Good morning Pretty Pink Posh friends! Heather here this morning with a look at the newest free-with-purchase stamp set at Pretty Pink Posh called Butterfly Friends – as well as a couple of the dies and sequin mixes that are part of the new release! This new stamp set and coordinating dies will be free with a qualifying purchases in January 2018, while supplies last! I’m showing one card layout two ways – a shaker card, and what I call a “faux shaker”!
The Butterfly Friends stamp set is kind of fun and unique because a couple of the butterflies have a solid image that can be stamped with colored ink to “color” the butterfly without markers or pencils – although you can also do that if you prefer. The others are perfect for coloring and shading. I used all the butterflies in the set for my cards – it’s fun how well they work together too!
I also adhered the butterflies for lots of dimension. I folded up the wings, then applied adhesive just to the centers. That way the butterflies pop up in such a realistic way – so fun!
For both cards, I also used the new Storybook 6 dies – for the first one I die cut it then trimmed the edges down to form a shaker. I did a bit of watercoloring with distress inks to create a background, and filled my shaker with the new Spring Blooms Mix. I stamped the solid butterflies with Distress Oxide ink in Seedless Preserves, then used coordinating Copics to color the remaining butterflies. I die cut just the word “hello” from the new Hello Friend Script die(love that those two words work together or on their own!).
My second card, I again used the Storybook 6 die, only this time I cut it out of a panel of white cardstock that I had inked with distress in, then again from white cardstock – fitting in the white pieces with foam adhesive to pop them up a bit. Then, to create the “faux” shaker on this card, I smeared a good bit of Ranger Multi-matte Medium on the bottoms of each panel, sprinkled on some of the new Party Time Mix (pressing it down to adhere it well), then shook off the excess. Once that dried, I adhered the die cut “hello” and the butterflies – this time the solid ones were stamped with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink and the rest again colored with coordinating Copics.
Don’t all these butterflies have you longing for spring? I know they are making me look forward to it soon!
The free Butterfly Friends stamp set will be automatically sent with orders over $60 once the new release goes live. In addition, if your order totals over $75, you’ll get the coordinating dies too! This stamp set will be available for purchase in May 2018, but for those who qualify, you’ll get these items four months before anyone else!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!!!
Well hello friend! It’s a great day because there’s more new to share from the upcoming Pretty Pink Posh January 10th release! Today I’m playing with the new Pretty Petunias stamp set and Hello Friend Script die.
I started by stamping the Pretty Petunias in Memento Ink and coloring them with Copic Markers. The coordinating die set makes cutting them out a breeze!
I experiment with different arrangements using a piece of clear plastic the size of a card base. I can arrange the flowers without committing and adhering them to the card base. Because the sheet is clear I can also place my floral arrangement over different colored backgrounds seeing what the completed project will look like.
This card has a simple distress background of Milled Lavender. I splashed the inked background with water, and then again with watered down Seedless Preserves. Lastly I gave it a splash of white ink.
If you look close you’ll see some of the flowers and leaves are adhered to the card base while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape to add dimension. I topped the flowers with the Hello Friend Script die cut from gold foil, and gold glitter paper adhered together.
Do you love the Pretty Pink Posh Storybook dies? If you said yes, then you’re going to love the new Storybook 6 die!
Storybook dies are a fun and easy way to set the scene for your stamped images. You can insert figures into the die cut windows to tell a story, or use the die cut lines to define spaces like I did .
I stamped images from Birthday Friends with Memento Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. The coordinating die cuts make these easy to cut and create with. I left each of the die cut boxes white so they didn’t have to compete with the bright colors of the stamped images.
The Birthday Friends stamp set has several different characters complete with lots of accessories!!! Like what? Well… A birthday cake, cupcake, presents and balloons so there’s lots of ways to arrange these!
We hope you’ve enjoyed the sneak peeks these last few days. Be sure to visit the blog tomorrow as we reveal the free stamp set that will be included with qualifying orders this month, while supplies last. It’s a fun set that we know you’re going to love!

