Hi everyone! Amy K here for Throwback Thursday where I feature an older but much loved Pretty Pink Posh Die. This month I’ve used the Stitched Duo 2 die and created my own background using the circle die in the set.
I’ve “impressed” the circles die from Stitched Duo 2 several times on a panel of white cardstock. I love impression plates but this way you can use existing dies to create the same look! When my panel is complete, it added some die cut colored circles randomly. This background was added to a white top folding notecard with foam adhesive.
My scene was created using the new not-yet-released Bee Friends stamp set and coordinating dies. Remember, you can get your own set with a qualifying order (details below)! My bees were Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive. I added a die cut “trail” as well as a tiny die cut heart.
For my sentiment, I stamped the “hello” sentiment from the Blissful Butterfliesstamp set and die cut several times for dimension. I added my sentiment to a die cut Stitched Labels 1 dies to the lower right corner. To finish it off, I added another tiny red die cut heart.
The Bee Friends stamp set will be automatically sent with orders over $80 this month. In addition, if your order totals over $125, you’ll get the coordinating dies too! This stamp set will be available for purchase in May 2017, but for those who qualify, you’ll get these items two months before anyone else! These are while supplies last (I did order quite a bit, but cannot guarantee they will last through the end of the month).
Along with this darling card that Amy has shared with us, I have a few cards that have used the Stitched Duo 2 in the past. Click on the photos below to see the original post from the designers.
I hope you are inspired to create new cards using this older die set!
Good morning Pretty Pink Posh friends! Heather here this morning – and I’m super excited to share a little card tutorial with you this morning using some of the new release! My card today actually started with my pattern paper – I loved the tiny blue flowers, and decided to base my card around that color. I also used some little coordinating dies to make my shaker element, then filled it with some brand new seed beads that are releasing for spring!
First up, I stamped and colored this adorable little girl from the new upcoming Friends Forever Set, then die cut her with the coordinating dies. My sentiment from another new set, Everyday Greetings, was heat embossed on a shape die cut with a new die set called Scallop Square Tags. (You can see the Copic colors I used below – please excuse the one that is upside down on the far left!)
The stamp set Friends Forever has a little heart in it – and I used the coordinating die on it’s own to add 3 little openings for my shaker window. This is a great way to stretch your dies creatively!
Added my acetate window, a DOUBLE layer of foam adhesive (to give my shaker plenty of room to move!), then filled it full of Hydrangea seed beads. I added a panel of white cardstock trimmed to size to the back of it – this allowed me to have more freedom in when I wanted to add it to my card front, as well as leave white space behind the shaker area.
I added some lace to the card front, as well as a bit of jute twine tied in a bow, and adhered my sweet little girl to the front of the shaker element.
I love the way seed beads work in a shaker – they move so well! And these new spring colors are all fabulous – wait until you see them!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!!!
I started working on these cards by stamping a cross image onto white paper. I used my mini MISTI stamp positioner and Simon Says stamp Intense black ink. Because I knew I will be coloring my image using Copic markers I picked this particular ink formula – it doesn’t bleed when it comes in contact with alcohol. Before I did my coloring I cut the cross image out using a coordinating die.
For my coloring I used Copic Markers. I used green for the leaves and I picked YG67, YG17 and YG03. To color the cross itself I used browns. I went with E79, E37 and E33.
I decided to make 4 Bar cards today instead of A2 (4 Bar card size is 3 1/2 x 4 7/8 “). I also made a slightly smaller panel and I used kraft paper. I feel that kraft is a fantastic color to use for easter cards as it looks very natural. I also find 4 Bar card size to be perfect for those smaller size stamps we all have in our stash.
I used Distress Oxide ink to create a partial ink blended background. I wanted to create a very soft and muted look so for this I picked kraft paper and Distress Oxide ink in Peeled Paint. I wanted to have a gradual transition from Peeled Paint to kraft and I wanted the top left corner to be covered completely in green, I didn’t want the little fibers embedded in kraft to show through and they would if I had decided to use regular distress ink so this is why I picked Oxide ink.
I stamped a beautiful Easter Blessings sentiment using Versafine Onyx black ink. After foam mounting kraft panel onto card base I foam mounted the cross and embellished me card using Sparkling Clear confetti mix. I added a few of those flat sequin circles onto my background, I used Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and Crystal Katana tool.

