Good morning! It’s Lindsey here today. Hasn’t it been a fabulous week full of Easter goodness? Theme weeks at Pretty Pink Posh always get me excited for the upcoming holidays, and I’m extra excited this week because I adore spring and I adore Easter. It’s a season of hope and brightness and things made new, and I wanted to capture that in my card.
Snow drops and daffodils are some of the first flowers to emerge in my yard each spring, and they inspired the colors on my card. This card has quite a few layers, so I’ll start with the card base. I took just the stem/leaves stencil from the Spring Flowers Stencils, flipped it sideways, and blended green ink. I love the fresh feel this adds to the card and how just a little turn of the stencil gives you a totally different look.
Next, I took the Spring Eggs Die and traced a repeated pattern on a piece of cardstock lightly in pencil. I used that as my guide to cut out all the eggs. Using the panel of negative images here is a subtle nod to the empty tomb, but by popping it up with foam tape, it also adds some great dimension to the card.
The next layer was created by embossing two of the images in the beautiful Floral Corners stamp set with white embossing powder on vellum. Then, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
The final layer was created by cutting the Fancy Easter Script Dies in bright yellow, gluing them onto a white panel and trimming around the entire sentiment. I popped that up on top of all the other layers, and voila! Card done. :)
I often snap a photo of my cards on top of all the supplies I’ve used to create them, so I can remember later on, and I thought it might be fun to share that. Looking at this photo makes me smile lots because I truly LOVE each and every product I used.
If you haven’t picked them up yet (or any other favorites you may have seen this week), I highly recommend you doing that today while everything in the Easter Section is 15% off.

Today, I’ve created a bunch of colorful egg shaped Easter cards using Pretty Pink Posh products!
To create these cards, you’ll need various colored cardstock (scraps work well too!) and a few Pretty Pink Posh dies! The egg shape was created using the Scallop Ovals die set which was cut from white cardstock. For the inner pieces, I used the Stacked Edges 1 die set in the zig-zag pattern and scallop pattern.
Moving from left to right I’ll mention all the various scraps of cardstock I used to create these colorful eggs.
Card on the far left moving top to bottom: fuchsia (Stamp Market), hibiscus burst (Papertrey Ink), coral reef (Stamp Market), fake tan, apricot and sticky note (all Lawn Fawn).
Next card (2nd over from left) moving top to bottom: coral reef (Stamp Market), apricot, sticky note (Lawn Fawn), icy mint (Bazzill), mermaid and moonstone (Lawn Fawn).
Next card from top to bottom: icy mint (Bazzill), mermaid, moonstone (Lawn Fawn), candy necklace, easter grass, juicy pear (all Bazzill)
Last card (farthest on the right) from top to bottom: sticky note, fake tan (Lawn Fawn), cotton candy (Stamp Market), berry sorbet (Papertrey Ink), raspberry and fuchsia (Stamp Market).
After all the pieces were cut, I adhered them to a piece of light weight cardstock (printer paper also works) in various color combinations. Then, I adhered the white frame to the top of the patterns and cut the edges using scissors. This creates the front of the card.
Next, I used the same scallop oval die to cut a folded piece of cardstock leaving the top edge off my cutting plate. The pressure from the die cutting machine will cut the frame out of the top portion of the card but will leave an indentation on the inner portion. To remedy this, I just added another die cut white frame to the inside. I also added a piece of white cardstock (cut with scissors) to the back of the front flap of the card. You can see the image below. Don’t worry about the front of the card, the colorful frame will cover it up when you adhere it to the front of the card.
To create the bunnies, I used the new Easter Bunnies stamp set to stamp the images in copic friendly black ink and colored them using copic markers. I also stamped and colored the easter baskets and eggs to add inside my cards. The sentiment “happy easter” is also from the new Easter Bunnies stamp set and I stamped it on the inside of each egg shaped card using black ink.
White gel pen was used to highlight the images and the images were cut using the coordinating dies and adhered using liquid glue.

Hello Everyone! This is Melody on the blog today. Thank you for joining me for Day 5 of the Pretty Pink Posh Easter Theme Week. I love the new Easter Basket Dies. The basket has great stitching details and is so fun to fill! I have two cards to share with you, one with a basket of Easter eggs and one with a basket of flowers.
