Hello friends. It’s Lisa Mears on the blog today sharing a get well soon card that I made with the Get Well Soon stamp set.

The Get Well Soon stamp set has a lot of cute images such as a tissue box, tea cup, soup bowl, thermometer, bandaid, bouquet of flowers, and several sentiments. I wanted to use several of the images on my card so I decided to stamp many of them in a random pattern on the cardstock to create my own pattern paper. 

I stamped the images onto Bristol Smooth cardstock that I cut to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors —  Turquoise Green, Sugar Almond Pink, Flesh Colour, Lemon Yellow, Pale Gray, Mid Brown, and the Blender. After I colored them, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.

I die cut the label for the sentiment using the Get Well Soon coordinating die set and stamped a sentiment on it. I added the label to the card with foam to give it some dimension and then added a few more stamps around the sentiment. 

Finally, I added the stamped card layer to a piece of teal cardstock that measures 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” and then added it to an A2 card base.

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am so excited to be back on the Pretty Pink Posh blog! Today I’m sharing two Mother’s Day card ideas using stenciled backgrounds for Pretty Pink Posh’s Stencil Week – of course you can change the sentiments to use for any occasion.

I started with stenciling my backgrounds so they have plenty of time to dry. Using the Layered Sunflowers Stencils, I used Distress Oxides in Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo and Mowed Lawn to add color through the B, C and D stencils. Then using the A stencil, I added yellow stencil paste to add shine and dimension to the background. The second background was with the Layered Butterflies Stencils and I used the A and C stencils with more Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet. Then I added some clear sparkle stencil paste through the B stencil to add the details to the butterflies.

Then I worked on the sentiments for my card by hot foiling the Large Mom/Mother Foil Plates with Blush and Bright Pink foils. I used the Mom/Mother Shadow Dies to cut them out as they coordinate perfectly. After die cutting a label from Easter Sentiments Coordinating Dies out of green cardstock, I embossed the “Thanks for all you do” sentiment from the Mom Stamp Set in gold embossing powder. I also embossed the same sentiment on purple cardstock with white embossing powder and trimmed around the sentiment to make a strip.

For the images on the card, I die cut the Butterfly Shaker Die out of pink cardstock and added Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink to add color. I also stamped and die cut butterflies from the Mom Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, and flowers from the Potted Sunflowers Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. Using Ohuhu Art Markers, I colored in the images to match the colors of the stenciled backgrounds.

I assembled the cards by adding my stenciled backgrounds that were trimmed to 4×5-1/4″ on A2 card bases with tape runner, the label and butterfly die cut were adhered with foam adhesive, and finally glued the sentiments and images with adhesive.

Hello friends! Welcome to Stencil Week, my favorite week of all! This is Mindy and I’m excited to share my project with you today featuring white pigment ink and kraft cardstock (and stencils of course!)

White pigment ink on kraft cardstock is such a fun and unique look. I’m starting with the Falling Branches stencil and applying White pigment ink using a dome blending tool. I want to make sure I’m getting really good coverage with the white ink.

After I remove the stencil, I’m going to clean it and then position back over the card front, lining up the images.

I’m going to apply a light green ink over the stencil with a blending brush. Be sure to watch the video for all the tips I share when applying ink over white pigment ink.

Before removing the stencil, I’m going to apply a darker green to give the branches some shading and highlight areas.

For a little interest and fun, I’m adding splatters with white paint and also a mix of water and dark green ink.

After the panel is dry, I’m going to frame the design with a white Scallop Frame popped up with foam strips.

My sentiment comes from the Simple Sentiments stamp set and is heat embossed in white embossing powder with a coordinating color of green cardstock to match my background. After trimming this down to a thin strip, I can add it to my card front by slightly overlapping the white frame.

For an embellishment, I’m adding three white flowers die cut from the Spring Foliage set and dropping in Lemon Drop Jewels in the center.

Hey friends! This is Mindy and I’m here today to share with you inspiration using the Leafy Spring Wreath two different ways.

I’ll start by stamping the wreath from the Leafy Spring Wreath stamp set and images from the Mom stamp set two times in an alcohol friendly ink. One of the wreaths I’m going to color with shades of green from the Triblend Markers and the other wreath I’m only going to add a light gray to one edge of each leaf.

I’m also going to color in all the flowers I stamped out using some light pinks from my Triblend Markers. I’ll use the coordinating dies from both the Leafy Spring Wreath & Mom Stamp Set to cut out all the images so I can pop them up with foam squares later on.

For the first card, I created a striped background using various colors of cardstock from my scraps. I’ll trim this panel down to add to an A2 size card front and I’m going to use the wreath that has the light gray coloring on it. I like keeping the color soft and light on this one when adding to a colorful background. This way I don’t feel like the card is too busy.

For the second card, I’m lightly ink blending on Lost Shadow Distress Ink using the Pretty Petals Stencil. I start in the center of the card and have the stencil fade out as it gets towards the edges.

I will add my green wreath over the top with foam squares and decorate with the flowers.

Both cards are using the Mom Word & Shadow die. One is cut from white glitter cardstock and the other from Matte Gold cardstock and placed over the center of the wreaths.

