Are you all ready for the last day of sneak peeks for the new DeNami release? It’s so hard to believe that the days are closing in! We are now just a day away from the full reveal and two days away from them being available on our website!
If you visited the DeNami blog this morning, you saw that we are highlighting our new birthday stamps. Oh my, these stamps are SO fun to use- I had a hard time putting them down! Good thing we have the Birthday Blog Hop coming up so I can pull these stamps out again soon. :)
This first card came together really easily. I knew I wanted to create a card showing how easy it is to use this cute little candle stamp. How fun would it be to create a whole sheet of patterned paper and color the candle all sorts of colors? Hmmm…may have to give that a try soon!
You may have noticed that I stamped the candles on top of one of the borders from the Basic Borders I stamps. This ensured that I would be able to keep the candles all straight and also added a little more detail to this card. :)
This next card makes me happy. I just love playing with our animal stamps, and “dressing” them up. How fun are those polka dot party hats on the Owl Trio? I wish they had some hats that cute in real life!
Have I mentioned that I’m utterly obsessed with the new chevron border from the Modern Borders I set? You can use bold colors or muted colors and this stamp always looks good!
My last card shows two of the images from the Ice Cream Shoppe I set. My mind is already racing from all of the cute tags, birthday banners/ decor, scrapbook pages and of course, cards I can create with this set.
{Be warned: you may see this set a lot in the next few months}
I just couldn’t resist adding glitter to this cupcake. I stamped the top on the Magenta cardstock, then used my Quickie Glue Pen and added Magenta glitter. Quick and easy with truly stellar results.
Okay, blog friends, that’s all for this post. Be sure to leave a comment for a possible chance at winning the giveaway below. {All the details of the giveaway can be found on the DeNami blog}
Don’t forget that the extremely talented Andrea and Wendy also have cards to share with you today. Be sure to head on over to their blogs!
Thanks for visiting today- I hope you enjoyed all the new stamps you saw in this post. See you tomorrow over on the DeNami blog for the full reveal and giveaway winners!
Hello and welcome to an exciting day of DeNami sneak peeks!
If you have come from the DeNami blog, I’m so glad you stopped by. If you happen to be one of the sweet followers I have, thank you for your continued support of my blog. :)
Words cannot express how excited I am about this new release. Not only do we have cling stamps for the very first time, we also have some stamp sets that are AMAZING. For those who follow my blog, you know that I am a huge fan of background/ border stamps. Well, my dear friends, we have FIVE brand new border sets in this release. *squeal*
I have three cards to share, so let’s just jump right into them.
This first card not only highlights the new chevron border we have (which is from the Modern Borders I set), it also showcases the Window with Shutters, butterfly from Fancy Flutters and designs from the Spring Flowers I set.
Like many of my cards, I couldn’t resist adding some glitter. Here I used the Amethyst glitter for the flower/ butterfly and the Citrone glitter for the stem/leaves.
This next card is one of my favorites from all the cards I created recently. It’s CAS and yet girly and cheery at the same time. I used two butterflies from the new Fancy Flutters set, the curly border is from the Decorative Borders I set, and I also used the new Get Well Soon sentiment.
Here’s a close-up of the glitter and twine I added to the card. These don’t take a whole lot of work, but they really take the card to the next level.
This last card features both old and new DeNami stamps together. I wanted to think of a creative way to use the scallops from the Simply Scallops Borders I set, so I played with several different options. After a few rejects, I came up with this card. Oh, how the Rainbow and those little fishes {from the Sea Friends stamp set} make me happy!
Now it wouldn’t be a release without a giveaway, right? You’ll definitely want to be sure you head to the DeNami blog for all those details.
In closing, I want to mention that the lovely Dana Seymour and Michele Gross have some inspiration featuring these new borders as well. Head over to their blogs to check them out.
Seeing the excitement you all have on the DeNami blog and DeNami Facebook page just warms my heart. We are a mere THREE days until they are available on our website. Thank you all for your continued support of DeNami; you all are awesome!
Today is an exciting day for us over on the DeNami blog– we released some BIG news, along with a peek at some of the new designs. Well, I thought I would continue in the fun and bring you some more glimpses as to what is to come.
Last night I was working on some more sneak peek cards and created this bright card. My friend is currently in Hawaii and I was inspired by all the stunning pictures she has been posting. Bright and happy colors seem to put me in a good mood- I should use them on all my cards. :)
I spy a total of FIVE new designs on here- can you spot them all?
If you haven’t already, be sure to head over to the DeNami blog to see the exciting news we have for you. Also, this next week will be full of sneak peeks, videos and giveaways!
Today it’s time for a brand new DeNami Blog Hop, and this one is SUPER fun! The theme this time was CHICKIES! If you follow DeNami, you know that we have a large assortment of these cute little critters. I’m excited to let you in on a little bit of privileged information…..we will be having more chickies in the new release on March 1st! (You definitely want to follow the DeNami blog for sneak peeks, giveaways and more!)
If you started the hop from the beginning, you should be coming from Wendy Harrill’s blog.
Okay, now onto the card I have for you today…..well, my dear friends, I have the privilege of giving you your first peek at three of the new designs coming soon. Two of them are obvious, one of them was a little harder to photograph, so it’s not as visible. Can you spot the designs?