My first basket is filled with pretty easter eggs created with the Spring Eggs stamp set and Spring Eggs Coordinating Dies. My eggs are colored with Copic Markers. I tucked eggs under the rim of the basket with the grass behind the eggs. The sentiment and flower accent is from the new Easter Bunnies stamp set and stamped on a tag die cut with the Mini Tags Dies.
On my second card I filled the basket with flowers. The flower stamp and additional flowers that accent the basket are part of the Floral Corners stamp set, one of favorites from the new release!
Here’s a closer look at the basket and the great stitched details. At the top I tied a bow with a gingham ribbon. The background is stenciled with the new Butterfly Background Stencil on white cardstock with a lavender ink.
At the bottom I added a sentiment from the previously released Easter Blessings stamp set. I stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have given you ideas on ways to fill your easter basket!
Welcome to Easter Theme Week! It’s Jeanne and I hope you’re loving the designs from the team! There are so many great Pretty Pink Posh products to choose from that the hardest part is always deciding what to play with!
My favorite cards to make usually feature a scene. Whenever I receive a new stamp set I always stamp, color and cut each image 8-10 times. Accent images that I know I will use A LOT of – like the flowers in this set I stamp even more times. I switch up the colors so I have lots to choose from.
This card starts with a Distress Oxide inked background in Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron. I added Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn along the edges to create some depth before splatting the panel with water and white ink.
Now for the fun part.. making a scene! I arrange the images on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base – this allows me to move things around before I commit and adhere the images in place. I can also lift the entire piece and lay it on top of different color inky backgrounds to help me choose the perfect one.
I stamped a sentiment directly on the inked panel, and added a Spooky Fence cut from white card stock to help define the grass from the sky. Finally I adhered the Easter Bunnies stamp set images. Some are adhered flat to the card base while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape. This adds more dimension. The little butterflies are from the Mom stamp set.
I hope you’ll stop by tomorrow when we’ll be sharing more projects made with Easter themed products from the shop.

Hello Crafty Friends! Elaine here today on Day 3 of Pretty Pink Posh Easter theme week! For my card I have used the Easter Friends stamp and die set to create a fun and card that I am sure anyone would love to receive. I’ve also added some other stamps from Holiday Pals (bunny bow) and Mom (butterflies).
I started this card by stamping the images on to copic friendly card with a copic friendly black ink. I coloured the images with the following copic markers (many are repeated on the card):
Pink: R85, R83, R81
Blue: B24, B23, B21
Yellow: Y15, Y13, Y11
Bunny: E27, E25, E23, E21
Boy Hair: E49, E27, E25
Girl Hair: E77, E74, E71
Girl Bunny Ears: E74, E71, E70, R22, R20
Skin: E13, E11, E00, R22, R20
After the images were all coloured, I cut them out with the co-ordinating dies and then set them aside so I could work on the base/background of the card.
I created a white A2 card base by cutting a piece of white heavyweight card 8.5” x 4.25” and then scored and folded at 5.5” along the longest side. For the background panel I cut some more heavyweight white card to 5.5” x 3 7/8” and then used the Stitched Borders 1 to create a scalloped edge on the top and bottom.
Using Distress Inks in Stormy Sky and Peeled Paint I gently blended on colour at the top and bottom of the panel to help give my characters a scene to ground them on. For extra interest I used the same ink colours and added some paint splatters. To do this I ‘smooshed’ the ink pads on to my glass mat, added a drop of water and used a small paint brush to flick on the colour. The panel was left to dry for 10-15 minutes.
Using liquid adhesive, I secured all my characters to the ink blended panel and then popped on lots of coloured easter eggs to finish off the scene.
Before securing the panel to the card base, I stamped the sentiment with a black pigment ink. On the back of the panel, I glued a rectangle of fun foam and then secured it to the card base. I love the dimension the fun foam gives the panel. I adhered the butterflies along with some pearl jewels.
Thank you so much for joining me today. Be sure to pop back to the blog tomorrow for Day 4 of inspiration!
Hello friends, Leica here. It’s Easter Theme Week at Pretty Pink Posh and today I have 2 shaker cards to share with you.
