This card is easy to make. I stamped the images from the Giving Thanks and Camping Friendsstamp sets. The images and ground were colored with Copic markers. The measurement of the card base is 7 ¼ x 4 ¼.
Next, I distressed the top of the ground to give it an interest in colors.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment “Happy Thanksgiving” from Giving Thanks stamp set and the “hello there” was from the Camping Friends stamp set. I also added some Sparkling Clear sequins to finish it off.
I hope you enjoyed! Enjoy the rest of our Thanksgiving Theme Week!

Hello, Pretty Pink Posh fans! This is Yana and I have a video tutorial to share today featuring one of the new stamp sets – Giving Thanks.
This stamp set, even though it’s focused towards Thanksgiving, can be used for a variety of Fall projects. Today I’m using botanical images to stamp a unique Fall background.
I filmed a video tutorial to walk you through the process from start to finish and explain everything in detail.
I wanted to create a one layer card so I started by stamping my sentiment first. When stamping a pattern I sometimes forget I need to leave room for my sentiment and then have to add it as a second layer and cover up a part of my background. For this particular card I wanted the sentiment to be placed on the same layer as my pattern so I started by stamping the sentiment first.
Next I arranged the images around it – I used several leaves, pumpkins and also tiny leaves and an acorn to stamp my background. I didn’t have enough images to cover the entire A2 card front at once, so I had to re-arrange stamps and stamp each image about 4 times to be able to cover the entire panel.
Because I wanted to watercolor these images I did my stamping on watercolor paper and used a waterproof ink. There are many ways how these images can be colored, so pick the way you are most comfortable with and select the paper and ink best suitable for your coloring method.
I didn’t do anything special in terms of coloring. I used Derwent Inktense pencils and quickly added color to my background. I used 5 colors and tried to keep each color to each specific image.
Lastly, I added some shimmer using Wink of Stella Glitter Pen, drew in white dots on the leaves and pumpkins and adhered several small and medium Clear droplets scattering them on the background.
Hello and Happy Halloween! It’s Keeway again and I’m back for my second guest post for Pretty Pink Posh. For all of you taking the kids out for trick or treating, stay safe! I recently moved to my first home only a week ago and my neighbors have decorated their homes for all the trick or treaters tonight. I hope there’s a nice turnout or else I’m going to end up with a lot of candy…eeks!
Hopefully your Halloween cards are all sent out, cause it’s time to get started on those winter holiday cards! Have you seen how cute the holiday sets in the October release are? Today I’ll be showing off one of them today, the Winter Wonderland stamp set.
Admittedly, today’s card took quite a bit of time since there’s a lot of layers involved even though it might not look like it! I started with blue A2 sized card stock and die cut Storybook 1 in the center. Then I heat embossed a few snowflakes from the stamp set in white in the top left and bottom right corners.
Next, I die cut the same Storybook 1 on white cardstock, extracted the pieces within the windows to inlay in the blue windows. I cut a curve in the top 2 pieces leaving areas window for my shaker window.
So here’s where it gets interesting and some piecing together. First, I adhered a piece of acetate directly behind my blue cardstock. Next, I inlaid my die cut snow pieces back into the window. Then, I added craft foam in back, all around the areas outside the clear windows, leaving a small area to add some Winter Sparkle Mix Sequins.
Now to seal all the sequins in, I need to add a background. I used another piece of white cardstock, blended on some tumbled glass distress ink, and then heat embossed my sentiment “baby it’s cold outside” in silver right where it will show in the top right window. Woohoo, now the shaker scene is done!
Lastly, I stamped my the eskimo, igloo, and polar bear on white cardstock and colored them up with copic markers. Then I die cut them with the Winter Wonderland coordinating dies and adhered them to my card with foam squares. It’s finally done!
Hope you enjoy today’s post and thanks for dropping by! Thanks Paulina for having me!
If you’ve been following Pretty Pink Posh for a while, you know that last year we did an epic collaboration blog hop with our friends at Altenew. We had so much fun teaming up with them that we had to do it again, but even BIGGER!
Today I have the amazing Yana Smakula sharing her take on bringing Pretty Pink Posh and Altenew together on one beautiful holiday project. Let’s see what she’s created…
When you mix supplies from two great companies you end up having fantastic results! To create the card I’m sharing here I used several dies sets from Pretty Pink Posh (along with a few sequins) and a stamp set from Altenew.
I started working on this card by stamping the poinsettia, holly leaves and pine from the Poinsettia and Pine set several times onto watercolor paper using waterproof ink in black. I knew I wanted to have a dimensional flower, so I made sure to stamp poinsettia twice to be able to layer it and have actual physical dimension on my project. I used distress inks for some quick coloring, although you can use whatever coloring medium you prefer.
Next I used a few dies from Pretty Pink Posh and created a base panel for my project. I cut several panels out of patterned paper and combined them together by using border dies from the Stitched Borders 2 and Scallop Borders sets. I also heat embossed a beautiful holiday sentiment from the Sketchy Landmarks set onto this patterned paper using gold embossing powder.
To create a placeholder for the Holiday floral arrangement I die cut scallop oval out of gold foil cardstock and patterned paper using Scallop Ovals Dies. My poinsettia was arranged on top and I also stamped several pine needles in black directly onto the patterned paper panel.
