Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I’m thrilled to be back on the blog with this set of Valentine card and shaker tag using products from the brand new Valentine release: Build A Heart, Love Word Shaker, Valentine Greetings and Upright Greetings: Valentine.

I started off by cutting a large Eyelet Rectangle out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I masked the four scalloped edges with washi tape, colored the panel with spun sugar oxide ink first, and then added a fun pattern using the Medium Polka Dots stencil along with kitsch flamingo oxide ink. I splattered water and dried the panel with a paper towel, mixed some picked raspberry oxide ink with water and used a slim brush to add more splatters, I did the same with seedless preserves oxide ink, with copic opaque white ink and with liquid stardust, and once my panel was dry, I attached a piece of ribbon at the very bottom.

I cut all the hearts and decorative pieces out of colored cardstock, directly inspired by the Hugs & Kisses confetti mix. I assembled everything using liquid glue, and splattered white ink on all the hearts to give them more character. 

Here is a detailed list of the die sets I used: • Build A Heart – three largest hearts and decorative pieces • Stitched Hearts – stitched hearts • Xoxo Border – small hearts • Baby Mug Additions – tiny hearts.

I cut three additional large hearts out of holographic cardstock and attached them at the back of the large colorful hearts using liquid glue, I stuck all the hearts on the panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, tied a bow using the same ribbon as before, and attached it on the left hand corner.

I stamped and embossed “Hugs & kisses” from Valentine Greetings in silver on white cardstock, cut it using the matching die, and attached it on the upper right hand corner using foam squares. Finally I attached my Eyelet Rectangle panel to a purple striped 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel using 1mm foam squares, and then to a white card base using liquid glue.

Next I created the shaker tag using the Love Word Shaker, and here is how I built it:1. Cut a Love Word Shaker frame out of lilac cardstock using the main die and heart die from the set2. Cut a whole Love Word Shaker panel out of acetate, trimmed the heart and attached it at the back of the purple frame right behind the heart using liquid glue3. Added foam strips at the back of the frame all around the heart, and behind each letter as well4. Poured some Hugs & Kisses confetti inside the heart frame5. Cut another Love Word Shaker acetate panel, trimmed the heart, and attached it to the foam strips on the heart purple frame to totally close the shaker element5. Cut another Love Word Shaker purple frame, and attached it to the foam strips to finish the back of the tag6. Cut a light blue handle using a Build A Stocking die, and stuck it on top of the “L”

I cut the “L”, “V” and “E” out of colored cardstock, added a pattern to each letter using the Mini Polka Dots stencil and matching distress inks, added white ink to each element, and once everything was dry, I attached the letters to my Love Word Shaker panel using 1mm foam squares. I also cut a small heart from Xoxo Border out of holographic cardstock, and attached it right in the center of the shaker heart.

I had one more Build A Heart heart that couldn’t fit on the card, so I added a handle to that heart, and tied it to my Love Word Shaker tag using purple twine and heart beads from my stash. Next I stamped and embossed “I love you” and “Hugs & kisses” from Upright Greetings: Valentine in silver on white cardstock, and trimmed them into slim banners using Sentiments Strips dies. I cut two additional strips out of purple cardstock, attached them behind the white banners, and then attached both banners using liquid glue. And finally, to totally match with the card, I tied a bow using the same ribbon as before, and stuck it at the top of the banner strips using liquid glue.

And that’s it! It was super fun to cut and assemble all those pieces to create this set of card and shaker tag, and I hope that these have inspired you to create your own set! Thanks so much for stopping, and see you next time.

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am excited to be sharing a sneak peek of two of the new stencils that are part of the new Valentine’s Day release. The new release will be available on January 6th and it’s packed full of amazing new products for Valentine’s Day and more!

New release will be available January 6th

For my first card I used the Scattered Hearts Frame stencil to create my card panel. I used dye ink and finger daubers for my blending. This stencil has scattered hearts around a large heart in the center. The large heart is the perfect place for a sentiment or an image. 

For my card, I decided to cover up the large heart with a heart I created with the Fringe Heart dies. I ink blended the layers in coordinating colors and then attached the heart to the center of my panel. Lastly, I used the Love Script die for my sentiment.

My next card uses the Circle Grid stencil. This stencil coordinates with the Icon stamp and die sets. The little images in the Icon sets fit perfectly into the ink blended openings. There is also a Square Grid stencil and a Diamond Grid stencil being released. I love how these stencils will coordinate with the icon sets.

I started my card by using the Circle Grid stencil to create my card panel. I again used dye ink and finger daubers for my blending. I stamped my images with the Valentine Icon set with VersaMark ink. I then heat set the images with gold embossing powder. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the Valentine Icon die set to cut them out.

Next, I used the Valentine Greetings set for my sentiment. Lastly, I attached the images and sentiment onto my panel with foam adhesive to finish my card.

Hello everyone! This is Melissa and I’m here to share a couple of cards made with the adorable Heart Balloons stamps and Upright Greetings: Valentine stamps. These new products are irresistibly sweet and heartwarming. Let’s get started!

