Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. I LOVE to make SHAKER CARDS and today I’m sharing this fun Halloween shaker card using the Cauldron Shaker die

If you would like to see how I made my card, you can watch my video here.

I started off by creating the candy corn background for my card. I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and used the Layered Candy Corn Stencil with the following inks: Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink, Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink, and Scrapbook.com Fog ink.

Next, I cut a Scallop Circle die from orange and white cardstock. I used the orange scallop frame and the white inside piece for the circle on my card.

I used the Cauldron Shaker die and made a shaker for the centerpiece of my card. Be sure to watch my video to see how I made the cauldron shaker!

I added the Halloween Party Clay Confetti to the inside of the cauldron. The confetti pieces are so much fun with pieces that look like real candy! My favorites are the ones that look like real candy corn! I glued some of the confetti pieces above the cauldron so it would look like the pieces are boiling out of it.

I used a sentiment from the Halloween Envelopes stamp set and die cut it with the banner die from the coordinating die set. I tied twine around the lower portion of the card layer and then added it to an A2 size orange card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!

Easy Layered Pumpkins

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here with an easy-to-make Halloween card. I love that I can make a quick card with the new Layered Pumpkins Stencils.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easy Layered Pumpkins

I started out with a light pink cardstock and ink blended through the Layered Pumpkins Stencils with Distress Oxide Inks in Kitsch Flamingo, Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry, and Vintage Photo. I then cut the panel using the largest die in the Wonky Stitched Rectangles dies.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easy Layered Pumpkins

For the sentiment, I stamped the You Are part directly on the stenciled panel. I then stamped Spectacular in Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink and cut it with the coordinating die. The sentiment is from the Halloween Critters Stamp Set. I cut the Spectacular die a few times and stacked it for dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Easy Layered Pumpkins

I then foam mounted the panel onto a violet card base. For the inside of the card, I added a Wonky Stitched Rectangle in white cardstock and inked the edges with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink.

That’s all for this simple, yet oh-so-cute Halloween card. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Mini Halloween Cards

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today and I am sharing Halloween mini cards. These are so easy to make and there’s no coloring involved!.

Pretty Pink Posh: Mini Halloween Cards

These mini cards measure 2.75” square. The panels are patterned paper (Doodlebug Design Inc. Candy Carnival) that I cut with a square die (it’s an old die that I got from the big box store). I then cut 4 of the Spider Web die in white cardstock and 4 spiders in black cardstock. I also glued a small piece of white cardstock for the eyes and mouth of the spider. Next, I cut 4 banners from the Halloween Envelopes Coordinating Die and stamped Happy Halloween on them (from the Boo Stamp Set).

Pretty Pink Posh: Mini Halloween Cards

I adhered all the elements onto the cards and trimmed off the spider web, so that the card can fit inside the envelope. Lastly, I stamped the Halloween Borders on the envelopes in different inks to match the cards.

These mini cards are perfect for Trick or Treat bags for friends and family. I hope that I’ve inspired you to create some. Have a great day!

Boo to You

Hello, friends! It’s Lindsey here today. This new release is packed full of so many fun things, and I have had a blast creating with them. After making a bunch of colorful cards, I thought I would switch gears and do something with neutrals, and I have to admit that this might be my favorite of the bunch.

Pretty Pink Posh: Boo to You

I chose a black, white, and kraft color palette. The simplicity of the palette really speeds up the card making process. I started by stamping several images from the Ghost Friends stamp set in black and cutting them out with the coordinating dies.

Pretty Pink Posh: Boo to You

Next, I pulled out the new Wonky Stitched Rectangles. I ran the two middle sized wonky rectangles through the machine at the same time in order to create a frame. I wanted something that would further pull your eye in to the focal point, so I pulled out the previously released Birthday Circles coordinating dies. I cut the tag in black and layered the kraft wonky rectangle frame on top. The scallop edge from the tag extended above the frame just a bit, but a quick trim with my scissors took care of that.

