Day 3: Blog Hop- June Release Now Available

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE //  If you missed Day 2 CLICK HERE

Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Leica here, and I have a super fun shaker card to share with you today, featuring the awesome new Fruit Mug Additions Dies. I absolutely love how this card turned out, and I’m sure the lucky recipient will enjoy it too.

To get started, I took a white cardstock and cut it to A2 size. I then blended Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide Ink all over it. To add some extra pizzazz, I used the Starburst Stencil and applied Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink. For a bit of flair, I splattered some white acrylic paint on the card panel. I softened the background by adding a sheet of vellum and framed the panel with a white frame.

Next, I used pink cardstock to cut out a mug shape using the Winter Mug Dies. I made a window on it to turn it into a shaker element. I thought it would be cute to make it look like a small glass for my milkshake, so I cut the handle off. For the shaker bits, I used the Strawberry Banana Clay Confetti. I also cut out five strawberries from the Fruit Mug Addition Dies. I watercolor some paper in red for the strawberries and used Copic markers to color the leaves. To complete the milkshake, I cut out a teal straw and white shimmer cardstock for the whipped cream. I arranged all these elements on the card panel.

For the sentiment, I stamped “You’re Berry Sweet” on a strip of pink cardstock. I added some Bubblegum Pearls here and there for extra interest. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto an A2-sized cardstock.

Day 2: Blog Hop- June Release Now Available

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I have a new post and video to share today. I just love the new fruit themed products from the brand new release and when I saw the Mini Scallop Card Dies, an idea popped into my head to make little cards that I think would be so cute as a gift.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I stamped and colored images from the Citrus stamp set, Fresh Berries stamp set and Watermelon stamp set. They have been stamped in alcohol marker friendly black ink and colored in with Ohuhu Art Honolulu Markers. I have a coloring guide if you would like to see what I used to color in each of the fruits and different leaf combinations!

I also used their coordinating dies (Citrus, Fresh Berries, Watermelon) to cut out the images and added highlights with a white gel pen.

Using the colors I used for my fruit as inspiration, I picked colored cardstock and cut the Mini Scallop Card Dies base in the three colors for each card. There is a stitched rectangle die in this set as well so I cut white cardstock for the inside of my cards for a sentiment. I will also use this stitched rectangle to cut the background for the front of the card, but that will come later.

In my video I begin with creating my stenciled backgrounds to coordinate with the stamped images. I started with Layered Citrus Stencils with (A) Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide, (B) Mustard Seed Distress Oxide, and (C) Shooting Star Lunar Paste. The next background was created with Layered Watermelon Stencils with (A) Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide, (B) Twisted Citron Distress Oxide, Lucky Clover Distress Oxide, and (C) Black Tie Stencil Butter. Finally, the last background was Layered Strawberries Stencils with (A) Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide, Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide, (B) Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide, (D) Lucky Clover Distress Oxide, (C) Chocolate Stencil Butter, and Shooting Star Lunar Paste.

When the backgrounds were dry, I brought back the stitched square from the Mini Scallop Card Dies and die cut as many backgrounds I could fit so I can save these for future projects!

After assembling the Mini Scallop Cards together, I added in some extra shine with new shimmer mixes in Lemon, Lime, and Strawberry. I hope these mini cards bring you inspiration today!

Day 1: Blog Hop- June Release Now Available

The June 2023 Release is now available in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop and select retailers that carry our products. If you missed our post yesterday, we revealed all of the products in picture form, but if you would like to see them in a video, Mindy has that for you today!

Hi Pretty Pink Posh friends! Raquel here and I’m so happy to be sharing with you how I made this sweet Mini Scalloped Slimline card using the new Mini Scallop Card die and the Citrus Stamp Set from the brand new release.

I started this project by coloring these super cute images from the Citrus stamp set and the berries from the Fresh Berries stamp set

I used Y00. Y02, Y06, Y11, Y13 and YG01 for the Lemons and G17, YG09, and YG00 for the leaves. I colored the small flowers with R00 and R20.

