10 Minute Craft Dash #5 Highlights

I’m stopping in with a quick little post- I just couldn’t pass up the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge! This challenge was to use kraft and as you may have noticed, I’ve been using it a lot in the recent months. I can’t seem to get enough and sneak it in whenever I can!
For my card, I used a recent set I received from Avery Elle called Blossoms & Blooms. This set is amazing and I can’t wait to show you what I have created with it for next week….. *hint hint*

I apologize for the weird scallops in the photo. The way I edit photos makes it so hard to get those scallops the way they are in real life- I promise, they are perfectly scalloped! :)

I love how easy it is to layer these pretty blossoms. I used three five different images to get this flower- the stem, three blossoms and the flower tip. To top it off, I just couldn’t resist adding a little bit of bling- even CAS cards need a little bling!
I hope you have a great rest of your weekend. Thanks for stopping in!

Hello!
It’s Thursday and that means a new Thankful Thursday post to share. I’ll be honest, this week was really hard for me to come up with things to list. It’s been a rough week for me and staying positive and looking on the bright side hasn’t been easy.Praying I can get out of this slump and start feeling better soon!
Even though this list is short, I am super thankful for these things. The saying is true, sometimes it’s the little things in life.
Sweet friends, what are you thankful for this week? Can’t wait to see your lists!

Hello there!
Today I have another card to share with you featuring the current 10 Minute Craft Dash color palette. I remember back {not that long ago} when I was timid to pull out orange onto my cards. Now, I seem to sneak it on whenever I get a chance! Ah, the beauty of transitioning styles and going outside your comfort zone.
In case you haven’t seen the colors, here is what we are featuring in the challenge. If you’re new to the challenge, you can create any sort of crafty item, it just needs to be with these colors and take under 10 minutes to create. {Don’t worry, you can gather your supplies beforehand!}

And now, here is take 2 of giving these colors a whirl. I couldn’t help but pull out the Elephant for this card. Yes, I realize I pulled him recently out on this card and this card, but he’s just so adorable!
Time it took to create: 7 minutes 3 seconds
There’s a great prize up for grabs and this challenge definitely gives you a little workout. I hope you’ll come join in on the fun and also spread the word. The more, the merrier! :)

You ladies are fab- thank you for all the sweet comments recently. They totally make my day and with my health not being great, they definitely bring smiles to my face.
See you all tomorrow for my Thankful Thursday post. Have a wonderful rest of your day!
Hello friends!
I just came from taking a look at the entries in the current 10 Minute Craft Dash. Oh my, I am loving all the beautiful entries and I’m so happy to read you like the colors featured! They are super fun ones! If you haven’t submitted yet, or have only created one item, you still have four days left to enter!
Today I’m sharing a card I created during the World Cardmaking Day {weekend} crafting session I had. Do you remember how I did a Featured Blogger post earlier this month? These stamps are from Dawn’s company, WPlus9 Design Studio! For this card, I used Very Vintage Greetings.

How have you all been doing? Since I haven’t been doing well health wise, I feel pretty disconnected and haven’t had a chance to hop around blogs as much as usual. If you’ve created something recently, or done a blog post in the last day or two, feel free to post links so I can check them out!
Big hugs to you all…..

Hi there, blog friends!
I thought I would pop in today with a card I made for one of my blog friends. This gal is an amazing card maker and I’ll admit, I always get intimidated when I send cards to my crafty friends. I tried to create something that fit her style and I think I was able to accomplish that.
You know how much I love my bright colors, but I have noticed that I’m starting to develop a love for pastel and muted colors as well. I suppose I’m really starting to enjoy the whole realm of colors….okay, maybe not neons, but maybe I’ll conquer those someday.

For my “flowers” I used the Scallop Circle, which I’ve done in the past. I wanted to change it up a little bit, so I punched out circles with patterned paper and then used a raised sticker to give it more dimension. I’ll be honest, this is my first time doing this, but I know it won’t be my last! It has such a great result and really makes the centers shine.

Do you have any fun plans this weekend? Last night I went to a concert, and I also have one tonight. Yay for fun weekends! I’m so thankful for friends who are willing to drive me so I can still enjoy these fun occasions. :)
Talk with you all later…..

Hello there!
Today I’ll be bringing you two blog posts….this one is my weekly Thankful Thursday post, and my other one will be one that is more personal and heartfelt. I hope you’ll come back for that one!
These last 1 1/2 weeks, I’ve been setback physically and I’ve been having issues with my attitude towards the situation. I won’t go into it in this post…..let’s just say that I’m glad I do these posts as it reminds me once again to count my blessings. :)

Since you’re reading this, that means you made it through another week. You know what that means? It’s your turn to say what you’re thankful for! What are YOU thankful for this week? I’m hoping there will be some funny things listed…..however, I would love to see anything you’re thankful for. :)
Hope to see you later for my other blog post. Hugs!

Good morning!
I hope you all are ready for a new 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge! I’m excited for this one since I was able to play with some beautiful handmade embellishments created by our sponsor. I know you may think that these colors are “Summery”, but with the gloomy Autumn days here, a little burst of color is always welcome– especially in blog land. :)
Recently, I’ve heard and seen that some may be having a bit of trouble with the challenge. I have created a Tips & Tricks page {at the top of my blog}, which includes some things that help me when creating under a time constraint. As more tips come to mind, I’ll add them to the page- also, I’m planning on including some pictures there as well.

Okay, now back to this challenge…. here is what I created with the color palette. Quick & simple, but I just LOVE how it turned out.
Time it took to create: 5 minutes 48 seconds
I know you all are dying to see Ginny’s creation…. just look at the peek, it’s GORGEOUS! Be sure to visit her blog for the whole thing- it’s super cute!

I am so thrilled to have the team over at Creative Paper Trade join along in this challenge. These gals are so talented and I know they have some beauties to share!
Andrea is offering up a lovely prize of handmade embellishments from The Creative Paper Trade {just like the ones you see in Ginny’s card and mine}.

2) Post the time it took to create
You can pull out your supplies before your timer starts!

Hi there!
It’s time to announce the highlights for the 10 Minute Craft Dash #4. I am absolutely loving the variety of entries being submitted in my challenge. The other amazing thing? We have people all over the WORLD submitting- such a neat thing to see!
Before I go onto the details of this email, I have a semi-sad announcement to make. As some may have noticed, Ginny hasn’t been around in blog land as much lately. She has recently moved to a new place, gotten a new job and then also joined her first official DT. That’s a lot of changes! She’ll be stepping down from her spot with me after this next challenge, but you may see her join along IN the challenges sometime in the future. :)

If you are interested in getting a head start on your project…there’s a sneak peek of the colors that will be featured on the Pretty Pink Posh Facebook page! If you like my page and go to “exclusives”, you get to see the next 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge colors a day early!
Hope to see you all for the new challenge tomorrow! We have fun colors and also a great sponsor, along with some special guests joining along! :) Thanks for stopping by and congrats to those highlighted.
