Wild greetings, crafters! Julia here and today I’m showing off the Fox Friends stamp set which has a few cute foxes and lots of sentiments and because it’s a small stamp set, it’s also much cheaper than regular sized ones. Let me show you how I combined it with other sets to create a mini-scene!
A few of you have asked me to show more scene-building tutorials over on my blog, and this is one of them, even if it might not appear so immediately. I started out with just the fox, but then added some nature images from the Camping Friends set to give context to the fox. It’s not much, but the wood stump and greens help to create a scene in your mind which the fox alone wouldn’t have been able to.
The sentiment is from the Darling Friends set and you can see that I accidentally stamped the two parts too far apart. The fix was easy – I just grabbed another image from that set and filled the space. There – everyone will think that was intentional and not a mistake :)
Last but not least I created a border with one of the new Scallop Border dies and added some glitter to the background because … glitter!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
Today we have a card by PPP designer, Liz. I found Liz’s work on Instagram about a year ago and after stalking her blog and Instagram, I asked her to be on the team. I really do love seeing my customers work on social media and over the last year, I’ve asked several designers to join in blog hops and guest designer spots based on what they’ve shared using PPP. I want to encourage you all to continue to share what you create; you never know what could happen afterwards!
To create this card, I first worked on the base of the card to create a background using one of my new favorites, the new Scallop Borders as I love the detailed stitching along with the three scallop designs to choose from. I’m loving this new Mini Storybook 1 die as there are several ways to use this die since it has dual stitching. This means after die cutting, a stitched line remains around the block of the negative.
Here, I started with Grout Gray cardstock measuring 4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and placed the larger scallop die about 3/4 of the way down to run through the die cutting machine. Next, I took some Pink Lemonade cardstock and ran the straight edge scallop through twice to add on top and bottom of the designer paper which measured 2 ” wide.
Before adding the background to the card base, I added some fun foam to give this card some dimension.
Again, I do love creating little scenes and adore using these little animals from the Camping Friends set as I think they are so cute. Here, I created some clouds by ink blending some Sea Glass ink along with using the Scallop border from the Stitched Border 2 collection.
From there, I pulled out the large scallop from Stitched Borders 4 to use the negative cut as my template to add some grass by blending in some Jellybean ink. Next, I glued on some Silver Mini Star Confetti to the clouds before adding in these sparkling new sequins.
For the bottom portion with grass, I used some iridescent 4mm Peridot Mist, as I love how it sparkles. Than for the top two little squares, I couldn’t resist but to combine the new Iridescent Mini Circle Confetti and new 3mm Sparkling clear sequins they look beautiful together.
To finish off this card, I added all of the little animals and sunshine from the Camping Friends setand used the Camping Friends Coordinating dies to help me cut them out. Added some foam mount tape under each one to add a little more dimension.
Also, I used a sentiment from the Fox Friends set as I wanted an uplifting saying for a special friend who I think is the best, so I embossed it using white embossing powder against the black card stock.
We hope you enjoyed today’s post. We have posts scheduled the next few days and we hope you’ll join us!
Hello everyone, Joni here sharing another tutorial on making a happy birthday card using these cute foxes from the recent release Fox Friends stamp set.
To begin, I first distressed a white cardstock using Distress inks pads, then die-cut it with round die-cut from Mini Tags die setand the bows are from Twine & Bows die set. From these I will create some balloons for the foxes.
Next, I distressed the white cardstock to create the background using Distress ink pads. The foxes were colored with Copic markers. I also adhered the bows on the balloons with plain glue.
Next, I added some dots of Copics at the bottom of the foxes to create my ground. The trees from the background are from the Holiday Pals stamp set.
Then, I adhered the balloons with foam tape. I also drew some pencil lines for the balloon strings I did not want the lines too dark so I left it like that. I also added some dots of Copics for the background as well. The sentiment is from the Fox Friends. I also added some Stickles on the balloons for shine. Finally, I finished it off with Sparkling Clear sequins for added interest on the card.
Here’s a closer look at the whole card. Take a look at the fun details!
Amy here today to share my first card as a Pretty Pink Posh designer. I am so happy to join sweet Paulina’s team! ☺
For my card today, I have used Rainy Days Stamp Set and Rainy Days Additions Stamp Set. These two sets coordinate perfectly! The umbrellas remind me of rain, which is very common in Seattle. However, rainy days don’t have to be bad days. Let’s brighten it up with rainbow umbrellas!
Here is how I made my card:
Stamp umbrellas from Rainy Daysand Rainy Days Additionswith distress inks. I have used (from top left) Fired Brick, Tea Dye, Picked Raspberry, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Seedless Preserves and Peacock Feathers.
Add shading and highlight to each umbrella with the same inks using a wet paint brush. Paint the background with teal blue watercolor paints. This creates a perfect rainy sky!
I wanted to announce the new team for this upcoming design term. I have been so blessed by amazing designers the last two years and as seasons change, sometimes it’s necessary to change things up in a team as well. We are saying a very fond farewell to Nichol and Yuki, but fear not, they’ll be joining us in guest positions occasionally!
Today I wanted to announce three brand new Pretty Pink Posh designers to the team. Each of these gals have used my products on their creations for quite a long time and I am thrilled to have them on the team! Please join me in welcoming Amy L.,Joyand Melody to the Pretty Pink Posh team!
In honor of this special day, and the fact that I love hosting giveaways, I’m offering up a $100 Pretty Pink Posh gift certificate! How can you win? Guess which designer made which card below. These cards can be found on their blog, so it won’t be too terribly hard to match them up.
