Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Christmas Candles stamp set and Poinsettia Corners stamp set. I used the following Copic markers: E42/41/40, R39/37/35, T5/3/1, Y18/11.

I glued down the 3 large candles directly on the card. I also stamped “Christmas” and “sending love & light” on the card panel. Next, I foam mounted the smaller candles, poinsettia, and the “merry” greeting. For added texture and interest, I added Metallic Silver Pearls here and there.

Sneak Peek: October 2021 Dies & Stencils

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today with two cards that use a few of the amazing new stencils (and die) coming to Pretty Pink Posh on October 13th.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: October 2021 Dies & Stencils

My first card uses the new Layered Ornaments Stencil. This is a three pack of stencils that make an adorable card panel. I ink blended each ornament with dye and a small finger dauber. I then used the second stencil and added the ornament detail with a shade darker ink. Lastly, I used the third stencil to add the silver ornament topper.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: October 2021 Dies & Stencils

For my sentiment I used the new Holiday Scripts stamp and coordinating die set. I love this set of sentiments. They are perfect for all of your holiday and winter cards.

My next card uses the new Layered Holly Stencil. The Layered Holly stencils are three stencils that can be layered together to make the most gorgeous background.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: October 2021 Dies & Stencils

I once again used dye ink and started with a light green to make the holly. I then used the second stencil to add the darker leaf vein. Lastly, I used the third stencil to add red berries. I then kept the third stencil in place and added White Glitz Glitter Gel to add a little extra sparkle to the berries.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: October 2021 Dies & Stencils

Next, I used the new Winter Candle die to create my focal image. I die cut the candle from white cardstock and then inlaid the pieces back into the die with colored cardstock. I mounted the candle onto a circle that had been die cut with the Scallop Circle Die. For my sentiment I used the new Christmas Candles set

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you found some inspiration for the new stencils coming to Pretty Pink Posh on October 13th.

Enjoy your day, Dana

Sneak Peek: Winter Circles

Hello friends! It’s Leica here and today I am sharing a sneak peek of the new Winter Circles stamp set. There are 6 different images in this set and they are perfect for Christmas cards and tags. There is also a coordinating die set – a plain circle and a scallop lace circle. I decided to use all the images for my card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Winter Circles

For my card, I first cut a 5×7 panel in white 110 lb cardstock. I then cut a gold cardstock measuring 3.75″x7″ and a teal cardstock measuring 3.5″x7″. I glued these down in the center of the white panel. Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Winter Circles Stamp Set. I colored them with Copic Sketch:

Browns – E25/23/21, E44, E50
Greens – G67/63/61
Golds – Y26/23/21
Teals – BG09/05/13
Reds – R27/24/22
Yellows – Y18/13

Backgrounds

Penguin – B00
Poinsettia- Y21
Candle – R22
Reindeer – G61
Snowman – E50
Holly – BG10

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Winter Circles

I then cut 6 of the scallop lace circles in white cardstock and glued the images on top of each one. Next, I foam mounted them onto the card panel. The sentiments are from the new Holiday Scripts stamp set. I white heat embossed the “merry” and “season’s greetings” on a strip of black cardstock and gold heat embossed the “Christmas” on white cardstock and cut with its coordinating die. I then foam mounted the sentiments onto the card base.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Winter Circles

Lastly, I adhered the base onto a card panel – 7″x10″ scored at the 5″ mark.

That’s all for this Christmas card! I hope that you enjoyed today’s sneak peek and that I’ve inspired you to create holiday cards for your loved ones!

Sneak Peek: Christmas Candles

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a look at the new Christmas Candles stamp set from the October 13th release! This is a beautiful set with a fabulous choices of images. I’m sharing two different styles of card, to show how versatile this set is for your holiday projects.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Christmas Candles

The candle and lantern images in this set look amazing against a dark background. I stamped out one of the lantern images and some holly from the Christmas Candles set and coloured them with copic markers. I’ll list the colours below. I then die cut the image with the coordinating die.

Copic Colours
Lantern C1, C3, C5
Candle: E51, E53, E55
Flame: YR14, YR15, YR16
Glow: Y00, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
Holly leaves: G14, G07, G28

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Christmas Candles

Next, I cut a panel of dark blue patterned paper to cover my 4.25 card base. For the glow from the lantern, I cut a small circle of handmade gel printed background, created using dried marigold and squeezed lemonade distress oxide inks. Tennis elbow means I’m not able to ink blend as much as I would like to right now, so this is a simple (and arm friendly) alternative to creating a background and glow. If you enjoy ink blending your backgrounds, that will look fabulous too.

