Hi Pretty Pink Posh friends, Angelica here excited to share a sneak peek of the upcoming November release, which is everything Christmas! My favorite time of the year to make cards. Today we are going to focus on the stand-alone dies. There’s 7 in total (including two script words and two shaker dies!). I have used a few today in my pair of cards. Lets get started.

My First card I used the Pine Sprigs dies and the Stitched Ornaments dies. I die cut all the sprigs out with green cardstock, then used finger daubers and Distress Oxides Mowed Lawn and Ground Espresso to add color and texture.

Next I worked on the stitched ornament. I decided to use a stamp from the Poinsettias stamp set to decorate the bulb. I heat embossed the stamped image with embossing ink and Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder onto Canson Watercolor paper. I taped the paper down to a clipboard with purple tape, then scribbled on the petals with my Zig markers.

I heavily misted water on the flower and used my Wagner heat gun to start the drying process. When the paper was almost dry, I added a few shakes of Solar Flare and Cherry Bomb NUVO shimmer powders and resprayed again.  I then finished the drying process. The result was a beautiful shimmery poinsettia. I taped the stitched ornament die over it and cut it out. I also used the topper die to cut out gold glitter paper.

For the background, I used Distress Oxides Peacock Feathers, Evergreen Bough, and Cracked Pistachio. I did an ink smooshing technique on my craft mat with anther piece of Canson watercolor paper. Once dried, I splatter white paint, dried the paper, sprayed a generous amount of shimmer spray, then dried the paper again. I trimmed the paper down to be my card front. I added a sprig at the top, tied a piece of silver embroidery thread around it and connected it to the back of the ornament. I attached the ornament towards the bottom of the card front with thin Scrapbook Adhesive 3D squares. I die cut a small bow from Twine and Bows die set out of pink paper, added shimmer with Wink Of Stella, and topped the bow off with a layer of Nuvo Crystal Glaze. I die cut the Season’s Greetings Script out of shimmer white paper and glued to the card front with Ranger Multi Media Matte. I attached the card front to an A2 size card base and added the bow once dried. My final touch was adding a single jewel to the bow from the new Holiday Mix.

Card 2:

My second card has a lot less steps. I die cut the Layered Tree dies out of green paper. I used Distress inks Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss to shade them with finger daubers.

Once shaded, I glued them to a strip of paper I cut from the same green paper. Next, I die cut the Happy Holidays Script and glued the words to the tree. I picked out a rainbow of pink and red cardstock, and die cut them with the diamond edge die from the Stacked Edges 2 die set. I then attached them to computer paper that I had ran through my Xyron Creative Station to add adhesive to the paper. Once the strips were stacked, I trimmed the the paper down for the card front and attached the tree using Glue Dots. My final touch was adding Holiday Mix jewels on the tree as ornaments.

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a last card for Thanksgiving Theme Week. I bet you are all feel so inspired by the talented ladies from the last few days. We have a 15% discount on all items in our Thanksgiving section during this theme week and items are going fast!

First I stamped all the images from Pumpkin Patch Critter Stamps with Versafine black ink then watercolor them with Distress Markers and Kuretake Gansai Tambi. I can’t resist all the adorable critters that peek behind the pumpkins. I use Distress Inks for the background, I blended Tea Dye and Vintage Photo for the ground,as for the sky I use Squeezed Lemonade and Candy Apple. I think it’s better to keep on the color combinations coordinate with each others to keep the balance. For this card, I stuck with fall hues and warm tones.

I used the super pretty jewels in Marigold color on the sky to create some dimensions and sparkle. And this jewel is also in the Thanksgiving section which in on sale! Yay!

Here is a closer look at the adorable critters on my card. I’m so in love with each of them! I add rosy cheeks just because it looks so cute on them.

Hello Everyone! Angelica here, and I am so glad you’re joining me on the Pretty Pink Posh today for Thanksgiving theme week. I have two cards to share with you using different fall and Thanksgiving themed stamps.

My first card is all about background stamping. I love making my own backgrounds. Its nice to pick out stamps from a few sets that coordinate nicely together. For this background, I used Autumn Wreath and Happy Turkey stamp sets. In random order, starting in the middle, I placed stamps close  together on Copic-friendly paper and stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I found it helpful to do this in my MISTI. When I finished, I colored the images with Copic markers.

I used The small scallop circle from the Scallop Circle Die set to cut the window out. I also cut the same scallop circle out of purple pearl paper. I taped the circle to the backside of the card-front using washi tape, then added foam adhesive strips. before attaching the card front to an A2 card base, I stamped a sentiment from Giving Thanks stamp set. I then assembled the card, used a white gel pen and Raspberry Jewels to add accents.

For the second card, I kept the front clean and simple.

I stamped out the adorable pilgrims from Giving Thanks stamp set, pumpkins from Pumpkin Patch Critters, and leaves from Autumn Wreath (leaves were stamped on the card base). After coloring the images, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I stamped the sentiment from Giving thanks stamp set, and added the pilgrims with adhesive squares. I glued the pumpkins behind them, and colored small shadows with warm gray Copic markers. I added the card front to an A2 Size card base, then glued on Espresso Jewels using Ranger Multi Media Matte.

Hi, friends! Welcome to another day of our Thanksgiving Theme Week. It’s Marge here sharing a Thanksgiving Bridge Card with you today.

To begin my card, I stamped Pumpkin Patch Critters, Autumn Wreath, Giving Thanks, and Happy Turkey set on 80lb Neenah White paper using Memento Black, then I colored them using my copic markers. After I finished coloring I cut the images using Pumpkin Patch Critters Coordinating Dies, Autumn Wreath Coordinating Dies, Giving Thanks Dies, and Happy Turkey Dies.