From those who guess correctly, I’ll put them into a drawing and one lucky person will get a $100 shopping spree to the Pretty Pink Posh Shop. Whether you want to catch up on previous releases, or want to get the new products that release next month, this will come in handy. Guesses must be submitted by September 4th to qualify for a chance to win.
I can’t wait to see how many of you can guess correctly from the guessing game! For the next few days, I’ll be posting some of these cards on the Pretty Pink Posh Facebookwith names attached, in case you need help.
I hope that you all give the new designers a warm welcome and leave them lots of love. Thanks for joining me today!
Hello, Anna Kossakovskaya is here today with my second guest designer post, and todayI have another card created using Fox Friends set to share with you.
I stamped all foxes from the set using gray inks for the next coloring – such light silhouettes make the card softer. For cutting, I used the Fox Friends coordinating dies. Then I made the background – I cut the front panel using the Scallop Borders, blended it with two Distress inks, sprinkled with the water to get some spots and glued to the card base.
Then I cut three ovals using Stitched Tags Die – one for each of foxes – and stuck them to the panel with the foam tape to add the dimensions. Afterwards I placed the foxes on the ovals.
Hello, Pretty Pink Posh fans! This is Yana and today I am stretching my dies and using them to make flowers for an elegant Sending Hugs card.
Dies are such versatile tools and you can do so much using them. In one of my previous blog posts I shared a card where I used one of Pretty Pink Posh dies to die cut canvas, today I’m going to die cut felt and manipulate the die shapes slightly to create florals.
Before we get start I’d like to point out that you can use your thin dies to die cut felt, but not all brands felt will cut equally nicely. I suggest staying away from the cheapest felt and going with something a bit more expensive if you’d like to get a nice clean cut with your dies. I have a few different brands of felt and some die cut okay, some die cut beautifully, others don’t cut at all. My favorites so far are Simon Says Stamp and WPlus9.
So grab your felt and Pretty Pink Posh dies and start die cutting! I’m using a scalloped border die from the Stitched Borders 1 set and also an inner circle die from the Stitched Duo 2 set.
The scalloped border die gives you a nice border which you’ll need to trim with your scissors. I like to trim mine pretty close to the scallops, this way when I roll my flowers they end up being not too dimensional (not too tall). You can also use border die from the Stitched Borders 2 set, Stitched Borders 3 and Stitched Borders 4. If you have all of these sets you can even mix and match your die cuts and have flowers with different size petals. To create the flower simply roll the scalloped strip and secure the end with glue. I used Glossy Accents, however a hot glue gun would probably be a better option.
You can also create flowers out of circles. Here I’ve die cut a few using the inner die from the Stitched Duo 2 set and used white thread to pinch the middle of the circle to create tiny blooms. If you’d like to have bigger flowers, use a circle die from the Stitched Essentials 1 set or even from the Stitched Banners Duo 2.
No flowers look complete without a few leaves, so I used a branch from the Holiday Pals die set to die a few leaves for my floral clusters.
To put this card together I also created a mini see-through shaker by using a die from the Stitched Essentials 1 setalong with tiny silver confetti stars and smallest clear sequins from my Sparkling Clear Sequin Mix. I die cut one more tag out of dark gray cardstock by using a die from the Mini Tag die set. The sentiment, Sending Hugs, was heat embossed in white embossing powder onto vellum and the vellum strip was wrapped around the card.
I also added one tiny banner die cut out of felt to continue the overall felt theme and embellished my card with a number of clear sequins.
Hi everyone! Amy K. here with a bright summery card featuring an older but wonderful die called Storybook 1. I’m sharing this for our monthly Throwback Thursday feature!
I wanted to use the Blissful Butterflies from the recent release again before summer is over. I began by nesting the largest Scallop Frame die along with the Storybook 1 die. This gives a large(r) frame to make my shaker PLUS it gives such a pretty border around the Storybook 1 die. I masked off the area where my shaker contents would go and blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to my top folding white notecard.
I added some sequins in 4mm and 6mm Marigold, Tangerine, and Sparkling Clear along with some Iridescent Star Confettito my shaker. I added my large frame with foam adhesive and sealed the edges. To the front of my card, I added some Copic colored Blissful Butterflieswith foam adhesive. Lastly, I added my stamped and die cut “hello” to the lower right corner of my shaker card.
Along with this sweet shaker card that Amy has shared with us, I have a few cards that have used the Storybook 1in the past. Click on the photos below to see the original post from the designers.
Thanks for visiting the blog today! I hope you are inspired to create new cards using this older, versatile die!
Welcome back everyone! It’s Nina-Marie here with you today featuring a fun technique on coloring your Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets to create gorgeous embellishments for your cards!
I love using Clear Droplets on my cards; because they are clear, this makes them perfect for using with just about any style of project! However, sometimes you might find you want them to be a specific color to coordinate better with your card, or to create a certain effect. Well, by using some Copic refill ink, you can do just that!
I used refills for this technique today, but bear in mind you can color over the Clear Droplets with markers instead. Since I was creating a lot of the same color of droplets, I ended up using the Copic refills because it was faster than coloring with an individual marker.
For those of you looking for other alternatives to recreate this technique: Copic ink is alcohol based; and while I haven’t tried it personally, I would imagine that other alcohol inks like Ranger Adirondacks, Nuvo/Tonic Creative Pens, Chameleon Pens, Touch Twin Markers and others would also work. Just do some testing before trying it on a specific project!
In today’s video, I’ll be sharing the steps I took to create the colored Clear Droplets, including a few tips and tricks! I’ll then walk you through how I used those droplets to create the sweet scene card you see in the photos, using Pretty Pink Posh dies and stamps from My Favorite Things!