To create a snowy place for the lantern to sit, I die cut a piece of white glitter card using a die from the previously released Scallop Borders 2 die set. I adhered this onto my card base, then added the lantern on top with foam tape.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Christmas Candles

I love the scripty sentiments in the Pretty Pink Posh stamp sets, especially the coordinating dies for them, as it makes them so much more versatile. I embossed the Merry script word, from the Christmas Candles stamp set, with WOW Opaque Bright White embossing powder on the same patterned paper as the background. I then die cut the word out with the coordinating die. I added a couple of layers of navy die cuts offset behind the word, for dimension and a shadow effect.

I embossed a second sentiment from the set on the background, then adhered the word die above. To fill some of the space in the bottom half of the card, I embossed another sentiment from the Christmas Candles stamp set on navy card, and adhered to the card with double sided tape. I then added the holly images to the card to finish.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Christmas Candles

For my second sneak peek using the Christmas Candles stamp set, I’ve gone for an elegant CAS design. This card would be great for mass producing, as it’s quick to create and looks beautiful.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Christmas Candles

The candles image is coloured with copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. I added a second layer behind for dimension.

Copic Colours
Candle: R24, R27, R39
Flame: Y11, YR14
Holly leaves: G14, G07, G17

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Christmas Candles

For the berries, I thought I’d use some of the beautiful new Metallic Gold pearls. These come in a mixed size pack, and I used the smallest size here. They are really beautiful embellishments.

I cut a 4 inch square panel of white card, and heat embossed sentiments from the Christmas Candles stamp set with WOW Metallic Gold Ruch Super Fine embossing powder.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Christmas Candles

I cut a piece of gold card to fit my 4.25 card base, then adhered the white panel on top, followed by the candles. As a finishing touch, I used some Nuvo White Blizzard glitter drops on the candle flames.

Thank you for joining us for today’s sneak peek. We hope to see you again tomorrow!

Sneak Peek: Holiday Scripts + Poinsettia Corners

Hi Friends! Jane here and I’m thrilled to be sharing a sneak peek at the the new Poinsettia Corners and Holiday Scripts stamp and coordinating die sets part of the October 13th release by Pretty Pink Posh.

To create my first card, I used a piece of white woodgrain cardstock cut to A2 size.  Next, using the winter frame die and white cardstock, a frame was die cut and adhered to my woodgrain background.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Holiday Scripts + Poinsettia Corners

Next, the images from Poinsettia Corners were stamped using Versamark black ink on Bristol smooth cardstock.  The images were colored using various shades of reds, pinks and green colors of Karin Pro brush markers.  A white gel pen used to add white highlights to the images.  Each image was die cut using the coordinating die and adhered using foam tape to the white background.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Holiday Scripts + Poinsettia Corners

The sentiment was stamped using the new Holiday Scripts stamp set and cut using the coordinating dies.  Foam tape was used to adhere the “Merry Christmas” sentiment to the background.  A few of the new Cherry Red pearls were added for embellishment.  The card front was adhered to an A2 card base and that finishes the card.

My next card uses the new Holiday Scripts stamp and coordinating die sets as the center feature. I love all the different combinations of sentiments this set offers!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Holiday Scripts + Poinsettia Corners

Using an A2 piece of Bristol smooth cardstock, the following distress oxide ink colors were blended: tattered rose, spun sugar, victorian velvet, wilted violet,  kitsch flamingo, seedless preserves and worn lipstick.  Next, I used the first part of the Layered Ornament stencil to ink blend grey tops using a grey dye ink.  Then, the following stencil layer was added and I used the coordinating ink colors in distress inks (not oxides) to ink blended background.

After the background was dry, I cut it down to 3.75 inches by 5 inches and mounted it to a white card base using foam tape.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Holiday Scripts + Poinsettia Corners

The sentiments from Holiday Sentiments stamp set were stamped, cut and mounted with foam tape to the center of the card. A few of the new Ivory Pearls were added to the background and that completes the card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Be sure to stop by tomorrow for more sneak peeks of the new October 13th release by Pretty Pink Posh!

Sneak Peek: Snowmen Friends

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a sneak peek of the new Snowmen Friends Stamp Set. This is such a fun set that is perfect for any Christmas projects. It includes 6 different snowmen in adorable winter accessories.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Snowmen Friends

For my slimline card, I cut the largest rectangle from the Slimline: Peekaboo Windows Die in white 110lb cardstock and ink blended the top portion with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and the rest with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I then splattered some white acrylic paint for a snow look. I also white heat emboss the snowflakes and the Let it Snow sentiment from the same Snowmen Friends Stamp Set.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Snowmen Friends

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the snowmen and foam mounted them onto my card base. Here are the Copic Markers I used – BG10, C5/3/1, R39/37/35, RV25/23/21, YR07.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Snowmen Friends

I then cut a strip of red cardstock and white heat embossed the sentiments from the new Holiday Scripts Stamp Set. I used liquid glue to adhere them under the snowmen. I then added some Marshmallow Pearls here and there for added dimension. Lastly, I adhered the slimline card onto a card base.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Snowmen Friends

That’s all for this pink Christmas card. I hope you enjoyed today’s sneak peek! See you tomorrow for another look at the October 13th release.

