Floral Birthday Squares Card Duo
Hello Everyone! It is Zsofi here today on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog with a fun floral card set featuring the new release. I love card designs which are versatile and easy to adapt to any occasion and can be re-made in different colours.
First I die cut the stitched flower from the Stacked Squares die set from a bunch of cardstock scrap. I used 2 shades in each colour family: pink and teal (and now I wish if only I had made purple and yellow too).
Then I die cut the scalloped squares from white cardstock and the smaller stitched squares from kraft. I love that the dies are connected so I got 3 in one go. I needed 6 of them for one design, I simply layered them on top of each other and added a flower in the middle of each.
Next I chose matching patterned papers for each colour from Doodlebug. I used more graphic designs but you can choose whatever your heart desires. I cut 4,25*5,5 inches card fronts and adhered them to A2 sized note cards. I mounted the decorative floral panes with 3D foam squares.
For the sentiments I white heat embossed a line from the Sentiment Strips: Birthday stamp set on thin strips of black cardstock and simply glued them in between the two rows of flowers.
As a finishing touch I used Marshmallow pearls for the flower centers to make them festive.
I wish you liked my card set and got inspired. This design is easy to recreate for any occasion and in any colour.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon,
Zsofia
Such a fun project!
