Sneak Peek: Crafty Days + Crafty Sentiments

Hello, Gemma here today with a sneak peek of two new stamp sets from the May 16th release – Crafty Days and Crafty Sentiments.

For my first card, I stamped out a border four times from the Crafty Days stamp set. I coloured the images in a rainbow of copic markers, then die cut them with the Crafty Days coordinating die.

Sneak Peek: Crafty Days + Crafty Sentiments

On a 5.25” card base, I stamped a greeting from the Crafty Sentiments stamp set. There are lots of great sentiments to choose from in the set.

I adhered the borders to my card base. To add some variation in dimension, I adhered a second die cut layer behind the 1st and 3rd borders. Once adhered to the card base, I trimmed away anything overhanging to finish.

Continuing the rainbow theme on my second card, I used the new Pinstripe stencil with distress oxide inks to add lots of colour to my A2 card base. The colours I chose were Saltwater Taffy, Squeezed Lemonade, Salvaged Patina, Shaded Lilac and Kitsch Flamingo.

I stamped and coloured two images from the Crafty Days stamp set. The coordinating die set comes with both a square to cut the images out, along with a scalloped square for layering.

On my card, I stamped a greeting from the Crafty Sentiments stamp set. I recommend using Versafine Onyx Black ink as it stamps well over the distress oxide inks.

I then used foam tape to adhere the images over white glitter scalloped squares, before adhering to my card base to finish.

I hope you enjoyed these cards. Join us tomorrow for another day of sneak peeks!

Pastel Happy Days

Hello, Gemma here. Today I’m sharing a card featuring a lovely layering stencil set called Happy Days. It makes such a cheerful and fun card, quickly and easily.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Happy Days

When using the layering stencils, I like to start with a 6×6” card panel. This allows me to get the stencils aligned properly.

I blended each layer with distress oxides – Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Salvaged Patina, Shaded Lilac, and Hickory Smoke.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Happy Days

On an A2 notecard (4.25 x 5.5”), I adhered three thin strips of coloured card, die cut using the Stitched Strips die set. I chose colours to match the stencilled rainbows.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pastel Happy Days

I trimmed down the stencilled panel and adhered it to the card above the stitched strips. For the sentiment, I used the Birthday Scripts stamp set. I stamped a smaller sentiment directly on the panel, then added a stamped and die cut greeting underneath.

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you for stopping by!

Mother’s Day Bouquet

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a Mother’s Day card, using previously-released sets: Large Floral Hearts Stamp Set, Mom Stamp Set, and Mother’s Day Stamp Set. I love going through my stash and combining different sets, even if they are meant for other occasions.

Pretty Pink Posh: Mother's Day Bouquet

To start, I cut a 4 inch square in patterned cardstock and adhered it onto a 4.5 inch lavender card base. I then stamped, cut, and colored the images from the sets mentioned above. I used Copic markers – BG10, BV02/00/0000, E40, R22/20/00/000, Y13/11, and YG23/21.I then adhered the heart onto the card panel and placed a 3.5 inch square in vellum to soften the look of the heart. Next, I foam mounted the floral arrangement and butterflies on the vellum. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of kraft cardstock and glued onto the card panel.

Pretty Pink Posh: Mother's Day Bouquet

That’s all for this Mother’s Day card. I hope that I’ve inspired you to use older stamp sets to make new cards. Have a great day!

Creating 2 Butterfly Cards with Different Techniques + Video

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. Today I’m sharing two cards that I made using some products from the Pretty Pink Posh March Spring/Easter release.

Creating 2 Butterfly Cards with Different Techniques + Video

If you would like to watch how I made my cards, then watch my video.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

My first card features the Butterfly Shaker die setFloral Background Stencil, and Smile Script die. I applied modeling paste to the stencil and then sprinkled the card layer with embossing glaze (Speckled Egg, Salvaged Patina, and Broken China). Next, I heat set the background. I used the Butterfly Shaker die set as the focal point of my card and turned it into a shaker. I added Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix to the shaker and Blue Sky Pearls to the top center of the butterfly. For the sentiment, I added the Smile Script die. I finished the card by adding the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix to the center of the flowers on the stenciled background.

