Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a butterfly-themed card, using the new Butterly Shaker Die and Layered Butterflies Stencils. These products go so well together and are perfect for any occasion.

Pretty Pink Posh: Blog Hop + Spring Release Now Available

Let’s begin! I first cut a 5” square panel in purple cardstock. I ink blended through the Layered Butterflies Stencils with Distress Oxide Inks – Worn Lipstick + Picked Raspberry, Salvaged Patina + Peacock Feathers, Shaded Lilac + Seedless Preserves, and Mustard Seed.

Pretty Pink Posh: Blog Hop + Spring Release Now Available

Next, I cut a 4.5” square panel in vellum to layer on top of the stenciled panel and stamped the sentiment with Stazon Jet Black Ink. I then cut the Butterfly Shaker Stencil twice – one in white glitter cardstock and one in purple glitter cardstock. I inlaid the wings of the butterfly and foam mounted it on top of the vellum panel. I then adhered the vellum on top of the larger panel and added the new pearls (Creamsicle, Light Orchid, Limeade, Pansy Purple, and Sea Foam) to add pops of color to the butterfly. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a 5” square card base.

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today sharing a fun Easter card and gift tag. For my projects, I am using the Easter Circles stamp set. I just love the images in this set. They are so adorable and perfect for all of your spring and Easter crafting.

Pretty Pink Posh: Blog Hop + Spring Release Now Available

I started my projects by stamping my images with the Easter Circles stamp set and the Easter Signs set (pinwheel). I colored the images with Copic markers (RV13/11/10 C17/15/13, YG13/03, BG 23/11, YR14/12 W22/1/0) and used the Easter Circles dies and Easter Sign dies to cut them out. Next, I added dye ink to the Easter Circles dies in coordinating colors. I love how these dies include the stitching detail, so sweet!

Pretty Pink Posh: Blog Hop + Spring Release Now Available

For my card panel, I used the Wide Stripe stencil. I placed the stencil on my panel vertically and added aqua ink. I then turned the stencil horizontal and added yellow ink to create a plaid design.

To finish my card I used the Hoppy Easter Script die to die cut my sentiment. I then used the Birthday Scripts stamp set to stamp the word Happy onto a white banner. Lastly, I attached all of my images to the card panel with liquid glue and foam adhesive.

Pretty Pink Posh: Blog Hop + Spring Release Now Available

For my tag, I used the bunny from the Easter Circles stamp set. I mounted the circle onto a tag that was created with the Birthday Circles tag die. I love how all of the circle sets and dies can be mixed and matched. It gives you so many possibilities. I can’t wait to tie this tag onto some Easter treats!

Sneak Peek: March 2022 Stencils

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today sharing a sneak peek of some of the new stencils coming to Pretty Pink Posh on March 14th. The stencils for this release center around Easter and spring. There are four different stencils being released, which include Layered Eggs, Layered Butterflies. Happy Days and a Floral Background.

Pretty Pink Posh- March 2022 Stencils

My first card uses the Layered Butterflies stencil. I started my card by ink blending Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar onto my card panel to give it a soft pink look. I then used the first butterfly layer and Distress Oxide ink Worn Lipstick to create my butterflies. For the second layer, (butterfly detail) I used Carved Pumpkin ink. For the third and final layer, I added Glitz Glitter Gel in Gold for the butterflies bodies. To finish my panel I added a few splatters with gold paint for a little added detail.

Pretty Pink Posh- March 2022 Stencils

Once my panel was dry, I used the new Butterfly Shaker die to create my shaker window. I added acetate behind the window and inlaid a butterfly in the opening that had been die cut with gold glittered paper. I filled my shaker with the new Creamsicle Pearls and closed up the opening with foam adhesive.

Pretty Pink Posh- March 2022 Stencils

Lastly, I used the Simple Sentiments set to stamp my sentiment.

Pretty Pink Posh- March 2022 Stencils

My next card uses the new Layered Eggs stencil. I just had to create the eggs in a rainbow of colors! There are two stencils included in this set and they are so easy to use and line up. I did some simple masking and used tone on tone dye ink. On my final layer I did add a layer of Ranger Texture Paste in Transparent Gloss to give the eggs some extra shine and texture.

Pretty Pink Posh- March 2022 Stencils

To finish my card I used the Hoppy Easter Script die. I die cut the sentiment three times with white cardstock and once with a light pink glittered cardstock I had in my stash.  I then stacked the dies for some added dimension before attaching them to my card panel.

Pretty Pink Posh- March 2022 Stencils

Thanks for joining me today. I hope I inspired you to give these new stencils a try… I know you won’t be disappointed. They are so fun and easy to use!

Join us tomorrow as we reveal all of the new products in picture form so you can start to compile your wish lists for the March 14th release date!

Enjoy your day, Dana

Sneak Peek: March 2022 Dies

Hello Friends! It’s Raquel here today sharing some sneak peeks of the new dies coming to Pretty Pink Posh on March 14th.