For the first card, I took a 4.25 x 5.5 inch panel and ink blended the top with Kitsch Flamingo and the bottom with Cracked Pistachio distress oxides. I splattered white and gold paint for added interest. I then ran theScallop Ovals die in the center of the panel to make a frame for my shaker card. I adhered clear acetate to the back of the panel and before adding the foam tape, I stamped the Happy Easter sentiment onto the acetate using Staz on Ink. Next, I added the foam tape around the frame. My favorite one is from Heffy Doodle, as it is thicker than the 3M tape and there’s no need to double stack to create the well for the shaker elements. I then made my A2 card base and ink blended with Antique Linen distress ink. For the shaker, I used Sherbet Clay Confetti mixed with Sunshine seed beads. I love the way the shaker beads sound!
Now that the base for the shaker card is ready, I stamped, color, and cut the eggs from the new Spring Eggs stamp set, the cute girl in bunny costume from the Easter Friends stamp set, and the ribbon from the Easter Bunnies stamp set. I used Copic Markers in pastel colors for a soft look.
I hope these shaker cards inspire you to create Easter cards for your friends and loved ones. Thank you so much for stopping by, stop by tomorrow for another day of inspiration!
Hi friends, Tammy here! I’m so excited to be kicking off Easter Theme Week with Pretty Pink Posh! I’m sharing a slimline card, combining older sets with some new items, to create this fun Easter scene!
Next, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using theSlimline: Peekaboo Windows Dies. I ink blended the background with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks, adding some splatters for interest. I then cut the grassy borders using the Nature Essentials Dies, ink blended with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn inks and pieced them together to span across the length of my card. I arranged the sweet images onto my card, adding foam squares on some for dimension.
Lastly, I die cut pink cardstock 3 times using the Fancy Easter Script Dies, stacked together, and attached across my card. I then attached my card front to a white 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″ card base to complete my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are inspired to create some fun Easter, or Spring cards! See you tomorrow for Day 2 of Easter Theme Week!
Hello everyone! This is Yana Smakula, thank you for joining me!
Today’s video takes a different look at the Peonies Stencil and shares a fun way to add detail to these beautiful blooms. Peonies stencil is a 5 7/8″ x 5 7/8″ stencil designed to create beautiful peony flowers. You have several floras, one flower bud, and 3 leaves. Two of the flowers are mirror images of each other.
There is also a Peonies stamp set with identical images, the size of these matches, allowing you to stamp the outline in black or any other ink color and blend the petal color using the stencil. It is a brilliant combination, really. There is also a set of coordinating dies that work with both the stamp set and the stencil. How cool is that?
In this video, I’m going to show you how you can combine the stencil with the coordinating dies. I also have a video on my Youtube channel showing how to combine all 3 products to create phenomenal flowers.
I started by ink blending the flowers and leaves using a blending brush and various colors of ink. I used dye ink for this video, but of course, these can be blended with any type of ink, and of course, any color.
Next, to add detail to these images I used Copic markers. The idea is to use a flick style coloring method and flick the color onto each petal adding veins and beautiful detail. I matched the colors of the markers to the colors of the ink blending. You don’t have to use alcohol markers for this step, you can also use colored pencils if you prefer.
Think of this as a way to do no-line coloring. When you want to do a no-line coloring technique with your stamps, you stamp the image with a very light ink color, the kind of color that is just barely visible for you to do your coloring. This ink blending and flick style coloring technique is somewhat similar – we first ink blend a light color of ink to give us the general flower or leaf shape and then we add detail using a marker.
Next, I used the coordinating dies and cut these images out. Isn’t it clever, to have coordinating dies for stenciled images? I think it is quite brilliant.
Now, there are more flowers in the stencil, than there are in the stamp set. One flower is mirrored. That means you can still cut that flower out using a coordinating die, but you need to position the die from the back of the paper. You do get a bit of a different edge to the flower you cut from the backside, but it is hardly noticeable. The edge is sharper, compared to the regular cut flower and if the sort of edge bothers you, you can flatten it using your scoring you – just go over that edge with the tool you use to create card bases and burnish that edge. That should do the trick.
I decided to make the flower centers black, so I used a black pen from my stash and just dotted black marks inside the flowers.