I wanted to add some extra color apart from yellow so I used the berries with RV66, RV09, RV17 and RV52 copic markers.

Once I had all my images colored, I decided to use the Mini Scallop Card die to create a base to my design.

All I had to do was partial die cutting, so I first run it through my die cutting machine making sure the top plate was only covering half of the die. Once it was cut, I put the die on top of the die cut piece again though this time the top plate covered the other half of the die.

To add some extra interest, I applied some splatters using white pearl watercolors.

For my sentiment I used the new Large Smile Shadow die using a bright summery teal cardstock and even added some extra foliage using the Stitched Leafy Borders die set coloring them with YG03 and YG 17 Copic markers.

I hope you like this non-conventional use of the Mini Scallop card die. I always have so much fun trying to come up with new ideas for using the products we have in different ways.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

Hello, friends! It’s Lindsey here, and I’m delighted to be giving you a sneak peek of some of the fun new dies releasing this month.  If you are wondering if there will be another addition to the mug lineup, the answer is yes! The new Fruit Mug Additions are darling, so I had to use them right away.

New release will be available June 7th

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

I fully embraced a tropical theme on this one and used lots of bright colors.  I started with a lime green Winter Mug and used a fun new die in the Fruit Mug Additions to cut out a window and fill it with the new Lemon Lime Clay Confetti.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

Then I added a straw, some strawberries, lemon slices, and pineapple all from the the Fruit Mug Additions.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

If you know me, this may come as a shocker, but I decided to create my background entirely out of pinks.  I broke up the space by using the stitched scalloped edge in the Stacked Edges 3 Dies. This created a lovely place for my mug to sit.

To enhance the theme, I added some tropical foliage around my mug that I made using the Hibiscus Flowers stamp set and coordinating dies.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

I used the new Friend Shadow Dies for my sentiment.  There are so many secondary sentiments that pair well with this die, and I thought this one from from the Build A Cupcake stamp set was just right for this card.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

Okay, now for my second card. This fruit inspired release has been a bit of heaven for me. Fruit has been my favorite food for as long as I can remember, and I have a special love for all things citrus.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

I did a bunch of tone-on-tone stamping with the new Citrus stamp set to create a pile of lemons, limes, and oranges.  Then I die cut the fabulous new Fruit Bowl to hold all the citrusy goodness.

The Spring Foliage dies reminded me a bit of fresh herbs, so I cut some and added them around my bowl .

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

I also added a few flowers from the Spring Foliage dies along with an orange wedge from the Fruit Mug Additions

The scallop square acting as a linen on my card is half of the new Mini Scallop Card Die. It makes the cutest little cards, but it also ended up being just what I needed to anchor my fruit bowl.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

I dry embossed the card base using the Trellis Stencil to add a little texture and finished my card off with a sentiment from the the Citrus stamp set paired with just the script word from the Friend Shadow Die.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Dies

Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you’ve enjoyed getting a peek of some of the fabulous dies releasing this month. Make sure to come back tomorrow for a picture look at all the new products.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Stencils

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am excited to be back today to share a sneak peek of a few of the new stencils coming to Pretty Pink Posh. The new release is packed full of fun new products for all of your summer crafting and includes four new stencil sets. Today I will be using the new Layered Citrus set along with the Layered Strawberries set.

New release will be available June 7th

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Stencils

My first card uses the Layered Citrus stencil set. This is a three pack of stencils that layer together to create a fun citrus pattern. I used finger daubers and dye ink for my blending. Such an adorable summer design…

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Stencils

Next, I used the Winter Mug dies along with the new Fruit Mug Additions die set to create my shaker. I filled the shaker with Lemon Lime Mix and then attached it to my card panel. I then used the Fruit Mug Additions set to create my citrus slices and straw. This set includes so many fun accessories and dies! You will love it!!