My second card features the Layered Butterflies StencilButterfly Shaker die set, and Hugs stamp set (for the sentiment). I applied Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink to the Layered Butterflies A stencil. I applied Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink to the Layered Butterflies B stencil. Next, I added clear embossing ink over the stencil, removed the stencil, added Saltwater Taffy embossing glaze, and heat set it. Next, I added Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink to the Layered Butterflies C stencil.

I die cut a Scallop Circle die from white cardstock and adhered the circle frame and center of the circle to the card layer. I die cut the Butterfly Shaker die set two times using teal cardstock. I added both layers of the butterfly die cut to the center of the scallop circle, only gluing the center of the butterfly. I did not adhere the wings to the card front which gives a beautiful dimensional look. I added the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix to the center of the butterfly. I added the sentiment from the Hugs stamp set to the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!

Whimsical Flat Pinwheels

Hello friends, Gemma here. Today I have a card to share featuring the new Flat Pinwheels and Smile Script die sets. Together, these make a fun and happy card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Flat Pinwheels

I began by die cutting the two smaller size pin wheels from the Flat Pinwheels die set, using polka dot patterned papers. I then layered two together to make my pinwheels. For the centre, I adhered a pearl embellishment to match. For the pinwheel sticks, I die cut some Stitched Strips from Kraft card and adhered them to the back of the pinwheels. The Smile Script die is cut from two layers of white card, with a top layer of pink glitter card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Flat Pinwheels

Next, I worked on the background. On a 5.25” square card base, I blended spun sugar distress oxide around the edge first, then blended some more through the Snowfall stencil to add some details.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Flat Pinwheels

I adhered the pinwheels to the card, followed by the scripty sentiment. For the dot on the ‘i’, I used a Pink Blush pearl. I used Lilac pearls, Sea Foam pearls and Creamsicle pearls for the middles of the pinwheels. They’re the perfect finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed this card. If you’re on Instagram, there will be a reel of how to create this card up very soon.

Technique: Script Dies As Backgrounds

Good morning! It’s Lindsey here today with a cheerful Easter card. There are so many cute stamp sets from the latest release, and I was eager to use them on a card.  I pulled out an older Easter set as well, and they work perfectly together.

Pretty Pink Posh- Technique: Script Dies As Backgrounds

I started by covering my entire card base with the Hoppy Easter Script Dies. Next I stamped lots and lots of images from Easter Signs, Easter Wreath, and Easter Bunnies and used Tombow ABT Pro markers (plus a few random markers in my stash) to do some basic coloring. I always find it helpful to stamp and color more than you think you’ll need.  It makes it easier to make arrangements, takes away the stress if your coloring goes awry on a few, and gives you a head start on another card if you have some leftovers.

Pretty Pink Posh- Technique: Script Dies As Backgrounds

Because all the images blend so seamlessly together, I’ll give you a little breakdown of what I ended up using: Easter Signs Stamp Set (bunny, butterflies, sentiment) Easter Wreath Stamp Set (chick, egg, flowers) Easter Bunnies Stamp Set (carrot basket, carrots, flowers).

After all the images were colored, I cut them with the coordinating dies. Then I arranged a little scene, keeping the “rule of 3” in the back of my mind as I determined color placement. I used varying thicknesses in dimensional foam, so there would be a lot of dimension on the card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Technique: Script Dies As Backgrounds

Though simple in design, this card is packed with cuteness thanks to these darling new stamps and dies. They are the perfect combination for easy, enjoyable crafting!

I hope you were inspired to try this technique! Thanks for stopping by!

Quick and Easy Rainbow Butterflies + Video

Hello crafty friends! It’s Mindy here with you today to share a bright and colorful project featuring the Layered Butterflies stencil.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

For the first layer of the butterflies, I will be ink blending using regular distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, and Wilted Violet. I forget how vibrant and beautiful the regular distress inks are!

Pretty Pink Posh: Quick and Easy Rainbow Butterflies + Video

For the second layer, which adds detail to the wings, I went over the same areas with the same colors. Looking back, I wish I would have gone over it with a darker color because as the ink dried, it faded back a lot and the details didn’t show up as well.

