Layered Cars Stencils

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today. I have a fun shaker card using the Layered Cars Stencils from the June 2022 Release. It’s super easy to make and the shaker element always makes me smile. I’m sure anyone would be happy to receive this card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Layered Cars Stencils

To start, I cut a white cardstock in 5.5 inch square. I ink through the Layered Cars Stencils using Distress Oxide Inks in Barn Door, Black Soot, Festive Berries, Fossilized Amber, Iced Spruce, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass, Weathered Wood. For the windows, I used the Ranger Pigment Ink Pad in Glacier White which turned the colors lighter. I used finger daubers to color in the stencils. They are perfect for small areas.

Next, I cut a sheet of acetate to 5.5 inch square and stamped the sentiment in 4 different areas using Stazon Jet Black ink.  I then cut a brown frame using square dies and created a well for my shaker. I then foam mounted 3 sides of the frame onto the card panel and added some 4mm Summer Mix Sequins inside before removing the backing of the last side of the frame. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a 5.5 inch square card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create some cards with the Layered Cars Stencils. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this new design. Happy crafting!

Praying For You Slimline

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a slimline card, using the Spring Foliage and Praying for You Script dies. I am loving the new die cuts from the May release and it’s nice to take a break from coloring stamped images sometimes.

Pretty Pink Posh: Praying For You Slimline

To start, I cut the Slimline Floral Cover Die in white cardstock and adhered it onto a piece of white cardstock. I then cut a bigger panel in Kraft cardstock as a border.

Pretty Pink Posh: Praying For You Slimline

Next, I cut the Praying for You Script in real cardstock and adhered them onto the center of the card panel. I then cut some of the flowers from the Spring Foliage dies in various colored cardstocks and adhered them onto either sides of the card panel.

Pretty Pink Posh: Praying For You Slimline

Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a slimline-size card base. Super easy, right? I hope that I have inspired you to create cards using the Spring Foliage and Praying for you dies. Make sure to tag us on Instagram so we can see your beautiful projects!

Have a great day!

Mini Slimline Cards + Video

Hi friends and welcome back! It’s Mindy with you today to share inspiration using the Layered Roads stencils and Across The Miles stamp set.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Pretty Pink Posh: Mini Slimline Cards + Video

I love how these layered roads come together. The layering of the stencil makes it super quick and easy to create a background.

Pretty Pink Posh: Mini Slimline Cards + Video

I’m using Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn distress oxide inks for my hills, Pumice Stone and a hint of Hickory Smoke distress oxide for the pavement and a bit of white paste for the lines of the roads.

Pretty Pink Posh: Mini Slimline Cards + Video

Don’t let coloring the images intimidate you! Do a little emboss resist to quickly add color to the images from the Across the Miles stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Mini Slimline Cards + Video

I have a secret to share …… these two mini slimline cards were a happy accident. I meant to create one card but I trimmed the background down incorrectly. Since I put a lot of effort into the background, I was not going to let it go to waste.

I did sneak in one additional sentiment that came from the Birthday Scripts stamp set.

I think these sets are super versatile because not only are they great for little kids, but I think adults too!

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration.

Sunflowers & Bees

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a get well soon card that will sure bring a smile to your card recipient. For this square-shaped card, I used a combination of previously-released sets: Bee Friends stamp set and Sunflowers stamp set

Pretty Pink Posh: Sunflowers & Bees

Let’s begin! I first cut a 4 inch square in white cardstock and ran it through a die cut machine with a dot embossing folder for texture. I then adhered it onto a 4.5 inch square light pink card base.

Pretty Pink Posh: Sunflowers & Bees

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the flowers and bees. I used Copic markers – BG10, E49/47/44, N3/1/0, Y13/11/00, Y38/35/23/21/08, YG99/23/21. I adhered the leaves onto the card panel using liquid glue, foam mounted the sunflowers on top for dimension, and glued the bees on the flowers. The sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments stamp set. I love this set as it covers a lot of occasions for cardmaking. It is my most used stamp set. I white heat embossed the get well soon sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered on the bottom left side of the card.

That’s all for this card. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Layered Stencils with Laura Bassen

Hi there! Laura here and today I have a colorful project to share featuring the adorable, new Construction Trucks products. Never thought in a million years that I’d be gushing over construction truck, but here I am, gushing at them in rainbow goodness!

Here is a video showing how I created this card.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Pretty Pink Posh: Layered Stencils with Laura Bassen

For the background I used the Layered Construction Trucks Stencil Set. This set has three stencils that allow you to build your construction trucks in tons of colors. Get it? Tons. See what I did there?

I used the Construction Trucks coordinating dies to cut out the blended trucks and pop them up onto a cream panel. For the sentiment I embossed the Loads of Love from the Construction Trucks Stamp Set in white onto a simple, black die cut circle.

This colorful, dimensional background idea can be easily adapted using the Across the Miles images as well as the Dinosaur Additions products. Thank you so much for joining me today!

Stomping By to Say Hello

Hello crafty friends. Davina here, “ Stomping by”, with a fun dinosaur filled slimline card using the amazing June Release. There are two new dinosaur sets full of the cutest images and accessories. I used both Dinosaur Friends and Dinosaur Additions to create this card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Stomping By to Say Hello

I stamped and colored my images with bold primary colors, before using the coordinating dies to cut out my pieces. Next, I used a large stitched slimline die to cut layers for my background. I inked the layers and background using distress oxides in bold bright colors. Then I used Ranger Grit Paste and the Layered Dinosaur Stencils to emboss the footprints into my shorter layers.

Pretty Pink Posh: Stomping By to Say Hello

I arranged the images onto the layers, and adhered them throughout, after stamping a sentiment toward the bottom, with the addition of the new Hello Script die. Once everything was in place I finished it off with some sparkling sequins and layered it onto a red card base.

Pretty Pink Posh: Stomping By to Say Hello

I had so much fun creating with the new playful release and I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Thank you for “stomping” by,

Davina

3D Spring Foliage

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a floral card stack type of card. It’s super simple to make and I hope that you will try this style.

Pretty Pink Posh: 3D Spring Foliage

I first cut the Card Stack Base Dies (by Concord and 9th) in white cardstock. I added design and color to the side panels by inking Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks through the Mini Grid Stencil. I also added a background panel and ink blended it with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink.

Pretty Pink Posh: 3D Spring Foliage

I stamped the sentiment with black ink onto the front strip before putting the card stack together. Then I cut some flowers and stems from the Spring Foliage Dies in pink, purple, and green cardstock. I glued them onto the inserts of the Card Stack. And this completes the card! Wasn’t that so easy?

For the flowers, you can always add contrast by inkling the edges or adding colors with Copic markers. Anything goes!

That’s all for today’s card share. Thanks so much for stopping by!
