Christmas Greetings Foliage

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a square-shaped Christmas card to share with you all. This one is super fun to create and the end result is a beautiful card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Greetings Foliage

With the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor set, I painted sheets of watercolor cardstock in shades of brown, gold, green, red, yellow, and pearl white. I cut the Winter Foliage Dies in these cardstocks and made a floral arrangement by gluing the smaller elements onto the large flower. I then splattered some white paint on the floral piece for added interest.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Greetings Foliage

I prepared a 5.25” card base in white cardstock and layered the front with a gingham patterned paper. I then added a sheet of vellum to soften the background and glued the floral piece on top.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Greetings Foliage

For the sentiment, I white heat embossed “Christmas” on a strip of black cardstock and die cut “Greetings” from the Christmas Greetings Script in silver glitter cardstock. I also cut a few more pieces in white cardstock which I glued on top of each other for dimension. Lastly, it’s not a Pretty Pink Posh card without any bling, so I added pearls here and there for interest.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! We would love to see your projects from this Christmas release!

Warm Winter Mug + Video

Hi crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. I love sipping hot chocolate to stay warm on a cold winter day and today I’m sharing a hot chocolate card to send warm winter greetings.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I used the Winter Mug die set and filled the mug with a candy cane, marshmallows, and holly leaves. I added a snowflake to the front of the mug. I added the mug to two nested ovals.

Pretty Pink Posh: Warm Winter Mug + Video

For my background, I used the Pinstripe Stencil. I inked the stencil with red ink onto white cardstock. I cut my stenciled background with a rectangle die and layered it on a piece of red cardstock.

I added the oval to the top of the pinstripe background and added the poinsettia from the Winter Foliage die set. I love that the layers of the poinsettia can be stacked to add dimension to it.

I stamped the sentiment “Warm Winter Wishes” from the Holiday Sentiments stamp set and added it to my card. I added Ruby Red Pearls to the card and Pine Green Pearls to the center of the poinsettia. My finished card measures 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!

Christmas Foliage

Hello, Gemma here with a card featuring the lovely Winter Foliage die set. This set is packed full of different dies to create seasonal cards.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Foliage

There are lots of possibilities for different combinations, colours and layouts with this set. I chose some different colours of card, including a gold sparkle card. I die cut flowers and foliage using the Winter Foliage die set, then adhered the pieces together.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Foliage

On a mini slimline card base, I stamped a sentiment from the Happy Santa stamp set. I love the mix of fonts and sizes in this sentiment.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Foliage

I adhered the Winter Foliage around the card, using liquid glue, then trimmed away anything overhanging the edges to finish.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this card inspired you to use your die cuts in a new way.

Christmas Mitten Tags

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today and I’m sharing Mitten-shaped shaker tags that I’ve made using the new Mitten Shaker Die

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Mitten Tags

For these gift tags, I cut the mittens in glittered cardstock and cut several pieces in white cardstock, which I glued together to make a well for the shaker. To have a coordinating look to the tags, I used patterned paper from the same paper pad for the backing of the shaker tags. I simply traced the mitten on the patterned paper and acetate and cut to shape.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Mitten Tags

I filled the mittens with Holiday Cheer Mix clay confetti. I then use a cropadile to punch a hole for the tag and twine. I love the way these turned out and I can’t wait to use them for my Christmas gifts.

That’s all for these shaker tags. I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Holidays Foliage

Hello friends! It’s Mindy with you today to share a fun way to color up your die cuts. I’ll be using my Distress Mica Stains but I talk in the video about other ways you can color them up.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Holidays Foliage

Using sprays is a way to quickly add color to your die cuts, add texture and it’s tons of fun! I’m using my seasonal Distress Mica Sprains because they have some gorgeous shine in them that I want on my die cuts.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Holidays Foliage

It’s best to use a watercolor paper when using sprays because it can hold up to water really well. You can either spray directly onto your surface and smoosh your paper into the ink or spray directly onto the paper. Drying the paper and smooshing again will add more texture to the background.

After the paper is completely dry, I can die cut from it using the Winter Foliage dies. I’m also going to die cut the foliage from white cardstock and gold mirror cardstock.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Holidays Foliage

For the center of the flower, I’m going to use Metallic Gold Pearls adhered with liquid glue.

The background for the card was created using the Layering Snowflake stencil blended onto light blue cardstock with a light blue ink. I love how the red pops off of the blue background.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Holidays Foliage

The card is finished off with a sentiment from the Holiday Scripts stamp and coordinating die set.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and it has given you some ideas on how to add color to your die cuts. Thanks for stopping by!

