Hi everyone! Jane here sharing these fun Halloween tags featuring the new Monster Hugs set!

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 3: Blog Hop+ August Release Now Available

To create these cute tags, I first cut the base of the tags from Bristol cardstock using the Stitched Duo 3 die set.  Next, I blended the panel using the following distress oxide inks (top to bottom): black soot, faded jeans, salvaged patina and speckled egg.  Next, the background was splattered with water using a thin paintbrush and the tags were left to dry.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 3: Blog Hop+ August Release Now Available

While the backgrounds were drying, the images from Monster Hugs were stamped, colored using copic markers and die cut using the coordinating dies.  White gel pen used to accent the images.  The black background pieces were die cut using the Nature Essentials die and black cardstock.

Finally, all the elements were adhered to the tags with the excess around the edges snipped off using craft scissors.  The monsters were adhered using thin foam squares to create dimension. Lastly, I used a hole punch at the top of the tags and tied them using some thread to finish the tags.

Day 2: Blog Hop+ August Release Now Available

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 2: Blog Hop+ August Release Now Available

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE

Hello hello! It’s Leica here today with a Halloween box card in pastel colors. For this box, I used the new Halloween Wreath stamp set. I love all the previously-released Pretty Pink Posh wreath stamps and am so happy that there is a Halloween version now. This is just so fun to color and the size of it makes it easy to fill up a card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 2: Blog Hop+ August Release Now Available

I first ink blended Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink through the new Candy Background Stencil before cutting the panels for the card box. I then assembled the box using Heffy Doodle Big Shadow Box Die and die cut a 3 inch circle in the middle of one of the panels. This opening is the perfect size for the wreath to be glued on top of later. I added 2 grass inserts inside the box using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink. For the background, I used the new Spooky Sky Stencils to make my own patterned paper: the clouds were blended with Tumbled Glass, bats with Wilted Violet, and stars with Mustard Seed.

I then stamped the Halloween Wreath with Memento Tuxedo black ink on 110lb white cardstock. I colored with Copic Markers – BV01/00/000, B02/00, G43/40, R85/83/81, N3/1/0, Y18/15 and cut with the coordinating die. I glued the wreath on top of the opening in the front of the card. I also stamped the cute little ghost from the same stamp set and attached it to the insert using a strip of acetate. Next, I white heat embossed 2 more ghosts on vellum and glued them to the back insert using acetate. I flipped one of the vellum ghosts for a mirrored look. They look super cute inside the box card, but can’t really see them in the photos.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 2: Blog Hop+ August Release Now Available

I then white heat embossed the “Happy Halloween to you” sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and foam mounted it to the front of the card. I also added 3 little stars for added sparkle.

For the tag, I used the 3 inch circle that I cut out from the front panel of the box. I stamped the ghosts image from the Halloween Circles stamp set and cut with the coordinating die. I also cut the zigzag circle, which is included in the coordinating dies,  in white cardstock and colored with Copic B000.

Hi Friends! It is Gemma here today. When I saw the fabulous Monster Hugs stamp set in the August release, I knew I wanted to add some googly eyes to the monsters.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 1: Blog Hop+ August Release Now Available

For this card, I started with the background. I chose some fun glitter card in vibrant Halloween colours and die cut some zig-zag borders using a die from the Stacked Edges 1 die set.

I adhered these borders across the centre of an A2 card base. Underneath the borders, I stamped a fun sentiment from the Monster Hugs stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 1: Blog Hop+ August Release Now Available

Next, I stamped some monsters and coloured them in with copic markers, using colours inspired by my zig-zag borders. I used the following copic markers: G12, G14, G17; RV55, RV66; YR02, YR14, YR16.

I die cut the monsters with the coordinating dies, then added some googly eyes. I then added the monsters to the card with foam tape.