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s amazing hop and are ready for day 2. Today we have more talented designers and special guests for you and I have a feeling you’re going to be blown away with their creations.
We have a special treat- a fun, easy-to-follow tutorial by Heather showing how you can use both halves of a die cut piece to make two cards with an entirely different feel!
Shall we get started? First off – I paired up the large rectangle from the brand new Stitched Notes Dies and the Storybook 5 die. These are a perfect fit together to build a shaker element – and then save the inside pieces for the second card!
I stamped and colored the same girl from Friends Forever with my Zig markers to coordinate with the pattern paper I chose. Don’t you love how just changing the colors gives them an entirely different feel? I then die cut them with the coordinating Friends Forever Dies. I also stamped my sentiments from Everyday Greetings the card on the left I did on the small white panel, the card on the right I did in the smaller window directly on my pattern paper.
I added acetate to the top portion of the window on the right hand card, added a double layer of foam tape, and filled it with the sparkly and beautiful Friendship Sequin Mix(a Limited Edition Mix with a portion of the profits will be donated to Compassion International – LOVE!)
The other card I embellished with some flat Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix – one of my new favorite embellishments! I adhered the girls in their places, then feeling that they needed something more, I added a coordinating rose in each of their hands, also from Friends Forever.
You’ll notice on this card that I adhered the white panels with foam adhesive, and also added the girl with foam adhesive – this made the perfect amount of dimension on the card.
On the second one, since I used a double layer of foam tape to hold all the sequins in my shaker, I attached the girl directly on the front of the shaker – I didn’t want this card to be too thick and bulky.
I love to make shaker cards – but I also love a clean and simple card. This is a fabulous way to make one of each with a minimum of effort as well!

It’s time for our two day Product Release Blog Hop for the March 2017 release. Many of you have already placed orders, but for those who were wanting for more inspiration, today and tomorrow the design team and special guests have all sorts of inspiration to share!
Today’s cute creations were made by Suzy, one of our newest designers. She has a knack for creating vibrant creations and her coloring skills are amazing!
I stamped the images with a natural color ink and watercolored each image. I then added details and outlines with glitter pens and a White Uniball marker. I added some lavender sequins from the 4mm and 6mm Fresh Garden Sequin Mixes. The For You sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set. I punched a hole in the top of the tag and tied some pink twine in the opening. This tag would be really cute tied to an Easter basket.
This pocket card uses the Easter Friends Stamp Set and Die Set. I used one of the brand new die sets for the background called Stitched Notes Dies. I watercolored the outside of the die-cut border with yellow watercolors and the inside of the frame with pink watercolors. I die-cut the stitched pocket in the center of the inside piece and added a small pocket to the top left.
I stamped all of the images with a natural color ink and watercolored them. I outlined them and added details to them with glitter pens. I added some sequins to the bottom of the card using the 4mm and 6mm Fresh Garden Sequin Mixes. I tucked a $20 bill into the pocket of the card so it can be used as an Easter gift.

Hello everyone, Eloise here and I have a video showcasing a couple of the brand new products that released on March 1st. I’m using the new Friends Forever stamp set along with the Stitched Notes die set for my card today.
To begin my card I stamped out some of the new images from the Friends Forever stamp set on some Copic Marker friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then used various colours of Copic Markers and coloured all my images, then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. Once my images were coloured in I could work on my background. I die cut two panels using the rectangle die from the Stitched Notes die set out of some watercolour paper. I then used the older Stitched Borders 1 dies and cut the curved die out of one of the pieces, to resemble a grassy hill.
Now my pieces were ready to go I pulled out my Clarity Stencil Brushes and a few Distress Ink colours, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grassy hill and Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber for the sunrays. I first coloured my grassy hill with the greens, I just brushed the colour on, going back and forth horizontally across the card to get a nice blend. Once I did both colours I set it aside and moved onto my sunrays. I used a Tim Holtz stencil for this, I could have used masking tape to mask the rays off, but the stencil was easier. I did the same thing with the brushes for the stencil, instead I moved my brush vertically up and down the stencil a lot more than horizontally, since that’s the way the stencil openings go. Once both pieces were done I could assemble.