There are some very innovative dies for this upcoming release! The moment I saw them I knew I’d be creating some fun and happy themed designs.

Pretty Pink Posh: March 2022 Dies

These project features the new 3D Pinwheels dies. They come in two sizes, and I just love them! You can be as creative as you want and use pattern paper or create your our paper.

I decided to do the later, so I grabbed my Distress Oxide Inks and some stencils.

I used the new Floral Background Stencil and the Mini Polka Dot Stencil in some of the pinwheels and colored them using several pastel colors: Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo, Spiced Marmalade, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Salvaged Patina.

Pretty Pink Posh: March 2022 Dies

Once the ink blending was done, I just used these gorgeous dies to cut out three small pinwheels and three bigger ones. Then I folded them towards the center and secured them with a mini brad.

Lastly I just glued some colorful straws to the back with permanent glue. So easy!!! These are just perfect for any celebration, and I can assure they look stunning in real life.

Pretty Pink Posh: March 2022 Dies

My next project features the Flat Pinwheels. These can also be used in any celebration project or incorporate them into cards. I wanted to use as many pinwheels as possible in the same project so I used the smallest one.

I cut out several pieces in different colors and foam mounted them using the Slimline Scallop Frames. To add some texture to this colorful project, I added some white strips I had previously cut out with the Simply Strips dies.

I glued them to the front layer and arranged my pinwheels trying to make them look like if they were moving. I also added some spatters and some of the new Pearls.

Pretty Pink Posh: March 2022 Dies

I gold heat embossed the sentiment from the new Hugs stamp set and placed it in the middle. I love how this card turned out. These colorful pinwheels pop out so beautifully against the white background.

I hope you have enjoyed I gave you some ideas to create some fun and unique projects with this one of a kind dies.

Have a great day, Raquel

Sneak Peek: Hugs

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a sneak peek of the new Hugs stamp set. I just love this set and if you have any of the previously-released word stamp sets (Baby, Dad, Joy, Love, Mom), this would be a wonderful addition to have.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hugs

Here are the Copic marker colors I used for this project.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hugs

For my card panel, I cut a 5.5” square in light pink cardstock. The background is done by ink blending through the Happy Days Stencils in Antique Linen, Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender, Squeezed Lemonade, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hugs

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the Hugs stamp with the coordinating dies. The sentiment is stamped onto a strip of Kraft card stock. I then foam mounted the stamped elements onto the card panel. I adhered a few Sea Foam Pearls here and there to add interest to the card. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a 5.5” square card base.

Sneak Peek: Easter Wreath

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a sneak peek of the new Easter Wreath stamp set which will be available on March 14th. This is another beautiful set to add to the other previously-released Wreath collection

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Easter Wreath

To start, I stamped the wreath on white cardstock in Memento Rich Cocoa Ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and cut with the Easter Wreath coordinating die

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Easter Wreath

Next, I cut a 4.5” square panel in white cardstock. I used the new Floral Background Stencil to create a Spring background. The colors I used are Dried Marigold, Kitsch Flamingo, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks. To make the shaker element, I cut a 5.5” acetate and wrapped it  around the panel, adhering the tabs with double sided tape. I added some Bunny Garden Clay Confetti before adhering the last flap down. I then layered this panel on top of a 5” pink cardstock.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Easter Wreath

Sneak Peek: Easter Circles + Easter Signs

Hey folks, Kavya here. I am showcasing some amazing products for the upcoming March 14th release. If you like scene building and cute critters, you are in for a treat! This month’s theme is Easter and Spring… complete with gorgeous butterflies, decorated eggs and flowers!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Circles + Easter Signs

For today’s project, I decided to showcase the new Easter Circles and Easter Signs stamp sets. I also used a few images from other new stamp sets like Easter Wreath and Hugs :) If you are looking for ways to incorporate the Circles line of stamps into scene building, here is a fun card sketch that can be used with any of the releases. Simply start with a slimline card and add a circle in the middle surrounded by critters on the side.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Circles + Easter Signs

For this project, I used a card base of size 4.25” x 6” just so that I could add a tree top. I started off with ink blending the sky using Victorian Velvet, Dried Marigold and Antique Linen distress oxide inks. Then, I diecut a strip of grass using green cardstock and treetops and bark from green and linen cardstock using Nature Essential dies. I ink blended these diecuts using matching distress oxide inks and added paint splatters to make them more realistic.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Circles + Easter Signs

Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Easter Circles, Easter Signs, Easter Wreath and Hugs. I layered the Easter circle on top of a scalloped circle die cut using Winter Circles coordinating die. Adhered all of these images to the card base using foam and that’s it! You are done :)

Isn’t this release just cute? I can’t wait for you to see all the other products in the next few days! You won’t be disappointed :)

Thanks,
Kavya

Monochromatic Birthday Cupcakes + Video

Hello friends! Mindy Eggen here to share a fun monochromatic birthday card with you using the Layered Cupcakes Stencil.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

This stencil is great for creating a rainbow of colors but I thought doing more cool tones with a monochromatic look would lean this more towards a card for the guys. Guys love cupcakes too!