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Stencils

Lastly, I used the Stitched Strip die to create my sentiment strip. I ink blended the strip with a soft orange ink and then used the Citrus stamp set to stamp my sentiment.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Stencils

I started my next card by using the Layered Strawberries stencil set to create my card panel. This is a set of four stencils that layer together to create a sweet strawberry pattern. I once again used finger daubers and dye ink for all of my blending. I then added a few red splatters to my panel for a little added detail.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Stencils

Next, I used the Fresh Berries stamp set to stamp my images and sentiment. I colored the strawberries and leaves with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then trimmed my panel down and added a vellum rectangle to the center. Lastly, I attached the strawberry images and sentiment to my panel with foam adhesive.

Sneak Peek: June 2023 Stencils

Thanks for joining me today! I know you will love these amazing new stencils and I can’t wait to see what you create with them!

Enjoy your day, Dana

Sneak Peek: Fresh Berries

Hi folks, Kavya here with a fun sneak peek for the Fresh Berries set! I absolutely love how well this month’s products are filled with fun puns. My card today reminds me of my grandmother’s fruit jam and I can’t wait to send this to her!

New release will be available June 7th

I first started off by ink blending my card base sigh pink dye ink and added a brown wood grained cardstock at the bottom. Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Fresh Berries and created a shaker element out of the jar from Spring Jar stamp set. This requires a bit of fussy cutting but it’s worth it! I also added a handwritten vellum ‘jam’ label to the jar. I filled the jar using shaker elements from Strawberry Shimmer Confetti, Flower Garden and Strawberry Banana.

Lastly, I added a sentiment and I was done.

I hope this card inspires you. Join us tomorrow for a sneak peek of the new stencils!

Happy crafting, Kavya

Sneak Peek: Fruit Borders + Fruit Salad

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am so excited to be sharing a little peek at two new sets: Fruit Borders stamp set with coordinating dies and Fruit Salad stamp set with coordinating dies. These new 4×6 stamp sets have adorable fruits and sentiments perfect for a summer barbeque! Let’s make a card featuring these sets along with a few other new items from the upcoming release.

New release will be available June 7th

Sneak Peek: Fruit Borders + Fruit Salad

I started with stenciling the new Starburst Stencil with Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides onto a piece of pale pink cardstock that is cut to 4×5-1/4″ in size. My sunburst is not quite centered because I raised the stencil up as I knew my basket of fruit was going to be a little higher than the center of the card.

While I warmed up my Glimmer Hot Foil System, I cut the Fruit Bowl Dies out of a pink cardstock, but just the solid bowl image. I also cut out the shadow of the Friend Shadow Dies twice out of white cardstock. Once my system was ready, I hot foiled the Friend Script Hot Foil Plate with a matte pink foil onto a piece of colored vellum cardstock. I also cut it out with the Friend Shadow Dies.

Sneak Peek: Fruit Borders + Fruit Salad

Next I stamped the border stamp with the banana, peach, pear, pineapple and grapes from the Fruit Borders stamp set as well the same fruits from the Fruit Salad stamp set in an alcohol marker friendly brown ink. I colored them in with alcohol markers – I used Ohuhu Art Honolulu B Markers. After adding some white highlights with a gel pen, I used their Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

After adding highlights to the pink Fruit Bowl, I also embossed the “miss you bunches” sentiment from the Fruit Salad stamp set in white embossing powder. I arranged the fruits inside the bowl and glued them inside. I also glued the friend layers together to create a sturdy sentiment. Now it’s time to assemble the card!

Sneak Peek: Fruit Borders + Fruit Salad

Using a tape runner, I glued the Fruit Border towards the bottom of the stenciled background, about a 1/2″ from the bottom. The border will hang off the edges a little and I trimmed them down before gluing to an A2 card base. I added foam adhesive to the back of the assembled fruit bowl and glued it so the sunburst is coming from the center of the assembled bowl. Next I adhered the Friend Script sentiment onto the bowl.

