Hello! It’s Melody here on the blog today and I am so excited to share a look at the new Giving Thanks Stamp Set from the new release that is now available! New stamps, dies and fun sequins mixes that are perfect for the holiday season!
How cute are this these sweet pilgrims! I colored them with Copic Markers and die cut them with the Giving Thanks coordinating dies. Behind the stamped images I added a fence with the Picket Fence Die.
I framed the card with the larger die in the Scallop Frames Dies. The pumpkins, acorn, and leaves are all included of the Giving Thanks Stamp Set. So many options to create a fall scene!
Also, Paulina is giving away a not-yet-release 4 x 6 set in orders over $100, while supplies last. This set will not be available to retailers until next year!
Thanks for stopping by! We can’t wait to see which products make it into your shopping carts.
To create my card, I started with a piece of watercolor cardstock and stamped all the small candy pieces and such along with my sentiment from the Halloween Friends stamp set and colored in with my Zig Real Brush markers and then went back over them with some water to give them a messy watercolor look and added some splatters for extra interest.
I ran my panel through my die cut machine with the Peekaboo die just slightly over top my sentiment. I stamped adorable costume critters on separate water color paper, colored in as well with my Zig markers and cut out with the Halloween Friends coordinating dies. I adhered my main panel onto a black card base, added my critters inside the window and decided to stamp the Boo! sentiment with white ink inside the window.
That’s it for my Halloween card today! Thank you so much for joining me today!
To begin my card I first distressed my card base with Memento Danube Blue Dye Ink, then I used the large star die from the Stitched Stars Dies to die-cut a window from my panel to create a fun star shaker card.
Next, I stamped the front of the blue distressed panel and with snowflakes images from the new Christmas Friends stamp set. The bigger snowflake image is from the new Holiday Greetings stamp set(a free stamp set if you purchase $100 or more or will be available in 2017). Then I distressed another panel in yellow this will go behind the blue panel to reveal the new fun sentiment “warm holiday wishes” from Christmas Friends stamp set. The “sending you” sentiment and “pine needles” image are also from the new Holiday Greetings stamp set.
In this next image I just I want to show you how I position each piece to create my shaker. This time I die-cut the fun foam using the Stitched Stars Dies. Normally I would use a foam tape, but the fun foam saves you so much time.
The sequins I used are the new Holiday Shimmer Sequins Mix. There are some snowflakes in this mix, which really adds a nice little touch. To finalize this card, I added some Diamond Stickles at the bottom for a little shimmer.
Good morning Pretty Pink Posh friends! Heather here to share a few cards that I made combining some beautiful Altenew stamps with Pretty Pink Posh dies and sequins – such a perfect combination! This is also your reminder of the Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop with Altenew, which ends in two days.
This always used to be one of my VERY favorite challenges! Something about trying to make a card in just 10 minutes – so stressful sometimes, and yet SOOO fun! Let me start by noting – I did NOT make all 3 of these cards under 10 minutes, I made each one separately, and each time shortened my time by about a minute or more. I figured it was fun to show how easy it is to take a simple design and make multiple cards all very quickly!
For these cards, I layed out the florals from Altenew’s Floral Shadow Stamp set in my full size MISTI – this allowed me to easily create more cards without having to stamp everything individually. I stamped the panels in 3 different ink colors from Simon Says Stamp – Laurel Green, Apricot, and Wisteria. I used PPP’s Scallop Ovals dies to create a frame – even trimmed thin strips of foam adhesive to make it pop off the background a bit.
This first card took me 9 minutes and 6 seconds – I was kind of scared I wasn’t going to make it in time! As usually happens, I had a clog in my glue bottle, couldn’t find my foam tape for a few seconds, and other tiny mishaps, but made with it almost a minute to spare! Whew! On this one I embellished with Rose Gold sequins in 6mm and 4mm.
This second card I shaved almost a minute off my time, so got down to 8 minutes and 17 seconds. I honestly thought I was going even faster than that – so I was surprised it took that long! Haha! On this one, I embellished with Metallic Gold sequins, again in 6mm and 4mm.
And finally, on this one I got my quickest time – 6 minutes and 57 seconds! YAY! You can see now how easy it would be to keep recreating this same card in different colors and with different sentiments! This last one I embellished with Metallic Silver, in 6mm and 4mm as before.
What do you think – do you like recreating extra cards when you find a design you love that works? Such a great way to spend a little time and make several cards at the same time!
Thanks so much for stopping by today – have an absolutely wonderful day!!!

Good morning Pretty Pink Posh friends! Heather here this morning, and boy am I excited to be able to share a card using some of the absolutely DARLING new releases with you (they’ll be available on October 5th)! There are stamps, dies, and sequin mixes galore – I had a hard time deciding what to play with first! I ended up making a snowy winter shaker card.
The new Stitched Pieces die is so fun and versatile – perfect for shaker or window cards. I can see lots of possibilities with this one! I used it to create a shaker portion on the top and bottom, and a window in the center for my sentiment.
The adorable characters and sentiment are from the brand new Winter Wonderland stamp set – once I colored them up with Copics, I used the coordinating Winter Wonderland coordinating dies to cut them each out.
My shaker windows are filled with the beautiful new Winter Sparkle sequin mix, and I added snowflakes from another new sequin mix – Snowflake Sequin Mix – on the outside to embellish. A simple line around the outside with a fine line black pen and my ruler to help make it somewhat straight finish this off! See in the center how I left it open for the sentiment? This also adds great dimension to the card.
What are you most excited for in the new release so far?

Hello crafters! Julia here and today I have a card for you showing off the Camping Friends set with a fun technique.
The crafting world is full of mysteries and for the longest time, I wondered by people would pierce paper and why I wasn’t seeing it on their projects. My brain had played tricks on me and one day, I realized I had misread the technique – it’s paper piecing, not piercing. Time to give it a try :)
I am using the new Camping Friends set and die set for this card. In addition, I am creating a background with a stencil and some Distress Inks and my blending tool. That will help my tent pop right off the card.
My contrast color on this card is white, and that’s why I left the grassy border I had die cut with a Lawn Fawn die white. It’s such a lovely contrast against the sun.
You know I like to add extra sparkle to my cards, so I used my Perfect Pearls spray again; in addition I also used some Copics to add shading to my patterned paper which I had glued to the die cut tent shape – hence paper piecing.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
Hi everyone! Amy K. here for this month’s Throwback Thursday with creative uses for some of the previously released Pretty Pink Posh dies.
I decided to focus on the Stitched Tags Die and use them as a “background/scene builder”. I started with blending Shabby Shutters and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks onto a white cardstock panel. I arranged one of the Stitched Tags Dies and die cut out. I did this 3 times and saved my “template” as this came in handy when spacing my tags for my background. Next, I spaced my tags and used the Scallop Borders Dies to make my “grass”. To start assembling my card, I used my template to place my tags with foam adhesive and the grass with 2 layers of foam adhesive for dimension. I wanted my scene to really pop away from my card front since it is white.
The adorable Fox Friends set was a perfect fit for my 3 tags and the scene I was building. All 3 foxes were colored with Copic markers, die cut with the coordinating dies, and added with foam adhesive. To continue with my scene, I added a few die cut clouds from the Rainy Days die set that were embellished with the Iridescent Mini Circle Confetti. To finish, I added a smiling sun, from the Camping Friends set, and a little sign saying “Thanks a Bunch” being held by the fox.
Along with this sweet fox card that Amy has shared with us, I have a few cards that have used the Stitched Tagsin the past. Click on the photos below to see the original post from the designers.
Thanks for visiting the blog today! I hope you are inspired to create new cards using this older, versatile die set!