Sneak Peek: August Stencils + Dies

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today sharing a sneak peek at a few of the new stencils and word dies coming to Pretty Pink Posh on August 10th.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: August Stencils + Dies

My first card uses the fun new Candy Background Stencil. I started my card by creating a background with the Simple Strips Dies and colored cardstock. I then sprayed the back of the Candy Background Stencil with Pixie Spray and attached it to my panel. Next, I used a blending sponge and applied white pigment ink to my panel. I love the look of the pigment ink on the colored strips.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: August Stencils + Dies

For my sentiment I used the new Trick or Treat Script die set. I die cut the sentiment three times and stacked them together before attaching them to the center of my panel. I then stamped, colored and die cut a few of the candies from the new Halloween Wreath set. I thought the little candies coordinated well with the candy background. Lastly, I attached the candies and card panel to my A2 card base with foam adhesive to finish my card.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: August Stencils + Dies

My next card uses the new Spooky Sky Stencils

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: August Stencils + Dies

The Spooky Sky Stencil Pack is a 3 pack of stencils that are so fun and easy to layer to create a Halloween sky. I used blending brushes and dye ink to create my panel. Once I was finished, I splattered my background with a little black and white paint for some added detail.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: August Stencils + Dies

For this card, I used the new Happy Halloween Script die to create my sentiment. I ran the die through my die cutting machine with black glittered cardstock 3 times. I then stacked the die cuts together and attached them to the center of my panel. I once again used the Halloween Wreath Set for my smaller images. This time I stamped, colored and die cut a few bats and ghosts from the set to coordinate with my card.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my cards and I can’t wait to share the rest of my release projects with you all.

Sneak Peek: Halloween Circles

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a sneak peek of the Halloween Circles stamp set. This is a fun addition to the other previously-released circles stamps set: ValentineSpring, and the exclusive limited-edition Summer Circles

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Halloween Circles

Let’s begin with the card! For the background, I first stamped the small images from the new Halloween Wreath stamp set onto a 3.5 x 8.5 inch white cardstock and colored with Copic markers: B000, N5/3/1, V7/15/12, Y18/15/11, YG25/23/21, YR07/04/00. I also stamped the 3 little dots from an older set, Boo stamp set. I then cut the panel with the largest die in the Slimline: Peekaboo Windows Dies.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Halloween Circles

Next, I stamped the images from the new Halloween Circles stamp set and used the same Copic markers mentioned above. I then cut with the coordinating die cut. This stamp set has 3 different die cuts included in the coordinating set and they make for beautiful layers and can also be used for tags. I cut the zigzag circles die in colored cardstock and foam mounted the circle stamps. I then adhered the circles onto the card panel.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Halloween Circles

On a strip of black cardstock, I white heat embossed the Happy Halloween sentiment and the Trick or Treat sentiment from the new Monster Hugs Stamp Set, part of the August 10th release. Lastly, I adhered the sentiment strips between the circles and added another layer of orange cardstock that is cut to 3.5 x 8.5 inches.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Halloween Circles

That’s all for this card. I hope that you are excited about the new release and that I’ve inspired you to make Halloween cards!

Sneak Peek: Halloween Wreath

Hello hello! It’s Leica here today with a sneak peek of the new Halloween Wreath stamp set, which will be available on August 10th. This wreath stamp also comes with other images and sentiments for all your Halloween projects. If you like this set, make sure to also check out the rest of the Wreath Collection. I’m sure you’ll love them, too!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Halloween Wreath

For this circle card, I first stamped the wreath in black ink and colored it with Copic markers: B000, N5/3/1, V7/15/12, Y18/15/11, YG25/23/21, YR07/04/00. I cut it with the coordinating die.

I then cut a 4 inch circle and blended Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink through the Spider Web Stencil. I also cut a 4 inch circle in vellum. I used the vellum to soften the look of the web.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Halloween Wreath

Foam tape is added to the back of the wreath and adhered onto the vellum. I then added glue to the back of the wreath and adhered it to the black web. Next, I  added another layer of color on a 4.5 inch circle by ink blending with Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks

On a strip of black cardstock, I white heat embossed the Happy Halloween sentiment and adhered onto the center of the wreath. To finish the card off, I added Glossy Black Jewels for added interest.

Sneak Peek: Monster Hugs

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a look at the new Monster Hugs stamp set from the August release!

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Monster Hugs

Monsters are such fun to colour as there are no rules, no colours you can’t use. Go vivid or muted, use complimentary or contrasting tones… just enjoy the colouring as you really can’t go wrong.