Finally, I glued down a few Strawberry Shimmer Mix in a couple different sizes around my fruit bowl for some extra shine. I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek; you’re absolutely going to love the rest of the June 7th release!

Sneak Peek: Citrus + Watermelon

Hello, Gemma here today with a sneak peek of the new Citrus and Watermelon stamp sets. Perfect for fresh, summary cards.

New release will be available June 7th

Sneak Peek: Citrus + Watermelon

The citrus set includes orange and lemon / lime images, along with two fun sentiments.

I stamped out the images and coloured them with copic markers. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies. Instead of green leaves, I went with a navy blue as I love the colour combo with the orange and yellow. The images I’ve coloured as lemons can also be limes.

Copic colours: Lemons: Y00-Y15; Orange: YR01-02 YR14-18; Orange slice: Y00 YR00 YR14-18; Leaves: B93-97; Flowers: B91

Sneak Peek: Citrus + Watermelon

Next, I stamped the sentiments from the stamp set in the center of a square card panel, using embossing ink. I then heat embossed them with a navy embossing powder, to complement the colours scheme. I adhered this panel to a top folding card base (5.25″ square).

Sneak Peek: Citrus + Watermelon

I arrange the images around the sentiment, then adhered the larger images with foam tape, and the smaller images with liquid glue.

Sneak Peek: Citrus + Watermelon

The Watermelon set includes the whole melon and two different slices, along with some pretty leaves. There are a selection of different sentiments too.

As before, I stamped out the images and coloured them with copic markers. I enjoyed colouring these as they were quick and the colours are really fun. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Sneak Peek: Citrus + Watermelon

Copic colours: Watermelon: G12 G14 G17 G07; Watermelon slices:  G14 G17 RV21 RV23 RV25 E000 Leaves: G17 G28.

Next, I cut a panel of black and white striped patterned paper (2.75 x 5.25″). I adhered the images on top – using foam tape for the melon and slices, then liquid glue for the other images. I allowed the images to go over the edges, cutting away the overhang, to give the look of a pattern that continues. The bright coloured images are a fun contrast against the black and white stripes.

I adhered this panel to a 5.25″ card base. Above the panel, I added two Stitched Strips in pink and green, to give the edge a nice finish.

Sneak Peek: Citrus + Watermelon

For the sentiment, I stamped out the ‘Melon’ word in pink ink. This has a coordinating die so I used this to cut out the word and added extra layers for dimension. I stamped the accompanying sentiment in black and cut into a strip. I popped this up with foam tape.

Thanks so much for joining me today! Stop by tomorrow for another sneak peek of the June 7th release!

Make A Wish Shaker

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a fun, square-shaped, shaker, birthday card using the latest stencils and dies from Pretty Pink Posh. If you’re a fan of the PPP layered stencils like I am, I know you will love the Layered Birthday Cakes Stencils

Make A Wish Shaker

For my card, I started with a 5” square white cardstock and I inked through the A layer of the Layered Birthday Cakes Stencils with Gina K Amalgam Ink in Warm Glow. For the B layer, I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, and Twisted Citron. For the C layer, I used Spun Sugar, and for the last layer, I used Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink. I chose these colors to match the Birthday Cake Clay Confetti

Make A Wish Shaker

To make the shaker, I cut a square frame using square dies, glued a sheet of acetate and added foam tape around the frame. I placed the clay confetti in the middle of the card panel and removed the backing of the foam tape to close the card.

Make A Wish Shaker

Next, I cut the Make a Wish Script in pink cardstock and glued it onto the acetate. Lastly, I glued the card panel onto a 5” square card base. And that completes my shaker card!

Today is the LAST day to take advantage of the Memorial Day Savings with code: MEMORIAL23

I hope that you’ve enjoyed today’s card share and that I’ve inspired you to create a shaker card with this PPP stencil. Thanks for stopping by!
