Sneak Peek: October 2019 Stencils

Hi Friends, Angelica here and have a fun card to share today feature the new Snowflakes Stencil, which is one of FIVE of the new stencils. I am addicted to snowflakes, and couldn’t wait to get busy with this stencil!

I started this card by making the background. I used Sapphire, Sky Blue, and Violet liquid watercolors on watercolor paper. I painted the paper with clean water, and added drops of color. I let the panel air dry between layers. One finished, I attached the stencil to the panel, and spread a thin layer of Ranger Texture Paste.

I used an ornament from Stitched Ornaments Die Set die-cut this pretty textured paper. I die-cut silver glitter card stock with the topper die, and trimmed a tiny glitter strip to hang the ornament on. I used a bow from the Twine and Bows Die Set to die-cut the silver bow. I stamped and silver heat embossed a sentiment from the new Winter Wreath Stamp Set, trimmed it, and added it to the ornament with thin foam squares.

To assemble the card, I trimmed the background to 4 x 5.25″, and added it to a card base with foam adhesive. I used Multi Media Matte to attach the string, ornament, and bow. My final touch was adding a single Pearl White Jewel to the bow.