The smaller sentiment also comes from the Mom Stamp set in which one is stamped in Black ink onto White cardstock and the other heat embossed in Gold to match the Matte Gold cardstock.

Hi crafty friends! Rebecca here with two quick and easy colorful cards! Have you tried the Pretty Pink Posh Layering Stencils? Using them is truly the easiest way to achieve the cutest multicolor image backgrounds!

With just some ink pads and mini blending brushes you can ink blend over the Layered Easter Floral Stencils and Layered Umbrella Stencils with a variety of colors and create adorable Easter and Spring themed, colorful backgrounds for cards.

Once you have all your stenciling done, you don’t need to add much to your card so you can let those backgrounds shine. Choose a pretty sentiment from the Easter Sentiments Stamp Set and cut it out with the Easter Sentiments Dies.

You can trim the stenciled panel down to 4 x 5.25” to matte it on some colorful cardstock, or cut the stenciled panel out using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies.

Add a bit of trim under the Easter Sentiments label or cut out a few of the Stitched Strips Dies to place under the label. The multicolor panels are so fun, you don’t need much more than that, but if you do want to include some embellishments, you can die cut some images like Easter eggs from the Easter Mug Additions Dies!

The Pretty Pink Posh layering stencils come in a big variety of themes and images, so next time you need a colorful and adorable background try them for an easy way to add multicolor images to your cards!

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am so excited to be back on the Pretty Pink Posh YouTube channel! Were you patiently waiting like I was for the Scallop Box Card Dies to be released? It’s perfect timing with all of the adorable Spring products recently released and I wanted to use them to create a rainy day scene with the Spring Chicks Stamp Set.

I started with die cutting all of the pieces I needed from the Scallop Box Card Dies, Umbrella Shaker Dies, and Nature Essentials Dies in colored and glitter cardstock. Next, I stamped and colored the images from the Spring Chicks Stamp Set and Spring Jar Stamp Set. I used the Spring Chicks Coordinating Dies and Spring Jar Coordinating Dies to cut the images out.

To add a little more fun to the card, I also stenciled some rain drops onto the scalloped arch using just the rain drops from Layered Umbrellas Stencils with some blue stencil paste. I set that aside to dry while I stamped my sentiment onto the scalloped rectangle that will be adhered to the front of the box card.

You can follow along in the video as I show how to assemble the Scallop Box Card Dies and any tips I have to help add in the “shelf” pieces and how to close the box card so that it folds flat nicely. Once the box is assembled, you can add in the grassy die cut pieces, stenciled scallop arch and sentiment to the box card. I also glued together my umbrella from the Umbrella Shaker Dies and added it to the back of my box card.

Using my reversible tweezers and a jewel picker tool, I adhered my stamped images to create a scene of Spring Chicks playing in the rain puddles. My butterfly is attached to the scene using acetate so it looks like it’s flying in the background above the playful chicks. Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. Today I’m sharing a card using the Spring Jar Stamp Set. This stamp set includes a mason jar, lots of flowers, a butterfly, a ladybug, and more! This stamp set is perfect for cards of all occasions — birthdays, Easter, Mother’s Day, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, sympathy, and thank you, just to name a few.

I colored my images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors — Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink, Orange, Yellow, Light Violet, FL Green, May Green, Turquoise Green, Light Blue and the Blender. After I colored them, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the background, I used the Trellis Stencil. I added Scrapbook.com buttercream ink to the center of the stencil. I was going for a clean and simple look so I wanted to leave a lot of white around the edges. After applying the ink to the stencil, I removed the stencil and then added more ink directly over the stenciled background on the cardstock. This filled the white areas within the stenciled background with the buttercream ink. I added the mason jar and flowers to the cardstock.

For the sentiment, I used the Mom/Mother hot foil plate and foiled the sentiment with pink foil. I die cut the hot foiled word with the Mom/Mother Shadow dies. Next, I added some Pansy Purple Pearls and Flamingo Pearls. 

I added the card layer to a piece of pink cardstock and then added it to an A2 size card base.

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. Shaker cards are one of my favorite types of cards to make so I’m super excited to share a spring shaker card I made using the Umbrella Shaker die set. This die set can be used to make cards for spring, Easter, Mother’s Day, birthdays, and more. 

Be sure to check out the video to see how I put the umbrella shaker together. I added the Flower Garden Clay Confetti to the inside of the shaker. I love the vibrant colors of the flowers and the leaves in this mix. It’s so pretty!

For the background of my card, I cut a white piece of cardstock with a stitched rectangle die and then inked the bottom right half with pink ink. I was going for a clean and simple look so I wanted to have a lot of white showing on my card. I stamped a sentiment from the Easter Sentiments stamp set in the top right hand corner of the panel. 

Using the Spring Foliage die set, I die cut several flowers and some leaves from different color cardstock and inked the edges to add some depth to the die cuts. I added the umbrella shaker upside down in the lower right corner of the card panel and added the flowers and leaves coming out of the umbrella. I added this layer to an A2 size card base (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”).
