Greetings Party People! It’s Jill here and I’m glad to be here with you all today to share in celebrating Pretty Pink Posh’s Birthday!
My card today uses the new Layered Garland Stencils. This set includes three stencils, each with a different type of festive banner. After tinkering around a bit, I decided I wanted to focus on using one style of banner in several different colors. I first cut a white panel using the Eyelet Rectangles.

I was excited to use this banner because I have many happy memories of having crepe paper strewn at my childhood birthday parties in the kitchen. đŸ™‚
I blended on the different color inks, shifting the stencil down and rotating it to create different angles as I went along. The spacing for the different banners makes this easy to do, so you don’t accidentally ink in the wrong opening. Love that!

I wanted a bold sentiment to add to this card, and the new Let’s Party Shadow worked swimmingly in a dark navy blue. I love that the die set includes the backer die to hold the delicate die cut words. I added some stitching to the words for a little extra something and adhered them with foam tape.
I wanted to add a little extra party fun, so I reached for the Birthday Holder Additions. The party hat was my first choice and it worked out swimmingly! I put two party hats on top of an inked vellum star from the Birthday Cake Pops die set, to anchor them down.

Pretty Pink Posh also has a set of festive dies that would be fun to use here, either in place of the Layered Garland Stencil or in addition to. That set is called Streamer Dies. (I die cut a bunch of them, so I am looking forward to using them in the future!)
I enjoy how this turned out in the end–so fun and festive! This is perfect not only for celebrating a birthday, but could also be perfect for any celebratory occasion!
We are having a special gift offer and discount code to celebrate the birthday festivities!

PRIZES: be sure to leave comments on each stop. We are giving away 4 $30 gift certificates to random comments (1 winner each day) left before March 3, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST.
