Strawberry Smile Shaker

Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Leica here with a shaker card. Trust me, it’s really easy to make and the end result is absolutely adorable.

Strawberry Smile Shaker

To get started, I took a white panel of cardstock, sized A2, and used the Layered Strawberries Stencils to create a charming strawberry pattern. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Worn Lipstick, and the Ranger Pigment Ink Pad in Glacier White. These layered stencils are fantastic and give a lovely summer vibe to the background of my shaker card.

Next, I used the Fancy Cake Dies to create a lovely pink frame. I added a sheet of clear acetate to the back of the frame and used foam tape to create a little well for the shaker bits. Inside the shaker, I added the Strawberry Banana Clay Confetti, which looks absolutely delightful.

Strawberry Smile Shaker

For the sentiment, I white heat embossed the words “You Make Me” on a strip of black cardstock. Then, I used the pink foil to hot foil the “Smile Script”. I cut out the smile script using the Smile Shadow die and also cut out another one in teal. I glued the teal one slightly off-center to add a fun pop of color. Finally, I adhered the sentiments onto the acetate.

Lastly, I attached the completed card onto an A2-sized card base. I love how quick and easy it was to create this card, thanks to the Layered Strawberries Stencils.

Jungle Animals Mini Slimlines + Video

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I have a new video to share with you all today. I always struggle with making sure I have enough birthday cards for my nephews! So I wanted to share a process today that makes 2 mini slimline cards that can be used for any one, and honestly any occasion.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

To make sure it has enough time to dry, we’re going to start with the stenciled background. I have a piece of light green cardstock trimmed to 6×6” and I used the Streamers Stencils to give a jungle feel as you can see with the theme I’m going for! I used the A Stencil with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and the B Stencil with Crocodile Tears Solar Paste. In between the layers, I splattered on some metallic orange watercolor.

Jungle Animals Mini Slimlines + Video

I stamped a bunch of critters from the Jungle Friends and Jungle Additions stamp sets with alcohol marker friendly black ink. I used the coordinating dies for both sets to cut them out and attached them to my low tack sticky mat which helps them stay in place while I’m coloring them in with my Ohuhu Art Alcohol Markers.

We can’t have a jungle without any leaves so I stamped two of my favorite leaves from both the Jungle Friends and Jungle Additions stamp sets with a green ink on green cardstock. I wanted to add the leaf details without having to do more coloring, so this is a great way to get green leaves without markers! I used the coordinating dies for both sets on the leaves and set them aside. I cut more leaves by using one of the Stitched Leafy Borders Dies with some green glitter paper.

Jungle Animals Mini Slimlines + Video

Everything is ready to be trimmed and assembled now! I trimmed the stenciled background down to two pieces that measure 5.5×2.75”, a piece of orange cardstock to two pieces that measure 5.75×3” and card bases that measure 6×3.25” when scored in half. I glued them all together so the orange cardstock is a mat for the stenciled background on the card base. I layered the leaves and glued them down with liquid adhesive and popped up my critters with foam adhesive.

Using the same green ink, I stamped the “hugs” sentiment from the Heart Critters stamp set and used its coordinating die to cut it out. I glued it to the open space in the upper right of the cards. To add some final touches, I adhered down a few of the Lime Shimmer Confetti Mix.

I hope this inspires you to make some cards for any occasion today!

Margarita Birthday Card

Hello, my creative friends! It’s Leica here on the PPP blog today. I want to show you a fun card I made with the Fruit Mug Additions Dies. The main focus of the card is a delicious margarita drink. It has quickly become my favorite product from the latest release. Let’s get started!

Margarita Birthday Card

First, I prepared a white card base that’s the size of a standard A2 card. Then, I used the Streamers Stencils with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks to add some colorful patterns. To make it more interesting, I splattered some white ink.

Next, I took a piece of vellum to create a softer background. I added a yellow frame around it using the Fancy Cake Dies. I really like how the frame gives my cards a nice border.

Margarita Birthday Card

Then, I used the Winter Mug Dies to cut out the mug shape and made a window for the shaker element using the Fruit Mug Additions Dies. I turned the mug into a short glass by removing the handle. To make the shaker, I attached a clear plastic sheet on the back of the mug, just below the rim. It’s important to keep the plastic below the rim so you can put a stirrer or straw into the glass. I added foam around the frame of the mug to create a space for the shaker, and I put in some Lemon Lime Clay Confetti and vellum cut into ice cubes. I also cut lime slices from green cardstock and glued them onto the card, as well as one on the rim of the glass. To make it more realistic, I added salt around the rim using Diamond Dust and Nuvo Crystal Drops as the glue.

