Hi everyone! Leica here today on the PPP Blog. I have a sweet Spring card to share with you all, using the new Spring Jar Stamp Set and the Coordinating Dies. This stamp set is absolutely beautiful and can be used for any and many occasions.
To start, I ink blended an A2-sized white cardstock with Shaded Lilac and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks. I sprayed some water with a bit of white ink for an oxidized effect. Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the florals and jar from the Spring Jar Stamp Set.
I used Copic markers:
Jar – Copic BG10 Label – Copic E41 Leaves – Tombow 249/177/126/133/131 Blues – Copic B01/00/000 Oranges – Copic YR18/16/15
I added highlights with a white pen and arranged the flowers on the card panel. I glued down the jar on the card panel and added foam tape on the back of the flowers for dimension. I then added some Light Orchid Pearls for added interest and lastly, I glued the panel onto an A2-sized side-fold cardstock.
Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. Shaker cards are one of my favorite types of cards to make so I’m super excited to share a spring shaker card I made using the Umbrella Shaker die set. This die set can be used to make cards for spring, Easter, Mother’s Day, birthdays, and more.
Be sure to check out the video to see how I put the umbrella shaker together. I added the Flower Garden Clay Confetti to the inside of the shaker. I love the vibrant colors of the flowers and the leaves in this mix. It’s so pretty!
For the background of my card, I cut a white piece of cardstock with a stitched rectangle die and then inked the bottom right half with pink ink. I was going for a clean and simple look so I wanted to have a lot of white showing on my card. I stamped a sentiment from the Easter Sentiments stamp set in the top right hand corner of the panel.
Using the Spring Foliage die set, I die cut several flowers and some leaves from different color cardstock and inked the edges to add some depth to the die cuts. I added the umbrella shaker upside down in the lower right corner of the card panel and added the flowers and leaves coming out of the umbrella. I added this layer to an A2 size card base (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”).
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day! Lisa Mears

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a Mother’s Day box card. I’m super excited that the Scallop Box Card Die is finally available. This box is very easy to put together, I promise! It’s my new favorite box card die!
For my card, I cut the Scallop Box Card Die pieces in kraft cardstock. I assembled it by folding the perforated tabs and gluing them onto the main piece. Next, I cut the scallop panels in white cardstock and ink blended them with Old Paper Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect.
Once dry, I stamped the “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment on the front scallop panel of the card.
I then stamped, colored and cut the images from the Flower Garden Stamp Set. Here are the colors that I used:
Lastly, I glued the images onto the inserts of the box to make a beautiful Spring garden scene.
Isn’t this box card die so fun? I can see myself using it over and over again, because it is easy to assemble and just so much fun to fill with your favorite stamps and dies. I know you will love this as much as I do!
Good morning, Lindsey here and I’m super excited to share today’s projects with you. I often sketch and plan before I create something, but these just sort of tumbled out in one creative marathon. Once I got started the ideas just kept flowing. All of these critters were created using the Winter Mug Die and the Easter Mug Additions with a couple exceptions that I will note, but I’m getting ahead of myself…
The Easter Mug Additions were created to build the cutest chicks and bunnies. I made a few different varieties similar to what I had seen on the mock up and then decided to experiment. I started small with this bunny. I combined a couple of the eyes and used the flower die to make a tail.
Then the wheels started turning and it occurred to me that I could probably create other animals. I realized a floppy eared bunny could easily be a dog if I just added a tail (the center of the bunny’s ear).
and some paws…
I had made this chubby chick a little earlier…
And found that a chicken was just a small step from a chick if I simplified the design, swapped the colors, and added its head feathers on the diagonal.
By this time my daughter had noticed the little animals that I was creating and was loving them. Her favorite animal is a cow, so I was determined to make one.
A couple years ago I made a cow cake for her birthday, and since the mug had a similar shape to the tall cake, I knew it could be done. I used the chick’s belly and the centers of the flowers for the cow’s nose. The chick’s feathers turned down became a tuft of hair, and I used the chick feet and heart shaped nose for the cow spots. I even used the inside layer of the bunny’s ears for the horns.
The only thing I had to outsource was the ears. I found them in leaves from the Spring Foliage dies.
Now that I had the right ears, a horse was the natural next step.
And you could easily swap out the colors to grey to make a donkey.
Now that I had a whole farm going, I knew I had to figure out a pig. I tried to use just the dies from the Easter Mug Additions, but ultimately gave in to the fact that I needed to look elsewhere. I found just what I need in the Valentine Mug Additions.
I used the strawberry chocolate coating for ears, the oval chocolate for his nose, the swirled icing for his tail, and the negative centers of the swirl for the nostrils.
These little farm animal mugs are ready to add to a card or be used as a tag or a little lunch box note. My kiddos have already claimed their favorites. I’m curious…which one is your favorite?
Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope I’ve encouraged you to look at your dies with fresh eyes. Creating these was loads of fun!
Hi friends, it’s Jeanne here. Spring is in the air! And with the weather getting warmer my mind has been turning to thoughts of gardening. We always plant lots of veggies, but my favorites are always the flowers! They’re a feast for the eyes!
I love the new Spring Jar stamp set because there are lots and lots of beautiful bloom shapes to play with! Paulina knew these flowers were so sweet that they’d attract a lot of attention so she included a little bee, a butterfly and even a cute smiling spider!
I always stamp at least 10 of each flower and then color them different shades. Once they’re cut out all that’s left is the arranging them! The jar label and three different sentiments make this card quick and easy to assemble.
For the background I applied three shades of Distress Ink to a panel of cardstock (Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade and Kitsch Flamingo). I used colors that would match the flowers only in softer shades. I topped the panel with a Lattice Background die – the perfect garden setting – before adding the jar and colorful blooms.
These flowers are just for you! I hope they brighten your day!
For my card, I started by ink blending through the Grid Stencil on a 4.5” square white cardstock with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed the panel with water that has a bit of white ink. Once dry, I stamped the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment directly on the card panel.
Next, I stamped, colored and cut the wreath, flowers, and ribbon from the Leafy Spring Wreath Stamp Set. I used Copic markers: R22/21/20/00, YG23/21. I foam mounted the wreath onto the card panel for dimension and also foam mounted the Mom/Mother Hot Foil in the center of the wreath. By the way, I used the Pewter foil and cut the “Mom” with the Mom/Mother Shadow.
I glued some Marshmallow Pearls here and there for added interest. And lastly, I glued the card panel onto a side-fold 4.5” square white card base.
Have you tried hot foiling yet? I’m new to hot foiling and never thought I would enjoy it. I make sure to foil extras while the machine is hot and I save the sentiments for future cards. That way I don’t have to pull out the machine every time I need a sentiment. I hope you’ll give it a try (if you haven’t joined the hot foil craze already).

