Hello, Gemma here and I have a card to share today featuring the beautiful Hummingbird Thanks and Pretty Petunias – such a perfect combination! The images from these sets are fun to colour and offer so many possibilities. I’ve really been inspired by all the fabulous colour combos I’ve been seeing!
I stamped all the images first, then coloured them with copic markers. I chose some blue violets for the petunias, to help bring in some more of the purple from the hummingbirds. I brushed some Wink of Stella clear glitter on to the hummingbirds and added some black glaze pen dots to the eyes. Some glitter gel pen dots on the petunias are fun for extra sparkle.
I cut out all the images using the coordinating dies, then put them aside to work on the background. On a white card base, I blended on some salty ocean distress oxide ink, fading out the colour towards the top. I then flicked it with water for some droplet details.
Next, I cut two smaller white card panels for the front of the card. When placed at the top and bottom of the card base, this leaves a gap in between to reveal the lovely panel of colour. I stamped a sentiment, from the Hummingbird Thanks stamp set, on the bottom panel, then I added them both to the card base with foam tape.
I arranged the flowers and leaves on top of the blue background, tucking them under the bottom panel and securing with tape. For the flower on the right, I used a little foam tape towards the top so it could overlap and adhere to the top panel too.
I then added the hummingbirds, flying down from the top of the card towards the flowers. I love the sense of movement they have! I finished my card with a few of my favourite Sparkling Clear Sequins.
I hope you were able to get these wonderful stamps- they were just restocked but they are going quickly!
Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I have three thank You cards to share with you all using the same stamp set for all, along with the same sentiment die but adding a few other dies in to change up the design each time. Thank you cards are so important after the holidays and honestly, all year round so I love to have a lot of hand as I’m always in need of them.
For my sentiment, I used the Thank You Script die and positioned it into the centre of my die cut panel. I then used a foam mat, placed it underneath the cardstock, and ran it through my Big Shot Machine like I would an embossing folder. This creates an impression of the die cut, rather than cutting through. Now that my panel has been embossed with the die cut sentiment, I used the Kuretake Gansai Starry Colours Watercolour Set and painted in the Thank You sentiment with a gold watercolour. I dried that with a heat tool and assembled my card. I adhered my flowers on with foam tape and adhered my leaves with flat adhesive. I then popped up the entire panel onto fun foam and then onto a card base that I covered with blue striped patterned paper and that finished up my first card.
For my second card, I started out with the rest of the colouring for my next two cards. I stamped down a ton of images onto some more watercolour cardstock using black ink this time and clear heat embossing over the top and used the same Zig Clean Colour Markers for my images. For my second card I used No. 33 Persian Green, No. 31 Cobalt Blue, No. 42 Turquoise Green and No. 41 Light Green. Once all my images were coloured, I die cut them out with the coordinating dies and moved on to my shaker. I’m using the Window Frames Dies, and I cut out the largest one out of some white cardstock. I set the negative piece aside and coloured the positive piece using Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, fading it into white.
Next, I added a piece of acetate onto the back of my negative piece using some scor tape and then added foam tape all around the edges to create a seemless well for my sequins to sit in. Next, I grabbed a white card base, adhered down my positive window frame piece, the added some Mermaid Mix Sequins onto the arched piece. I then removed the foam tape backers and adhered my panel over top. I then adhered my flowers at the bottom of my arched piece with foam tape and then adhered my leaves with flat adhesive. For my sentiment, I used the same thank you die, I adhered some stick it onto the back of some white cardstock, then cut it out and adhered it on top of my sequin shaker window. That finished up my second card, now let’s move onto the last card.
For my third card, I again started off with my coloured images. For this colour combo, I used No. 50 Yellow, No. 25 Pink, No. 202 Peach Pink and No. 41 Light Green. I set off my flowers and leaves to the side and moved onto die cutting I used the Scallop Ovals Dies and cut the largest one out of white cardstock. I set it off to the side, then used Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink to ink blend lightly into the centre of another piece of watercolour cardstock. I then sprinkled on some water, picked it up with a paper towel and dried it off with a heat tool. Next, I die cut the Thank You die cut from some more white cardstock and adhered it to the centre of my panel.
Next, I added foam tape onto the back of my scalloped oval and adhered that around my sentiment, then I adhered my flowers surrounding my oval/sentiment with foam tape and adhered my entire panel onto a piece of blue water-coloured paper.
Good morning! Heather here this morning, and I’m excited to be starting off the new year with a new tutorial theme – Something Old, Something New! I thought it would be fun to mix together both some brand new products, and some older ones – to show how AMAZINGLY well Pretty Pink Posh products work together! Today, I’ve used the brand newLove Shaker Die and Love Sentiments Stamp Set, with with the adorable Happy Snowman and Happy Owl stamps and dies! I also used the brand newRed Mini Heart Confetti.
I had the idea of making a snowman couple for a Valentine’s Card – it wasn’t until I got to the end of the card that I thought of adding the hat and bow from Happy Owl stamp set – that’s why they aren’t included in the tutorial photos!