Whimsical Winter Envelope

Hi crafty friends! It’s Dana here today with a Christmas card to share with you all.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Winter Envelope

I started my card by making my card panel with the Layered Snowflakes stencil set. This is a three pack of stencils that layer together to create a full panel of multicolored snowflakes without any making. I used bright pink, aqua and purple dye ink for each layer. Once my panel was finished I added some splatters with white paint and aqua ink.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Winter Envelope

Next, I stamped my images and sentiment with the Holiday Envelopes and Snowmen Friends sets. I colored the images with Copic markers, coordinating the marker colors to my card panel. Once my coloring was finished I used the Holiday Envelopes and Snowmen Friends die sets to cut the images out.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Winter Envelope

To finish my card, I attached a vellum rectangle to the center of my panel. Lastly, I then attached the images with foam adhesive to the front of the card.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card.

Enjoy your day, Dana

Winter Foliage Mitten

Hello, friends! It’s Lindsey here and if you’ve seen any of my projects from this release, it probably comes as no surprise that today’s card uses the new Winter Foliage Dies. I feel like I’m constantly saying how much I adore them and how I want to use them on everything, and well…I pretty much have.  Lol.

Pretty Pink Posh: Winter Foliage Mitten

For today’s card I’ve paired the Winter Foliage Dies with the new Mitten Shaker Dies, and truly they are a match made in heaven. I’m also using a color combo that is making me smile this season: aqua, teal, eggplant purple, white, and grey.

Pretty Pink Posh: Winter Foliage Mitten

It may surprise you, but I’ve used two stencils on this card.  Instead of inking them up, though, I used them to dry emboss. First, I used the Layered Snowflakes Stencil to emboss the card base. I just wanted a few snowflakes in the background, so I only embossed the largest snowflake layer. Next, and you have to look reeeeallly close to see this in the photos, but I embossed the inside of the mittens with the Mini Grid Stencil. I embossed it on the diagonal and it adds some really fun texture.

Pretty Pink Posh: Winter Foliage Mitten

To adorn my mittens I created a floral spray using lots of bits and pieces from my beloved Winter Foliage Dies. I have made so many arrangements with these, and I’m convinced you can’t go wrong. All the stems and florals look great together. I have to admit, though, I just love the little pine cone tucked in there.

Pretty Pink Posh: Winter Foliage Mitten

The sentiment is made up of the “merry” die in the new Merry & Bright Script Dies and “Christmas” that was selectively inked from a sentiment in the Holiday Envelopes stamp set. I just love this rich eggplant color!

Thanks so much for joining me today! This new release is packed full of things that mix and match so perfectly together. You are going to love everything!

Autumn Greetings Fall Card

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with an Autumn Greeting scalloped box card, using the Potted Sunflowers and Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp sets.

Pretty Pink Posh: Autumn Greetings Fall Card

For this card, I first assembled the box card in white cardstock. The panels and grass inserts are ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks in Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, and Tumbled Glass.

Pretty Pink Posh: Autumn Greetings Fall Card

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Potted Sunflowers stamp set and Pumpkin Patch Critter stamp sets. I used the following Copic markers:

Cat – E35/33/31
Mouse – W5/3/1
Pots – E13/11/00
Pumpkins – YR18/16/14
Sunflowers – E49/47/44, Y18/15/13

Pretty Pink Posh: Autumn Greetings Fall Card

I adhered the images onto the inserts and added the sentiment onto the front panel of the box.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope that I’ve inspired you to make Autumn-theme cards for your loved ones.

Happy Thanksgiving Foliage

Hello crafty friends, Raquel here today! I want to share a colorful project I made using the recently released Layered Apples Stencil.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Thanksgiving Foliage

I must admit, I felt in love with all the layered stencils from this release. They are simply perfect to create colorful designs in no time. I particularly love the process of choosing colors, mixing and matching and lifting the stencil for the final reveal!

I wanted to create a monochromatic background with red and pink apples. I used Moroccan Spice, Fire Coral and Poppin’ Pink ins from MFT.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Thanksgiving Foliage

First, I applied Moroccan Spice on the left-hand side of each apple. I went in a diagonal order to save some time. Then I applied Fire coral and Poppin’ Pink making sure I left a small spot white so I could have some high lights on the apples.

Next up I colored the leaves and the small stem using Jalapeño Popper and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Once my background was ready I decided to use and A2 size piece of vellum onto the background to create a wreath.

Pretty Pink Posh: Happy Thanksgiving Foliage

I used the Valentine Circles coordinating die as the center of my wreath. Then I stamped the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment and foam mounted it in the center. I used several dies from the Fall Basket set to create my wreath in different colors and arranged them all around the circle:

I hope this card inspires you to create with these fun, unique and gorgeous products! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Raquel
