Easter Theme Week- Day 5

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

Hi All! It’s Melody here today for the last day of Easter Theme Week. We hope you have enjoyed the inspiration this week. All the products in the Easter Section are 15% off through March 30, 2020.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

I have two projects to share with you. My first card features the Spring Days stamp set and the Spring Days coordinating dies. I stamped the cute bunnies and the egg border in black ink, colored with Copic Markers, and then die cut the images. I love the scalloped frame die that is included in the die set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

To create the background I used a blender brush and a purple ink on white cardstock with the Easter Background Stencil

At the bottom of the card I added a border of white cardstock die cut with the Eyelet Borders Dies. I cut the border again from a green cardstock and added the green behind the white. The sentiment  is from the Easter Eggs stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

The centerpiece of my second card is the Decorative Cross Die. This die is perfect for Easter but I think it would work perfectly for Baptisms, Confirmations, and Sympathy cards.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

I cut a piece of white cardstock for the card front and lightly brushed the paper with a pale yellow ink. Then I die cut the Decorative Cross Die directly into the card front. Next I die cut the cross a few more times in a variety of colored cardstock and inlayed the pieces into the card front. I added a border to each side of the card front with the Eyelet Border Dies

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 5

The sentiment is die cut with the Spring Blessings Script Die. I dotted the “I” in blessing with a jewel from the Amethyst Jewels Mix.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you were inspired by our week of Easter Theme Week!

Easter Theme Week- Day 4

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

Good Morning Friends! It is Dana here today, and I am excited to be sharing some inspiration for Easter Theme Week with you all. I love how some of the older products can be mixed and matched and coordinate so well with the new release. Let’s get started, shall we?

Don’t forget: ALL items in the Easter section are 15% off this week!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

For my first card, I began by creating my background. I sprayed the back of the Easter Background Stencil with Pixie Spray to hold the stencil in place. I then attached the stencil to a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended Distress Oxide Ink onto my panel. The colors I used were: Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

Next, I applied Glitz Glitter Gel in White over my background and stencil.

*I only picked up the stencil to take my photo…for this step you want to apply the Glitz Gltter Gel without moving the stencil. The Glitz Glitter Gel creates such a gorgeous sparkly background!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

I set my background aside to dry and began working on the rest of my card. I stamped the adorable bunny and flowers from the Bunny Friends stamp set. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

I attached my bunny and flowers to a vellum scalloped square, die cut with the Spring Days Die Set. Lastly, I used the Spring Blessings Script Die to die cut my sentiment. I attached this to my card panel with a little liquid glue to finish my card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

For my next card, I once again began by creating my background. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade along with the Easter Background Stencil. Once I had applied my ink, I added Glitz Glitter Gel in White to my background…creating another sparkly card panel!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

I stamped the bunny friends from the Spring Days stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers. I then used the Spring Days die set to die cut my square and scalloped frame.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

To finish my card, I once again used the Spring Blessings Script Die for my sentiment. As you can see, I die cut my sentiment a few times and stacked them. This helps add a little dimension and stability to the sentiment.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 4

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards! I hope to be back soon to share another project with you all.

Also, remember that all of the products in the Easter Category are 15% off this week only. Happy Shopping!

Easter Theme Week- Day 3

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 3

Hi everyone! Jane here and I’m so happy to be sharing this card featuring products from the new Pretty Pink Posh release for Easter Theme Week!

Don’t forget: ALL items in the Easter section are 15% off this week!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 3

To start, I ink blended the background on an A2 piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using the Easter Background stencil. The following Catherine pooler inks were used: shea butter, tiki torch and it’s a girl. Then the panel was cut using the Eyelet Borders die set and foam mounted to an A2 card base.

