Merry Shaker Tree

Hi, there! It’s Marge today and I’m so happy to share with you a Christmas tree shaker card I made using the new release products. My card features  the Tree Shaker Die, Elegant Holly stamp set and Berry Bright Confetti Mix from the new release.

To begin, I cut a piece of gold mirror card stock with Tree Shaker Die and then I die cut white card stock again for front panel. I adhered an acetate film on the back of white panel and then I adhered Tree Shaker Die cut on the acetate film window using glue.

Next, I trimmed a sheet of pattern paper into 4.125 x 5.375 inches, which would be used as shaker background. I placed Berry Bright Confetti Mix and 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins on the pattern paper first, then I covered it with my shaker front panel using foam tapes.

After I assembled the shaker, I stamped solid images of  leaves and berries from Elegant Holly Stamps Set on white paper using various dye inks to give color gradient, then I used copic markers to add more shades on them. I die cut the images using Elegant Holly Coordinating Dies and  applied Multi Medium Matte on the surface, then coated with Distress Dry Glitter. When medium was dried I adhered leaves and berries on top of the shaker. Finally, I put the shaker on red card base, then I finished off the card by adding Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix.

I love that the Tree Shaker Die can be used to make quick and easy shaker cards or it could be used alone to create beautiful dimension on your cards. Have a wonderful day.
