Pastel Seashell Wreath
Hello crafty friends! It’s June here, and today I’m on the blog to tell you a bit more about a card I made using the newest release. It’s a simple one, but definitely my favorite I’ve created this month!

First of all, I can’t be the only one that’s excited about a new addition to the wreath stamps right? I loved all the themed wreaths from back in the day, and seeing the new Seashell Wreath stamp set made me SO excited! For my color palette I used very soft colors, mostly beiges with some touches of pastel purple, yellow and pink.

I stamped even more shells from the Seashells stamp set and used the same colors as I did for the wreath for each type of shell or coral. I put some inside of the wreath and some on the bottom, trying to make sure the colors look balanced.
For my background, I used the largest of the Stitched Torn Rectangle dies, because it just adds such a nice detail to each card. I used Antique Linen Distress Oxide to add color to my panel. I put more color towards the edges, so the center would remain lighter. To make it look even more like sand, I took the same Distress Oxide and splattered it across my panel, also focussing it mostly around the edges.

To finish of my card, I used the scripted sentiment that’s in the Seashells stamp set and put it in the center of the wreath. This ended up being a rather simple card to create, but I love the way it turned out! I’m all for colorful cards, but more neutral colored cards like this one are so up my alley!
I hope to see you again soon, bye for now! Happy crafting!
