Halloween Theme Week- Day 5

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 5

Hi folks, it’s Kavya and this is my first time on the PPP blog. I am super excited to share this fun pumpkin patch themed Halloween card! The Fall release pairs so beautifully with the Halloween release and here is one way to use them together. Quick note, I do love fussy cutting so this card involves a fair amount of it :)

I first started off by creating a background for my card. I ink blended an A2 cardstock with Seedless Preserve, Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks and used the cloud portion of the Spooky Sky stencils with white pigment ink. For the grass, I used a teal cardstock and ink blended the edges with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide. Then, I splattered some water and matching paint on both :) Then I stamped and colored various images from Halloween CirclesFall Circles and Halloween Wreath stamp sets. For the pumpkin, I decided to use the Elegant Pumpkin die and use the paper piecing technique to ‘color’ the pumpkin using various colored cardstock. I used a darker color for the outline and a lighter color for the inner die cuts. Finally, I finished the card by adding a sentiment out of gold glitter cardstock using the Halloween Script Die.

That’s it folks! I hope this card inspires you to combine various releases to create a fun card!

Happy Crafting, Kavya

Halloween Theme Week- Day 4

Hey crafty friends!  Elaine here today from @pinkpeppermint cards.  I’m so excited to be part of the Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Theme week!  I love Halloween card making and I’m thrilled to be sharing the project I have created.

Have you taken advantage of the 15% savings on Halloween items this week?

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 4

To start my card, I stamped the BOO image from the BOO stamp set on to copic friendly cardstock with a copic friendly black ink. I used a variety of copic markers to colour the images (which are adorably sized and cute).  Once colored, I decided I’d like to give the images an eery spooky feel so I used Distress Ink in Pumice Stone to lightly blend ink around the edges of each letter.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 4

Setting the coloured letters aside, I started working on the layers of the card base.  I took a piece of slate grey card stock cut to 5.25” x 4” and used Distress Ink in Black Soot to lightly blend ink from the outer edges in towards the middle.  I adhered the ink blended panel to an orange A2 cardbase with liquid adhesive.

Before adhering my BOO letters to the card base, I placed the card panel in to my stamping tool and positioned the letters on to the card front as a guide and then stamped the spider (also from the BOO stamp set) with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.  Taking a ruler and copic multiliner, I drew a line upwards for a thread and added eyes with a white gel pen. To adhere my BOO letters to the cardbase I used some foam tape to pop them up and give dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 4

I used another sentiment from the BOO stamp set and white heat embossed on black cardstock and trimmed in to a thin strip.  This was adhered directly to the card with liquid adhesive.  As a final embellishment and to add some sparkle I adhered some mini gold star confetti pieces – I love how they catch the light!

Thank you for stopping by today and joining me for some spooky card making fun! I hope you enjoyed my project and all the inspiration on the blog this week.

Have a great day! Elaine x

Halloween Theme Week- Day 3

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 3

Hi, it’s Jeanne! I hope you’re enjoying Halloween Theme week! It’s a great way to get ideas for some Halloween cards of your own and YES, there is a sale too! Enjoy 15% off all items in the Halloween Section during this event!

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 3

Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love sending out cards to EVERYONE! Special treat bags are set to the side for the neighbors’ kids and when my own were little there was always something special for all the kids in their class.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 3

My card today features the Monster Hugs stamp set. I love these non traditional images because they stand out from all the others.. AND.. I know I’ll be using these all year round for kids birthday cards too! The accent pieces – the candy, stars and moon – are from the Halloween Wreath set.  Do you see the monster holding the lollipop? All of the images are colored with Copic Markers.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 3

I layered the die cut monsters on a Distress Oxide inked background.  Adding stripes of color adds depth and dimension to the design. I applied Salty Ocean where I wanted to place the sentiment so the ink is a little lighter there. Blueprint Sketch finishes off the evening sky. The grassy forefront is inked in Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn.   The panel is splattered with water, watered down Blueprint Sketch and white Ink.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 3

I colored and cut a big stack of these little guys so I know that all of my tags and card are going to come together quick so I can share loads of Monster Hugs!

I hope you enjoyed my card and remember to stop back by tomorrow for some more Halloween fun!

Halloween Theme Week- Day 2

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here with a Halloween card and tag duo using a combination of old and new stamp sets- perfect for Halloween theme week!

Need to stock up on your Halloween items? All this week, save 15% on items in our Halloween section!

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 2

I decided to go with a pastel theme for a lot of my Halloween cards this year. I hope you like the color palette!

Let’s begin. First, I cut a 5 inch white cardstock and ink blended lightly with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I then used the Spooky Sky Stencils to make my own patterned paper: the clouds were blended with Tumbled Glass, bats with Shaded Lilac, and stars with Mustard Seed. I love the layer stencils that Pretty Pink Posh offers. They can easily be used to make your own patterned paper look by ink blending through the stencils with different ink colors or Glitz Glitter Gel. I then cut the panel with a 4.5 inch square die with stitching details all around.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 2

Next, I white heat embossed the Boo word stamp on a violet cardstock and cut with the coordinating dies. I then stamped 3 bats from the Halloween Wreath stamp set and colored them with Copic markers: N3/01/00. For the sentiment, I cut a black strip of cardstock and white heat embossed the Happy Halloween To You from the Boo Stamp Set

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 2

I also cut a 4.5 inch vellum to soften the look of the stenciled panel. The Boo word is foam mounted onto the vellum. I then added glue on the back of the vellum (using the Boo word to hide the glue marks) and adhered to the stenciled panel.

