Creating Cards with Border Stamp + Video

Good morning! It’s Ardyth and I’m excited to be back on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog and YouTube channel with three cards I made using one border stamp from the new Love Borders set.

And once you have an idea that works, it’s always fun to explore where it can go – I ended up with 3 cards that are similar but different – here’s a video.

One day, I had a big to-do list of cards to make, but no ideas for starting. When I’m in that situation, I find that the best thing to do is to just sit down and stamp something. Anything. Sometimes that first attempt ends up in the recycling bin, but often it sparks another, bigger idea and that’s what happened here!

I used the border stamp to create a seamless pattern background. By using 2 different colours of ink each time I stamped, I ended up with a smoother transition through the colours than if I had stamped the full stamp each time in a different colour.