Margarita Birthday Card

For the sentiment, I cut out the word “cheers” from teal glitter cardstock. I layered a few pieces to give it dimension. I also heat embossed the phrase “Happy birthday to you” in white on a strip of black cardstock.

Of course, no Pretty Pink Posh card is complete without some confetti. I added some Lemon Shimmer Mix for extra sparkle and interest.

Margarita Birthday Card

And that’s all for my margarita birthday card. I absolutely adore the Fruit Mug Additions Dies. I’ve already made so many cards with them, and I’ll be sharing more card ideas soon.

Have a fantastic day!

Strawberry Tic Tac Toe

Hello, my crafty pals! It’s Leica here, and today I want to share a delightful card with you featuring the new Fruit Mug Additions. I’ve been eager to try out the Tic Tac Toe Die for a while, and finally, I found the perfect opportunity to use it.

Strawberry Tic Tac Toe

To get started, I took a 4.5-inch square piece of white cardstock and gently blended Worn Lipstick and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink on it using the Layered XOXO Stencils. This created a playful background for the card.

Strawberry Tic Tac Toe

Next, I cut out a few strawberries from watercolor paper. I painted four of them in pink and five in red. Then, I used the Tic Tac Toe die on purple cardstock and also on a few pieces of white cardstock. I glued them together to give them some dimension.

After that, I cut a 4-inch square piece of vellum to add a soft touch to the background. I attached the strawberries using foam tape and glued the tic tac toe on the vellum. For the sentiment, I stamped “You’re Berry Sweet” on a strip of light blue cardstock and mounted it in the center of the card using foam tape.

Strawberry Tic Tac Toe

Finally, I made a 4.5-inch white card base, and ta-da! My card is complete. Thank you so much for visiting, and I hope this inspires you to create a card for a friend or loved one. Also, don’t forget to explore your collection of older sets to see how they can be combined with the latest products.

Colorful Berries

Hello, Gemma here today with a card featuring the lovely Fresh Berries stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Berries

I stamped out all the images in the set twice and coloured them with copic markers. I cut them out with the coordinated dies, then arranged them around the edges of an A2 card base.

Copic Colours:

Strawberry: R22-27 YG05 YG17 Blueberry: B63 B66 BV08 Blackberry: BV04 BV08 B69 G14 Raspberry: RV34 RV55 RV66 G14 Flowers: Y11 RV00 Leaves: YG05 YG17; G14 G07

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Berries

I popped some of the images up with foam tape, and used liquid glue for others, to get some different dimensions on the card.

I stamped the larger sentiment from the Fresh Berries stamp set with a bright pink ink, then die cut it with the coordinating die. I added some extra layers for dimension. I stamped a smaller sentiment directly on the card with a dark purple ink.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Berries

To finish, I added some jewels in berry colours (Watermelon, Raspberry, and Amethyst) around the card.

Thanks so much for joining me today!

Decorative Birdhouse

Hello everyone! It’s Leica here. Today I want to share with you a card I made using the Decorative Birdhouses Dies and the Stitched Birds Dies to create a lovely square-shaped card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Decorative Birdhouse

To start, I made a 4.5 inch square card base in white cardstock and ink blended the front with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I used a heavy hand on the bottom area and brushed the top area with a lighter hand to create a nice ombre effect. Then, I cut a white cardstock into a 4 inch square and ink blended it with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink. I splattered some white ink on the card panel and card base for added texture.

Pretty Pink Posh: Decorative Birdhouse

Next, I cut the birds, birdhouse, and florals in various color cardstock using the Decorative Birdhouses and Stitched Birds dies. I love how easy it was to cut and layer these elements to create a beautiful scene on my card panel. I added a piece of baker’s twine on the birdhouse for an extra touch of cuteness.

Pretty Pink Posh: Decorative Birdhouse

To finish off the card, I white heat embossed the sentiment “Missing You” on a strip of black cardstock and foam mounted it on the card. I think the sentiment adds a perfect finishing touch to the card.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card today and feel inspired to try out these dies. Thank you for stopping by the blog and happy crafting!