Pretty Pink Posh: Boo to You

I popped up the layered frame on my card with dimensional foam, and then I added the cute little ghost, sentiment, and stars. I stamped a few stars directly onto the card and elevated a couple with dimensional foam. To balance out the solid and outline images, I ended up coloring the ghost’s bow black, and then added the tiniest Glossy Black Jewel in the center.

To give you an idea of scale, my finished card is more the size of a mini slimline.

Pretty Pink Posh: Boo to You

This release is full of oodles of fun products, but these are definitely some of my favorites. You’ll definitely want to add them to your stash. ;) Make sure to check back soon to see lots more inspiration with this new release!

Day 3: August Blog Hop

Day 3: August Blog Hop

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE //  If you missed Day 2 CLICK HERE

Hello, Gemma here today with a fun Trick or Treat card. I used the new Candy Treats die set, with the previously released Trick or Treat Script die.

Day 3: August Blog Hop

I began by die cutting the Candy Treats die set from different colours of card. I find it easier to keep the die set pieces connected, so I can die cut everything in one pass.

I adhered the pieces together to make lots of fun and colourful candy. You can create many different colour combos so all the candy looks different.

Day 3: August Blog Hop

From black sparkle card, I die cut the Trick or Treat Script die. I added two plain black die cut layers behind for dimension, then adhered the words in the centre of a 5.25” square card base.

Day 3: August Blog Hop

Around the sentiment, I adhered the candy die cut pieces until the background was full. I then trimmed away the overhanging pieces to finish.

Isn’t this a fun card? There are so many possibilities with this new die set, Halloween or not.

Day 2: August Blog Hop

Day 2: August Blog Hop

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a Halloween card using a combination of older and new stamps from Pretty Pink Posh. Let’s get started!

Day 2: August Blog Hop

I first cut a panel in white cardstock to 4×7 inches and ink blended it with Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Ripe Persimmon, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered some black acrylic paint and also used Nuvo Crystal Drops in White over the Layered Ghosts Stencil (Layer C) for the stars. When dry, the stars turned yellow because of the ink behind it.

Day 2: August Blog Hop

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the following stamp sets:

Halloween Critters – bear, bunny

Halloween Envelopes – ghost, bats, spider

Halloween Wreath – ghost, bat, spider, Happy Halloween sentiment

Village – village shops, lamp post

Day 2: August Blog Hop

The stamped images are glued and foam mounted on the panel. I then cut 2 of the Boo Script, glued it together for added dimension, and glued on the left side of the card. Lastly, I made a card base in orange cardstock and adhered the panel in the front.

Pretty Pink Posh: August Blog Hop- Day 1

The August 2022 Release is now available in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop and select retailers that carry our products. If you missed our post yesterday, we revealed all of the products in picture form, but if you would like to see them in a video, Heather has that for you today!

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today sharing a Halloween shaker card with you all. I’ve been wanting to make an infinity shaker card for awhile now, and when I saw the new clay confetti mixes I knew it was the perfect time.

Pretty Pink Posh: August Blog Hop- Day 1

I started my card by making my card panel. Using the Monster Mash clay confetti as my inspiration I created my panel with the new Starry Background stencil. I ink blended the panel with a soft purple ink and then added Twisted Citron and Wilted Violet ink to the panel with the stencil. Next, I used an Infinity Shaker Cover to create my shaker. I attached three of the sides, then filled the shaker with the Monster Mash mix, and sealed the fourth side. While you can make an infinity shaker card with acetate, these covers are really quick and easy to use.

