Good morning! It’s Lindsey here, and I’m excited to be kicking things off with Valentine Theme Week! Pretty Pink Posh has lots of fabulous Valentine products to choose from and my projects today combine several older and newer items.

My littlest child completely influenced today’s projects. She has started making cards herself and loves to look through my stamps. Her favorites are always the cute critters, so I let her choose the ones she liked the best for her preschool valentines. I put these ones together, but she will most definitely be helping me make the rest.  

I created the valentines using the new Sweet Note die. I just love it! You can get three Sweet Notes from one 8.5×11 sheet of paper with a little leftover. After I cut valentines in several colors, I embossed the main outside panel on each with the heart from All My Love.

Then I die cut and attached a flag from Stitched Labels 1 to each note. The critters came next. 

Based off my little one’s favorites, I stamped and embossed several animals from Heart Critters and Sending Love. Then I used zig clean color real brush markers to color them. I hadn’t used these markers in a while, and it was fun to revisit them. After all the images were colored, I cut them out using the coordinating dies and popped them up with some dimensional foam. 

A little sprinkling of hearts from the Valentine’s Day and Sweet Love clay confetti mixes and the fronts were done.

I kept the backs simple but couldn’t help adding a little cuteness by stamping, die cutting, and layering different hearts from the Valentine Hearts stamp set.  

I attached the hearts to the center of the notch.  They look cute, and they also add a little extra security to keep the note closed if you tuck a treat inside.  

Speaking of treats, I was delighted to see that individual fruit snacks (or any snack/fun size candy package) fit perfectly inside the folded Sweet Note.  

Normally I would have decorated the inside of the note as well, but my little one is just learning how to write and she’ll need all that space to sign her name, so I left it blank. :)

Hello, friends! Lindsey here with another Valentine card showcasing the new Valentine Mug Additions. Once you start creating with these new dies, you are not going to want to stop! The creative options are endless! I must have had Christmas baking still on my mind, because I decided to go all out with my strawberry decorating on my next card. It was all the fun of baking, but a whole lot less messy. ;)

I created milk and white chocolate coated and sugar dusted strawberries and candies. Some are sprinkled with confetti made with the tiny hearts in the Valentine Mug Additions dies and others are sprinkled with the Valentine’s Day Mix clay confetti.

I also wanted to show some of the fun ways these dies mix and match. For instance, the chocolate drizzle is equally good for adorning the candies as well as the strawberries. The whipped cream dollop can also double as a meringue cookie. 

A bit more about how this card came together.  I started with a white card base then added a second layer, blending on pink stripes using the Pinstripe Stencil. Next, I framed the striped panel with two layers of the Slimline: Peekaboo Window Dies. A happy discovery was that the second smallest square in the new Wonky Stitched Square Dies fits perfectly inside the windows.  

I popped up my sugary treats with dimensional foam and finished my card off with a fitting sentiment from the new XOXO stamp set. 

I hope that this card inspired you to play around with the options of these new dies. They really are so fun!

Hi friends! It’s Leica here and today I have a colorful and fun card that is very simple to make, thanks to the new layering stencils. The one I used for my card is the new Layered Valentine Hearts Stencil. With these stencils, you can easily create your own patterned paper for cards or other projects. 

I cut a 5” square in white cardstock and ink blended through the “A” Layer in Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks. For Layers B and C, I used Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Evergreen Bough, Salty Ocean, and Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide Inks. With Layer D, I ink  blended through the stencil with Barn Door Distress Oxide Ink. 

I then cut the Large Hugs Shadow with an extra shadow that I offset for added interest. I also stamped “& kisses” on a strip of light pink cardstock and foam mounted it under the Hugs script. By the way, the Large Hugs Shadow has a Hot Foil version! I’ve already tried it and oh my goodness, it is so much fun to play with! 

Next, I added some clay confetti here and there and glued the card panel onto a light pink 5.25” card base.

Hi crafty friends. It’s Leica here and I am sharing the cutest little notecards using the new Sweet Note Dies. It’s super easy to make and you can also adhere a small treat like the Ghirardelli Squares (you can find them on Amazon HERE) inside the notecard.

I cut the Sweet Note Dies in patterned paper and in 3 different ways. One is with the flap on the top, one with the flap on the left side, and another with the flap on the right side. Just keep the direction of the design in mind when you cut your paper. 

Next, I cut the scalloped circles in white cardstock and the circle dies in blush cardstock. I arranged different sentiments onto an acrylic block and stamped it onto the circle cuts in Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. I glued the circle layers and foam mounted it onto the Sweet Note.

I then stamped, colored, and cut the chocolates, rose, and strawberries from the XOXO Stamp Set. I used Copic Sketch markers:

Browns – E47/44/43/42, E57/55/53/51 and E77/74/71
Greens – YG67/63/61
Reds – R24/22/20

Lastly, I glued the images onto the circle dies. That’s all for these sweet mini notecards. I hope that I’ve inspired you to create mini love notes or candy holders for your little ones!