Whimsical Fresh Berries

Hi friends, Jeanne here. Is there anything sweeter than fresh berries in the summertime? They’re just too tempting to resist! I’m loving the new release that’s loaded with fruity goodness!

Whimsical Fresh Berries

My card today is made with the Fresh Berries stamp set and coordinating die. I stamped and colored a big pile of these so all that was left to do was arrange them.

Whimsical Fresh Berries

I adhered a light pink panel to the front of a card base and then die cut the Pretty Petals Background die from white cardstock. Next I added the “Berry much” sentiment to the center of the card, and then arranged the fruit and foliage above and below the sentiment.

Whimsical Fresh Berries

The foliage is adhered flat to the card base and the berries are “popped up” using adhesive foam tape. This adds dimension to the design. A scatter of flowers is the finishing touch for this pretty design!

Whimsical Fresh Berries

This card is sure to make the recipient’s life sweeter! I hope you’re smiling too!

You’re the Zest

Hey there! It’s Leica, and I’m excited to share a cute Orange-themed card with you today, featuring the new Citrus Stamp Set from the June Release. This card is perfect for letting someone know they’re the best, saying thank you, or celebrating a birthday. Let’s dive in!

Pretty Pink Posh: You're the Zest

To start, I took a 4-inch square white cardstock and blended it with Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Ink. Then, using the Starburst Stencil and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink, I stenciled some fun patterns over it. And to add an extra touch of fun, I splattered some white ink around. For the sentiment, I stamped “You’re the Zest” on the card panel using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

Pretty Pink Posh: You're the Zest

Next, I stamped and colored the oranges and leaves from the Citrus Stamp Set. After coloring them, I cut them out using their coordinating dies. I used different Copic Sketch Markers: YG67/17/03 for the leaves, Y35/32 for the oranges, and YR16/14/00 for the outside part of the oranges.

I used foam tape to attach the stamped images onto the card panel, giving them a nice dimension that really pops!

Pretty Pink Posh: You're the Zest

Lastly, I glued the card panel onto a 4.25-inch white card base and added some Sunset Orange Pearls here and there for a touch of shine and texture.

And that’s all for my card! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope I’ve inspired you to create a card with the Citrus Stamp Set. Happy crafting!

Strawberry Basket + Video

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I have a new video to share today. One of my favorite items in my craft room are my mint/teal berry baskets that I use for storage and when I saw the Fresh Berries Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, I knew I had to color the basket stamp the same color!

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I will be using different stencil pastes in the video, so I will be jumping around just a little bit as I need some drying time when making my stenciled background. Starting with a 6×6” piece of white cardstock, I started with using the Layered Strawberries Stencils. Using Festive Berries Distress Oxide, I added ink to the strawberries after masking the flowers with Stencil A. Next is Stencil B with Pine Needles Distress Oxide, followed by Mustard Seed Distress Oxide through the small circles in Stencil C; I used a small foam blender so I would just get ink through the circles.

Pretty Pink Posh: Strawberry Basket + Video

For the first stencil paste, I am using Golden Hour Solar Paste for the flowers in Stencil A and then set it aside to dry while I color. I stamped the Fresh Berries Stamp Set with an alcohol marker friendly black ink and colored them in with Ohuhu Art Honolulu Markers after die cutting them with their Coordinating Dies. In my video, I share the marker caps so you can follow along with the colors if you’d like!

Pretty Pink Posh: Strawberry Basket + Video

When I finished coloring, my flowers were dry and I brought back Stencil C to add the strawberry seeds with Cross My Heart Solar Paste. Setting the backdrop to the side to dry, I moved on to die cutting the Scallop Box Card Dies out of some mint/teal-ish cardstock and assembling the die cut pieces with strong adhesive tape. Finally, I add my last layer of stencil paste using Stencil D with Crocodile Tears Solar Paste.

Pretty Pink Posh: Strawberry Basket + Video

My Fresh Berries sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder with a berry colored cardstock and used the Coordinating Die. I assembled the berry box with the strawberries, leaves and flowers, then added it to the center of my box card. When my stenciled cardstock was dry, I used the scalloped details from the Scallop Box Card Dies and glued them to the assembled box card as well. After adding my sentiment, that will finish up my box card!

I hope it brings a smile to your face and inspires you to create today!
