CAS Seashell Wreath

Hello, Gemma here today to share a CAS card featuring the Seashell Wreath.

I began by heat embossing the Seashell Wreath stamp with a pearl white embossing powder. This gives a subtle look on white card, with beautiful shimmer where the light hits. It’s perfect for the seashells in this wreath.

I die cut the wreath with the coordinating die, and added a couple of layers behind for dimension.

As I used embossing powder, it’s advised not to colour with alcohol markers. Instead I reached for my zig clean colour brush markers, which I haven’t used in ages. Although I didn’t use watercolour card, they blended quite well.

There are some sentiments in the Seashell Wreath stamp set, which fit perfectly inside the wreath. I die cut another white card layer, keeping the centre part this time. I marked an arrow on the wreath, so I knew which was the top, then stamped a sentiment in the centre. I adhered this to the back of my coloured seashell wreath.

For my background, I die cut a Scallops Pierced Plate, adhering it to an A2 card base. I then added the wreath with sentiment on top to finish.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