Another fabulous product from Pretty Pink Posh is a set of stencils to create a bokeh background.
The bokeh stencil is a 3 stencil set with large, medium, and small dots. When you overlap the dots you get a beautiful bokeh result.
Because it is a stencil, you of course can use all of the stencil techniques out there. So not just ink blending, you can add paste, emboss, and use various mediums to get different results.
I wanted to have some gold embossed dots on my background so I started by adding those first. As with any heat embossing, I treated the panel with anti-static powder first, I applied a very generous layer of powder to the entire background. Next, I tape the stencil in place using low tack tape. I didn’t want to use a sticky spray, as that can leave a bit of a sticky residue on the paper, not enough to notice the residue, but enough for the embossing powder to stick to. So better to use tape, at least for this step of the process.
Next, I ink blended the dots using clear embossing ink. I used an ink blending – a dauber type, not a brush, tool and I pounced the ink onto the stencil using my tool. I did go a bit heavy-handedly, but not so heavy, that the ink would seep from under the stencil. Having applied the ink through all the openings on the stencil, I removed it and added Antique Gold embossing powder over the background. I then used my heat tool and heat set the powder in place to melt it. So this created the first layer of my bokeh background. Now the heat embossing wasn’t absolutely perfect, but I didn’t mind, as I knew I’d be adding additional ink blending on top and I’d also pop the flower on a portion of this background so I was okay with some imperfections.
I placed the 2nd layer stencil on top and ink blending white pigment ink. My entire idea for this card was to use a darker color cardstock for the background, heat emboss a part of the bokeh background in gold, and ink blend the rest in white. Where the ink blending overlapped the gold embossing, it muted it significantly, creating a stunning result.
If you want to re-create this background, it is important to heat emboss first, as the rest of ink blending happens with pigment ink, and pigment ink takes a very long time to dry.
I kept on blending the background and used the 3rd layer stencil in the same way. I also went back to the 2nd layer, to add a few additional dots to fill the background in.
You can use the stencil as intended, carefully layering each layer, but you can also go rogue, and layer and blend it in your own way. This is what I did. And I love the result!
I adhered my background on an A2 white side folding card base and foam mounted my fresh floral cluster on top.
I used my scissors and trimmed the excess flowers off so that there was no overhang. Next, to add a sentiment for this card, I went with a skinny strip heat embossed one – it reads Thank You So Much. But of course, you can add any type of sentiment to this card. This one comes from the Simple Sentiments stamp set. I used a skinny strip from adhesive to add it onto the card and I first thought about adding it over the florals but ended up adding it over the bottom part of my card.
I had quite a few leftover flowers, and I didn’t want them to go to waste, so I added them to the inside of this card. I also used Sparkling Clear jewelsand scattered them over the background adding to the overall bokeh look.
Hello friends! Elaine here today to share a super sweet Easter themed card using new stamps from the March release.
I started my card with the colouring, so I stamped out my images on to copic friendly cardstock with copic friendly ink. I used Easter Bunnies stamp set and added in lots of the individual floral images from the Mom stamp set. For the bunny I used shades E27, E25, E23 and E21 with some R32 in the ears. The flowers and butterflies were coloured with B66, B63, B60, RV66, RV55, RV52, BG75, BG72, BG70, Y11 and Y15. For the leaves on the flowers, I used G28 and G24.
Once all my images were coloured, I cut them out using the co-ordinating dies for both Easter Bunnies and Mom stamps.
Setting the images aside, I started creating the background for my card. I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4” x 5 3/8” and lightly blended on a soft pink background using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide with a large blending brush concentrating the colour at the centre blending lightly out.
Using liquid adhesive, I adhered my stamped images to the ink blended card panel. I secured the main images first; the bunny and basket and then secured the flowers with leaves. Finally, to fill in the gaps and create a full scene I secured all the little flowers and the butterflies. The sentiment was stamped directly on the card panel with a black pigment ink.
To complete the card, I cut a piece of blush pink cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” and secured it to a white A2 sized card base, then secured the scene panel on top. Lastly, I adhered a few small jewels from the Valentines jewel mix to finish off the card.
Thank you for joining me today! I hope this card gives you some ideas for your own Easter themed projects!