Hi there! Lexa here today with a sneak peek for the new release, I promise you that it will be an awesome one! This brand new stamp called Birthday Scene is adorable beyond words. Let’s get started…
First I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Versafine black ink then watercolor them using Distress Markers. I turned a bear into panda, it’s just a matter of how you color it. To frame the little scene I use Scallop Frames Dies on yellow cardstock. For this Birthday Scene, I want it to be colorful and festive so I add some Metallic Gold Confetti. This is just such a happy card!
I bet you all can’t wait any longer to see full reveal of the new release, just believe me that you will LOVE them! Thank you so much for stopping by today. Join us tomorrow for another round of sneak peeks.
Hello Pretty Pink Posh Friends! I was recently visiting my mother and she gave me her wonderful collection of Valentine ephemera. I love vintage cupids and this little Cupid Friends stamp set reminds me of the vintage ones. Today I’ll be showing you two new stamp sets to make Valentines – both the Cupid Friends and the Love Sentiments set that releases on January 10th.
I have two cards to share with you today. The first card is a shaker card that uses Cupid Friends and Fly a Kite stamps and dies. I started with the largest Window Frames die to create my card base and shaker window.
I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the opening with red embossing powder. I then used some of the new heart confetti, Iridescent Heart Confetti Mix and Red Mini Heart Confetti, inside the shaker window.
Next, I stamped the two clouds from Fly a Kite and the two cupids from Cupid Friends with light colored ink for a no-line look. I colored them in with Copic markers, added shading with colored pencils, added fine black lines around them to outline, and then die-cut them out with the matching Cupid Friends Dies and Fly A Kite Dies. I layered the cupids over the clouds on the top and bottom of the card.
To finish the card, I glued some of the same heart sequins over the background and on the clouds.
My next card uses the new Storybook 6 die for the background. I am so in love with all of the Storybook dies as they create the perfect windows for stamped images or shakers AND I always use the inside pieces for my sentiments on cards.
I die-cut the Storybook 6 die from the center of a pink card base. I die-cut a second one from white cardstock to use for the inside pieces. I then used the new Love Sentiments stamp set for the stamped hearts and the sentiment. I embossed them with pink embossing powder on the two rectangular inside pieces of the die.
I attached a piece of white cardstock underneath the front of the card and then glued the four pieces to the white cardstock. I then embossed the little hearts in the Cupid Friends stamp set over the pink cardstock.
I stamped the two cupids with black ink and colored them in with Copic Markers and shaded with colored pencils. One of my Christmas gifts was a new set of Prismacolors, so I wanted to try them out and they work well over Copics! I finished the card with some of the new sequin mix called Spring Blooms.
Ever since I was a child I have loved making homemade Valentines and these two sets are so perfect for my cards. Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you are enjoying your new year!
Hello everyone, Joni here sharing some sneak peaks of upcoming products from our upcoming January 10th release! For these projects I used the new Pretty Petunias stamp set, Pretty Petunias Coordinating Dies. The new Hummingbird Thanks stamp set and Hummingbird Thanks Coordinating Die set.
To begin my card, I first stamped the images from Pretty Petunias Stamp set and Hummingbird Thanks Stamp set on a watercolor paper. Then watercolor each image then die-cut each image with its coordinating die set.
For the background, I simply distressed a white cardstock with Distress Ink in Evergreen Bough and Peeled Paint. Then, splattered with some water and added some of gold paint from Gansai Tambi Starry Colors.
For my next project, I simply just used the Pretty Petunias Stamp set, and Coordinating Die set.
To begin, I first stamped my images on a white cardstock and color them with Copic Markers and die-cut with Pretty Petunias Coordinating Die set. The “friend” die-cut is new. It’s from the Hello Friend Script Die Set. The “friend” was die-cut three times and colored with Copic Markers.
For the background, I distressed it with Distress Ink in Barn Door and Papertrey Ink Melon Berry.
These flowers have lots of possibilities, I added some white dots to give it more interest. I also die-cut a strip of melon berry cardstock using the Scallop Borders 1 to complete the look.
I hope you enjoyed my take on these goodies. Remember the Pretty Pink Posh will be opening up again on January 4th and we’ll continue to have sneak peeks leading up to our release on January 10th!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Until next time…
