Halloween Theme Week: Day 2

Hi Friends! Emily Mydlowski “hanging out” [spider pun] with you today sharing a Black & White Creepy Crawly Web design using the Spider Web Cover Plate Die.

This is a very clean and simple design. It’s easy to create, but still makes a big statement with its contrasting black and white color scheme and elements like glossy and glitter cardstock that add visual interest and a touch of sparkle. 

I began by cutting out the Spider Web Cover Plate using black cardstock. I then layered it three times with liquid adhesive. Finally, I added the fourth top layer with a glossy black cardstock spider web. By stacking all the web layers it, elevates the panel almost looking like it’s floating above the black and white starry background. 

To finish the card, I added black glitter cardstock spiders & a black and white embossed “EEK” sentiment from the Halloween Word Scenes Stamp Set.
