Sneak Peek: Autumn Pumpkins

Happy Fall, everyone! This is Melissa and I’m here to kick off sneak peeks of the upcoming release. Today I have couple of cards made with the sweet Autumn Pumpkins stamp set and coordinating dies.

New release will be available September 12th

I created pink pumpkins on my first card, using my favorite paper-piecing technique. The Autumn Pumpkins set is perfect for those of you who enjoy coloring in your images, or if you’re like me and love paper-piecing, they’re perfect for that too.

I adore the tiny squash in this set and stacked one on top of my darling pumpkins. In the background, I have used the new Layered Fall Wreath Stencils. This is one of my most favorite stencils from this release…it’s beautiful. I have also used the Stitched Torn Rectangles dies to die cut my background.

My sentiment is from the new Thankful Shadow die, and I accented my Autumn Pumpkins with the tiny sunflower and bow from the darling Fall Jar stamp set.

My next card uses more of the sweet Autumn Pumpkins, but this time I used my alcohol markers to add color. I used Distress Spray to add splatters to my pumpkins and background as well.

The Stitched Torn Rectangles dies were used once again to build my card. These are quickly becoming a favorite of mine. The base layer was stenciled using the new Deco Leaves stencil. This adorable stencil reminds me of corn on the cob and wheat and I love it!

I sponged ink over my top Stitched Torn Rectangle layer and added a die cut sentiment from the Autumn Pumpkins stamp set and coordinating dies. I added a few falling leaves to embellish around the sentiment and accented with adhesive gems to bring in a little sparkle.

Mini Halloween Notecards

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video with some cute mini notecards for Halloween! I love the idea of having something non-treat related for the holiday and these tiny shaker cards are perfect for such occasions.

Before starting the video, I cut my Mini Scallop Card Dies with some orangey-pink cardstock and made shaker frames with black cardstock and a generic nested square that fit nicely inside the stitched square in the die set. I start with making the background since it needs the most time to dry. Using white cardstock, I stenciled the Spooky Sky Stencils with Distress Oxides (Lost Shadow for the clouds and Black Soot for the bats) and stencil paste. I used yellow to make the stars pop!

While the background was drying, I stamped and colored my Halloween Signs stamp set images with alcohol markers. I used the Halloween Signs coordinating dies to cut them out. With black ink, I stamped different sentiments into the signs and they are just the cutest! My background was dry enough so I splattered on some purple metallic watercolor and trimmed them down to just slightly smaller than 2.5×2.5”.

I assembled the shaker panels with acetate and thick foam tape, you can see each step in today’s video! I then adhered the panel to my orangey-pink mini cards as well as white square on the inside with a Halloween sentiment stamped in purple.

Halloween Boo Shaker

Hey, friends! Leica here. Today I’m excited to share a Halloween shaker card using a mix of new and previously-released Pretty Pink Posh products. Let’s jump right in!

To start, I created a cute A2-sized background by applying orange watercolor on watercolor cardstock. Once it dried, I stenciled the adorable Layered Ghosts in Lost Shadow Distress Oxide. For their faces, I used Black Soot, and Wilted Violet for the stars. To make the shaker, I cut a frame from teal glitter cardstock, added acetate, and foam tape around it to create the shaker well. Inside, I used a combination of Spooky Glass Beads and 4MM Summer Sequins Mix as shaker bits.

Since I wanted the ghosts to remain visible, I only added sentiments to the front of the card. I cut the word “boo” from the Large Boo Shadow in black glitter cardstock and the shadow die in vellum. For the sub-sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp set and cut it using a rectangle scallop die from the Sentiment Strips. Finally, I glued the card panel onto an A2-sized white cardstock, and voila, my card is complete!

Slimline Halloween Cupcakes

Hello friends. It’s Lisa Mears here and today I’m sharing a Halloween card I made using some fun new Halloween products from Pretty Pink Posh.

I stamped the cupcakes from the Halloween Cupcakes stamp set onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and I colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors: Deep Violet, Black, Light Green, FL Green, Orange, Light Gray, Deep Brown, and Sugar Almond Pink. I used a water brush to blend the colors to get a shaded look. When I finished coloring, I die cut the cupcakes with the Halloween Cupcakes coordinating dies.

For the background of my card, I cut an 8 1/4” x 3 1/4” piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and applied Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink to the entire panel. I added Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink to the edges. Next, I used the Layered Spider Webs stencil and stenciled the spider webs in Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink. I added some Sheer Shimmer Spritz to the background and applied a paper towel over it to pick up some of the ink and to add a little shine.

I used the Stitched Border 1 dies to add the purple and orange borders and then added all six Halloween cupcakes in a row. Finally, I added a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp and die set.

Hello, friends! It’s Leica here, and I’m excited to share a fun Halloween box card with you today. I used a combination of new and previously-released stamps from PPP to make it extra special.

To start, I assembled the Scallop Box Card Dies using white cardstock. For the back, sides, and front panels, I created a cute gingham pattern using the Pinstripe Stencil with Kitsch Flamingo ink. I added some splatters of black and white ink for an interesting touch. As for the inserts, I ink blended them with Dried Marigold Distress Oxide ink.

Next, I stamped and colored the images from the Decorative Pumpkins and Cozy Fall Critters stamp sets. After that, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and glued them to the inserts of the box card. I adore the Decorative Pumpkins stamp set because it comes with decorative stamps for the pumpkins, making them extra special!

I absolutely love how easy it is to make an interactive card with the Scallop Box Card Dies. It’s so much fun to fill it with adorable PPP stamps.

Halloween Shaker w/ Stamps, Dies and Stencils!

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video today with a shaker card inspired by the Candy Corn Glass Shaker Beads! I think the orange, yellow and white (with some black) are the iconic Halloween colors and I wanted to use some of my favorite images from the latest release on this card, too.

