Monochromatic Fringe Egg

Hi friends, Debbie here with the new Fringe Egg Die Set from the Easter Release! This release is incredibly adorable, with all the fun eggs, bunnies and chicks!

So to start off, I started building my Robin Blue Fringe Egg. With a panel of white card stock I ink blended on Gina K Ocean Mist ink, then I splattered on the ink. Next, with Dr. PH Martin’s Bleedproof Paint splattered more! Once it was dry I die cut out the Fringe Egg layers. Next, I die cut out four times of each of the layers from a matching card stock.

I now realize I want my card to be monochromatic. So with  the new Tiny Bows Stencil I ink blended on a white panel with the Ocean Mist ink. After I was done I lifted the stencil off and with the remaining ink on the brush I lightly blended over the panel.

Next, I die cut out some blue vellum with the Wonky Stitched Squares Dies. Attach  the Fringe egg to the top of the vellum and then to the Tiny Bow panel.

Next, I stamped out the sentiment from the Upright Greetings: Easter stamp set with the matching ink on white card stock. Die cut it out with the flag die from the Sentiment Strips die set. Attach the two dies by overlapping them. I knew I wanted to make the Arsenia Bow! It is fringy so I knew it would be a great look for my egg. And I love how it all came together!

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
