One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

Good morning! It’s Lindsey here today and I’m sharing some cards made with one of my most favorite die sets from this month’s release–the Halloween House. This die is fantastic because it cuts the entire house outline in one piece, and then you can choose how many colors/layers you’d like to add back inside. And I had so much fun doing just that!

One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

The Halloween House die is large and will fill an entire card front.  I wanted to have room for a (somewhat) spooky night scene around the house, so I chose to make a larger 5×7 card. I fully embraced Halloween on this one, and built my card mostly out of different shades of black and grey  For added dimension, I die cut the house outline three times with a shiny black cardstock and glued them together. Then I layered back in a few shades of purple and teal for the windows, door, and shutters.  I love how it makes it look like the house is glowing inside.

One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

This die set comes with a few extra Halloween images, so I used them to up the spooky cute factor by adding some floating ghosts, magical stars, and a black, sparkly cat. I backed the cat with a white cat slightly offset to create a bit of shadow, which helped him stand out more against this otherwise dark card.

One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

Next, I set out to finish the scene.  I added a forest of trees behind the house using the tree from the Nature Essentials Dies. The moon is one of the additional dies included in the Halloween House set. Next, I added two trees to the front yard using the Fruit Tree Die. Finally, I layered several of the previously released Spooky Fence Die and added a sign with a greeting from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamps and dies.

One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

While this die may be named the Halloween House die, you are definitely not limited to creating just haunted houses.  To show its versatility, I recreated the same card for a different season.

One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

I pictured gingerbread and fancy sugar cookie houses when I created my Christmas card. To transform the Halloween House, all I did was swap out the colors and trim off the spiderweb from the roof’s eave. I added a glittery bow (cut from the Build A Gift Dies) there instead.  I couldn’t believe how different the house looked with such small changes!

One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

I opted for a simple background and embossed snow using the Snowfall Stencil. Then I repeated the trees in the front yard using the smallest tree in the Pine Trees Dies. I wanted the card to be sugary sweet, so I added glittery snow to the trees, window panes, and roof top. To further decorate the yard, I added a gumdrop walkway and peppermint lollipops using the Candy Treats Dies.

This cute holiday house needed an inviting doorstep, so I added packages using gifts in various sizes from the Village Additions and Happy Santa stamps and dies. I also added a wreath from the Village stamp set to the door.

One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

Finally, I chose another strip from the Sentiment Strips Dies (love these!) and embossed a sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments stamp set.

One Die Set In Two Unique Ways!

What do you think?  I hope you love these houses as much as I do! Thanks so much for joining me today!

Easy Halloween Tags

Hello friends. It’s Lisa Mears on the blog today and I’m sharing some Halloween tags that would be super fun to add to Halloween treats.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

For my tags, I used the large pumpkin from the Boo to You stamp set. The pumpkin stamp is made up of several Halloween icons such as ghosts, pumpkins, spider webs, candy corn, and more.

I stamped the pumpkin onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors:

Bat: Violet and Blender
Pumpkin with Face: Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Blender
Pumpkin without Face: Orange, Light Green, Blender
Candy Corn, Orange, Yellow, Light Gray, Blender
Cat: Dark Gray, Blender
Ghost: Light Gray, Sugar Almond Pink, Blender
Spider Web: Light Green
Stars: Yellow

After coloring the pumpkin, I die cut it with the coordinating pumpkin die. Next, I added some orange ink around the edges of the pumpkin shape and then added the sentiment to the top.

For my second tag, I stenciled a piece of cardstock using the Layered Argyle Stencil. I used Distress Oxide Inks in the following colors: Twisted Citron and Dried Marigold. I die cut the stenciled background using pumpkin die from the Boo to You die set.

I added the Large Boo Script word die to the front as well as some Halloween images from the Boo to You stamp set.

I just love these Halloween tags. They are perfect to add to a Halloween treat which can be given to friends, family, co-workers, and trick-or-treaters for Halloween.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a great day!

Halloween Gift Bag & Tag

Hello! It’s Lindsey here today and I’m trying to plan ahead with teacher gifts, so I created a little gift bag and tag using the new Halloween release.

Halloween Gift Bag & Tag

I made the gift bag with the previously released Gift Card Bag Dies. This was one of the quickest projects I made!  I love that with just two cuts of the die you can have a darling gift bag in no time. It’s the perfect size for a candy/treat, jewelry, gift card, etc. I used patterned paper to speed the process up even more. I decorated the bag using the Ghost Shaker, Spider Web, and Large Boo Shadow Dies.