Pretty Pink Posh: Quick and Easy Rainbow Butterflies + Video

The third layer of the stencil adds the body of the butterfly in which I used a dark grey dye ink from my stash.

I needed to break up the background a little so I added small strips of cardstock in colors that matched my background.

Pretty Pink Posh: Quick and Easy Rainbow Butterflies + Video

I finished the card off with a sentiment from Easter Signs stamp set heat embossed in white onto black cardstock.

Although I turned this into a Spring card, I think it would make a great encouragement or birthday card because of its vibrancy.

Hope you enjoyed today’s project and it brightened your day!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 7

Hello crafty friends! It’s Yoonsun here to share a couple of “Happy Easter” cards with the Daffodils set along with the Fancy Easter Script die. So the daffodils products are perfect for the Easter cards.

For the Daffodils on the bottom of the card, I laid the Daffodils stencil onto white cardstock, applied Fossilized Amber & Wild Honey Distress inks to petals, Crushed Olive & Mowed Lawn Distress inks to leaves using blending brushes. I then stamped outlined Daffodils using pale beige dye ink in place, die cut them with the Daffodils coordinating dies – This Daffodils trio is so awesome!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 7

For the sentiment, I used the Fancy Easter Script die. I mounted all elements as shown in the picture, and then decorated the card with Creamsicle & Limeade Pearls.

Here is another Easter card with the beautiful Daffodils.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 6

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a Hoppy Easter card with the cutest Pretty Pink Posh bunny. This is super simple and fun to make. Let’s get started!

Save 15% on all products in the Easter section.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 6

I first cut a panel in light pink cardstock using the Stitched Notes Die. I then ink blended through the Layered Eggs Stencils with Distress Oxide Inks – Kitsch Flamingo + Picked Raspberry, Tumbled Glass + Spun Sugar, and Milled Lavender + Shaded Lilac.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 6

I then stamped the bunny from the Easter Circles Stamp Set on a light pink cardstock and colored with Copic markers – W5/3/1, YG03/00, YR02/00. I cut the circle with the coordinating die and layered it with a stitched circle die in white cardstock. Next, I cut the ornate die in vellum and layered all the pieces together. These extra dies are all part of the Easter Circles coordinating dies

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 6

Next, I cut a 4” x 5.25” panel in white cardstock and a 4.25” x 5.5” panel in pink cardstock. I adhered all the panels  using liquid glue. For the sentiment, I stamped Hoppy Easter from the Easter Wreath Stamp Set on a strip of Kraft cardstock and foam mounted it onto the stenciled panel. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto an A2 sized card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card share.

Easter Theme Week- Day 5

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here.  Today I’m sharing some Easter treat bags that I made using the Easter Circles stamp and coordinating dies. These treat bags were so much fun to make. They can be used as gifts for children, friends, family, and co-workers during Easter or the spring season.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

The Easter Circles stamp set comes with six circles with Easter and spring-themed images inside of them such as an Easter bunny, Easter basket, flower bouquet, Easter eggs, a flower, and a spring chick. I started by stamping my images onto Bristol Smooth cardstock using a black archival ink. I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. The colors I used are listed below.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

Bunny:
Gray, Pale Gray, Orange, Light Green, Light Blue, Blender

Fluorescent Pink, Light Green, Lemon Yellow, Light Blue, Blender

Spring Chick with Egg:

Easter Eggs:

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

I die cut the images with the Easter Circles coordinating dies. Using the stitched circle die, I die cut a piece of solid colored cardstock that matched the colored stamp. Using the label die in the set, I die cut another piece of matching colored cardstock.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

To create the bag toppers, I cut a piece of solid colored cardstock to 4 1/2” x 3 1/8”. I used white pigment ink and the Mini Polka Dot stencil to ink a polka dot pattern on the cardstock. Next, I scored the cardstock at 2 1/4” (along the 4 1/2” side) and folded it in half.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

I added some Easter grass and chocolate eggs to the inside of a 3 inch bag. I used double-sided adhesive tape along the inside bottom and inside top of the bag topper and adhered it to the bag. I added the labels to the top.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!