Pretty Pink Posh: Monochromatic Birthday Cupcakes + Video

I had started off my card by ink blending one of my favorite distress oxide combinations that I hadn’t used in a while and that is Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch.

Pretty Pink Posh: Monochromatic Birthday Cupcakes + Video

I’ll use two of these colors, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers, to apply ink onto the background using the layered stencils. You can go a little heavier handed with the ink here to make it stand out a bit more.

After cleaning off the last layer of the stencil, I’ll reposition it back onto the card front and add some glitter glaze.

Pretty Pink Posh: Monochromatic Birthday Cupcakes + Video

Since my background is pretty colorful, I’m going to keep the sentiment and images pretty simple. I’m using the Build A Cupcake stamp set and coordinating die. I’ll be doing very minimal copic coloring on the cupcake.

What a fun and colorful birthday card right?!

Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Wreath

Hello friends, it’s Leica here. There is a new addition to the Pretty Pink Posh wreath sets! Today, I am sharing the Birthday Wreath stamp set with you all. I’ve never made a shaker card with any of the wreath stamps, so I thought I’d try it out and it turned out so cute.

**The new release has been selling like hotcakes! For the first time ever, we are offering pre-orders on some of the sold out items. You can find all of those products HERE. **

Pretty Pink Posh: Birthday Wreath

Let’s get started! I first cut a 4″ circle in lilac cardstock and layered it with a 4.5″ circle in blue cardstock. I then stamped the wreath onto white cardstock, colored it with Copic markers, and cut with the coordinating die. I used B02/00/000, E44/43, RV25/23/21, V17/15/12, Y18/15/11, and YR07/02/00. I adhered a sheet of acetate onto the back of the wreath and stamped the happy birthday sentiment with Stazon ink. To make a well for the shaker, I added foam tape around the wreath. I used the Piñata Party Mix for the shaker elements.

Pretty Pink Posh: Birthday Wreath

This confetti mix was my color palette inspiration for my card. I wanted to add some of the new pearls, so I adhered Sunshine pearls on the wreath using liquid glue. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a 4.5″ circle card base.

Pretty Pink Posh: Birthday Wreath

That’s all for this super fun shaker card. I hope that you’ll try to make shaker cards with any of the wreath sets. Happy crafting!

Slimline Birthday Scene + Video

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here.  Scene cards are some of my favorite cards to make and there are so many fun products in the Pretty Pink Posh February release that I just couldn’t help myself to make a fun slimline scene birthday card.

Since Pretty Pink Posh is turning eight years old this month, I decided to make a birthday card to celebrate the occasion.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I started off by stamping the images from the Balloon Alphabet stamp setBalloon Numbers stamp setBirthday Borders stamp set, and the Crafty Critters Stamp set. (Note: The Crafty Critters stamp set was a promotional stamp set which has sold out. Stay tuned for when it’ll be released for purchase later this year!)

Copic colors used:

H Balloon – RV02, RV04, RV06
B Balloon – BG11, BG13, BG15, BG49
D Balloon – RV000, RV00, RV02
8 Balloon – YR12, YR14, YR16
Presents – YR12, YR16/RV00, RV02, RV04, RV06/BG11, BG13, BG49/RV00, RV02, RV04/BG11, BG13, BG49
Mouse and Koala – Blender, C0, C1, C3, C4/R01, R11

Pretty Pink Posh: Slimline Birthday Scene + Video

After coloring my images, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Next, I die cut the Nature Essential Dies from plain white cardstock and set aside the cloud border and grass borders from this set.

To create the cloud background, I started by cutting a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to 3 3/8” x 8 3/8”. Next, I used the cloud border that I die cut from the Nature Essential Dies along with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create a cloud background for my card. I also applied Mowed Lawn Distress ink to the two grass border die cuts from the Nature Essential Dies.

Pretty Pink Posh: Slimline Birthday Scene + Video

Next, I began to assemble my card. I cut the Birthday Borders in half so that only the first six presents were showing.  I added one of the grass borders behind the presents at the top of the border. I added the smaller grass border in front of the presents at the bottom of the border.  I added some Mowed Lawn Distress ink to the bottom portion of the card panel and then adhered the Birthday Borders to the bottom of the slimline card panel. Next, I added the remaining stamped images to the card panel.

To add dimension to the clouds, I used the Build-A-Cupcake Die Set and die cut two of the frosting dies that resemble a cloud shape from white cardstock. I added Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to the clouds and then cut the cloud die cut in half. I added foam tape to the back of the cloud die cuts and added them to my card. I love how the clouds add dimension to the card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Slimline Birthday Scene + Video

Finally, I added the card panel to a pink slimline card base that measures 3 1/2” x 8 1/2” and added the Flamingo Pearls to the card front.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Be sure to check out all of the fun new products in Pretty Pink Posh’s February birthday release.

Have a wonderful day!
Lisa Mears
