Valentine Card w/ Copic Markers

Hi, Friends!

This is Caly with you today!  I’m sharing a card made using the Love set along with the Large Floral Hearts set to spell the word love by replacing the “o” from the Love set with the “solid” heart from the Large Floral Hearts set.  This requires a longer slimline card to fit all the required letters and images. My total card size is 3.75” x 7”.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Card w/ Copic Markers

I colored my images with Copic markers and made it cohesive by sharing the same colors across each letter and the heart.  It’s helpful that the illustrations are the same between the two stamp sets. After coloring, I die cut the letters and images and added a few white gel highlights to help my images pop.  The images are small so there wasn’t a whole lot to add. I set my images aside to work on a background.

Copic colors used:  W0, W3, G12, G14, G43, G46, R22, R24, RV11, RV14, B000, B00, B02, V12, V15, BG11, BG13, Y06.

After figuring out the size of my card by laying out my elements, I cut down a blank panel and ink-blended across the center, leaving about an inch from the sides with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.  Then I went over and around the first color with Cracked Pistachio. To give my panel extra interest, I splattered it with some dark teal paint as well as some white paint.

Using a T-ruler to help line up my images, I adhered them down using foam adhesive.  I glued my birds down directly on the card panel – focusing the dimension on the letters and floral heart only.  My sentiment is embossed over black card and adhered to the center of my card using more foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for joining me today!  Have a wonderful day!

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 7

My slimline card measures 3.5 x 8.5 inches. The base is a white rectangle cardstock stitched with a light green thread onto a pink scallop rectangle.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 7

I stamped the heart floral stamp three times, colored with Copic markers, and cut using the coordinating dies. I used the following colors for the flowers and leaves – R20, R21, R22, R24, G40, and G21. Next, I stamped the mice from Party Friends and colored with the following – NO, N1, ROOO, and R20 for the blush and around the sign.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 7

For the sentiments, I used “love you always” and “I love us” from the Large Floral Hearts stamps set, embossed with white ink onto a black cardstock. Then for the banner, I stamped “xoxo” from the Floral Hearts stamp set. I simply rotated the stamp upside down to spell “oxox.”

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 7

The last step is adhering everything and I used foam tape for the hearts, mice, and the sentiments for added dimension.

I hope you enjoy the projects I created to share with you today and feel inspired to create. Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by!

Valentine Theme Week- Day 6

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 6

Hi Everyone! It’s Melody here with you today for Day 6 of Valentine Theme Week! I have a Valentine card to share with you that was created with one of my daughters in mind. Even though my girls are not “kids” anymore, I still like to give them a card and a sweet treat for Valentine’s Day! I used a combination of both newly and previously released products to create my card. I love the way all the stamp sets and dies work together.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 6

Let’s start with the background. I cut a piece of white cardstock for the card front and then used the Wide Stripes Stencil with a light aqua ink to create the subtle background pattern. Next I die cut the Love Shaker Die from a red cardstock and attached the heart to the front of the card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 6

Around the heart I created this arrangement with the Love Stamp Set and the Love Coordinating Dies. The stamped images are colored with Copic Markers. I used foam squares to attach some the images. I like the dimension it adds. The sentiment is from the previously released Floral Hearts Stamp Set. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 6

At the bottom of the card I stamped one of the three borders in the Love Borders Stamp Set and added a sentiment from the Love Stamp Set

I finished off the card with a few Buttercream Jewels. I love adding just a little sparkle!

Valentine Theme Week- Day 5

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 5

Hello crafty friends, Sharna here with some Valentine inspiration for you. I love combining the old with the new and Paulina’s sets all work so well together. On today’s card I combined the original Floral Hearts stamp set with the new Large Floral Hearts stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 5

I made the background first to establish a color combo to use on the rest of the design. I started with the lightest color of distress oxide ink in Spun Sugar, the next was Picked Raspberries and lastly I used Wilted Violet to darken the bottom edge. I then splattered the panel with white paint and dried.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 5

I stamped and die cut the open heart design from both the old and new set & picked a sentiment for both I thought worked well together. After making sure the panel was dry I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiments inside each heart. I selected several different shades of copics in pinks and purples to match with the background and a single shade of light green for the foliage. I did not do any shading just simple coloring. With such small images shading is not necessary.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 5

Lastly to finish off the card I picked a selection of Pretty Pink Posh sequins also in pinks and purples. The purple is Lavender Moon and the pinks come from the Friendship Mix.