For the tag, I stamped the circle with the bats from the Halloween Circles and colored it with Copic: N3/1/0, V12, Y18/13/11. I then cut the circle with the coordinating die cut. The Halloween Circle Die comes with 3 different die cuts that can be layered together and used for card or tag making. For my tag, I cut the zigzag circle in pink cardstock and the bigger die cut in violet to perfectly match my card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 2

That’s all for this card and tag set. I hope you enjoyed today’s project share! Stop by tomorrow for another day of Halloween inspiration!

Today I have a spooky monster card and video to share. This card features the Boo Shaker die set and the Monster Hugs stamps and dies

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 1

To create this card I first die cut two pumpkin frames out of white cardstock using the Boo Shaker Dies. I then cut the “boo” out of the pumpkins. Next, I traced around the pumpkin frames onto white cardstock and then fussy cut them out. I then ink blended out the frames and the solid pumpkins with several Distress Oxides (Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade & Ripe Persimmon)

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 1

Next, I die cut the solid pumpkins with jack-o-lantern face die from the Boo Shaker die set. I then heat embossed a scrap of cardstock with glitter black embossing powder and then die cut it with the jack-o-lantern face die. I then adhered the pumpkin frames to the solid pumpkins and inlaid the black glittery faces into the pumpkins.

Pretty Pink Posh: Halloween Theme Week- Day 1

Next, I stamped and copic colored several monsters from the Monster Hugs stamp set. When I finished coloring the images I then die cut them out with the matching dies. I then ink blended the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with several Distress Oxides (Wilted Violet, Black Soot, Cracked Pistachio & Peeled Paint). After I finished ink blending I then added water spots and black spots with black watercolor. When the card was dry I then adhered the pumpkins and monsters with foam adhesive. Lastly, I finished the card with a glittery black heat-embossed sentiment which fussy cut out and adhered to the card front with foam adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!

I started my card by stamping my images from the Skiing Bear set with a Copic friendly black ink. I then colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Next, I added a little glitter to my trees and set them aside to dry.

For my card panel I ink blended Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled GlassShaded Lilac and Wilted Violet to make my background. I splattered the background with a little white paint and coordinating reinker and set it aside to dry. I then used the Stitched Borders 1 die to create my hillside. I attached the hills to my card panel and used the Nature Essentials die to frame the panel. Lastly, I attached my images and sentiment with foam adhesive to finish my card.

Colorful Woodland Thanks

Hello, Gemma here today with a card featuring the new Woodland Thanks stamp set. I had fun with a bright colour palette, instead of more traditional fall colours.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Woodland Thanks

I began by stamping a few sheets of the images in the Woodland Thanks stamp set. I used a brown ink to stamp them, which works well for autumn projects and gives a softer outline than my usual black ink. This is Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink, which is copic friendly.

I coloured the images with copic markers, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Woodland Thanks

I arranged the images on a square card base, leaving room for a sentiment in the centre. I adhered them with liquid glue, cutting away anything overhanging the card base edges.

Next, I heat embossed the large ‘Thankful’ word, using a pearlescent copper embossing powder. I die cut the word with the coordinating die, then added a couple of layers behind for dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Woodland Thanks

I stamped an additional sentiment directly on the card base, the adhered the stacked word die above.

To finish, I adhered some Espresso jewels in the smallest size around the card, for a touch of autumn sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you were inspired by this card.

Fall Circles

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with an Autumn card, using the new Pretty Pink Posh Fall Circles. This is such a fun set and the images are perfect for both card and tag making.

Pretty Pink Posh: Fall Circles

To create my card, I started by cutting 2 panels – a 4.5″ square in yellow cardstock and 4″ square in white cardstock. For the smaller panel, I ink blended Gina K. Amalgam ink in Warm Glow through the new Leaves Background Stencil. I then adhered the panel to the larger panel.

Pretty Pink Posh: Fall Circles

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Rich Cocoa ink on 110lb white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers.

Sunflower – YR14, Y18/15, G99/46/43, Y20 for the background
Scarecrow – BG09/05/15, E47/44/43, Y18/15, G20 for the background
Fox- E13/11/00, YR07/04/02, B00 for the background
Leaves – G99/46/43, YR14, Y18/15, YR07/04/02, YR00 for the background

Pretty Pink Posh: Fall Circles

I then cut the circles with one of the dies included in the coordinating die set and foam mounted them on the small panel. For the sentiment, I stamped the word Autumn from the Falling Leaves Stamp Set and cut with the coordinating die. I also cut extras to stack for dimension. Next, I stamped the word greetings on a strip of kraft cardstock and foam mounted it under Autumn. Lastly, I cut a white 4.5″ square, scored at the .25″ mark, and adhered it to the card panel to finish my card.

I hope that I’ve inspired you to create with this new stamp set!

Day 3: Blog Hop+ September Release Now Available

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE //  If you missed Day 2 CLICK HERE

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today with a fun card for fall. The new fall release just might be my favorite release yet, so many amazing new products. Let’s get started…

I started my card by making my background. I used the new Leaf Frame die and ran it through my die cutting machine with no extra shims so I could get an impression of the die on my cardstock. I then used my Copic markers and quickly colored the leaves. I didn’t worry about staying in the lines because I knew it would be covered. Next, I ran the Leaf Frame die through my die cutting machine again with normal pressure to get a clean cut. I then laid the frame over the colored panel to create my background.

Next, I used the Cozy Fall Critters set to stamp my mouse, sentiment and leaves. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I am in love with these critters. They are so cute and perfect for fall. Though I also can’t wait to use them for winter. I think their little sweaters and scarves will be so adorable for a winter scene.

Lastly, I added my images with foam adhesive to finish my card.

PRIZES: be sure to leave comments on each stop. We are giving away 3 $25 gift certificates to three random comments (1 winner each day) left before September 19, 2021 at 11:59 PM PST. I’ll be announcing the winners next week, so be sure to return and see if you are one of the winners!