I stamped out lots of the monsters and used my copic markers to colour them in. I chose colours opposite on the colour wheel that complemented each other. I then die cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Monster Hugs

For the background, I took a square panel of card and die cut one of the previously released Scene dies from the centre. It’s not only the perfect size window opening for my sentiment, I can also use the outer circle frame on my card.

On a piece of black card, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Monster Hugs stamp set with white embossing powder. I secured this behind the white square card panel, to show through the circle window opening, then added the circle frame around it.

Pretty Pink Posh- Sneak Peek: Monster Hugs

I cut a larger black square panel and adhered this to my white card base, to leave a small white border. I then adhered the white panel on top.

I arranged the monsters around the circle opening and adhered them using foam tape for dimension to finish.

We hope you enjoyed today’s blog post. We’ll see you tomorrow for another sneak peek!

Exclusive Ellen Hutson Collaboration

Hello, Gemma here and today I’m sharing a card created using the new Ellen Hutson and Pretty Pink Posh collaboration stamp set called Summer Circles. I’ve combined it with some of the Pretty Pink Posh June release as they work so well together.

Pretty Pink Posh: Exclusive Ellen Hutson Collaboration

I began by die cutting a border from the Stacked Edges 3 die set 6 times from white card. I adhered the borders to an A2 card base, in 3 pairs with gaps in between, trimming away anything overhanging. This adds some texture to the background but keeps the CAS look.

Pretty Pink Posh: Exclusive Ellen Hutson Collaboration

I part-stamped a greeting from the Summer Wreath stamp set on one of the borders. To complete my sentiment, I heat embossed a greeting from the Summer Drinks stamp set, on black with WOW Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I die cut it out with the coordinating die, adding a couple of layers behind for dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Exclusive Ellen Hutson Collaboration

I stamped 3 images from the Summer Circles stamp set, coloured with copic markers and die cut with the coordinating die. I added two more layers behind each circle for dimension.

I arranged the circles on the card, then adhered them with liquid glue to finish.

Pretty Pink Posh: Exclusive Ellen Hutson Collaboration

I hope you enjoyed today’s card. If you’re on Instagram, be sure to join us over there for a hop packed full of inspiration using this cute exclusive set.

Colorful Summer Scenes + Video

Hi, it’s Mona here, with a new video tutorial where I will show you how to create fun little summer scenes with cute images.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

In the main focus will be this adorable Summer Fun stamp set, which has so many cute images, and I will show you how easy is to mix it with Jungle Friends, Summer Drinks, Tropical Birds or Hibiscus Flowers stamp sets.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Summer Scenes + Video

I stamped the picked images with alcohol marker friendly black ink to Neenah solar white cardstock with the help of my MISTI. For the coloring I have used alcohol-based Spectrum Noir Illustrators, in the following shades: AG3, AG2, CG1, GY3, CT4, CT3, CT1, TN8, TN7, TN6, BO2, OR1, GB11, GB9, GB5, GB4, GB3, GB2, GB1, GB05, TN3, TN1, FS9, RB1, RB2, EB1, EB5, EB6, EB8, MG1, PP5, PPP3, PPP1, PV3, PV1, BP2, BP1, LV2, LV1, LV05, BG6, BG3, BG1, BT5, True Black, Blender. For the coloring process please visit the video tutorial.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Summer Scenes + Video

When the coloring was done, I run the images through my die-cut machine with their coordinating dies, and followed the die-cutting process first with scalloped frames. Because these cards will be mini cards, I have used the smaller die.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Summer Scenes + Video

I also made some waves from light teal cardstock with the new stitched Waves die-set, and I have also made a stitched border for the sand from Neenah Solar White cardstock, and made a quick ink blending on the sea with Broken China and with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo on the sand.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Summer Scenes + Video

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments from Summer Drinks and Nautical stamp set, and run them through my die-cut machine with its coordinating dies.

Pretty Pink Posh: Colorful Summer Scenes + Video

In the end I styled my card and put them together with 3D adhesives. Thank you so much for stopping by, see you next time.

Hugs, Mona