Flower and butterfly images from the Spring Scene die set were cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. The images were then watercolored using zig real brush markers and adhered to the card front using liquid glue.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 3

I used a piece of black card stock to cut the sentiment from the Spring Blessings Script die and the sentiment was attached to the card front using liquid glue.  And that completes the card!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 3

For the second card, I used a mix of old and new sets to create a scene with this cute bunny.  I love how the bunny seems to be jumping for joy among the brightly colored flowers!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 3

Starting with an A2 piece of Bristol cardstock, I ink blended the sky using the Layered Clouds stencils. Images from Bunny Friends and Spring Days stamp sets were stamped and colored using zig real brush markers.  The images were then cut using the Bunny Friends and Spring Days coordinating dies.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 3

Sentiment from the bunny friends stamp set was stamped using black ink and the images were adhered around the card using a combination of foam squares and liquid glue. I added some white gel pen accents to the images for additional interest.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 3

A white frame was cut using the Scallop Frames die and attached to the front of the card using foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I’m so happy to be sharing these cards with you and hope they put a smile on your face!

Because all the stamps in the Pretty Pink Posh collection are by the same designer, they’re fun and easy to mix and match.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 2

I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting rows of colorful daffodil and tulips. I layered them on a panel of card stock colored with distress ink (Citron Twist & Mowed Lawn).

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 2

I added a Bunny Friend and an Easter Friend and eggs. These elements are adhered with adhesive foam tape to add some dimension to the card.  The finishing touch is a sprinkle of Shamrock jewels

Easter Theme Week- Day 1

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 1

Good morning, crafters! Adelle here and I’m happy to share with you the news that today begins Easter Theme Week at Pretty Pink Posh and you can find all items in the Easter section at 15% off!

For this project, I used a combination of products from both the amazing new release as well as some from prior releases.  To begin, I stamped the Easter eggs border from the Spring Days stamp set on a panel of 80# cardstock. I then used the coordinating Spring Days dies to partially cut the lower portion of the stamp.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 1

Next, I used Copics to color the eggs (color list on my blog post), and then used the Spring Days dies to cut a mask for the eggs to be used later.  First, I needed to prep my card base.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 1

Using a landscape card base, I used the die to cut the lower half of the front of the card.  On the interior lower half, I used Post-It tape to mask off a sliver that I inked with Distress Oxide in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I removed the tape and set the card base to the side to work on my front panel.

I applied the mask on top of the eggs and lightly ink blended a background using Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 1

On another panel of white cardstock I used the Distress Oxide greens again to ink just enough area so that I could use the scalloped square from the Spring Days coordinating dies. I then white heat embossed “Happy Easter” from the Easter Eggs stamp set onto the die cut piece. I then stamped a couple of bunnies from the Bunny Friends stamp set, cut them out using the coordinating dies, and colored with Copic markers.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easter Theme Week- Day 1

To finish the card, I adhered the egg panel onto the card base and then used foam tape to pop up the bunnies and sentiment. I love the bright colors of Spring!

March 2020 Release Now Available!

The March 2020 Release is now available in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop and select retailers that carry our products. If you missed our post yesterday, we revealed all of the products in picture form, but if you would like to see them in a video, Ardyth has that for you today!

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Gemma here today to share a baby themed card featuring lots of fabulous new products from the Pretty Pink Posh March release.

For my card, I used the new Baby and Little One stamp sets, with the Layered Clouds stencils.

I began with the stencils and a panel of white card. I used clear embossing ink to ink through the first stencil, then heat embossing it with WOW White Pearl embossing powder. This gives a lovely subtle tone on tone look. I kept the embossing to the lower portion of my A2 panel only.

Next, I layered the other stencil in the set and inked again with clear embossing ink. This time I used WOW Taffeta Pink embossing glitter. This powder has a translucent base so some of the White Pearl clouds can be seen beneath, where they overlap.

At the top of the panel, I stamped a sentiment from the Little One stamp set, then I trimmed the panel down to 4 inches wide.

Next, I stamped and copic coloured some images from the Baby stamp set. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I attached some silver thread to the back of the embossed panel, then attached the images with foam tape to hold the thread in place to look like a washing line. I secured the other end of the thread behind the panel.

I added some Tattered Rose distress oxide ink to the edges of my card base, then attached the panel to finish.

