Hello! Leica here. Today I am sharing a box card featuring the Jungle Background and Woodgrain Circle Stencils from the upcoming June 18th release, along with the Jungle Additions stamp set.
These adorable animals are from the Jungle Additions stamp set. I stamped them onto 110lb cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and cut with their coordinating dies.
I used the following Copic markers:
Giraffe – E43/35/33/31
Snake – YG13/11/01
Hippo – C5/3/0
Leaves – YG23/21, G67/63
Flowers – RV25/23/21
For the box inserts, I used green cardstock and topped it with Stitched Leafy Borders in the same color.
The fun part is creating the scene. Some of the elements are adhered directly onto the inserts and some are foam mounted to add dimension to the scene.
Lastly, I stamped the “Be Brave” sentiment from the Simple Sayings: Brave stamp set onto a white rectangular cardstock and foam mounted on the front flap of the box card.
Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and I hope you are inspired.
Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a look at some of the new dies from the June 18th release!
For my first card, I’ve used two new die sets – Stitched Leafy Borders and Simple Strips. There is also a Stitched Strips set in this new release. These sets are so versatile!
I also die cut two Simple Strips in various widths from the same watercolour panel, then adhered these to my card base. I stamped a sentiment from the new Monkey Friends stamp set above the die cut strips.
I copic coloured images from Monkey Friends, using the coordinating dies to cut them out. I hooked the tail of the monkey around the Leafy Border, then adhered the border to my card with liquid adhesive. I used foam tape behind the monkey for dimension and added a banana for him to hold.
On my second card, I used the new Nature Essentials die. This fabulous die cuts a frame and different scene building elements and frame in one pass.
I die cut the Nature Essentials die twice from white card. I adhered one of the white frames to a card base, ink blended with distress oxides. I used more distress oxide inks to add colour to the grass and ground pieces, then layered these on my card base. I used foam tape for one of the grass pieces to add dimension.
Next, I used some light brown copic markers to add some colour to the trees. I also die cut some leaves to add to the scene from the shimmer powder background I used on my first card.
I stamped a sentiment and added some cute critters from the new Jungle Friends stamp set, coloured with copic markers, to complete my safari scene.
I have one more card to share today, this time showcasing the new Hi Shaker die. I love the hexagonal shape and the large sentiment.
I die cut the Hi Shaker from a white card panel to create a window opening. Before creating my shaker, I stamped a sentiment from the new Simple Sentiments stamp set along an angle of the die cut.
I adhered a piece of acetate behind the panel and added a layer of foam tape to create my shaker area. I added some of the beautiful new seed beads, then sealed the shaker with a piece of patterned paper, before adding the panel to a card base.
Next, I die cut the Hi Shaker twice more to get a total of 3 layers – two from white card and a top layer from white pearlescent card. I adhered these onto the acetate window.
To finish my card, I stamped and copic coloured a sweet tortoise from the new Jungle Additions stamp set, adding him to the card with foam tape.
I hope that you enjoyed these three cards and a look at the fun new dies. Stop by tomorrow for another sneak peek!
Hi Friends! This is Angelica and today I am sharing a look at the new sentiment set, Simple Sentiments, from the upcoming June 18th release.
This stamp set has many occasions sentiments in it: Thank you, Birthday, Anniversaries, Sympathy, etc. I love pairing heat-embossed sentiments with word die cuts, and that’s what I did for today’s cards. I used Hello Friend Script Die for my first card’s die-cut word, and a matching sentiment from the new stamp set. The background is strips of colored card stock that I die cut, using the new Simple Strips dies(releasing June 18th). I glued the strips in random order onto a small card stock panel, and trimmed the edges when I was done. To keep the cards simple, I added dry-embossed backgrounds.
I used the new Medium Polka Dots stencil(releasing June 18th)and my die-cut machine to dry-emboss the card background. I love doing this for my clean and simple cards. The texture is fun, and doesn’t take away from the bright stripes.
