Hi everyone it’s Mindy from My Creative Scoop. I have a step by step Copic tutorial to share using this adorable stamp set called Pumpkin Patch Critters. I stamped my image in Black memento ink and onto my Copic Xpress it Blending card.
I’ve also used the Small Stitched Foliage Dies to created my background. These are really versafile for cards and I have been enjoying creating them as backgrounds lately!
Here’s a list of Copic’s I’ve used in this tutorial: W5, W3, W1, R32, E99, E79, YR09, YR04, E25
Hi everyone, Rina here! I wanted to create some treats for friends. I decided to do make some Halloween and Fall tags to add to some delicious chocolate goodies.
Since I was making more than one, I decided to use my Zig Real Clean Color Brush markers to color with a water brush. I used Versafine Onyx Black ink on Bristol smooth cardstock. I like the easy watercolor feel these markers leave behind. I used traditional fall colors:
I cut out all my images and put my tags together. To create the treat bags, I used clear bags that you can get anywhere, I get mine at Target and Walmart. I also like to add paper shred, I get mine from the dollar store. I really like being super themed during the fall and holiday season so I had a lot of fun coordinating everything.
Hope you give these a try people love receiving them!
Hi everyone! Pretty Pink Posh is having a themed week which is Halloween. Yeap, it’s already October you guys.. time flies really fast. I actually don’t celebrate Halloween here in Indonesia but I do really enjoy making Halloween projects since I find it’s an interesting holiday. Everyone is decoated and dressed up, I mean, come on, it must be super fun!
I used the brand new stamp set called Halloween Pals which is a 3″x4″ stamp set that include these adorable dressed up puppy and kitty with their own jack-o-laterns. Super cute! I fall in love with this set as soon as I saw them on the preview. They are stamped with Versafine black ink which is a perfect choice if you are crazy about watercoloring just like I do. After I finished with the coloring I use the coordinating dies to cut all the pieces.
I use the stitched pumpkins from Fall Tags Dies, I cut them three times on deep orange cardstock. As for the background, I blended Chipped Sapphire in the center part and Bundled Sage Distress Inks at the outer part. Dark background to me really adds that spooky vibes to a Halloween card. I also stamped some bats from the older stamp set called Halloween Friends with black dye ink. After I finished preparing all the elements I want, I start to arrange them all together. And last but not least are the jewels, I’m obssesed with them a little bit too much that I feel to add them on every single cards I made. Today I used the pretty Blue Lagoon Jewelsthat perfectly match today’s card color combo.

Good morning friends! It is Melody here today with another project to share with you for Halloween Week. I used combination of different stamp sets and dies to create this Halloween scene.
I stamped a variety of images I thought would work together from the different stamp sets, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I also die cut a fence from black cardstock with the Picket Fence Die, grass with theStitched Border 2 Dies and the larger pumpkin with the Small Stitched Foliage Dies.
Hello crafty friends, it’s Thi! Today’s card I made using a bunch of fun Halloween goodies from Pretty Pink Posh for our Halloween Theme Week! I just love these sweet images and the colors are very different from my usual soft colors and pastels – but I just LOVE this card. Maybe because it’s unique to my usual…or maybe because I love Halloween. Either case, if you like it as much as I do, I will show you how I made it!
As an early Halloween treat during theme week, we’re having a 15% sale on all items in the Halloween category. No coupon necessary.
First, I stamped all the images from the Halloween Pals and Halloween Friends stamp sets. I decided to use with Copic-Friendly Memento Tuxedo Black onto white card stock. I colored everything with Copic markers. After I finished coloring, I die cut the images with coordinating dies and set aside to word on my background.
I love to ink blend so I knew I was going to make an ink blended background. I was going to do my usual and just have orange fade into white. But I don’t know. Today I was inspired to step outside of my comfort and just play with colors. I was so glad I did! I blended Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade, Candied Apple, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire for my background. I love that the dried marigold was dramatically lighter than the rest of the colors making it look like it’s glowing. I splattered water then splattered paint and set this aside to dry.
While my background was drying, I die cut the smaller of the two Window Frames dies out of vellum paper to make a translucent moon for my background. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
Now it was time to assemble my card! I adhered the vellum “moon” on first with strong tape at the bottom of the moon since I knew my critters would cover this up. I also added a few dots of wet glue to the back of the sentiment to hide the adhesive. I then arranged the critters from Halloween Pals on with foam tape. I used glue dots for Halloween Friends‘ bats and spider straight on the card. I added a few metallic gold jewels and my card is finished!
Thank you for stopping by! Join us tomorrow for another day of Halloween Theme Week!
Hi friends, it’s Suzy. It’s Halloween week here on the Pretty Pink Posh blog, so I get to share some of my Halloween cards with you. My first card uses the brand new Halloween Pals stamp set and my second card uses the Trick or Treat Friends set from last year. Here are the cute images all colored from the Halloween Pals stamp set.
As an early Halloween treat during theme week, we’re having a 15% sale on all items in the Halloween category. No coupon necessary.
I colored these images with Copic Markers and then shaded them with colored pencils.
