October Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1
Hi, everyone! It’s Marge here for you and I’m sharing two Christmas cards with clean designs that feature some of the new October Release from Pretty Pink Posh.
For my first card, I heat embossed Winter Wreath in gold on watercolor paper, then I colored in the wreath using Zig Clean Brush Markers. Next, I die cut the wreath using the Winter Wreath Coordinating Dies.
I decided to make the wreath into a shaker, so I adhered a piece of acetate film on the back of the wreath and put Double Sided Foam Squares and Double Sided Foam Strips on it.Next, I prepared a white card base, place my wreath on it to check where I would put sequins, then I stamped a sentiment from the Winter Wreath set on the bottom, and placed shaker elements on it as shown in the picture below.
Then, I adhered the wreath onto the card base with caution and finished assembling the shaker. I put the brand new Celebration Confetti Mix together with Sparkling Clear Snowflakes, Snowflake Sequins Mix, Sparkling Clear Seed Beads, Gold Shimmer Seed Beads, and Autumn Seed Beads into the shaker.
As a final embellishment, I added a yellow baker’s twine and Sparkling Clear Snowflakes with 3mm Clear Sparkling Sequins on each snowflake.
My second card is very similar to the first one in design concept. This time, I heat embossed the JOY stamp set using rose gold embossing powder for a softer look. I colored them and cut them all using JOY coordinating dies.
Do you see the letter “O” was made into a shaker? I used the same technique as in my first card and I put Metallic Rose Gold Confetti Mix together with Sparkling Clear Seed Beads, Gold Shimmer Seed Beads here.
The sentiment from the same JOY set was also heat embossed in white on a piece of deep red cardstock and was foam mounted on the bottom of the card base. In turn, I added Sparkling Clear Snowflakes and red twin and finished off my card.