I adhered a blue piece of cardstock to my card base, and then I used some fun foam to adhere my sunrays panel. Before I added my grassy hill on top I stamped down the ‘You’re my Favorite’ sentiment on top with black ink. I then added the grassy panel with foam tape and added my absolutely adorable coloured images on as well. This set is so adorable, it’s insane! Once all my images were added and my scene was complete, I added some 4MM, 6MM and 8MM Sparkling Clear Sequins to finish off my card.
I hope you enjoyed my card today and have already purchased some of the new release! You guys are absolutely going to love the new products Paulina has designed, they’re so much fun!
Thanks for stopping by today and I’ll catch you next time.
I created a friendship card with a watercolor background. I’m so in love with this Stitched Notes die cut, I can slip in my tag on my card. As you can see, it turned out so cute!
Here’s a video to show how I created my card from the start to finish.
Welcome to “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” Blog Hop! Kathy Raccoosin from The Daily Marker has arranged this hop to share with you her love of coloring! And I am so happy to be a guest on the Pretty Pink Posh blog today to share with you MY love of coloring!
The premise of “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” is to color something everyday even if it’s for five minutes. (However feel free to jump in or out as time permits). Any coloring medium is welcomed. Click here to find out where to share what you are coloring and join the encouraging community of happy colorists PLUS answers to other questions you may have.
So now let’s get started with some cards that will be showing my favorite coloring technique using some of the brand new adorable Pretty Pink Posh products (just released yesterday!). On each of my projects, I stamped the PPP images with a natural color ink and then colored them with either Copic markers or watercolor paints. This is referred to as no-line stamping. After they were colored, I outlined each part of the image and added details to the images with gel/glitter pens.
If you are coming from the Purple Onion blog, you are in the right place. If you get lost along the way, visit Kathy’s blog for the full list of blog hop stops.
This card uses the PPP stamp set called Bee Friends that comes free with a $80 purchase in March 2017, while supplies last. I made the background of the card with the Mini Storybook 1 Die. I watercolored it with greens and blues and then splattered it with water and paint drops while it was wet to give it a mottled look.
This shaker card uses the Friends Forever Stamp and coordinating dies. I die-cut the opening in the background using the Window Frames Dies. I watercolored the background with turquoise watercolor and then splattered it with water while wet to leave splotches. I attached a transparency to the backside of the opening and then put foam tape on the back of this piece. I attached it to a card base and used two types of sequins inside the shaker: the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mixand the Sparkling Clear Stars Sequins.
I stamped each of the images with a natural color of ink. I then colored them with Copic Markers. I outlined them and added details with glitter pens and a white Uniball marker. I added Glossy Accents to the top of the balloons to give them sheen! I used the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set for the salutation with red embossing powder. I added some more of the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.
I hope these projects motivate you to get out your stamps and coloring tools and have some fun coloring! The next person on the hop is Honey Bee Stamps. Keep following along the hop as you will find lots of giveways along the way! A full list of all the winners will be announced on The Daily Marker Blog on Sunday, March 12th.
I hope you will all join in the fun this month by trying to color something every single day. Visit Kathy’s blog to get details about how to share your creations and to find out about all the fun activities she has in store for us throughout the month.
Thanks so much for visiting the Pretty Pink Posh Blog today!
Hi Pretty Pink Posh friends! Shannon here today! So happy to join you to share a card featuring some of the yummy new products from the March release that went live today! Before we get to the card, here’s a video that Eloise filmed showcasing all of the new products.
For my card I started off with an A2 sized white card base and stamped flowers in grey ink as my background. I also stamped them once a separate piece of white card stock, colored in with Copic markers and fussy cut out. I die cut the smaller scallop square with blue card stock and adhered onto my card along with my cut out flowers on top. I stamped my sentiment and finished my card off with Sparkling Clear sequins!
That’s it for my card today, it was fairly quick and simple to create and i just love the scallop square with the flower pot!
Thank you so much for joining me today. Be sure to visit the Pretty Pink Posh Shop to view all of the new products!

This little bee was super fun to color – I added some white gel pen accents and Glossy Accents to the wings, then die cut with the coordinating dies. The hearts, flying trail, and sentiment are all from the same stamp set – don’t you love that font?
I have it all nestled on a die from one of the new sets, and layered on some plaid pattern paper, with a layer of vellum underneath that is also die cut with the new Scallop Square Tags. And then – I added some fabulous new embellishments! A mix of sizes of Sparkling Clear Confetti – and a few tiny Spring Green Seed Beads that perfectly matched my pattern paper!
