Merry Poinsettia Corners

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here and I have a Christmas card to share with you all, using new products from Pretty Pink Posh. For this card, I used the Poinsettia Corners stamp setChristmas Candles stamp set, and Holiday Scripts stamp set

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Poinsettia Corners

Let’s start! I first cut a white panel using the Stitched Notes Die and ink blended Old Paper Distress Oxide Ink through the Wide Stripes Stencil (horizontally and vertically to create a gingham pattern). I then cut a sheet of vellum using the Stitched Notes Die so that I can use it to mute the color of the background.

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Poinsettia Corners Stamp Set and the small candle from the Christmas Candles Stamp Set. I used the following Copic markers: E42/41/40, G47/43/40, R39/37/35, T5/3/1, Y28/26. I adhered the poinsettias directly on the vellum. Next, I turned the vellum over and added glue behind the flowers and adhered the vellum onto the panel with a gingham pattern. I then foam mounted the candle and holly on the panel.

I stamped the “Merry Christmas” from the Holiday Scripts stamp set and cut with their coordinating dies. I cut extras and stacked the sentiments for dimension. I’m absolutely loving the new PPP pearls and I added some Metallic Gold Pearls on my card. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a card base.

I hope that you like this Christmas card. Have a wonderful Christmas season!

Christmas Theme Week- Day 7

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 7

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a circle Christmas card. For this card, I used a previously released stamp set called Winter Wreath Stamp Set and the new Winter Candle die.

Don’t forget: all products in the Christmas section are 15% off through tonight!

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 7

To begin, I cut a 4.5″ circle in white cardstock and ink blended it with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink. I then cut a 4″ circle in white cardstock and stamped the wreath in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic Sketch markers – B39/37/34, G46/43/40, RV25/23/21, Y26/23/21. I adhered the smaller panel onto the larger circle.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 7

Next, I cut the Winter Candle twice – one in white cardstock and another in silver glitter cardstock. To easily piece the candle together, I turned it over and taped the edge of the border to the cut pieces. I then colored the candle with Copic Sketch markers – E42/41/40, G46/43/40, RV25/23, T5/3/1, Y18/13. Next, I adhered the silver glitter candle die on top to cover any coloring imperfections and for added interest. I foam mounted the candle onto the card panel for dimension.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 7

Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a card base, which is a 4.5″ circle in white cardstock that I scored at the 3/8″ mark and glued onto the card panel.

That’s all for this Christmas card. I hope that you like today’s card share and I’ve inspired you to create cards for your loved ones.

Christmas Theme Week- Day 6

Jeanne here and I’m delighted to share a card that captures the magic of the season. Every year we like to head into the city to see the shop window decorations. Everyone is busy and bustling trying to complete their to do list, but there’s still a smile on peoples faces and a feeling of good will to each other.

If you haven’t already, be sure to stop by the Christmas section as all items there are 15% off this week!

The Village stamp set captures that feeling for me.. seeing the bright lights in the windows, hearing carolers, the ringing of the bell for the Salvation Army collection, enjoying the twinkling lights and enjoying a warm cup of cocoa as snow lightly falls from the sky.

I love that the buildings in the village scene capture home, shops and church. It’s a reminder to enjoy time with family, be generous, and keep the light and love of faith in my heart.

The Village Additions stamp set makes it easy to complete the scene with trees, a lamppost, carolers, a bench and lots more. The simple sentiment is from the Holiday Scripts set.

Wishing you days Merry and Bright as you rush down the busy sidewalks this time of year. Share your smiles kindness with all you meet.

Christmas Theme Week- Day 5

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 5

Hi friends, it’s Elaine from Pink Peppermint Cards on the blog today.  I absolutely love Christmas crafting so I’m super excited to be here on the Pretty Pink Posh Christmas theme week!

For my project today I have used the Joy stamp and die set to create a colourful and eye-catching card with traditional Christmas colors.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 5

For the background design I took a piece of copic friendly cardstock cut to 5.5” x 4.25”. Taking the snowman from the Joy stamp set, I secured it to a small acrylic block and randomly stamped it on to the panel with a black copic friendly ink. I made sure to rotate the snowman into different directions and go off the page to give a random look to the stamping. I repeated this technique with the bell, tree, holly, sprig, berries, and star stamp in the set. I like to start with the biggest image and move down to the smallest, that way you can ensure you have enough space for all your images and the littlest ones can be used to fill in the gaps!

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 5

Before moving on to the coloring I also stamped the large Joy stamp on to another piece of copic friendly cardstock with the same black ink. Then it was time to color all the lovely images!

I colored all the images with copic markers. I often like to know what color combinations other artists use so I’ve listed the ones I have used here:

Snowman: C7 C5 C3 B01, B00, B0000
Bell: Y17 Y15 Y13
Holly: YG67 YG6, YG61
Berries: R59 R39 R29
Tree: YG07 YG03 E27 E23
Santa Hat: R59 R39 R29 C3 C1 C00
Candy Cane: R59 R39 R29 C5 C3 C1

Once the coloring was done I cut out all the images with the co ordinating Joy die set.  I took a pieced of red card and cut it to 5.5” x 4.25” and from the centre of it I cut the J, O, and Y and used them to place behind their co-ordinating coloured image at a slight offset.  I then took a piece of vellum and cut it to 6” in length (extra to wrap around the back of the panel) and 3” in height.  I trimmed the background panel down to 5.25” x 4”.  I secured the J, O and Y letters to the centre of the vellum strip with foam adhesive and scored both ends of the vellum at 0.5”.  Before securing both ends of the vellum, I also popped a few small dabs of glue behind the letters to help the vellum adhere to the background panel.  The vellum strip was then secured in place with double sided adhesive.  The panel was glued to the red cardstock base layer.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 5

I used a sentiment from the same Joy stamp set and inked it with a clear sticky ink on to a powder prepped piece of black card and heat embossed with white embossing powder for a clean crisp look.  Once cooled, I trimmed the sentiment down to a thin strip with my guillotine trimmer and adhered it on to the O.  The whole thing was then secured to an A2 white card base.