First up, I stamped the snowpeople and their scarfs, using red ink to fill in the scarf with the polka dot pattern. I did a bit of soft coloring with Copics as well.
Next up, I heat embossed my sentiment in white on a strip of black cardstock, and then stamped one of the hearts from Love Sentiments Stamp Set, using the solid image to stamp in the same red as the scarfs for continuity. Since this stamp set doesn’t have dies, I just fussy cut out that little heart.
Next, I built the shaker element. I die cut theLove Shaker Die from turquoise pattern paper, then trimmed a piece of acetate just smaller than the heart. I backed it with acetate, and then used some thin foam strips(that were just added to the PPP Shop!) around the edges.
I filled it with the new Red Mini Heart Confetti, and added another piece of acetate to the back to make a complete shaker element.
Then it was simply a matter of assembling the card! I adhered the shaker element to the top, and the black sentiment strip with foam adhesive at the bottom, then added the snowpeople in between.
At this point, I realized that hat and bow from Happy Owl would be a perfect fit and addition, so I added those, then added the heart in the center of them, with some twine to make it look like they were holding a banner with a heart between them!
This card also uses one of my favorite color schemes – something about turquoise and red is so fun together!!!

I chose a color scheme for the card that could be used or a either a birthday boy or a birthday girl.
I colored the images with Copic Markers and used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen to add glitter to the cake frosting. I added the polka dots to the dress with a white gel pen. Then I die cut the images with theBirthday Friends Coordinating Dies.
Next I cut the newStorybook 6 Die twice, once from a patterned paper, that was cut to fit the card front, and once from watercolor paper. On the patterned paper I stamped a sentiment from theBirthday Friends Stamp Set in black ink. On the watercolor paper I sponged on distress ink and spritzed the paper with water.
On the back of the card front I added foam tape. The foam tape adds dimension to card and leaves me a little space to attach the stamped images.
I inlayed the watercolor squares and rectangles into the card front and the attached the stamped images using foam tape.
The card is finished of with a few pieces from theSparkling Clear Confetti Mix.Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day.
Hello, friends! Marge here today and I’m sharing two shaker cards with stamping and coloring on acetate films.
As shown in the picture, I colored flowers on an acetate film using alcohol markers so that you can give stained glass effects to your cards.
Here are supplies for today: acetate film, StazOn ink, alcohol swab, stamps and dies from Pretty Pink Posh.
To begin, I trimmed a sheet of acetate film into 3.75×5 inch, then stamped Pretty Petunia on it using a jet black StazOn ink. Then I erased a part of stem & leaves using an alcohol swab, then stamped a sentiment from Love Sentiments into the empty space.
I then turned the film upside down, and started coloring on the back of stamped images.
At first, I tried Copic markers for coloring, but they didn’t look bright on the acetate film, so I changed to Altenew Artist Markers, which are also alcohol based. Since the Altenew markers have larger nibs and are more juicy than Copics, I found it easier with the Altenew markers.
After I finished coloring, I found that the petunias shape fit very well into the Storybook 1 die frame. So I changed my plan from making a large rectangle window to making partitioned windows for shakers.
I always feel delightful when I put sequins into the shaker pouch and I love the iridescent shimmering look of the sequins.
Here are the two finished cards.
Except for coloring on the acetate film, the whole process is very simple.
Tips
1. Coloring on acetate film using alcohol markers is very tricky. So don’t try to be perfect. Use deep colors rather than light ones. When you brush markers, do it in the same direction before the previous brush stain dries up. That will minimize brushstrokes.
2. Mix seed beads with cupped sequins when you make shakers. Your shaker will look prettier and sound cheerful.
3. When you use MISTI for stamping on acetate film, use masking tape to keep the film from moving. The magnets won’t keep it in the same position while you stamp and open the MISTI door because the surface of the clear stamps is too sticky.
4. Color numbers of markers I used are R206, R217, B227, B016, G554 (shown below)
Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I have a card to share with you using some items from the new release and included in this release is a special offer to get a un-released stamp and die set with qualifying purchases. This set is Butterfly Friends and it’s so super cute. It comes with different designs of butterflies, both solid and outline along with a sentiment. You can get the stamp set with a $60 purchase and you also have the opportunity to get the coordinating die set too with a $75 purchase, while supplies last. For my card, I’ll be using the new Party Time Mix as my colour scheme and I’ll also be creating a multi shaker card.
To begin my card today I first went ahead and pulled out the sequin mix called Party Time. It comes with Marigold, Pink Peonies, Navy and Orchid coloured sequins. So I’m basing my entire card colour scheme on this mix. So I then coloured three bits of watercolour cardstock with Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey and Seedless Preserves Distress Ink, then I used the Stacked Edges 1 dies to cut the wavy border out of the coloured cardstock. Next up, I coloured my images. I used the Butterfly Friends stamp set and stamped down three of the outline butterflies onto some white cardstock and also the ‘friend’ sentiment from the set also. I then used coordinating colours from the sequin mix to colour my butterflies in. Once they were coloured, I used the coordinating to cut out the images along with the sentiment.
