Sneak Peek: March 2021 Stencils

Hi Friends! It is Dana here today sharing a sneak peek of a few of the amazing new stencils that are part of the new March 8th release at Pretty Pink Posh. There are six new stencils being released and today I will focus on two of them.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2021 Stencils

For my first card, I am using the Scallop Edges Stencil– it’s a two piece stencil pack but I’ll be using “Layer A”. I am in love with the design of this stencil. It is so fun, easy to use, and I love all the possibilities.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2021 Stencils

I started out by creating my card panel. I used dye ink and a blending brush to apply the ink to my card panel. I began at the top of the panel and added one color at a time, moving the stencil down as a new color was added.

For my sentiment, I used the new Fancy Easter Script Die. Don’t you just love the size and font? I ran it through my die cutting machine three times and stacked the die cuts together to give them a little added dimension.

To finish my card I trimmed my panel down and attached it to an A2 card base. I then used a little liquid glue to attach my sentiment. Lastly, I added a few Sparkling Clear Jewels to finish my card.

My next card uses the Spring Flowers Stencil. I am in love with this stencil! It creates the sweetest background.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2021 Stencils

I started my card panel by using stencil B to apply green dye ink to all of the leaves and stems. Next, I used the A stencil to add color to the flowers. I used post it notes to mask off each flower and then used a small blending brush to add my color.

For my sentiment and small flower I used the new Easter Bunnies Set. I stamped my sentiment onto the square die from Party Days coordinating dies. I then ink blended green ink onto the scallop frame before attaching it to my card panel. Don’t you just love this background? It just makes me smile. I think it will make the sweetest baby card too.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my cards and I can’t wait to share with you all of the fun projects I have been working on for this release.

Enjoy your day, Dana

Sneak Peek: Easter Bunnies + Spring Borders + Spring Robins

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a look at some sweet stamp sets from the March 8th release!

I used the new Easter Bunnies and Spring Borders stamp sets on my first card. These two sets work really well together.

Pretty Pink Posh-Sneak Peek: Easter Bunnies + Spring Borders + Spring Robins

On coloured card stock, I embossed two of the Spring Borders with white embossing powder. I adhered these to a square card base.

Next, I stamped and copic coloured images from the new Easter Bunnies stamp set, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Pretty Pink Posh-Sneak Peek: Easter Bunnies + Spring Borders + Spring Robins

I cut a panel of white card and adhered some thin gold card strips along the edges. I then stamped the word ‘wishes’ from a sentiment in the Simple Sentiments stamp set. Above this, I adhered the beautiful Easter die cut word from the new Fancy Easter Script die set.

I added this panel to my card, then my images on top, using foam tape for the bunny, bow and a couple of the flowers. Some Nuvo white blizzard glitter drops to the centre of the flowers adds a little sparkle.

For my second card, I used the new Spring Robins stamp set. I was inspired by a Christmas card I made last year and I recreated the scene for Spring. I stamped images from Spring Robins, along with an Easter egg from Easter Bunnies. I coloured the images with copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the background, I die cut the Mini Storybook 1 die from a square piece of white card. I adhered this panel to a square card base.

I used the same die to cut a piece of patterned paper. On the rectangle piece, I embossed a sentiment from the Easter Bunnies stamp set with gold embossing powder. I then adhered these inner pieces on to my card.

I added some gold thread to the Easter eggs before securing them behind the tree. I then added the images to my card.

I finished by adding some Nuvo white blizzard glitter drops to the centre of the flowers.

Sneak Peek: Mom

Hi everyone, it’s Jane! I’m so excited to be sharing two cards using the new Mom stamp set and coordinating die set which are part of the new Spring Release! They will be available for purchase on March 8th at Pretty Pink Posh.

My first card was inspired by a Japanese Starbucks coffee mug I saw on Pinterest.  The colors and sakura designs from Japan are so beautiful, so I thought I would try and recreate them here.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Mom

To create the first card, I cut a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock using the largest slimline die from the Slimline: Peekaboo Windows dies. The panel was then ink blended using the following distress oxide ink colors: wilted violet, seedless preserves, picked raspberry, kitsch flamingo, worn lipstick, dried marigold and tattered rose.  Next, I used the flowers from Layered Leaves & Flowers stencils and the corresponding distress ink colors to blend in the floral background. A few drops of water was splattered on the background using a thin paint brush to add texture.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Mom

Next, I stamped the letters from the new Mom stamp set using versamark ink and white heat embossed the images.  The letters were then cut the letters for “MOM” using the Mom coordinating dies.  Foam tape added to the die cut letters for dimension. The intricate details were filled in with a white gel pen and coordinating copic marker colors. “Happy mother’s day” sentiment was stamped with black ink on white cardstock and adhered to the front of the letters with liquid glue.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Mom

The beautiful floral images from this set were white heat embossed on a piece of ink blended cardstock (I used the same color inks as for the flowers-listed above).  The images were then die cut using the coordinating Mom die cuts and foam mounted to the front of the card. The entire panel was then mounted to a slimline card base and that finishes this card!