My first card uses a trio of Heart Balloons, each stamped with different patterns you can find in this playful set.  You’ll find hearts, polka dots, stripes, and so much more to choose from.  You’ll even find a balloon outline, streamers, and sentiments in this set.   

I layered my balloons over a die cut white Wonky Stitched Square that was stamped with a sentiment from the Upright Greetings: Valentine stamp set.  This was then layered over a larger die cut vellum Wonky Stitched Square.  

My aqua card base was cut using the darling XOXO Pierced Plate…I love this die!  I then added a strip of striped patterned paper across the bottom of my card and a pink glittered border across the top of the patterned paper, die cut using the Doily Borders dies. If you love scallops and eyelets, you’ll absolutely love these dies!

I layered a tiny Heart Balloons die cut and stamped image over the new Double Heart Shaker on my next card.  I created triple sentiments using one sentiment from the Heart Balloons stamp set, one from the Upright Greetings: Valentine stamp set, and the larger sentiment from the new Valentine Greetings stamp and coordinating dies set. 

My background was created using the cute Circle Grid Stencil, sprayed with Distress Spray to give it a loose, watercolor look. Once again I used the Doily Borders dies to add a red glittered border across my card front.

I love the new Valentine Holder Additions dies and used the tiny flower and leaves and hearts to add extra details to my card.

These new products are so refreshing and fun to create with.  I hope you enjoy creating with them too!

Hi friends, it’s Jeanne here and I’m so excited to share sneak peeks of the new Valentine Icons and Valentine Greetings stamp sets. These two sets work together perfectly and are so versatile!

The Valentine Icons stamp set includes 12 image stamps of traditional Valentine images including hearts, sweets, love letters and more!  The coordinating die set has cuts for all of the images as well as a sweet little doily and two circle dies.  This makes them easy to color, cut and then stack and arrange as you like. 

I framed the stacked images with an Eyelet Rectangle that I cut the center from with a smaller rectangle die.   The pink background layer is debossed with the new XOXO Pierced Plate.

The Valentine Icons set does not include any sentiments so they’re perfect to pair with the Valentine Greetings to complete your designs. The Valentine Greetings coordinating die set fussy cuts the sentiments giving them a unique look that takes up less space than cutting with a banner or strip die so more of your design is visible. 

I used a Stitched Heart placed over an Eyelet Circle to create a focal point for this card.  It was easy to arrange the Valentine Icons along the edge of the circle to maintain the shape.

It doesn’t get sweeter than this!  I know you’re going to love the new release!

Hello, crafty friends! Arsenia here, and I’m excited to share a sneak peek with you today! The Valentine Ghost Friends stamp set and coordinating dies are absolutely adorable — I couldn’t stop using them. For my color palette, I was inspired by vintage ghost valentines, which often feature a mix of red, blue, and black. Of course, I had to add a touch of pink to complete the look! Let’s dive in!

For my first card, I stamped the images from the Valentine Ghost Friends set in black and then colored them using alcohol markers in a mix of red, blue, and pink tones. After coloring, I used the Valentine Ghost Friends coordinating dies to cut out the images.

Next, I created the background using the new Circle Grid stencil — and let me tell you, I’m totally obsessed with all the stencils in this release! To add a little extra detail, I used another new stencil, the Layered Heart Sprinkles, to stencil partial red hearts onto the grid.

For the frame, I used the large die from the Eyelet Rectangles Dies, cutting out a rectangle from the center. I also die-cut a heart from the Eyelet Heart Dies. For embellishment, I added images from the new Valentine Holder Additions Dies. This die set is phenomenal, and I know you’ll love it too!

Finally, I worked on the sentiment. I used the Large Boo Shadow Dies and two sentiments from the Valentine Ghost Friends set. Ta-da — the card was done, and I think that ghost is just too cute!

For my second card, I began by stenciling the background using the new Layered Heart Sprinkles stencil. Then, I created a frame using the Stitched Torn Rectangles Dies to give the card some structure. The ghosts from Valentine Ghost Friends stamp set needed a resting place, so I die-cut the smallest heart from the Eyelet Heart Dies and placed the ghosts on top.

I added some finishing touches with dies from the Valentine Holder Additions Dies — you’re going to want to add these to your collection, trust me!

The final step was adding the sentiment. I used a love sentiment from the new Valentine Greetings set (another must-have — the font is just perfect!). I also included two additional sentiments from the Valentine Ghost Friends set, heat-embossed on white cardstock and die-cut with the Sentiment Strip Dies. To wrap it all up, I added some white gel pen highlights for a touch of whimsy. I love how it turned out!

For my third card, I used the remaining colored images from the Valentine Ghost Friends stamp set with coordinating dies. I once again used the Layered Heart Sprinkles stencil for the background. To give the ghosts a place to rest, I die-cut the smallest square from the Eyelet Squares Dies. I arranged the squares and ghosts and added a few embellishments from the new Strawberry Valentine Mix.

For the sentiment, I chose a phrase from the Valentine Ghost Friends set, heat-embossing it in white on pink cardstock. I then die-cut it using the Sentiment Strip Dies. For an extra touch, I used the Boo Die from the Ghost Shaker Dies. And with that, the card was complete!