It’s very easy to change this design, using different colours for the clouds and images.

We hope you find lots of great things in this release. Stay tuned for more inspiration here on the blog and also from our team on social media!

Sneak Peek: March 2020 Stencils

Hello friends! Angelica here and today were are working with stencils. I picked the new Layered Clouds (2 pack) and Easter Background stencils for my cards and brought in a few more new products for finishing touches.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Stencils

This is the Easter Background stencil. I sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray, and attached it to white card stock. I ink-blended a pastel rainbow over the stencil, then applied a layer of White Glitz Glitter Gel for lots of sparkle. I removed the stencil carefully, set the panel aside to dry, and cleaned the stencil immediately. I used an Eyelet Border Die to die-cut white card stock, and Spring Blessings Script Die to die-cut pink card stock. I attached the die cuts to the panel once dry, and added the panel to a card base.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Stencils

I couldn’t resist making a baby card with the Layered Clouds stencils. I picked blue card stock and inks, in honor of the new baby boy that’s about to join the Pretty Pink Posh family!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Stencils

I blended Sky Blue and Summer Shower inks over the stencils, starting with the lightest color first. I trimmed the panel once finished, and used the scallop square die from Spring Days coordinating die set to die-cut a window. I also die cut a white scallop square, and used the smaller square from the same die set to die cut the middle. I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from Little One stamp set, added the frame to the window, and attached the panel to a card base. (I blended a little bit of blue ink to the card base before adhering the panel.) I finished the card with a colored baby lamb from Little One stamp set, using foam squares to attach him to the card.

Working with stencils is one of my favorite ways of making backgrounds. The new stencils are no exception! I hope I have inspired you with stencil ideas.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

Good morning! Heather here and I’m excited to be sharing some sneak peeks with you today of the brand new dies that are part of the upcoming Pretty Pink Posh release on March 20th!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

First up, I have this card featuring the fun new Spring Scene die, as well as one of the new Script Sentiment Dies – Spring Blessings!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

I die cut this die from white cardstock, and then colored each individual piece with Copic markers before reassembling it onto my card front.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

I also die cut some scraps of cardstock over just the butterfly part of the image to gain a couple more butterflies to embellish my card – can you see the darling stitching detail on the butterflies?

I added some glittery clear Nuvo drops over the flowers and butterflies – love the bit of sparkle that it adds!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

Sentiment was die cut from black cardstock and adhered in place, and then I finished off with some lovely jewels in Spring GreenLemon Drop, and Watermelon for just a little bit of additional sparkle!

Next up, I have a duo of cards featuring the new Decorative Cross die, as well as the new Eyelet Borders Dies! I’m a sucker for making two cards when I end up die cutting enough pieces for it – and I hate to waste the leftovers, so that is how I ended up with these two cards.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

So, for this first card, I die cut the image once from gold glitter cardstock, and once from white cardstock.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

I die cut a border on a panel of white cardstock with the new Eyelet Border, then masked off a rectangle that was roughly the same size as my die cut image, and blended a mix of 3 different purple distress inks over it – Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, and Dusty Concord.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

I added some splatters with a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water, then removed the mask, and adhered the gold glitter portion of the die cut in place, and popped up the white portion on foam adhesive. I added a few Sparkling Clear Jewels on the center of the cross, adhering them small side down for extra sparkle.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

I filled in the center of each image with Glossy Accents – love how this almost gives a stained glass feel, and changes the appearance of the color of the distress ink under it. It also gives some lovely shine to the image! Finished off with a sheer bow along the side, and then adhered it to a coordinating purple card base!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

The second card, you may notice, uses the reverse die cuts from the Decorative Cross on the last card. Why waste those extra die cuts when you can use them for something else, right?

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

For this card, I used a lavender card base, and adhered the parts of the decorative cross in directing in place.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

I die cut a couple of thin borders using Eyelet Borders Dies, and adhered those along each side of the card – also adding a very thin strip of gold glitter cardstock along that edge to pull all the gold together.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

Added a few more of those same Sparkling Clear Jewels around the image, and heat embossed a sentiment from the darling little baby themed Little One stamp set – the sentiment just seemed perfect for this card!