My next card features the same floral stamps from the Mom stamp set. To create this card, I first stamped the flowers and butterflies using copic-friendly black ink on white cardstock. The images were copic colored and die cut using the coordinating dies.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Mom

Using a circle die, I die cut a circle from white cardstock.  Next, I stamped the sentiment “happy mother’s day” from the Mom stamp set. For the background, I used white cardstock and the new Pretty Petals Background die and layered them together to create a pretty textured background for my card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Mom

The center circle image was then adhered to the center of the card using foam tape for dimension. A combination of liquid glue and foam tape were used to arrange the small die cut images in a wreath pattern. Pretty Pink Posh jewels (sea glasspansy purple, pink blush, and buttercream) added for extra sparkle!  The entire card was then adhered to a white A2 card base and that completes the card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you were inspired by these Mother’s Day cards.

Sneak Peek: Daffodils

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share with you a sneak peek of the beautiful new Daffodils stamp set. Daffodils are one of the first joyful signs that spring is on the way and they always make me smile.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Daffodils

I started by creating a background for my card. I blended twisted citron and mowed lawn distress oxide inks on to a white card panel, keeping the ink the lightest towards the centre.

Once this panel was dry, I layered the Layered Bokeh stencils over the top and blended white pigment ink through each one in turn.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Daffodils

I stamped a sentiment from the new Easter Bunnies stamp set. I used Versafine Onyx Black ink, as it stamps well over the oxide ink background. I then adhered the background on a card base.

Next, I stamped images from the new Daffodils stamp set. I coloured them with copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies. In the stamp set, there are images of individual flowers and also a trio of flowers, so it’s easy to make a bouquet of daffodils.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Daffodils

I adhered the leaves and stems directly on my background, followed by a single daffodil flower. Before adding the trio of daffodils, I added a white glitter card frame onto the card. This frame is from the Heart Vines die.

I then adhered the trio of daffodils with foam tape, overlapping the frame slightly. To finish, I added some Pearl White jewels, along with some Nuvo White Blizzard glitter drops to the centre of the daffodils.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Daffodils

This stamp set is so perfect for Spring and Easter. Plus, there is a beautiful stencil that coordinates with it and also works with the coordinating dies.

Thank you for stopping by. We’ll see you tomorrow for another sneak peek!

Sneak Peek: Floral Corners

Hello, crafty friends! Leica here today with a sneak peek of the Pretty Pink Posh March 8th release. I have an A2-sized Mother’s Day card to share, using stamps from the new Floral Corners stamp set. I just love these florals and the design possibilities with this set are endless. Make sure to follow PPP socials for more inspiration from the design team.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Floral Corners

Let’s begin! For the first layer, I die cut the new Pretty Petals Background die in white cardstock. You can hardly see it in this photo, but I promise, in person it adds a beautiful texture. The next layer is the rectangular piece from the Stitched Notes die, ink blended with Picked Raspberry and Tattered Rose distress oxides. I then stamped the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment (from the Mom stamp set) and added black dots with black gel pen.  And finally, I added a scallop frame that was inked in Picked Raspberry to frame the sentiment.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Floral Corners

I then stamped the two floral corners stamps on Neenah 110lb white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Next, I cut the floral elements with their coordinating dies

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Floral Corners

I adhered all the layers down onto the card base with liquid glue. The floral corners were foam mounted for added dimension. Last but not the least, I added Sparkling Clear Jewels here and there to complete this beautiful Mother’s Day card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Floral Corners

These floral stamps are great for any occasion and make the perfect embellishments for your cards and other projects. I hope my card inspires you to use this beautiful stamp set.

Have a great day! Be sure to visit tomorrow for another look at a new stamp set coming in the March 8th release!

Sneak Peek: Spring Eggs

Hi friends! Tammy here today sharing a sneak peek of some of the adorable new products coming to Pretty Pink Posh on March 8th!

For my project, I created a card and matching gift tags, featuring the brand new set, Spring Eggs, such a wonderful set filled with beautifully designed eggs! I combined my project with the Easter Bunnies Stamp Set, since they pair so perfectly together!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Spring Eggs

To create the slimline card, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using the largest die from the Slimline: Peekaboo Windows Dies. I ink blended the background with Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks, then I splattered on some watered down Picked Raspberry with a paintbrush to create some interest. Next, I added a 1 inch strip of cardstock, ink blended with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to create a grassy border. I then added a white scalloped border using the Slimline: Scallop Frames Dies.