To frame everything I die cut the large Scallop Frames out of brown patterned paper and foam mounted it over the background panel to add dimension to this project. Lastly, I foam mounted my panel onto a light gray card base and embellished my card with the Peridot Mist sequins and Clear Droplets.

Hello crafty friends, this is Julia again! Today I am going to show you how you can use an optical illusion for a super neat card design that can be adapted to all sorts of shapes and stamp sets. Let’s have a look!
As you can see, the big Stitched Hexagons shape die is perfect for this card. I think there might be an easier way to go about creating the shape, but I though it was easiest to cut out the Hexagon first and then die cut all the other shapes from the Giving Thanks set from it.
The main trick is to make sure you have many shapes that go over the edge of the Hexagon. By having many partial die cuts you’ll be able to re-create the hexagon shape later on, even though it’s just an illusion. But this is just a neat trick our brain plays on us because it needs to make sense of everything, and so it fills in the blanks and suddenly you have a shape emerging before your eyes.
I decided to color these images once I had them adhered with foam to the card. You could very well also just mounts the black and white images to a kraft card base (perfect for fall), or if you have winter images mount them on a blue or red card base, etc.
Want to see how to create this card from start to finish? Click on the graphic below!
Of course I had to sprinkle some sequins inbetween the die cuts – fortunately, the 4mm Wildflowers Mix took the guesswork out of the equation, and I had to add in some 3mm Sparkling Clear sequins because I have a Sparkling Clear addiction!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
Hello there! It’s Keeway and I’m so thrilled to be here today as guest designer for Pretty Pink Posh. I don’t know about you, but I have been drooling over all the projects made with the October release. This release is a knock out and just filled with cuteness!!
We’re just less than 2 weeks away from Halloween so I thought it would be a perfect time show off the Halloween Friends set in today’s card. The first cutie that caught my attention in this set is the butterfly bear so I just had to color him up immediately!
I started by stamping the bear in a milk chocolate hybrid ink on white cardstock, and colored him with copic markers. I then die cut him with the Halloween Friends coordinating dies.
Next, on an A2 sized white cardstock base, I used a circle die to help me draw a circle in pencil to serve as guidelines for stamping my circle of candy. Of course, you can use anything to help you draw the circle. Sometimes I grab my washi tape, or water bottle, or whatever happens to be in my reach!
I then used the same milk chocolate hybrid ink and stamped the small candies and 2 of the ghosts in a circle. Then, I was able to color them in with copic markers.
The last part is positioning what goes in the middle. I used my mini MISTI to help me position the sentiment. I stamped it once before adding my butterfly bear, and then once after gluing the bear down. If you look closely, part of the first “t” touches the bear’s right wing, and the MISTI helped me ensure that I am stamping the same place. That finishes my “almost” single layer card!
I don’t have a card for today but I will share my traveler’s notebook story with Pretty Pink Posh products! Traveler’s notebooks are very popular right now, and I love to use it too! The size is just the perfect fit for me; so handy to carry and easy to keep nearby. I will show you how I made my DIY traveler’s notebook insert and share how I used my Pretty Pink Posh products for memory keeping and journaling in my traveler’s notebook.
Here’s a video to show how I created the notebook and decorated the pages with Pretty Pink Posh stamps and dies.
Hello friends!! Amy L. here today with a winter card featuring the Winter Wonderland Stamp Set, Winter Wonderland Die Set and Holiday Greetings Stamp Set (free gift with $100 purchase while supplies last). I grew up in Hong Kong where it doesn’t snow. So, when I moved to the US, I was so happy because I could see and touch real snow! Here is my snowy card inspired by the sentiment “Let it snow” ☺
Here is how I made my card:
On a watercolor paper, mask off a slope. Blend distress inks in Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet. Add droplets of Perfect Pearl solution and white paint splatters
Use the Stitched Hexagons Dies to die cut through the scene. Die cut another smaller hexagon from watercolor paper. Blend Mermaid Lagoon and Seedless Preserves distress inks. Treat with Perfect Pearl and white splatters. White heat emboss the sentiment
Stamp the igloo with Antique Linen distress ink. Watercolor with Tumbled Glass. Die cut out with coordinating die
Stamp out some snowflakes with distress inks in the same colors. Die cut out accordingly
Hi everyone! Amy K. here for this month’s Throwback Thursday with creative uses for some of the previously released dies.
I decided to focus on the Storybook 1 die(one of the original dies). I works fabulous as a back drop for a fun spooky scene using some of the new Pretty Pink Posh release including Halloween Friends. I created an inked blended background as Yana did HERE. This technique is quick and easy……I encourage you to go watch! I used the same Distress Inks for a similar look and added a few flicks of white acrylic paint!
I die cut my Storybook 1 die out of white cardstock and then carefully cut to create a border so that I would have a “frame” to start my scene. All my images were Copic colored, die cut, and adhered with foam adhesive to create my scene. My sentiment was white heat embossed in one of the panels of the Storybook 1 die. These dies provide a super place for sentiment placement!
Along with this Halloween card that Amy has shared with us, I have a few cards that have used the Storybook 1in the past. Click on the photos below to see the original post from the designers.
Thanks for visiting the blog today! I hope you are inspired to create new cards using this older, versatile die!