Halloween Shaker w/ Stamps, Dies and Stencils!

I started with die cutting my background with the largest Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die and the pumpkin from the Boo To You coordinating dies to create my shaker window. To use the emboss resist technique, I stenciled on my spider web layer of the Layered Spider Webs Stencils with embossing ink and used clear embossing powder on the wonky rectangle. I also added the pumpkin stamp from the Boo To You stamp set with black ink and clear embossing powder to the pumpkin cut out.

Now that the embossing is done, I added inks in the color scheme of a candy corn! I started with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide on the bottom right, then blended into Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide and finally a little touch of Picket Fence Distress Ink. I buffed off the ink from the embossing powder and then added a little bit white gold metallic watercolor splatter. The final touch of stenciling is adding in the spiders to my wonky rectangle with the second stencil from the Layered Spider Webs Stencils with a black stencil paste.

While my spiders are drying, I moved on to die cutting some of my favorite images from the Halloween Mug Additions Dies out of scrap cardstock in kraft, yellow, orange, white and black. I added a little ink to my white pumpkin and yellow hat belt, but I assembled them together with such ease and they are so cute! I also stamped my Boo To You stamp set sentiment with embossing ink and white embossing powder onto black cardstock.

Once my background was dry, I assembled my shaker together and added the Candy Corn Glass Shaker Beads and you can see each detailed step in my video today. The pumpkin was adhered to a spider web patterned paper, I created my well around the pumpkin, added the Candy Corn Glass Shaker Beads and closed it with the spider web wonky rectangle panel that also has acetate.

Next I added my die cut images and sentiment around the shaker window as well as some yellow clay confetti circles from the Clay Confetti Wheel #4 for some little, final touches. I hope you enjoy this shaker card and you’re having so much fun with the latest release!

Halloween Cupcakes Shaker

Hey, friends! It’s Leica here, and I’m super excited to share a fun Halloween shaker card with you, featuring the latest products from Pretty Pink Posh. I’m not a huge Halloween fan, but I absolutely adore crafting, and I’m thrilled that PPP has some not-too-scary Halloween stamps. I’m all about that cute Halloween stuff!

For my card, I started with a pink A2-sized panel and used the Layered Candy Treats Stencils to create a colorful and fun background. I used some Distress Oxide Inks in Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Dried Marigold, Kitsch Flamingo, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, and Wilted Violet. To add a touch of sparkle, I splattered some rose gold acrylic paint.

Next, I made a shaker frame using the large die from the Fancy Cake Dies in pink cardstock. This die is my absolute favorite for A2-sized shaker cards because of the lovely stitching detail around the frame. Before finishing up the shaker card, I stamped the sentiment on the acetate panel with Stazon black ink.

Now, for the fun part! I added some Halloween Candy Mix as shaker bits, which I thought was the perfect touch for this yummy shaker card. To make it even more delightful, I stamped, colored, and cut out the adorable cupcakes from the Halloween Cupcakes stamp set. Then, I glued two cupcakes on the sides and foam mounted the one in the middle. Finally, I adhered the card panel onto a white A2-sized card base.

Spooktacular Cat Mug

Hey, friends! It’s Leica here, and I’m thrilled to share a fun Halloween shaker card featuring the new Halloween Mug Additions dies and other awesome items from the August 2023 release.

To start, I created the shaker element by cutting an A2-sized card panel from white cardstock. I added a cool stenciled background using the Layered Argyle Stencils and some Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot, Dried Marigold, and Spiced Marmalade. To make it even more interesting, I splattered some rose gold acrylic paint.

For the shaker frame, I used black glitter cardstock and cut it with the frame die from the Fancy Cake Dies. Inside the shaker, I used the Ghostly Friends Mix for some spooky fun.

Next, I cut out the elements from the Halloween Mug Additions Dies and added color to them using a finger dauber. I used the Mummy Wrap Stencil to give the mug a cool pattern. To add a sentiment, I used the Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp set and the Sentiment Strips dies. To make it even spookier, I added some spiders cut from purple glitter cardstock. Finally, I glued the card panel onto an A2-sized white cardstock.

Halloween Box Card

Hey, friends! Leica here and I’m excited to share a fun box card featuring a mix of new and previously-released stamps from PPP. Let’s dive right in!

To start, I cut the Scallop Box Card using white cardstock and stenciled it with the Mummy Wrap Stencil before putting it all together. For the inserts, I blended them with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide ink for a cool effect.

Next, I stamped and colored the adorable images from the Halloween Critters, Halloween Pals, Decorative Pumpkins, and Halloween Signs stamp sets. After that, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and glued them to the inserts of the box card. Oh, my favorite is definitely the bat hanging upside down – so cute!

Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween on black cardstock, cut it with the Sentiment Strips and foam mounted it to the front of the box card for some extra dimension.

Pink Ghost Shaker

Hi crafty friends! Rebecca here today to share a fun Halloween shaker card! This shaker card is made with the Ghost Shaker Dies and is so fun because it is made with non traditional colors.

The Ghost Shaker Dies come with everything you need to cut the base of the ghost, the shaker frames and the acetate shaker window. I cut my ghosts out of pink cardstock for a fun look, but if pink is not your thing, you can use any color you like for your card. I filled my shaker with the Ghostly Friends Clay Confetti which includes black and white ghosts, hearts, sprinkles and more.

The Ghost Shaker Dies even comes with small dies for the eyes and mouth for your ghost and a boo script sentiment. I used all of those to complete the two flat ghosts and the one shaker ghost. And for a fun touch, I added two of the hearts from the Ghostly Friends Clay Confetti on each ghost to make a bow! This cute die set literally has everything you need to make fun, whimsical Halloween cards with no need for stamping!