I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets: Spring Eggs Stamp SetCoordinating Dies and Easter Bunnies Stamp SetCoordinating Dies

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Spring Eggs

I arranged the images onto my card, using foam tape on some for dimension. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in black ink to complete my card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Spring Eggs

I created some gift tags to coordinate with my card. I absolutely love making handmade gift tags; it’s such a fun way to add a special touch to any gift! To create my tags, I began by cutting two tags from Bristol smooth cardstock using the Scallop Square Tags Dies. I taped off the edges of the tag with washi tape and ink blended the backgrounds with Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo, and Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide inks. Next, I added a grassy border cut from the Nature Essential Dies, and ink blended it with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. I arranged the colored images from Spring Eggs and Easter Bunnies onto the tags and stamped the sentiment in black ink. I punched a small hole in the tags and added some green bakers twine to finish up my project.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Join us tomorrow for a new day of inspiration with the upcoming March 8th release!

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a look at some of the new dies from the January 11th release!

For my first card, I’ve used the Birthday Cake die. This fabulous die is A2 in size and makes it so easy to create fun birthday cards.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

I cut the die twice from white card, layering them together for dimension. I added a gel print distress oxide background to my card base, created with Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Shaded Lilac inks. I then the layered Birthday Cake die on top.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

Colour can be added to the die cut pieces using different colouring mediums. You can also die cut the panel from patterned paper or coloured card for easy paper piecing. I love to use glitter or embossed card too, for some fun texture.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

The sentiment is from the new Let’s Party stamp set. I cut the sentiment into a strip and layered it over some card inked with Wilted Violet distress oxide ink. As a finishing touch, I covered the balloons with Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

On my second card, I used the new Slimline: Peekaboo Windows die set. Slimline cards are really popular and I’m excited that Pretty Pink Posh is releasing two slimline die sets this month.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

The Slimline: Peekaboo Windows set has 6 dies. I love that the largest stitched die is slightly smaller than a standard 8.5 x 3.5 slimline card, leaving a border on my card base. A lovely bonus of this is that it also cuts in my die machine with one pass.

I blended a rainbow of distress oxide inks onto the large die cut panel, then adhered it to my card base.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

Next, I cut the smaller panel die along with the 3-window die from white glitter card. This die set is so versatile – there are many ways to use the dies together or separately. There are also 3 square peekaboo dies included in the set.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

I cut these dies again, this time from white card. I stamped images from the new Party Days stamp set on the squares cut from the dies. I coloured them with copics and adhered the squares in the spaces on my card.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

I have one more card to share today, this time showcasing the new Stitched Gift Card Holders. There are 2 dies in this set. I used the scalloped edge die on my card.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

I cut the die from white card and adhered it on another panel of white card. Make sure not to add adhesive on the flaps as these need to lift up to hold a gift card.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

I used the new Layered Confetti stencils to add an embossed glitter pattern to my panel. I blended  some picked raspberry distress oxide ink to my card base, then layered the embossed panel on top.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

As this is the front of my card, I wanted something to be revealed behind the gift card when it’s removed from the gift card holder. I stamped an image from the new Party Days stamp set, coloured it with copics, then die cut with the coordinating die. I then adhered it on the gift card holder with liquid glue.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Dies

The sentiment is from the new Let’s Party stamp set. I stamped it on a strip of card, inked with picked raspberry distress oxide ink, then adhered it across the card to finish.

We hope that you have been inspired by the sneak peeks this week. Join us tomorrow for the reveal of the new products and to order the complete release bundles!

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Stencils

For my next card I used both the Lattice and the Peonies Stencils. I started my card by using the Lattice Stencil. I applied Distress Oxide Ink in Hickory Smoke to create my card panel.

Sneak Peek: January 2021 Stencils

Next, I used the Peonies Stencil to create my flowers and leaves. I once again used Distress Oxide Ink for all of my blending. I used Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar for the flowers. For the leaves I used Cracked Pistachio. I then used the Peonies Dies (from a previous release) to die cut all of my flowers and leaves. I love the option of having dies to coordinate with the stencil.

Sneak Peek: Valentine Circles

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share with you a sneak peek of the sweet Valentine Circles stamp set that releases January 11th.

Sneak Peek: Valentine Circles

There are 6 circle images in this set and they can be used together or on their own. The coordinating die set also includes a scallop edge with stitching, for a decorative finish.

I love these monkeys together. I stamped them and the cupcake image, coloured them with copic markers, then die cut with the coordinating die. I also die cut some plain circles to go behind each image, for some dimension.

Sneak Peek: Valentine Circles

For my background, I die cut some patterned paper using the previously released Stitched Strip dies. I layered these over some white card die cut strips, for more stability, then adhered them to my card base.