If you have followed my blog, you know that I like to create my own stamped background- that’s exactly what I did with this new little chickie. Isn’t this design adorable? I just couldn’t wait to ink it up! (Only 18 more days until it’s available to purchase! Start saving….it’s a BIG release.)
Okay, I better wrap up this post before I spill any more details! It’s off to the next blog hop stop: Pattie Goldman’s blog!
Be sure to comment on every single blog hop stop- there are gift certificates up for grabs! Also, with the new stamps and accessories coming, the GC will come in handy!
Thanks so much for stopping by- I hope you enjoyed your first glimpse at the new release. Enjoy the rest of the blog hop!
It’s time the first Monday of the month, which means it’s time for a brand new DeNami challenge! This month we have a sketch and it just so happens that I got to design this one.
I like to keep my sketches fairly simple, so there is room to add things, if the creative bug strikes you. Here’s the sketch I came up with…..
With it starting to get more sunny, I wanted to pull out some flowers for this card. One of my favorites: the Tulip Border. I just love coloring these dainty flowers! Would you believe that I only used THREE stamps for this card? Yup, that is all you need! (see below for the complete supply list)
I would love for ALL of you to join us in this sketch challenge. All you’ll need to do is create a card using at LEAST one DeNami stamp, and then of course, follow the sketch! You can find all of the details on the DeNami blog.
I’m writing from snowy Washington. Yup, we have been inundated with snow over here- so much snow I wasn’t able to get to work today! While I was quite bummed that I wasn’t able to get to work, I WAS happy that I was able to get some work done here at home. I
While I don’t have a card to share today, I have some pictures of the snow. I just love taking pictures of snow- it’s so pretty!
Here’s a picture of it coming down pretty heavily……
Here’s a picture of it from my room….
I’m so surprised that we got this much snow. The weather forecast said we were supposed to get snow, but you just never know with these Seattle weather people! We are supposed to get another few inches of snow tonight, so I may not be able to get to work tomorrow either. *sigh* Doesn’t the snow know I have things to do and orders to ship? :)
Well, I’m going to wrap up this blog post. I hope you all are doing well!
I’m so happy I had a chance to stamp this past weekend- I was able to create quite a few different Valentine cards, many you’ll see on the DeNami blog and in videos in the next few weeks.
I don’t know about you, but creating masculine Valentine cards can be SUPER tough. My poor dad and brothers always seem to get cards with rhinestones, glitters and bows on them. Thankfully, they’re used to see that stuff quite a bit, so it doesn’t bother them too much. :)
I thought I would go a different route and use this week’s Product Spotlight, the Small Heart Outline, as balloons. I must say, I really like how it turned out!
Here’s a close-up of the focal point:
I know for a fact that the DeNami DT has some GREAT cards using this stamp as well. You can find all of their cards/ links on the DeNami blog.
I hope that my card today inspired you. Thanks so much for stopping by!
It’s time for the monthly DeNami Blog Hop! I’m super excited for this theme- it’s Valentine! I’m looking forward to seeing all the pinks and reds, and also all the hearts we’ll be seeing. :)
If you started the blog hop from the beginning, you should be coming from Pat Quinet’s blog.
I went with my favorite color PINK for my card today. I just love how the Petal Pink, Magenta, White and Brown Kraft colors look together. *swoon* For my main image I went with the Owl Trio, then added lots of hearts. (Complete supply list is at the bottom of this post)
Okay, now it’s time for your next stop on the hop: Rae Ann Beyerl’s blog. I’m sure she has a fun Valentine project to share with you!
Thank you for hopping along with us in the blog hop. I hope you were inspired by my card today. Enjoy the rest of the hop!
It’s my first blog post of 2012 (well, at least on my personal craft blog)! I hope you all had a super awesome holiday season. Now that life is semi back-to-normal, I am hoping to be a little more consistent in blogging.
With a new year comes new challenges…..blog challenges, that is! To kick of 2012, we have a new Young Crafters Unite Challenge for you all. The theme this time around is clean & simple. Since I needed quite a few thank you cards, I thought this would be the perfect time to create them!
Here’s what I came up with….
Yes, I went completely clean & simple with these cards. Usually I have a hard time going simple, but I actually was able to restrain myself while I created these. :)
Need some more inspiration with this theme? No problem! Just stop by my fellow YCU DT member blogs and see what they created.
Can you all believe that Christmas is just TWO days away??! This month has flown by ridiculously fast. I’m still in denial that the holiday is here- for some reason, it doesn’t feel as “Christmasy” as it has in the past. Despite this feeling, I’m glad that I finally got all my presents purchased and wrapped.
Last week, my sister came over with an early Christmas present for me. Imagine my surprise when I saw she made something…..a GORGEOUS white wreath! I recently repainted my room (with a grey, white and black color scheme), so this goes with the decor perfectly. I just LOVE this wreath!
My sister first saw this idea on Pinterest and decided to recreate it. Any guesses as to what the white stuff is? I first thought it was tissue paper….it’s actually coffee filters!
We thought about adding little holly berries inside the wreath, but then decided against it. (I didn’t want the paper to rip when we took the berries off)
Before I close, I just want to remind you all of the challenge we have over at Young Crafters Unite. We’ve extended the deadline, so you have FOUR more days to enter! The next challenge will start in the new year, January 5th, to be exact. :)
Well, it’s off to finish baking and then nap time for this girl. Gotta love vacation time! Hope you all are doing well!