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am so excited to share this card using the new Spring release. The Umbrella Shaker Dies and Layered Umbrellas Stencils are just so perfect together! I love that the window die for the Umbrella is separate so you can easily make a shaker, but also have an umbrella die for other types of projects.
I like to start with stenciling to ensure my background has plenty of time to dry while I’m creating the rest of the card. Using Layered Umbrellas, I stenciled the solid umbrella layer with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide, the polka dot and stripe details with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide, the shaft and top with Lost Shadow Distress Oxides and finally the raindrops with Clear Skies Lunar Paste.
While the Lunar Paste was drying, I stamped flowers and butterflies from the Love Stamp Set and Mom Stamp Set in a light grey, alcohol marker friendly ink. I used my Ohuhu Art Markers for a no-line coloring look. I die cut them all out using the Love and Mom Coordinating die sets.
The sentiment was hot foiled with the Hot Foil Large Hugsand silver foil onto some light purple cardstock. I used the Large Hugs Shadow Dieto cut my sentiment. I also did my die cutting from the Umbrella Shaker Dies: the umbrella out of the same light purple cardstock as well as acetate, the umbrella with windows out of purple cardstock, the shaft of the umbrella out of grey cardstock and the handle out of kraft cardstock.
I assembled the shaker with all of the Umbrella Shaker die cut pieces and filled it with the new Flower Garden Mix. The stenciled background is trimmed down to 4×5-¼” and layered onto an A2 piece of purple cardstock attached to a card base. After I laid out my card with the shaker, sentiment and stamped images how I think it would look best, I adhered everything down with wet glue with a few of the flowers popped up with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed this shaker and it gives you some inspiration for an “April showers” kind of card!

Hi, friends, it’s Lindsey here today. The new Easter Mug Additions dress up the Winter Mugs in the cutest ways, but today I wanted to share another fun way to use them. They pair perfectly with the previously released Easter Basket Dies and make the most darling Easter basket tags!
I started by creating a little chick Easter Basket using the Easter Mug Addition dies. As I have been creating with these dies I have realized that a single tiny die has a lot of creative possibilities. For example, I used the same die for both the feet and the wings. Adding a little dimensional foam to the wings and feet really brings the basket to life.
Once my chick was finished I set out filling my basket. I added a layer of grass using theNature Essentials diesand a darker scalloped layer using a die in the Easter Basket die set. Then I die cut and added glitter glue to the eggs from the Easter Mug Additions. I topped the basket off with a layered bow that I created by combining the bow in the Easter Mug Additions with a slightly larger bow with tails from theBuild a Gift Dies.
Now on to the bunny basket! All of the pieces I used to create the bunny are from the Easter Mug Additions except I hand cut the whiskers. I decided to keep the bow a little simpler on this one, so I just added a single marshmallow pearl to a bow from the Build a Gift Dies.
This time I filled my basket with carrots. I thought a little variety would be fun, so some of the carrots have single leaves, some have doubled leaves, and some have larger greenery that I cut using the Spring Foliage dies.
I have to say that these basket tags make me smile again and again. I hope they make you smile, too! I can’t wait to use them for Easter!