Sneak Peek: Valentine Circles

On my card base, I stamped a sentiment from the previously released Simple Sentiments stamp set. The large Love word is from the new Valentine Hearts stamp set. I love the look of this large stamped word and am so excited that it has a coordinating die. I embossed it with a pink embossing powder and die cut with the coordinating die. As with the circle images, I added some plain die cuts behind it for dimension.

Sneak Peek: Valentine Circles

Finally, I arranged the three images from the Valentine Circles stamp set to finish this fun anniversary card.

I hope you were inspired by today’s card. Stop by tomorrow for a sneak peek at the new stencils!

Sneak Peek: Let’s Party + Party Days

Hi everyone! Jane here today sharing a sneak peek of some products from the amazing release that premiers on January 11th! I’m sharing a look at the Let’s Party and Party Days stamp sets.

Sneak Peek: Let's Party + Party Days

For my first card, I’m featuring the new Party Days stamp set. To start, I created a background by cutting a few small diamonds from the Stitched Diamonds die. The following card stock colors were used (left to right): oyster grey (Ellen Hutson), blush pink (stamp market), apricot (lawn fawn), peach, melon and citrine (stamp market). Next, I arranged the cut diamonds on a piece of white copy paper and glued them down using liquid glue. Then, I used one of the dies from Slimline: Peekaboo Windows to cut the background piece.

Sneak Peek: Let's Party + Party Days

Next, I created a shaker window by cutting a piece of white cardstock using the largest slimline die and medium size die from Slimline: Peekaboo Windows to create a frame. A large piece of acetate was adhered to the back of the panel using liquid glue. The balloons from the new Party Days stamp set was stamped to the front of the acetate frame using black StazOn ink. I drew in the strings using a black fine tip sharpie.

Sneak Peek: Let's Party + Party Days

Then, I stamped a sentiment from the new Let’s Party stamp set and adhered it to the lower left of the card front. The card front was lined with double foam tape to create a shaker and I used 6mm and 3mm sparkling clear sequins to fill the shaker. Everything was adhered to a slimline card base and that completes the first card!

My next card uses these sweet cupcake images from the new party days stamp set.

To start, I created a striped panel using the Simple Strips die and same cardstock colors listed above. The strips were adhered to a piece of copy paper using double sided tape. Next, I cut a large circle from white cardstock using  the largest circle from the Scallop Circles die. Using liquid glue, I adhered the circle to my panel with the strips and cut the overlaying edges away using scissors.

Sneak Peek: Let's Party + Party Days

Images from the Party Days stamp set were stamped using copic friendly black ink and colored using the following copic markers:

Cupcake tops: YR61, R32, R11, R01, RV21, RV10, YG23, YG01, Y000
Cupcake wrapper: C3, C0

Sneak Peek: Let's Party + Party Days

The sentiment from the new let’s party stamp set was stamped on black cardstock using versamark ink and white heat embossed.  Using my paper trimmer, I cut a strip with the sentiment and adhered it to the circle using foam tape.  The cupcake images were cut using the coordinating die and trimmed down using scissors. Foam tape added to the back of the cupcake and they were adhered to the front of the card.  The circle was adhered to a dot pattern paper (this is dot washi tape on white cardstock) and an A2 piece of oyster grey cardstock by Ellen Hutson.  The entire panel was then adhered to an A2 white card base and that completes the card!

Sneak Peek: Let's Party + Party Days

The next card and tag set uses images from the new Party Days and Let’s Party stamp sets. I love how these sets coordinate so well together!  To create the slimline card, I first stamped and white heat embossed a cake from the new Party Days stamp set. The background was then ink blended using the following inks: party dress, bellini, lemongrass, orange twist (all by Catherine pooler), and peach perfect (altenew).  Next, I used a copic marker to add shadows on my cake and a white gel pen used to fill in the white frosting.

Sneak Peek: Let's Party + Party Days

Using the Party Days coordinating dies I cut the image and white center frame. Then, I added strips of colored cardstock to the background and adhered everything down using liquid glue. Next, using versafine black ink, I added confetti from the Let’s Party stamp set. The frame was cut from white card stock using the new Slimline: Scallop Frames die and adhered to the outside of the card.

Sneak Peek: Let's Party + Party Days

For the tag, I white heat embossed an image from the Let’s Party stamp set and ink blended it using the same inks listed above. Next, I cut the largest circle from the Scallop Circles die set using white cardstock and adhered it to the outside of the tag. Sentiment from the Let’s Party stamp set was white heat embossed on black card stock and adhered using foam tape. Then, I used a hole puncher to create a hole at the top for the ribbon to slip though and that finishes the tag!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Stop by tomorrow for more sneak peeks of the amazing new release by Pretty Pink Posh!
