September Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

Don’t forget to hop in our day 2 post HERE!

Hello there! It’s Marge here, one of the newer PPP social media designers.

Today I’m sharing two cards I made featuring the Reindeer Friends Stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. I really loved the super cute reindeer and coloring them was so fun.

For the first card, I stamped the images and colored them all using copic markers, and then cut the images using the coordinating die set.

I die cut a piece of fun foam using our Tic Tac Toe Die which is also from the new release. Then I made a small shaker in the center square of the tic tac toe die cut by gluing acetate films on both sides of the square and putting Metallic Gold Confetti Mix in it. I die cut a piece of white card stock with Tic Tac Toe Die again, and glued it onto the fun foam die cut.

I used a pattern paper for yellow snowy background. After putting the Tic Tac Toe frame on a background paper, I laid pieces of the reindeer friends stamp set using foam tape and I also used pieces from the Angel Friends Stamp Set.

The sentiment was heat embossed using white embossing powder on a black card stock. The final touch was adding some Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix and Metallic Gold Sequins. I used copic markers E27, YR27, YR24,YR23  and YR21 for coloring reindeers. For red colors I usually prefer combination of R39, R29,and R27.
For the second card, I did the same with the Reindeer Friends Stamp set. To make a winter scene, I incorporated trees from the Holiday Pals Stamp Set, and the banner from the Angel Friends Stamp Set.
To make a snowy hill, I cut a white card stock using Stitched Borders 2 Dies, then foam mounted it onto a patterned paper. Then I laid each stamped image here and there, and the final touch was adding some Metallic Gold Confetti Mix.

July Product Release Blog Hop- Day 2

If you missed yesterday’s blog hop post, click here.

Suzy here with you today and we have a brand new batch of inspiration. One of the things I love the most about Pretty Pink Posh stamp sets is how they all go so well together! Today I have a card to share with you that uses three of the new sets to form a beach scene.

To make the background for this card, I started with a stitched rectangle (full card size) die-cut from watercolor paper. I then die-cut the new largest Stitched Diamond die from the center of this piece. I used a wet on wet technique to add pink watercolor just around the outside edges of the diamond. I embossed the sentiment from the Summer Friends stamp set on the top of the inside rectangle. I attached both pieces to a pink card base.

Next was the fun part – creating a little beach scene on this background. I stamped images from three stamp sets – Summer Friends, Sea Friends, and Fly A Kite – on white cardstock with a natural color ink. I colored all of the images in with Copic markers and used glitter pens to outline them and add details. I love the look of no-line coloring, but I always end up adding outlines after I’m done coloring them!

I arranged all of the images onto the card background overlapping them to fit them all on. I added some sequins from the Mermaid Sequin Mix around the images to finish the card.

July Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

Hopped along in Day 1? Be sure to hop along HERE for Day 2!

Hello, Pretty Pink Posh sweet friends!

It’s time to start our two day Product Release Blog Hop for the July 2017 release. Many of you have already placed orders, but for those who were waiting for more inspiration, today and tomorrow the design team and special guests have all sorts of inspiration to share. Today we have Joni sharing a sweet card using the Fly Away Friends stamp set and Fly Away Friends Coordinating Dies.

To begin, I first distressed to white card panel with Tim Holtz Distress inks in Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers. Then die-cut the Twisted Citron distressed panel using the scalloped die from the Stitched Borders 2 Dies. For the second panel after distressing it with Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers. I then splattered it with water for added interest and let it dry.

For more added background effect I used the Uni-Ball Signo Broad White pen to create some white background dots. This helps if you don’t have white watercolor paint in your stash to use for splattering. Next, I stamped the sentiment using the Thoughtful Greetings stamp set.

For the images, I stamped with a brown ink and colored the images with Copic Marker. Then die-cut with its coordinating die-set.

Here’s just the close-up. I adhered my image and scallop piece with foam tape for dimensions. I also added some new upcoming Mermaid Sequins Mix to finish off the card.

Ready to hop along and see LOTS more fabulous inspiration with this release?

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hello everyone, Joni here sharing my take on the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using the new Summer Friends stamp set and Summer Friends coordinating dies (releasing on July 10th).

To begin, I drew pencil lines to create sand and sea as a background.

Next, I colored the pencil lines with Copic markers.

Next, I drew a half circle with a pencil mark and Colored it with Copic. Then, I added both sun ray images from Rainy Days Additions stamp set to create the sun for the background.

Next, I colored and die-cut the images from the new Summer Friends. I colored the frapp images to fit the challenge.

Then, I die-cut the whole background with Stitched Notes die set. I used the frame and adhere it with foam tape for dimensions

Then, I stamped the sentiment “happy summer” also from Summer Friends stamp. Next, I added some of the new Mermaid Sequins Mix. I put all my die-cut images on a foam square for dimension.

I hope you enjoyed this cute new Summer Friends stamp set coming soon! Until next time, have a great day!!!

Product Release Blog Hop- Day 2

If you missed yesterday’s blog hop post, click here.

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s amazing hop and are ready for day 2. Suzy here with you today and we have more talented designers and special guests for you, along with tons of inspiration.

I have a card using some of my favorite items from the new May product release. My very favorite set is Woodland Critters, but I love combining it with some of the other new sets as I have on this card.

To start this card, I die-cut a Window Frames Die from the center of a white card base. I rubbed light blue ink on the inside piece of the die before attaching it on the card front. This formed a sky or base for my little scene.

Next, I stamped all of the cute animal and flower images from Woodland Critters with a light color ink and colored them in with Copic markers for a no-line stamping look. I also used some of the leaves and flower pieces from the Bold Blooms and Build A Bloom stamp set to finish the scene. I stamped the sentiment from the Woodland Critters set with bright pink ink.  I used some sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix to finish it.

A Blog Named Hero Celebration Hop

Hello, friends!

We are excited to be participating in a blog hop hosted by A Blog Named Hero. They are celebrating their fifth anniversary and since we have previously sponsored their challenge, they invited us to join in the festivities this weekend for their two day blog hop packed full of prizes and inspiration!

Today the talented Jeanne has created a special card for this occasion. I always adore the way Jeanne creates vibrant and fun backgrounds and this card is no exception. She used the Stitched Borders 3 die set and die cut the wide strip in a variety of colors. Imagine all the fun color combinations you could do with this concept!

Celebrations to me mean bright colors, confetti and balloons. The star confetti was made with stars from the Mini Tags die set cut from gold glitter paper. If you don’t want bulkiness or too much height, these little die cuts are a great way to get some sparkle onto your projects.

The little girl and balloons are from the new Friends Forever set and the sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings set. These sets are quickly becoming a favorite for many and it’s easy to see why- they are just so fun and versatile!

The little bow at the top is part of the Twine and Bows die set. This is such a unique set and if you like the look of bows, but maybe aren’t the best at making perfect bows, or again, don’t want to add bulkiness to your card, this set is a MUST HAVE!

Your next stop is Simone Naoum’s blog

If you get lost on the blog hop, head over to the A Blog Named Hero blog for all the links.