So there you go – two cards in one! Which version is your favorite?

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: March 2020 Dies

Thanks so much for stopping by today – have an absolutely wonderful day!

Sneak Peek: Hedgehog Friends + Ladybug Friends

Hi Pretty Pink Posh friends! Suzy here and today I have a post sharing two new stamp sets called Hedgehog Friends and the free with order stamp set from last month called Ladybug Friends. I have 3 cards showing these new sets that will be available on March 20th.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hedgehog Friends + Ladybug Friends

The Hedgehog Friends is my favorite stamp set from this new release as I love critter stamps! This set is just adorable as not only does it have a lot of cute critters, it also has a bunch of complimentary stamps to help create scenes. On both of my cards, I use ALL of these smaller stamps as well as the hedgehogs!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hedgehog Friends + Ladybug Friends

This card is a slim-line card and measures 3.5” x 8.5”. I cut a piece of cardstock to be 7” and folded that in half for the card base. I cut the remaining piece to be 3.5” and used that for the front of the card. I used the new Layered Clouds stencil to make the sky with Distress Oxide Inks. I colored in grass with colored pencils.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hedgehog Friends + Ladybug Friends

I stamped all of the images using the Hedgehogs Friends stamp set with a light color of ink and colored them in with colored pencils. I die-cut the Spring Blessings Script from white cardstock twice and layered them on the top of the card.

I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops to the images to give them more dimension and shine!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hedgehog Friends + Ladybug Friends

I made this card by “random stamping” all of the smaller complimentary stamps on a white card front with a light color of ink. I colored them in with colored pencils. I added shading behind each image with a gray pencil.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hedgehog Friends + Ladybug Friends

I die-cut the Spring Scene from white cardstock twice. I attached the first one to the top center of the card front and colored all the pieces from the second one with Copic markers. I then attached that one over the first one for more dimension and to make it easier to get the pieces in the right place. I stamped the hedgehog and colored her in with colored pencils. I attached that image to the front of the circular die. I stamped the sentiment on a stitched rectangle and attached that to the bottom of the card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hedgehog Friends + Ladybug Friends

I stamped the ladybug stamp over and over on a white card base with black ink as I call “random stamping”. I turned him every which way to create a pattern. I love that you can make this card with just one ladybug stamp! I colored them all in with colored pencils in different bright colors. I attached that to a black card base.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Hedgehog Friends + Ladybug Friends

I added some lines on each ladybug with a white gel pen. I embossed the sentiment on a black stitched rectangle with white embossing powder. I used some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels on top of the sentiment rectangle.

Thanks so much for visiting the blog today and I hope you are enjoying this new release. It is chock full of fun and cute images that will add some cheer during these tough times!

Sneak Peek: Tulips

Hello friends! This is Angelica and I am back today to showcase the new Tulips stamp set (releasing on March 20th). Tulips are one of my favorite spring flowers and I couldn’t wait to color these images!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Tulips

This stamp set has a coordinating die set, but I chose to make a  one-layered card, using masking paper. I stamped the top layer first, covered the flower, then stamped the background flowers. I used Polychromos pencils to color the flowers. I always start with a white pencil, and lightly color in where I want my highlights to be. Then I colored the flowers with the main color. I used Van Dyke Brown and Brown Ochre to add my shadows. I finished my coloring with a white pencil again, reinforcing the highlights.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Tulips

I trimmed the panel with the stitched rectangle die from Stitched Notes, and adhered the panel to a card base with foam adhesive. I used the Hello die from Hello Friend Script Die for my sentiment. I die-cut white card stock three times, stacked and glued the words together, and glued the word over the petals to finish the card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Tulips

I love how this card turned out. Using colored pencils on gray card stock really helped the flowers stand out. I hope I was able to share some springtime inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Join us tomorrow for another sneak peek!