Halloween Gift Bag & Tag

And while those dies were out, I cut the ghost a few more times to use on my tag. This time I made him into an actual shaker.  I used vellum because it felt a little more ghost-ish to me :) and filled it with the new Candy Corn Glass Beads.  This may seem silly, but I LOVE the sound these beads make. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve picked this little ghost up and given him a shake.

Halloween Gift Bag & Tag

I finished my tag off by simply stamping some little images from the Boo to You stamp set

I’m so glad you joined me today. I hope I’ve inspired you and look forward to seeing what you create with this fabulous new release!

Spooky Halloween Mug

Hi, crafty friends! Leica here and I’m excited to share a Halloween shaker card using the new Halloween Mug Addition Dies. I’m absolutely in love with the Winter Mug Dies and all the additions that were previously-released. And this Halloween set is no exception!

Pretty Pink Posh: Spooky Halloween Mug

To start, I created a 5-inch square background for my shaker by using the Layered Argyle Stencils on purple cardstock. I used some Distress Oxide inks like Black Soot and Wilted Violet. Then, I cut a square frame from white glitter cardstock and added acetate and foam tape around it to create the shaker well. Inside the shaker, I added some Halloween Candy Mix, and I also colored some of the small dies from the Halloween Mug Additions dies with copic markers before tossing them in.

Pretty Pink Posh: Spooky Halloween Mug

Next, I cut the mug from the Winter Mug Dies and added the Frankenstein elements from the Halloween Mug Additions Dies. I ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks and glued the mug to the front of the card panel. For the sentiment, I cut the word “spooky” from the Spooky Wishes Shadow dies in black glitter cardstock and the shadow in orange cardstock. Then, I stamped “greetings” on a strip of light pink cardstock and glued it to the card panel. Finally, I glued the card panel onto a 5-inch square white card base.

Pretty Pink Posh: Spooky Halloween Mug

That’s it for my shaker card. I hope I’ve inspired you to create some shaker cards with the Halloween Mug Additions Dies. The small dies are perfect for shaker bits, and you can customize the colors using markers or inks.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!

Bright Halloween Cupcakes

Hello, Gemma here and today I’m sharing a card using the new Halloween Cupcakes stamp set. I love the bold bright colours of Halloween and chose a colour scheme of pink, purple and turquoise.

Pretty Pink Posh: Bright Halloween Cupcakes

I began by stamping out 3 of the cupcakes and colouring them with copic markers. I then die cut them out with the Halloween Cupcakes coordinating dies.

Copic colours: Turquoise: BG000, 11, 13, 23, 45, 49 Pink: RV21, 23, 25 Purple: BV02, 04, 08

Pretty Pink Posh: Bright Halloween Cupcakes

For my background, I first used the largest die in the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set to cut a panel of white card. From this, I used the Stitched Pieces die to cut some windows in the panel. This is one of my favourite PPP dies.

On the die cut insert pieces, I used the same copic markers to colour each one in. I wanted them to match my cupcake colours but knew it could be tricky to find a patterned paper or ink that matched. To add some sparkle, I covered each one with embossing ink, then embossed them with WOW Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder.

Pretty Pink Posh: Bright Halloween Cupcakes

I stamped a sentiment from the new Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp set on the white panel.

On an A2 card base, I adhered a piece of black pearl sparkle card, followed by the white Wonky Stitched Rectangle panel. I added the sparkly insert pieces, then used foam tape to add the cupcakes to finish.

Thanks so much for joining me today!

Halloween House

Hey, friends! Leica here and today I’m excited to share a cute Halloween card using the awesome Halloween House die. It was a breeze to put together, and that’s what I adore about this new die from the August 2023 release.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween House

To start, I cut the Halloween House twice – once in black glitter cardstock and another in white heavy weight cardstock. I used the white one as a stencil and inked through it on a white card panel. Using Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot, Milled Lavender, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, and Wilted Violet, I created a fantastic background. After tracing around the Halloween House die, I cut it to size and foam mounted it onto the card panel.

For the main card panel, I blended Spun Sugar Distress Ink on an A2-sized white cardstock and added a textured spider web background using Finnabair Snowflake Paste through the Layered Spider Webs Stencil. To make it even cooler, I splattered some rose gold ink on it.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween House

Next, I added a few cute ghosts cut from white glitter cardstock and the adorable cat from black glitter cardstock. For the sentiment, I stamped one from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp set and cut it with a rectangle scallop die from the Sentiment Strips dies. To give it a cute touch, I added a gold ribbon. Finally, I glued the card panel onto an A2-sized white card base.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween House

That’s all for my card, featuring the Halloween House die. This die is so much fun to use since it takes up most of the card panel and is super easy to work with.