My second card is made the same way, this time using the Thank You Script Die, and matching sentiment.
I die-cut the words three times, and stacked and glued them together. I picked black card stock to heat-emboss the sentiments on. I love the balance black brings to these bright stripes.
The Simple Sentiments stamp set is definitely a well-rounded stamp set to have in your collection.
I hope I have helped with ideas on ways to use it. Come back tomorrow for another sneak peek!
Hi friends! This is Angelica and I’m really excited to share a couple sneak peeks with you today! I am showcasing the new Jungle Friends, and Jungle Additions stamp sets, as well as a few other new products in the June 18th release.
The zebra and Elephant are from Jungle Friends. I also used the turtle from Jungle Additions. I colored them with Copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to die-cut them. The background is made with the new Nature’s Essentials die. This unique die gives you several elements to make a scene. I blended Distress Oxide inks over the die-cut paper. I white heat-embossed the Jungle Friends sentiment onto my background card stock, and blended Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, and Picked Raspberry distress oxide inks for the sky. I finished the card with a stitched frame from the Nature Essentials Die.
My next card is a clean and simple card featuring the adorable hippo from Jungle Additions stamp set.
I used warm Gray Copic markers to color him. The background I made with the new Layered Leaves and Flowers stencil set. I followed my die-cut machine’s instructions to dry-emboss the card front with the leaves stencil.
I attached the hippo to the card with thin foam squares, and finished the card with a sentiment from the new Simple Sentiments stamp set.
Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope I have helped get you ready for the new release! Happy crafting!
Hi Friends! Jane here and I’m so happy to be sharing sneak peeks of the new summer Pretty Pink Posh release that will be available on June 18th! Here are a few cards using the Monkey Friends stampset and coordinating die sets along with a few other new items!
For this card, I white heat embossed images of the ferns from the new Jungle Friends and Jungle Additions stamp sets and ink blended them using peacock feathers, cracked pistachio and twisted citron inks. Tombow ABT colors: 407, 195, 133 used to fill in the leaves with a water brush.
The cute monkey was colored using copics and images from Birthday Friends andParty Friends used for the hat and cupcake. The sentiment is from the new Simple Sentiments stamp set(releasing on June 18th) and it was white heat embossed on black cardstock.
The next card shows an adorable monkey family hanging out on a tree branch at sunset. The little monkey is being taught about being brave so, this sentiment from the new simple sayings brave is perfect! The monkey family was stamped using memento tuxedo black ink and colored using the following copics: E25, E34, E53, E41 and E50. RV21 and RV00 added to the cheeks. Bananas: Y17 and Y02. Leaves: BG49, YG06 and YG01.
Background was created by blending wilted violet, picked raspberry, dried marigold and mustard seed distress oxide inks. Die cut used are from the new Stitched Leafy Borders and Nature Essentials(releasing on June 18th).
My last card uses a new Jungle Background Stencil (releasing on June 18th). The background was inked at the edges using Catherine pooler inks: all that jazz and lime ricky. Elements from the Nature Essentials and Stitched Leafy Borders die sets added to create my scene. The little monkey was colored using copics and hung from an ink splattered vine.
Thanks so much for joining me today! Be sure to stop by tomorrow for another sneak peek of the upcoming June 18th release!
Hello friends, Eloise here and today I have three rainbow cards to share with you all. I’ll be using a range of products from last year’s summer release and then a few sentiments sets as well.
For my first card I’m creating a silhouette style card. I started off by used a range of Distress Oxide Inks and ink blended onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. I went in rainbow order diagonally across the card. Once I finished ink blending, I flicked on some water, picked it up with a paper towel and dried my piece with a heat tool. I then used the Tropical Birds andSummer Surfboards dies and partially die cut them from a black piece of cardstock. I didn’t put the plate over the bottom half of the dies so they wouldn’t cut through. I then took a knife and cut between all the pieces to create a sand bank. I added foam tape onto the back and adhered it at the bottom of my ink blended panel.