Next, I made a bridge fold card as show below where I’m sharing a brief instruction with pictures.

Instruction for bridge fold card

1. Cut a brown card stock into 5.5 x 9 inch. Score along the long end at 3″ and 6″. Fold in Z shape.

2. Place Stitched Borders 2 Die on top of the Z paper, run it through a cutting machine back and forth several times. If the papers are not cut perfectly due to thickness, use scissors to trim off.

3. Score down mid-line pf both outer panels, refold the paper into a standing gate shape.

4. Prepare three pieces of 2.75 x 5.25 inch of Gingham paper, diecut the top portion using the same Stitched Borders 2 Die, score down at center of two pieces, then adhere them onto the brown panel. By doing so, you can create a nested look without using nesting dies set.

5. Make a front panel that would be a bridge, using brown card stock,  Stitched Borders 2 Dies, and Plaid paper and then adhere the bridge to the standing gate. It is easier to adhere one side of bridge and gate when the gate is folded down. Before assembling, I distressed all the edges using Distress Ink Tea Dye to give an autumn mood.

Once I finished assembling Bridge Fold Card, I adhered my colored images here and there using Glue Dots. Sentiment from Giving Thanks was heat embossed in gold and cut by free hand. I also added a piece of Picket Fence on the wall behind.

When I adhered images, I intended that my scene would look good even when it is folded down.

As a final touch, I added Metallic Gold Jewels. Since the card size was about 5.25 x 6 inch when folded down, I also made an envelope with size 5.5×6 inch using a piece of paper of 9.25 x 9.25 inch.

It is very easy to create a fun Bridge Fold Card by just using a scoring board and any kinds of symmetric shape border dies. This type of card can be placed straight up as a part of Thanksgiving decoration, or it can be sent to your friends flat down in an envelope.

Hi friends, Jeanne here! Fall is in the air and Thanksgiving is only a month away! It’s time to reflect on the blessings in our lives. I’m so thankful for you, for all the love and kindness you’ve shared with me. I’m blessed that our love for making has brought us together and want you to know I appreciate you.

I hope you’re enjoying the Thanksgiving Theme Week projects and getting ideas for your own creations! Pretty Pink Posh has so many great Thanksgiving images (stamps and dies) that the hardest part for me today was choosing what products to work with.  I’ve decided to mix a bit of the old with the new on my two cards.

I’m smitten with the Happy Turkey! I thought he’d look magnificent with a colorful Autumn Wreath behind him! He looks so proud like a peacock!

My card base is a blend of Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron Distress Inks applied with a stencil brush for a smooth finish. The panel was splattered and then inked with the Happy Thanksgiving Sentiment from Giving Thanks.

All of the images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Markers. The die cut wreath was used to create a shaker. The shaker is filled with Aquamarine sequins (to coordinate with the inked background) and Sparkling Clear sequins (for shine).

My second card features the Fall Scene stamp. It fits perfectly inside the smaller die in the Scallop Frame set.

I layered the framed scene inside the Stitched Notes die cut so there are three rows of stitches along the outer edge of the card.

The corner of the frame is adorned with die cut Autumn Wreath leaves and a cute little acorn. A few Amethyst Jewels define the raised framed image, and add sparkle and shine. They’re my favorite embellishment!

Hello crafty friends! It’s Yoonsun here today and I have a couple of Autumn-themed cards using some new and old goodies!

I started by stamping adorable image from the Fall Scene set on watercolor paper panel using black dye ink. I then colored it with polychromos colored pencils. I also stamped Autumn greetings from the Autumn Wreath set in black.

For the top right corner of the panel, I die cut several autumn leaves from a separate watercolor paper using the Small Stitched Foliage dies, adhered them on the panel using glue pen. I ink blended with Autumn colored Distress inks, and then lightly brushed over that with clean water.

For my second card, I used the Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set along with other old goodies. I stamped & watercolored cute pumpkin patch critters, then die cut them with the Pumpkin Patch Critters coordinating dies.

For the circle shaker window, I die cut Scallop Circles from orange card stock 1 time, white paper 4 times, stacked white circle die cuts up using fine tip glue pen. I then adhered acetate sheet to the back of the orange circle die cut.

I inked on the white card base using Spiced Marmalade Distress ink, and then adhered thick white scallop circle die cut on the card front, added several autumn-colored beads (Woodlands seed beads, Raspberry seed beads, Gold Shimmer seed beads) in the circle window. I then covered it with orange circle panel.

Welcome everyone! It’s Mindy here today and it’s Thanksgiving Theme Week. I’m kicking it off with two cards featuring some new and old sets!

My first card is starting off combining Happy Turkey, Autumn Wreath and Giving Thanks stamp sets. My images are stamped on Neenah White cardstock with copic friendly and colored in with copic markers. I thought it would be fun to color some of the foliage with non-traditional colors. Then, I die cut them all out with the coordinating dies.

I die cut a window using the Window Frames die and layered all of my die cut images. This is then attached to an A2 card front that I created using some pattern paper from the Knit Picky Fall paper pack. I finished off the card with some gorgeous Espresso Jewels to tie in the browns from the card.

For my second card, I created my own background with the Stitched Foliage die set and opted for some non-traditional Fall colors as well. I used Apple Mint, Sea Glass, Peach Bellini and Sticky Note cardstock colors.

Keeping the card clean and simple, I stamped a sentiment onto white cardstock using the Giving Thanks stamp set and added some Sparkling Clear Jewels between the leaves.

I couldn’t resist adding a little sparkle to the leaves with my Nuvo Shimmer Pen. I hoped you enjoyed today’s cards and inspires you to combine some of your previous stamp sets with new ones!