I hope I’ve inspired you to create your own Halloween card. Happy crafting!

Boo to You Ghost

Hello, Gemma here today with a spooky cute Halloween card to share using the brand new release.

Boo to You Ghost

I began with the background. I used the new Hot Foil Large Boo Script to foil multiple times on a piece of patterned paper. I foiled with prism and speckled prism glimmer foils, and didn’t worry if the foiling wasn’t perfect, as this time I wanted a more distressed look.

Boo to You Ghost

Next, I die cut the new Ghost Shaker – twice from white card and once from pearl white sparkle card for the top layer. I also added a face to the top layer, using a die from the Ghost Shaker set. I coloured on the layer beneath with a black copic marker, so it shows through the face. I then adhered the layers together for dimension.

Boo to You Ghost

To create a banner for the ghost to hold, I heat embossed, in white on black card, a sentiment from the new Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp set. I used a die from the Sentiment Strips set to cut it out.

I adhered the foiled panel to an A2 card base, added the ghost, then the banner with some foam tape to finish.

Boo to You Ghost

Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope this card inspired you.

Halloween Cupcakes + Video

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video featuring some of the new Halloween themed products from the newest release! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I’m just so excited to have the new products for the upcoming holiday and to share some inspiration with you.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Before I started my video, I stamped four of the six cupcakes from the Halloween Cupcakes stamp set and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also cut out the Spooky Wishes Shadow Dies out of purple (for the shadow) and holographic (for the words) cardstocks.

Halloween Cupcakes + Video

To make sure it has enough time to dry, we’re going to start with the stenciled background. I cut a piece of light grey cardstock slightly smaller than A2, 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″. Using Distress Inks, I stenciled different colors through the layers of the cute candies from the Layered Candy Treats Stencils; the different colors were Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, Milled Lavender and Lost Shadow. For the areas that layered on top of other colors of the candies, I used some Pearl White Stardust Butter stencil paste to add some shine and dimension.

Halloween Cupcakes + Video

Before putting my inks away, I used the Milled Lavender to ink the purple Spooky Wishes Shadow die cut pieces so they have a bit of an ombre look to them. I then layered the word die cut pieces with liquid adhesive to finish off my sentiment. Next I colored in my images with Ohuhu Art Honolulu Markers and added some white gel pen accents for highlights on the images.

Halloween Cupcakes + Video

To assemble the card, I glued the grey, stenciled cardstock to the center of an A2 card base and layered on the sentiment and cupcakes to the card with foam adhesive. I just love how fun the candies look and the soft colors – pastel Halloween is just my favorite combination.

I hope this card brings a smile to your face today!

Day 3: August Blog Hop + New Release Now Available

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE //  If you missed Day 2 CLICK HERE

Hello, everyone! It’s Leica here. Today I want to share a fun 3D project using the Stitched Pumpkins dies from Pretty Pink Posh. This set comes with three pumpkin sizes that create adorable 3D pumpkins. They’re perfect for place card holders or as a festive centerpiece for Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Day 3: August Blog Hop + New Release Now Available

For this project, I used 29 lb cardstock from Michaels and I cut 4 sheets at once, which saves a lot of time since we need many pieces. The more pieces you cut, the fuller the pumpkins will look.

The process is straightforward, though it may take some time to assemble. You can cut just four pieces to make a stand-alone pumpkin. You can experiment with heavyweight cardstock or colored and patterned paper too.

Day 3: August Blog Hop + New Release Now Available

Once you have all the pieces, fold them in half and use a binder clip to hold them together. Apply glue to the spine of the pumpkins and let them dry. Then, attach the stem using the die provided or find something suitable in your garden. I used Helmar glue to adhere the stem to the center of the pumpkins.

For the leaf, I cut the die in green cardstock and added some interest with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink.

Day 3: August Blog Hop + New Release Now Available

I made several pumpkins in different sizes to use as centerpieces for Thanksgiving. However, you can also use these dies for cards, not just 3D projects. They’d make beautiful focal pieces for cards too.

Day 3: August Blog Hop + New Release Now Available

I hope my 3D pumpkin projects have inspired you to create your own. It’s a fun activity suitable for everyone. Both grown-ups and children can do this project together. Include the kids and create many 3D pumpkins.

PRIZES: be sure to leave comments on each stop. We are giving away 3 $30 gift certificates to three random comments (1 winner each day) left before August 15, 2023 at 11:59 PM PST. I’ll be announcing the winners next week, so be sure to return and see if you are one of the winners.