Pretty Pink Posh: August Blog Hop- Day 1

For my stamped images I used the Halloween Envelopes and Ghost Friends sets. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out (Halloween Envelopes die set and Ghost Friends die set). For my sentiment I used the Boo Script die. I attached the sentiment directly to the envelope and then added a few ghosts around the edges. Lastly, I added a glittered spider that I die cut with the Spider Web die to finish my card.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am so excited to be showing you a sneak peek of the new stencils coming to Pretty Pink Posh on August 10th.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

The new release is packed full of so many fun new products for Halloween. There are four new stencil sets: Layered Pumpkins, Layered Candy Corn, Layered Ghosts and a Starry Background perfect for so many occasions.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

My first card uses the Layered Candy Corn stencil. This is a three pack of stencils that are so fun and easy to use. Each layer allows you to add another color and build your candy corn. I used Distress Oxide ink in Mustard Seed for the first layer. The second layer uses Distress Oxide ink in Carved Pumpkin. For the third and final layer I used Glitz Glitter Gel in white. I love the added detail the glitter gel adds to the panel!

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

Next, I added a few black splatters to my panel and set it aside to dry. To finish my card, I used the adorable new Halloween Critters set to stamp my Halloween rabbit and sentiment.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

My next cards use the new Layered Ghosts stencil set

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

This is also a three pack of stencils. For my first layer (the ghosts) I used white pigment ink. I then used Distress Oxide ink in Black Soot for the stars and ghost faces (layers two and three)

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

To finish my card, I used a sentiment from the new Ghost Friends stamp set. Using white pigment ink is such a fun and easy way to create your ghost, but I thought it would also be so cute to use White Flock from Therm O Web.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

I started my card by applying Transfer Gel to the first stencil. Once the Transfer Gel was dry I ran it through my laminator with a White Flock Transfer Sheet. I love the fuzzy texture. Next, I used Black Soot ink to add the stars around the ghost. For the third layer I used the Glitz Glitter Gel in Black to add faces to the ghost. Lastly, I once again used the Ghost Friends set for my sentiment.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Stencils

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my cards and I can’t wait to see what you create with these fun new products.

Enjoy your day, Dana

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Dies

Hi folks, Kavya here with a sneak peek of the August 10th release!

Halloween is usually a creepy holiday and is mostly associated with darker colors, but PPP’s Halloween release is just so adorable! I can’t get enough of all the cute critters and how perfectly well they all pair together. Today, I will be showcasing two new dies- Cauldron Shaker and Candy Treats die sets. My first card uses both of them in a Halloween themed card but my second card is a birthday themed card using the candy treats! They are truly versatile. :)

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Dies

I first started off by creating my background by ink blending Black Soot and Faded Jeans distress oxide inks on a pale blue cardstock. I also ink blended the stars using the Starry Background stencil. I added a strip of brown patterned paper at the bottom for the land. You can also use a striped stencil to achieve the same effect.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Dies

Then, I diecut a bunch of candies from Candy Treats using different colored cardstock. I also die cut a Cauldron Shaker using gray and black cardstock. As always, ink blended the edges and added white gel pen details to make them more realistic. Then, I stamped and colored critters from Ghost Friends and Halloween Critters. I heat embossed a sentiment in the middle of the cauldron and I was done with my card! The cauldron can also be used to create a shaker card. :)

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Dies

My next card is a birthday card using the Candy Treats die. This die set can be used all year long and can the different bits and pieces can be mixed and matched to create unique pieces of candies and chocolates all year long!

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Dies

I simply used pieces of brown and pink cardstock for all the chocolates. I tried to make them more realistic by ink blending the edges using matching dye ink and by adding details using a white gel pen and clay confetti embellishments like Clay Confetti Wheel #3 (fruits) and White Clay Hearts confetti. I also chopped up the clay sprinkles into tiny pieces, added dimes ion using glossy accents and added some transparent glitter on the edges of some chocolates.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Dies

Later, I created my background by ink blending seedless preserves, picked raspberry and saltwater taffy distress oxide inks on pale pink cardstock. I added the chocolates and finished it off by adding a sentiment from Birthday Scripts and Celebration Scripts stamp sets.

Sneak Peek: August 2022 Dies

That’s it! I hope you liked all the projects that I made today. Stop by tomorrow for a look at the new stencils coming!

Happy crafting, Kavya