Both of my cards use the same technique of creating backgrounds for cards with watercolors. I made my cards with watercolor paper and used popular PPP dies on both. I used a wet on wet watercolor technique to allow the color to run outward from the die-cut openings for the backgrounds.
For this card, I used the Stitched Pieces die for the background. I then applied lots of water to the edges of the openings and painted the edges with orange watercolors. The color ran outward where I had applied the water. I splattered some orange paint with my brush over the background as well.
I stamped the Happy Halloween sentiment from the Halloween Pals stamp set with black ink in the center opening. I then adhered the cute little critters and jack-o-lanterns from the stamp set over the top and bottom opening. I also used a pumpkin from the new Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set.
I added some Black Nuvo Drops around the images to tie in the black color from the sentiment. I also added some jewels in Espresso and Pearl White.
This card uses the cute images from the Trick or Treat Friends stamp set. I used the Window Frames die for the background of the card. I applied water to the edges of the die-cut area again. I then applied orange paint to the top and black paint to the bottom as the “ground”. I splattered some additional orange watercolor on the background with my brush.
I colored all of the stamped images with Copic Markers and then added details and shading with colored pencils. I adhered the images to the bottom of the card creating a scene. I stamped the sentiment with black ink in the opening. To finish off the card I added jewels in Amethyst and Spring Green.
Thanks for visiting today and Happy Halloween to all of you!
Welcome back to Day 2 of Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Theme Week. Alix here is having fun with you during this exciting event. Halloween is always one of my favorite holidays because I could dress up whatever I would like to.
As an early Halloween treat during theme week, we’re having a 15% sale on all items in the Halloween category. No coupon necessary.
I pulled out my old and new Pretty Pink Posh Halloween stamp collections and decided to build a night theme. First of all, I Copic colored images from Halloween Pals stamp set andHalloween Friends Stamp setand cut them by hand or coordinating dies. I set them aside and I started to prepare the background. I ink blended onto a piece of watercolor paper in A2 size using Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Distress ink in Black Soot. Then I splatted some water over the surface and quickly removed all liquid using a piece of paper towel. Once it’s dry, I splattered white watercolor paint by tapping toothbrush bristle to create a night sky with thousands of stars.
Most of critters should stand on a hill in my mind (except that cute bear with wings), so I die cut two borders using Stacked Edges 1 Diesand ink blended with Distress ink in Black Soot. I assemble everything onto the background using Multi Medium Matteand Foam squares. I used a white gel pen to create some of details in the background such as the stars, wind or on these cute critters.
I stamped the sentiment using versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. At last, I embellished the background with jewels in Midnight Black and4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins.
Be sure to come back for more inspiration and don’t forget that you could get 15% off on all Halloween items in Pretty Pink Posh Shop!
Hello, Gemma here today to share a card for the Halloween Theme Week here on the blog. My card features some great products from the September release – Halloween Pals and Fall Tags.
As an early Halloween treat during theme week, we’re having a 15% sale on all items in the Halloween category. No coupon necessary.
I began by working on the background. I cut a piece of dark grey card, then used the jack o’lantern face die from the Fall Tags set to die cut some faces from it.
On a card base, I layered some orange patterned paper, leaving a thin white border. I heat embossed in silver the sentiment and some stars from the Halloween Pals stamp set onto the grey card panel. Then I used lots of foam tape to adhere it over the top of the orange background. This thin layer of foam helps to create some fun shadows from the die cut faces.
Next, I stamped some images from Halloween Pals, and used copics to colour them in. After die cutting them out with the coordinating dies, I used paper piecing to add some patterned paper details to their outfits, bringing everything together in the design. To do this technique, stamp the portion of the image you want onto patterned paper, then fussy cut them out. Go around the edges with a black pen, to get rid of any white edges from the fussy cutting, then adhere them on your die cut images.
I added the pumpkins and critters to my card to finish this fun Halloween project.
I hope you enjoyed! Join us tomorrow for another day of cute Halloween inspiration! 😊
Good morning Pretty Pink Posh friends! Heather here this morning, and I’m excited to be sharing a card using the exclusive Pretty Pink Posh STAMPtember stamp set – another beautiful floral set! I love Pansies – they were the one flower in my mom’s flower beds when I was growing up that we were allowed to pick as many as we wanted of, since the more you pick them, the more they bloom! So I decided to play a little more with some no-line watercoloring – a technique that stretches me a little out of my comfort zone, but I think this is the happiest I’ve ever been with the result! Maybe I am learning? :)
I started off by stamping a floral cluster using some Antique Linen Distress Ink. I chose this since it is a nice soft color, and distress ink is water reactive, so as I painted, the lines would melt into my coloring and disappear – leaving me with the “no-line” look I wanted. I didn’t spend a lot of time masking, just stamped them out, knowing my extra overlapping lines would be easy to make disappear with a bit of water.
And then I pulled out my Daniel Smith watercolors, and slowly painted and built up my colors – I love when I have time to just slowly paint and take my time! So very relaxing!
Once I was finished and happy with the painting, I added some white paint splatters over the top and a sentiment from the recently released Fall Scene Stamp Set.
Finished off with a Scallop Frame die cut from green cardstock and popped up with foam adhesive, and a few sparkly new Blue Lagoon Jewels that seemed to match my card perfectly!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!