Sneak Peek: Village + Village Additions

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a look at the new Village stamp set, along with the  Village Additions stamp set, both from the upcoming October 13th release! Have fun creating Village scenes, for Christmas time and beyond.

I stamped out images from both sets with copic friendly black ink. I used a colour palette of turquoise green, red and yellow, then repeated these colours around my card to keep things cohesive. I added some neutrals too. I then die cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Copic colours: Reds: R20, R22, R24, R27
Yellows: Y11, Y13, Y15
Blue Greens: BG23, BG15, BG49
Cool greys: C0, C1, C3, C5
Neutral greys: N3, N5, N7
Browns: E00, E11, E55, E57

For my background, I cut a panel of navy card and added embossed details using the new Snowfall stencil and white embossing powder. I then adhered this to my 5 x 7 card base.

The sentiments are from the fabulous new Holiday Scripts stamp set. I heat embossed both on coloured card in white. I die cut the large Merry word with the coordinating die, adding extra layers behind for dimension. I cut the additional sentiment into a strip and adhered both onto my card.
Next, I added the Village stamp set images to my card, followed by those from the Village Additions stamp set. I added some extra die cut layers behind the images at the front, to give more dimension. There are many more stamps included in the Village Additions set that aren’t shown in my sneak peek today.

I love the vintage vibe to these sets and how you change the scene with the different images from the Village Additions set.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Join us tomorrow for another sneak peek!

Halloween Theme Week- Day 7

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 7

Hi friends, it’s Tammy here and I’m excited to be wrapping up Halloween Theme Week over at Pretty Pink Posh!  I have a fun project to share, using the new Halloween Circles stamp set.

**All items in the Halloween Section are 15% during theme week!

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 7

I LOVE creating little favors and gifts, so I had fun creating these little Halloween Lollipops! To begin, I stamped the images from Halloween Circles, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I then attached the die cut images onto the black cardstock pinked circles. Next, I created the lollipop covers…you guys, they are sooo easy! You could easily mass produce these for the kiddos Halloween class parties, trick-or-treaters, or even co-workers!

Here’s a step-by-step photo tutorial:

First, cut 2 of the mats from the Halloween Circles Coordinating Dies and score at the first angle as shown in picture.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 7

Next, attach them together, lining it up with the score line as shown. Punch a hole in the center and fold towards the center so it makes a little tent.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 7

Insert the lollipop through the punched hole. Just a note: these lollipops were a bit too large in diameter, so I folded down the edges so they didn’t peek out the sides.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 7

Put a glue dot on both sides of the lollipop and fold it up to close.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 7

Once all the lollipop holders were made, I added the Halloween Circles to each one with foam tape. Next, I stamped the sentiment from Monster Hugs onto a white cardstock strip and attached to the front of the lollipop. Lastly, I tied a piece of black ribbon to each lollipop to add a special touch!

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 7

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed Halloween Theme Week and you are inspired to make some “spooky” treats!

Hugs,
Tammy

Halloween Theme Week- Day 6

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 6

Good morning and welcome back to Halloween Theme Week!  It’s Lindsey here. Today I’m using the fabulous Spooky Sky Stencil three ways with a fun, but non-traditional color scheme.  Let’s get started!

As an added bonus this week, everything in the Halloween Section will be an additional 15% off.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 6

I think stencils give you so much bang for your buck, so I wanted to show you a variety of ways to use them. First, I used the Spooky Sky Stencils with some simple ink blending to add bats to my card base. Next, I scraped Nuvo glimmer paste through the star layer.  It adds the most wonderful sparkle and dimension! (Just make sure you have a wet wipe handy to quickly wipe off the extra on the stencil before it dries.)  I knew it would take a bit of time for the paste to dry on my card, so I pulled out my third stencil.  It may look like I blended ink with this one, but I did not.  I used the stencil in a very old school way – I traced the clouds onto vellum using the stencil and then fussy cut them out with scissors.  It brought back happy memories of creating with my mom when I was a child, but it was also another great way to use a stencil and allowed me to perfectly place the clouds to surround my sentiment.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 6

Since my sky was so soft and neutral, I wanted a colorful sentiment. I swayed from traditional rich, fall colors, though, and went with pastels.  I die cut the Happy Halloween Script die three times in white, orange, and pink, and adhered each layer slightly offset to create a colorful shadow.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 6

I finished off my card with the Spooky Fence die, layering a couple die cuts to add dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 6

Thanks so much for joining me today! Make sure to come back tomorrow for the final day of inspiration and don’t forget to stock up on all your favorite Halloween goodies this week while they are on sale 15% off.