For the sentiment, I used the ‘Aloha’ word from Tropical Birds, curved it on my acrylic block and white heat embossed it directly onto the background. Lastly, I scattered six colours of sequins onto the background over their respective colours and that finished up the first card.
For my second card, I created a CAS card using rainbow surfboards. I started off with stamping out six surfboards onto some white cardstock and colouring them in with Copic Markers. I thencut them out. For my background, I used the Tropical BG Stenciland used it for dry embossing. I did this by using it the same way I would with an embossing folder; but using rubber mats instead of the actual folder. Once that was all run through, I adhered my surfboards into place.
For my sentiment, I paired both Summer Surfboards and Halloween Pals to make ‘Happy Summer’. I like mixing fonts for sentiments. I white heat embossed that onto a think black strip and adhered it over the surfboards. I cut off the excess and that finished up my second card.
For my final card, I used the Tropical Frame Die to create a colour blocked frame. I started off with eight colours of cardstock and cut ¾” strips from each of them. I laid them down into rainbow order and adhered them together using washi tape. I took the Tropical Frame Die and cut it from the coloured cardstock. I removed all the inside pieces, added foam tape onto the back and adhered it onto a white card base.
For my sentiment, I stamped the large ‘Thank You’ from Everyday Greetings into the centre using a stamping tool. I then used Fall Scene and white heat embossed the ‘For All You Do’ sentiment onto a thin black strip of cardstock. I popped it up on foam tape and adhered it into place. I then used the same colours of sequins and scattered them around the card as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed all the rainbow inspiration.
Hi everyone! It’s Rina here and I have a fun shaker card for you today using the Tropical Frame Die. A2 sized dies are a staple in my craft room, it makes card making so easy! I love making these quick card fronts using these dies.
Watch the video for a step by step tutorial on how to make this card.
The Summer Surfboard stamp set has my heart. The images are so fun to color with their graphic designs and patterns. I also added an extra toucan image from the Tropical Toucans set to finish off this card.
For my shaker mix, I used theCitrus Jewels along with the mini gold stars and sparkling clear stars. I love the shine and sounds a shaker card makes. It is always so fun to give someone a shaker card because it always brings a smile!
I hope you try making this fun beachy card! Thanks for stopping by!
Tape the stencil down over your paper using Purple Tape or some other temporary tape. Begin by stenciling theLeaves stencil using a small sponge dauber and Twisted Citron Distress Ink. Tap the ink down with the dauber, making sure to saturate the open areas of the stencil with color. Go back with a darker color (Mowed Lawn) Distress Ink and place color just at the base of each leaf stem, giving dimension and shading to your stenciled images.
Die cut three leaves using the Small Stitched Foliage Dies. Color the leaves using the same shades of Distress Inks to match your stenciling. Add white accents with a gel pen.
Stamp the Elephant Friends and die cut with the coordinating dies. Color the images with gray and pink Copic Markers. Add white accents with a gel pen.
Die cut two stitched circles, one for the focal
layer of the card, and one for the sentiment. Stamp the sentiment onto the
smaller circle die cut.
To assemble the card, use a cool gray A2 sized
card base. Layer gingham or other gray patterned paper onto the grey base.
Attach your stenciled layer next. Using foam tape, attach the larger of the two
circles to the center point of the card.
Layer the die cut leaves around the large circle and then attach the elephants using foam tape. Attach the sentiment circle to finish the card.

I started by stamping, colouring and die cutting a whole bunch of tulips. I didn’t know how many I would need, so I did a lot, and kept the extras for a future project.
Once I had my arrangement exactly the way I liked it, I used a piece of Press’n’Seal to pick it up and then put glue on the back and put it onto my card front. (if you don’t have Press’n’Seal, masking paper works too!).
I finished the arrangement with a kraft tag and some tiny jewels in coordinating colours!