Next up, I used another piece of white cardstock, cut it down to 3 ½” wide by 4 7/8” tall and used the new Storybook 6 die to cut out the middle of my panel. I used this one in particular since it had four sections and my sequin mix had four different colours in there. Once I cut it out, I turned it over, adhered a piece of acetate and then went around the entire piece with foam tape to divide all the sections for the different wells for my sequins. I then used the positive pieces of the die cut so the two rectangles and two squares and coloured them up using the same colours of Distress Ink I did before, but adding in Chipped Sapphire to complete the four colours of the mix. Now that all my elements for my card were done, I scored a card base that measures 4” wide by 5 ½” tall and adhered down my Stacked Edges 1 pieces into the middle of my card base. Next, I adhered down my inner pieces from the Storybook 6 dies flat onto my card base as well.
Next up, I pulled the individual colours of sequins out of the mix and laid them overtop with their corresponding colour. I then removed the backers off my foam tape on my panel and adhered it over top. I then added foam tape onto the back of my butterflies and adhered them around my card also. To finish off my card, I used the Bear Hugs stamp set and white heat embossed the ‘For You’ sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock. Then I added more foam tape on the back and adhered it to the centre of my card.
So that finishes up my card today, I love using the sequin mixes as inspiration for colour schemes because most of the time, at least for me they’re colour combos I would have never thought of and it’s always nice to use different colours that I maybe normally wouldn’t use. This is Yana and today I am sharing video tutorial showing how to color petunias from the Pretty Petunias stamp set for a no-line look!
Since violet is the color of this year and because I happen to love this color quite a bit I decided to color my petunias violet. I started working on my card by stamping images I wanted to use in watermark ink onto light gray cardstock panel. I knew I wanted to use the large flower duo and also add additional flowers and leaves to make this cluster a bit fuller. I am very lazy when it comes to masking, I was planning to use masking for today’s stamping, but later ended up not making them and I simply stamped my images in watermark ink overlapping previously stamped layers.

I picked embossing watermark ink, but any pale ink color will do for this technique – just make sure to pick the color of ink you’ll be able to color over with the pencils you plan to use – and you can always test this on the back side of your paper. Use it as your palette, I always do so.
As I was stamping I made notes in my head which flowers and leaves were going to be in the front and which would be in the back. If you struggle with this – you can either mask your images so that you don’t have confusing stamped lines on your panel or test stamp your cluster onto a piece of scrap paper and label everything – then when you go to color your image you can use that as a cheat sheet.
The pretty Petunias stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh has very little detail to it and this is a good thing, because as you color, regardless of what coloring method you chose, you can add those details in yourself.
I used Polychromos colored pencilsto color this images and I went with just a handful of pencils. I sharpened my pencils prior to starting an first used the blue violet color and outlined the base of the petal, added vines and slight details on the tip of the petal.
It is very helpful to look up the image you are coloring online. I simply go to Pinterest and type in Petunias. I look at photos, sometimes I search for illustrations, I can also add the name of the coloring medium I plan to use to look up examples. For instance petunias watercolor, or petunias pencils – it is very helpful to see how others have colored it – this will give you color combo ideas, detail ideas.
I added my pencil strokes going in one direction – I followed the imaginary vines of the petal. I don’t color in circles or horizontal and vertical lines. To blend out the violet color and color the rest of the petal I used a white pencil. I went over the violet coloring and extended it further into the petal. Next, I came in with the violet pencil again and added more details to the particular element.
I don’t use any blending solutions when I color, I only blend the using my pencils and as I get to the end of the blending I use a very heavy hand.
Once my coloring was complete I trimmed my panel to 4 x 5 1/4″. To create a sentiment I white heat embossed Hello Gorgeous from the Love Sentiment stamp set onto vellum. I trimmed it into a skinny strip, wrapped one end around the panel and cut the other end at and angle. I foam mounted the panel onto an A2 card base and added sequins from the Spring Blooms Mix to embellish this card.

Have you seen the new Love Shaker die? I think this die is so versatile. It’s more than a shaker die – it’s a gorgeous frame too! I can envision lots of pretties (sparkling sequins) peeking through the open frame design – but I can see this pretty die layered over photographs on a layout too.
I created an ombre background with the scalloped border from the Stacked Edges 1 die set. I wanted to repeat the scallops on the Love Shaker die. I love the colorful stripes of red and pink card stock peeking through!
To accent the heart I added Cupid Friends that were stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copic Markers. I’m smitten with these little guys! They’re easy to color, and the coordinating die cut makes them a breeze to cut too!
I love the stitching, scallop outline, and gorgeous hand written font on the Love Shaker die – the perfect details I expect from Pretty Pink Posh! Paulina never disappoints!

Then I adhered Birthday Friends Images on the front using foam tapes. I also put a small star tag on the left upper corner of the card usingStitched Stars Dies to give it more cuteness .
1) For brown hair colors , my favorite copic color combination is : E13-E15-E18- any dark E (from light to dark shades)
2) When you put sequins to make shaker cards, try to mix the sequins with some seed beads like I did today. That will make your shakers look prettier.
3) Although this is not the Christmas season, I found that our snowflake sequins look so well on the soft color-distressed background.