I really hope this helped inspire you for your Valentine’s projects! Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine Theme Week- Day 4

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 4

Hi Friends! It is Dana here today and I am so excited to be sharing some inspiration for Valentine Theme Week. I love creating for Valentine’s Day and Pretty Pink Posh makes some of my favorite products. All the products in the Valentine Section are 15% off this week so it is the perfect time to buy a few new supplies!

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 4

I have two cards to share with you all, I mixed one of my favorite stamp sets from last year along with a favorite from the latest release. I love how these two sets work so well together. Let’s get started, shall we?

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 4

I started my first card by stamping the Large Floral Heart wreath in VersaFine Clair black ink and heat setting it with clear embossing powder. I then used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens to watercolor the flowers. (No. 025 PInk, No. 022 Carmine Red, No. 070 Orange and No. 047 May Green) Next, I used the Large Floral Hearts Coordinating Dies to die cut the wreath.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 4

For my card design, I used the Scallop Border Die Set to die cut my decorative edge. I added this to a piece of orange patterned paper and attached it to my A2 card base. Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Large Floral Hearts Stamp Set onto a banner and added this to my card front along with my die cut wreath. Lastly, I added a few sequins from the Flamingo Pink Jewels Mix to my card front.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 4

My next card follows the same format as above, though this time I used the Floral Hearts Stamp Set. I stamped the wreath twice, watercolored the wreaths and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 4

For this card layout, I used the straight Scallop Border Die. I die cut it from raspberry cardstock and attached it to my white card panel before attaching everything to my grass green patterned paper. I once again stamped my sentiment onto a banner and added a few jewels from the Flamingo Pink Jewel Mix to finish my card.

Valentine Theme Week- Day 3

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 3

Hi everyone! Ardyth here with a couple of cards featuring the some of the new (and old!) Valentine products. Each day a different designer will be here on the blog with some Valentine inspiration for you!

And to help you celebrate, we’re having a 15% discount on all items in our Valentine Section during this theme week!

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 3

Today I have a non-traditional valentine using plenty of different techniques – ink blending, stencilling and double-inlaid die cuts! I started by inkblending a panel of white cardstock with pink and yellow inks. Then I used the new Layered Hearts stencils. With the first stencil layer, I added more ink to give a subtle tone-on-tone look to my hearts and with the second stencil, I spritzed some shimmer spray through to add some shine.

I used the large Scallop Heart die to cut out a heart from the colourful panel (see how I didn’t let it go to waste, below), and then inlaid a black heart.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 3

I blended some more ink onto another white panel, and I cut it with the Love word from the Love coordinating die set, and spritzed the letters with the shimmer spray before inlaying them into the panel.

I used the Happy Birthday to You Script die, and trimmed the ‘you’ from the rest of the die cut. I looped the extra curl on the word over the middle arm of the E for some added interest.

For a sparkly finishing touch, I added some of the darkest pink jewels from the Valentine Mix.

I couldn’t let that colourful heart go to waste so I made another card with it. I popped it up on a white panel and then stacked two layers of the Happy Valentine’s Day Script die on top. More of those pink jewels to finish it off and now I have two valentines to send to friends!

Save 15% off items in the Valentine section during our Valentine Theme Week!

Good morning! Heather here today with a fun card for Valentine Theme Week here on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog – and today I’m sharing this soft and sweet card mixing together some of the newest release with some previous ones – I love how Pretty Pink Posh’s products all work together so well from old to new!

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 2

I started off for this card by doing some super soft ink blending on my white horizontal card base using Cracked Pistachio and Broken China distress inks.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 2

Next, I stamped, colored, and die cut the images using Pond Friends and Large Floral Hearts stamp set and some simple Copic colors. I also added some sparkly clear Nuvo drops to parts of the floral heart wreath and to the crown, flower, and beaks on the swans.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 2

Once that dried, I layered everything on my inked cardbase, adding a border along the bottom die cut with one of the dies in Stitched Borders 2. I then heat embossed a sentiment  from Pond Friends in white on a thin strip of black cardstock trimmed into a banner shape and mounted with foam adhesive.

Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Theme Week- Day 2

Finally, I finished off with a good sprinkling of Sparkling Clear Jewels! I love to adhere these upside down – or with the smaller surface down on the card – I feel like it shows off their sparkle even better that way!

Valentine Theme Week- Day 1

There’s lots to love during Pretty Pink Posh Valentine Theme Week! It’s Jeanne here today and I’m so excited to be kicking off the festivities with the Pretty Pink Posh LOVE stamp set.

Save 15% off items in the Valentine section during our Valentine Theme Week!

It’s easy to focus on the L O V E Letters in this set, but once you look past them you’ll see lots of other sweet images in the set.. flowers, hearts, a cupcake and even a little dove!

I inked the middle of a white card stock panel with Spun Sugar distress ink.  I splattered it with water and some Picked Raspberry ink before penciling in a circle using a circle shaped die as a template.

I arranged all the images from the set along the circle. Some of the images are adhered with adhesive foam tape and others are adhered to the card base to add dimension. A sprinkle of Sparkling Clear Sequins are like sugar – candy for the eyes!

The sentiment is stamped on a strip of white card stock layered over a stitched scallop border from Stitched Borders 4 in pink.

If you’re smitten with these sweet images just like I am, you’ll want to add them to your stash.. and there couldn’t be a better time than now because all the Valentine products in the store are 15% off!

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE //  If you missed Day 2 CLICK HERE

Hi, everyone! Angelica here, and I’m excited to be sharing two cards made with some of the new January Release products from Pretty Pink Posh.

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 3

My first card showcases the new Balloon Shaker die. I used double-sided adhesive to attach Rainbow Shattered Glass Deco Foil to white card stock, then die-cut it with the Balloon Shaker die. I stamped a background panel with birthday hats from the new Party Friends stamp set then used the Balloon Die to die-cut a shaker window. On the backside of the panel, I added 1/8″ Scor tape around the die-cut window. I attached a piece of acetate onto the adhesive to close the window. I turned the panel around and added the foiled balloon die cut to the front. I turned the panel back around and added thin foam adhesive strips around the window. I filled the window with Party jewel Mix, and closed the back of the window with a piece of acetate. I added foam adhesive all over the back of the panel, and attached it to a card base. To finish the card, I used a shimmer pen and Crystal Glaze to add sparkle and shine. I used a T-ruler and gold gel pen to draw a string, and finished the card with a gold die-cut Bow and a single Metallic Gold Jewel.

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 3

My second card is a clean and simple card, featuring candles from Birthday Borders stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 3

I stamped a single row of candles, and colored them with Copic Markers. I did really simple coloring, in a rainbow order, and finished the candles with shadows, using C1 and C3 markers. I stamped a birthday sentiment from Everyday Greetings stamp set. I added adhesive to the back of the panel, and attached it to a card base to finish the card.

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 2

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 2

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh 6th birthday celebration! If you missed Day 1, click here.

Leica here and today I am sharing a happy birthday pop-up box card using the new Party Friends stamp set

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 2

To start, I created the Lawn Fawn pop-up box as directed, in Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. The patterned paper that I used are from Echo Park Happy Birthday 6×6 paper pad.

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 2

Next, I stamped the adorable critters from the Party Friends set on white 110lb cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo black ink. I colored them with the following Copic sketch markers and die cut with the coordinating dies:

Mice – N0, N1, R00

Koala – 0, C1, C3

Cake – BG10, BG11, BG15, Y11, Y13, Y15, V12, V15, RV00, RV10, RV11

Lion – Y21, Y23, Y26, E000, E00, E11

Gift – RV10, RV11, RV13, V12, V15, V17

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 2

I then stamped “make a wish” to the banner that the cute little mice are holding. Next, I stamped “happy birthday” to a rectangular piece and stamped the confettis around the sentiment. I used the same copic markers mentioned above. It was so much fun to stamp the confettis to create the background.

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration- Day 2

Lastly, I glued the adorable koala and lion in the back insert piece, the cute little mice holding a banner in the front insert piece, little star die cuts that are glued to acetate, and the happy birthday sentiment in the front flap of the box.
