theme Week: Day 3

Hello crafty friends, Davina here to share so fun autumn inspiration. Pretty Pink Posh always has the prettiest fall themed products and I pulled together some of my favorites for you. There are several layered leaf stencil sets, and I gathered together a newly released stencil to use as the background for my scene.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 3

I started this fall card by inking the Layered Fall Wreath stencil onto the largest Eyelet Rectangle layer. I used shades of yellow, coral, orange, brown and even green for these leaves. I splattered the panel with brown and gold ink and put aside to dry. Next, I die cut the super cute Acorn Shaker Die from creamy cardstock, and inked it with several shades of brown. The large layered mushroom from the Fall Mug Additions is one of my favorite dies, with that fancy little ruffle. I colored it in shades of cream and coral, then added some splashy details.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 3

The main accent of this scene are the two sweet birds that are also inked die cuts. I cut two of the birds from the Stitched Birds dies, and used the residual ink on my brushes to gently add some color to these cuties. After adding some small copic details, I assembled the pieces.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 3

I adhered all of my die cut pieces to the stenciled background, then added a stamped sentiment from Autumn Pumpkins to the center. I loved the look of the crisp brown lines so I decided to stamp a few leaves from the same stamp set, and tucked them around the scene. I finished this off with a sprinkling of sequins from the Matte Gold Confetti Mix.

I just love how all of the products from Pretty Pink Posh mix so well together, it makes so easy to put together beautiful cards no matter what your crafty style is. Thank you for dropping by!

Autumn Theme Week: Day 1

Autumn Theme Week: Day 1

Hi friends! It’s Stefanie here today kicking off Autumn Theme Week and I’ve created a cute pumpkin shaker on a simple stamped background to share with you!

Save 15% on all items in our Thanksgiving section during theme week!

Autumn Theme Week: Day 1

To create the card, I started by using the Pumpkin Shaker Dies and die cut the outline of the pumpkin 6 times on white cardstock. I stacked them together using liquid adhesive and sandwiched some acetate between the top 2 layers to create a shaker window.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 1

I filled the shaker with a combination of the gorgeous Matte Gold Confetti Mix and Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix. Then I sealed off the back of the pumpkin shaker with cardstock that I ink blended evenly with Concord and 9th’s Marmalade orange.

The stem and leaf at the top of the shaker are also from the Pumpkin Shaker Dies, but this time I only used single layer die cuts. I ink blended the stem and leaf using Concord and 9th’s Wheat and Sprout colored inks, respectively and adhered them behind the pumpkin shaker.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 1

Now that the shaker was complete, I moved on to create the background. I wanted the pumpkin shaker to be a bright focal point and opted for a simple stamped background using the cutest mini stamps from the Fall Jar stamp set. I stamped them all out using Pumice Stone distress oxide for a soft and subtle look.

Autumn Theme Week: Day 1

The pumpkin shaker was then adhered directly onto the background and I propped up a sentiment underneath. The sentiment is from Sentiment Strips: Fall stamp set, embossed in white on a banner from the Sentiment Strip Dies which I colored brown using Copic marker E44.

And finally the card is finished! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you like how my card turned out!

Tree Cover Plate in Three Different Ways

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears on the blog today and I’m sharing three cards and three ways that I used the new Tree Cover Plate from Pretty Pink Posh. I’m going to be using some holographic silver and gold cardstock to get a beautiful shine on my cards.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

The Tree Cover Plate die is the size of an A2 size card (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”). There are nine Christmas trees that have beautiful stitched designs on them. You can take the Christmas trees out of the die cut or leave them in the die cut for a different look.

Tree Cover Plate in Three Different Ways

I die cut the Tree Cover Plate from white cardstock and then die cut it two more times using Holographic mirror paper in gold and silver. This gave me a total of three cover plate die cuts. I removed all of the Christmas trees from all three die cuts and set them aside.

For my first card, I glued the white Tree Cover Plate die cut shape onto an A2 card base and then added the silver and gold Christmas trees to all of the openings on the cover plate. I added dimensional foam to the back of the Christmas trees to give them dimension. I added a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Christmas stamp set and used the coordinating dies to cut out the sentiment.

Tree Cover Plate in Three Different Ways

For my second card, I added the gold Tree Cover Plate die cut shape onto an A2 card base and then added five of the white Christmas trees (from the white Tree Cover Plate) to the openings. For this card, I glued the white Christmas trees flat to the card and then added the sentiment with dimensional foam to pop it up.

Tree Cover Plate in Three Different Ways

For my third card, I used the silver Tree Cover Plate die cut shape and turned it into a shaker card! Be sure to watch my video to see how I made the shaker. I used the Christmas Cookie Shaker Beads for the shaker.

Tree Cover Plate in Three Different Ways

I love how you can get so many different looks from just one die! Thank you for stopping by today!