I hope you enjoyed this card project and all the projects created by the talented design team during this Christmas Theme week! Happy Christmas crafting!

Hugs, Elaine x

Christmas Theme Week- Day 4

Hi folks, Kavya here with a another fun project for Christmas week! I absolutely love how versatile the new release is and if you have been following me on IG, you would know that I am trying to step away from traditional ‘Christmas’ and ‘winter’ colors this season! So here is a fun project that shows you how to use an unconventional color palette with a bunch of products from the new release :)

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 4

First, I ink blended an A2 sized cardstock using shades of Black Soot, Evergreen Bough and Scattered Straw distress oxide inks. For the ‘land’, I ink blended the edge of a thin strip of cardstock using Old Paper distress oxide ink. Splatter some white paint for snow!

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 4

Then, I stamped and colored images from Snowmen FriendsVillage AdditionsVillage and Winter Circles stamp sets. Finally, I heat embossed sentiments from Holiday Scripts to finish off my card :)

I absolutely low how the green sky turned out! I hope you give this card a try. If you haven’t taken advantage of the savings yet, all products in the Christmas section are 15% off this week!

Happy Crafting, Kavya

Christmas Theme Week- Day 3

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 3

Hi friends! Tammy here and I’m excited to be joining in for Christmas Theme Week over at Pretty Pink Posh! I have a fun project to share, using the new Snowman Shaker Die!

**All items in the Christmas section are 15% during theme week!

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 3

For my project, I created some snowman gift card holders. If you’re like me, you can never have enough gift card holders for the holidays! These adorable GC holders are so quick and easy to mass produce so you can make a bunch to hand out!

To begin, I cut 3 snowmen using the Snowman Shaker Die from various colored cardstock and assembled them. Next, I cut the gift card holders using the Stitched Gift Card Holders Dies. I first cut the white scalloped pieces, then attached the patterned paper pieces die cut with the other die included in the set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 3

Next, I attached the snowmen to the back of the gift card holders, then covered up the back with another white scalloped piece to cover the snowman and give the back a finished look.

To finish up my gift card holders, I cut a piece of white cardstock the same size as a gift card and stamped a sentiment in black ink from the Holiday Scripts stamp set. Lastly, just slide your gift card into the slots and you are done! When the recipient removes the gift card, there is a nice stamped card that you can customize or write a message on! These fit into a standard A2 envelope, or you can punch a hole at the top and attach to a gift!

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 3

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’re inspired to make some quick and simple gift card holders for the holidays!

Hugs, Tammy

I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out, then started working on the arrangement.

On an A2 panel of white card, I cut a circle window from the centre, large enough for the Christmas Candles image to sit. I adhered a piece of grey patterned paper to my card base, then added the A2 panel on top.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Theme Week- Day 1

To keep the sentiment simple and the focus on the images, I used my stamping tool to curve a simple sentiment around the edge of the circle. This sentiment is from the previously released Angel Friends stamp set.

All of the images have extra die cut layers behind for dimension. For extra embellishment, I added some Cherry Red pearls for the berries and Nuvo Glitter Accents in Aztec Gold to the centre of the flowers.

Non- Traditional Baby Card

Hi, it’s Mona here, and in my newest video I will show you how I mixed these cute critters from different seasonal sets, and how I made this shiny sentiment in the center of my card.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Pretty Pink Posh: Non- Traditional Baby Card

First, I stamped the big baby sentiment from the Baby stamp set with watermark ink to a piece of teal cardstock, then I heat embossed it with my heat gun. After heat embossing, I picked my Prismacolor white pencil, and I made a quick coloring on these small images to make them pop out a little. It’s super simple, just a flat coloring. Then I added sparkly details with clear glitter pen and white blizzard Nuvo Drops.

Pretty Pink Posh: Non- Traditional Baby Card

I continued with the stamping but this time with brown alcohol ink friendly inkpad to a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I have stamped the images from the Monster Hugs, Pumpkin Patch Critters, Summer Drinks as well as the Baby stamp set. Then I colored them with alcohol-based Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers.

I have used the following colors: PP1, FS1, MG1, MG2, AP4, CR1, BO05, BO1, BO2, OR1, BO4, CT1, CT2, CT4, GY3, EB6, EB2, BG1, BT1, BT4, BT3, Blender.

Pretty Pink Posh: Non- Traditional Baby Card

After the coloring I die-cut all the images, then I picked the Slimline Peekaboo Windows Dies, and I fixed the coordinating baby die to the center of the die with a craft tape and then I run it through my die cut machine with a piece of pastel teal cardstock. I also made a bit larger white die-cut as a card front with the larger die from the same Slimline Die Set. Then I adhered the previously created baby text to the back of the slimline die-cut with liquid adhesive.

I wanted to break the smooth pastel look of this cardstock, so I blended some stars on it with light blue inkpad through the star stencil from the Spooky Sky stencil set. After this I splattered on it with white watercolor and gave it a quick heat set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Non- Traditional Baby Card

In the end styled my card with these lovely images. I like to use different types of adhesives, to add a bit dimension to the final look.

Thank you so much for stopping by, see you next time.

Hugs, Mona.
